Nice, modern cabin with all amenities needed for a short stay. It accommodates for a family with two young children but not for 6 adults, due to the small size of the 2 top bunk beds. The cabin itself was nicely renovated we had a very pleasant stay.

Fantastic place! The decor that just keeps giving, every time we turned around there was some new and fascinating item that caught our eye. Great location close to the hot springs, comfy bed, lots of space and all the modern conveniences. Coco welcomed us cheerfully even though we were much later than planned. We would definitely recommend this place.

One night was not enough! This was our first ever Airbnb experience and if Coco and her home were anything to go by, we will definitely be using Airbnb for all future bookings. We loved our time at 'Hotel De Love'. The decor was out of this world and it was so much fun finding all the hidden gems scattered around. Coco has thought of everything to make our stay so relaxing. You can't beat Ray Charles on a record player whilst sat by a roaring fire. Coco was lovely and hospitable and always happy to help/offer advice on the local area. We will definitely be returning and have not stopped telling all our friends about our stay!

A lovely quiet retreat to get away from city life. Very close to wineries in red hill. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Koalas Without Borders over Easter 2017. The property is in a very convenient location, close to all the nearby wineries and restaurants. The bed was very comfy and the studio extremely clean. The breakfast was a great touch. The only issue we had was with internet and not having mobile reception which is a challenge when you want to book restaurants or do some research during a busy weekend.

Janette is by far the best host my partner and I have ever had. Everything was perfect! Koalas without borders is such a magnificent stay and would recommend to anyone!

The cottage exceeded our expectations with all modern facilities. The breakfast and food left by the host was delicious. The view and gardens were a delight as was our host. Please don't tell anyone about this little gem as we want to keep this cottage a secret.

Incredible views, comfortable, helpful hosts

Emma and Matt were amazing hosts; great communication prior to visit and a warm welcome at check-in! The studio has many eclectic touches and we enjoyed the artwork. Thank-you for finding a way to still screen our movie even after the rain set in, and the homemade dips were ordered as part of the Gold Class experience were delicious - very much recommend guests to use the Gold Class offer for food during their stay! We struggled with the steps down from the studio after rainfall so future guests make sure you pack some good grip shoes and all should be well! I’m sure Emma and Matt would also be only to happy to help guests navigate the steps if necessary as they are both so accommodating.

We had a glorious weekend at Emma-Jane and Matt’s place. The room is basically the perfect artist’s studio right at the back of the block, which might mean a bunch of steps but is well worth it for the glorious view over Dromana towards Arthur’s Seat. It’s private, light and designed for the perfect weekend. Watching a movie on a warm Saturday night on the deck overlooking the beach was just a glorious bonus. Finally, Emma-Jane and Matt were fantastic. Communication and check-in was really straightforward and both Matt and Emma were really welcoming and helpful.

Very comfortable and just a few steps to the beach. Very clean with good quality comfortable beds. There is no lounge as such but there is an outside area and BBQ. A short walk to cafes and shops.

It’s a neat and cozy little place that is fabulously close to the beach! It being a cabin though, can get a bit noisy at night with the wind, the rain, and the traffic. I guess that could be part of the charm. Lastly, our host Christel at the time was very responsive during our stay!

What a fantastic location! Beautiful spot with many terrific amenities near-by. A short drive to many local attractions. While we stayed we went to the Dromana Drive-In and Enchanted Garden Adventure Park. If you're staying on the Peninsula, this is a great location.

The Black Cabin is a gorgeous and stylish three rooms in the small village of Balnarring. The location on the Mornington Peninsula is very convenient for all of the amazing recommendations that Taryn provided. There's lovely food, wine, scenery and beaches a short drive away. Taryn's house is right next door so easy if you have any questions.

We absolutely loved our stay at the black cabin! The place was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Taryn was a great host, always replying quickly and giving us tips on what to do. We will 100% be back!!

Cabin is close to main house but still felt private. Bed is super comfortable and the cabin is squeaky clean! Great little hub for your exploration of the area. Taryn was quick to respond to any questions we had and provided ample tips on the area.

This cabin relaxed us from the moment we stepped ginside. Gorgeous clean & simple design and wonderfully decorated interiors, There's been a thoughtful touch to all the details - beautiful cutlery & crockery, a super deep and comfy couch, delightful open plan bathroom and lots more to complete a modern beach house look & feel. Our stay was so relaxing and Taryn was very warm and welcoming, with delicious breakfast provisions for the next morning provided. Highly recommend the cabin as an ideal base to explore Mornington Peninsula - beaches just a short drive away and of course fabulous Red Hill eating and drinking.

Taryn and her husband are both very nice and accomodating. Taryn was very prompt with all my queries and making sure the stay was comfortable. She even recommended all the places I could go to in the area which I ended up trying most of them. The breakfast provided was definitely a nice touch. Contemporary and high end furnishing and homeware products used in the black cabin making you feel special and exclusive. We will definitely recommend this place to others and will return the next time we are in the Balnarring / Red Hill area.

What a beautiful warm and welcoming smile, Greeted by Lin we felt comfortable in our own private hidden away retreat, yet close to an open ear if required. PERFECT WEEKEND GETAWAY!! This gorgeous little cabin is central enough to all of the amazing things Rye has to offer whilst also feeling nice and secluded. The cabin was immaculately clean and well presented. The bed was super comfy and the breakfast basket and coffee machine were really lovely touches that made our stay here really relaxing. Lin was quick and concise with her communication and even made the effort to check in with us to make sure everything was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

This is definitely a"Million Dollar View."The highlight of our stay was sitting on the balcony sharing a wine and admiring the view,then the sunset & later the stars. The house had everything we needed & beds are comfy. Well worth a visit.

As the title suggests, this house really is all about the view and location! Stunning. Very quiet neighbourhood, within minutes from Safety Beach. Although the house decor is perhaps a little bit ‘dated‘, it was tidy and clean. Note that there’s no BBQ and missing some kitchen items such as enough wine glasses which we felt was a shame for such a friends & family oriented house. We enjoyed our stay nonetheless and would recommend it. Chelsea was helpful and responded quickly.

This place was amazing, perfect for a couples night on the peninsula. We were greeted with warm scones and freshly baked bread, fresh honey, fresh eggs, jam etc... the place was so gorgeous with lots of little touches... loved playing pool in the pool room with some home made beers provided. Cannot recommend this place enough, we had a fantastic night away from Melbourne here! The cabin is super cosy and Lucy and Dion were very thoughtful and thorough hosts providing an amazing breakfast, prepping the fire, giving easy communication and showing us around their inspirational off the grid property. The place was well located for us to visit the hot springs and wineries (even using Uber in the evening) for a perfect weekend break.

Our first Airbnb experience and it was wonderful! The cutest eco-cottage fantastic for a couple's getaway on the peninsula. Comfortably rustic aesthetics and a great host.

Where do I begin? The cabin exceeded my expectations; no smell with the compost toilet, everything was super clean, the fresh bread was amazing (as were the eggs) and the wood box was full of all the firewood we could possibly use to keep warm at night. The location was quiet and peaceful and we felt very secluded; just enjoyed watching the birds and the possums from the front porch. The cabin was very cozy and just the right size for the two of us, and we look forward to staying again!

Lucy and Dion were lovely and the cabin was spic and span with everything you could need - they've thought of everything to make the stay very comfortable. They added many unexpected beautiful special touches - we felt very privileged! A peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

We had such an enjoyable time at Captain's Cottage, Hidden Treasures. It was a perfect 3 nights to unwind after out wedding. Had all the amenities we needed and wasn't too far from shops or restaurants. The walking track detailed on the wall was a highlight of our stay. Just stunning.

I arrived after work on a Friday and Bryan greeted me and had kindly turned the lights and heater on before I arrived. I also met Heather while I was there and had a lovely chat. The B & B is a lovely restored old cottage - with a modern bathroom and kitchen, a good size living area and a lovely verandah to sit out on and admire the lovely country farm view down the hill - and the gorgeous black faced sheep! The perfect peaceful retreat for a quiet and relaxing getaway whilst being walking distance to town for cafes, restaurants, shops, and massage at the natropath. I slept like I was in a coma! 11 hours one night in fact (I must have needed it). Thank you Heather and Bryan for your wonderful hospitality!

The fisherman's cottage was surprisingly spacious and had a lovely open feel with high wood panelled ceilings and large windows with views to distance farmland. As its a semi-suburban rural area, the cottage is near to the main house and neighbours however it feels very private and secluded. The cottage has obviously been built with a lot of love and attention to detail - its certainly one of the loveliest AirBnBs we've stayed at. The wi-fi was a bonus too. Whilst we didn't get to meet Heather as she was away, her communications were timely and helpful, and her friend checked in on us. The sheep in the back paddock will come and visit at the fence for a bit of a pat too. The local grocery store is walking distance and a must visit, stocking local produce, wine, beer etc and the staff are friendly. There are lots of things to do in the surrounding area, we barely scratched the surface over the few days we stayed.

This is a great little cottage for visiting The Mornington Peninsula. Conveniently located just outside of Flinders, it was perfect for my wife and 2yr old. The room and facilities were very clean and its location was private. Heather provided us with travelling tips and was very accommodating. Would love to visit again.

My sister and I were looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne, with access to beach and beautiful country walks. We also wanted a kitchen to be able to prepare our own food and have a nice, cozy and clean space to relax (and for my baby niece to be able to crawl around!). Heather’s fisherman’s cottage was just the place—an absolutely charming spot with everything we were looking for. While Heather was away upon our arrival, she checked in with us beforehand to make sure that we were comfortable with this as well as to see if we had any additional needs or questions. She was so kind as to set up a cot for the baby just in case we wanted to use it. We did not actually meet in person until our final night at her place but she made herself available throughout our stay via her mobile—which we never actually needed to call as we had everything we needed. My sister and I felt very welcome and tended to and Heather’s warm demeanor certainly contributed to this. When we did meet in person, Heather greeted us with fresh eggs from her laying hens and offered additional recommendations of things to do in the area. I would certainly recommend paying a visit to Heather’s Fisherman’s Cottage and enjoying Flinders and it’s beautiful surrounds—you won’t regret it!

We loved our stay at this little bungalow. It's a perfect place for a weekend get away. It was maintained nicely with all the needed amenities. Although in their backyard it was completely private and Hoang and her family were lovely to chat to and give advice on the area. I would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone traveling to the peninsula.

Karen and Andrew’s cabin was wonderfully situated and had great amenities. We travelled with our kids and we all enjoyed a lovely weekend- would definitely visit again.

The accommodation was very well presented and the hosts were very welcoming. They had bread cooking in the bread cooker when we arrived and they'd left fresh eggs from the hen house. The kids loved discovering the expansive garden area which had a veggie patch, chickens, geese and a bee hive. They also loved riding their bikes around the paths and using the basketball ring. The accommodation was clean, tidy and well decorated. The kitchen had the things we needed and there were even board games to entertain us.

We had a very comfortable stay at Karen's lovely cabin. Pretty location. Surprised by fruit chocolates juice etc in the cupboards. Very clean

We loved everything about our stay. The cabins are so homely and spacious with great family facilities at your door step. Location location !! So close to cafes, restaurants, activities and the beach. Richard was super friendly to talk and have a laugh with. We had a lovely time staying at Kate’s cute beach shack. Perhaps a little further from the beach and town than stated in the description, but still a nice walk or short drive. House was a little dirty and the backyard was quite overgrown. Would recommend taking own high chair and portacot for little ones as what was provided wasn’t really useable. Overall, a good place to stay for a short trip.

Kate’s place is clean, comfortable and a short drive to several local beaches and the Sorrento shopping strip. The fly screens on all windows were very welcome on the hot nights. The driveway to the house is very hard to see from the main road, even when we knew where it was! Very much enjoyed our stay.

This is not a private small place. It’s a travelers park. Sort of a motel I would say. So this was not a “personal” place but a place of business. Other then that, the room was shower got the title of “the smallest shower I have been too”(I would say. Less then square meter and the shower head was no higher then 1.60 meters high) but all in all. Nice and cozy place

Place was really nice and cosy! Space was just nice for 2 and carpark is right in front of your doorstep which is great. Service was excellent and communication was good as well. The location is in the centre and a lot of attraction around. Penguin Parade is abt 2 mins drive. Please try it!

We really enjoyed staying in Phoebe's bungalow. It is a very peaceful spot, with easy access to the beach and local wineries. While the accommodation is basic it is clean, has a lovely view of the paddocks and Phoebe was very welcoming. Phoebe also very kindly posted back a couple of items which we had left behind. We had a wonderful weekend away!

The setting at Agapanthus Cottage is absolutely beautiful. It is situated near paddocks in a lovely country setting complete with two friendly dogs and a very sweet Horse! Our host created a guide book that is helpful and welcoming. She was very mindful of us, sharing salt and pepper when we forgot to bring some and putting off mowing while we were home to maintain a peaceful and quiet environment. A truly lovely experience!

Phoebe's place was quite homely and Phoebe was great to deal with. Our booking was very last minute but Phoebe promptly accepted our booking and made everything very easy. She very kindly turned the heater on before we arrived too which was lovely. The bedroom was a bit chilly, but then we discovered the electric blanket! It's located in a great spot between Red Hill And Merricks so was a great base to explore the peninsula.

I don't want to rave about this place too much because we don't want it to become too popular! This is the perfect choice if you are looking for a comfortable, convenient mini-break location. It is close enough to great wineries, beaches, and restaurants while still being remote enough to enjoy a sense of space and peace away from the crowds. The dogs were a highlight - we miss them already.

Very comfortable and private farm-stay cottage in a beautiful and tranquil "get-away" location. Set amongst beautiful farm animals and scenery. Loved saying "hello" to the two resident dogs and Danny the horse who came to greet us from the edge of his paddock each morning. "Last-minute" booking was no problem and Phoebe was very welcoming and helpful.

We stayed in a nice spacious cabin on a great location near the shops, restaurants etc. in Cowes. Robyn at the reception was warm and welcoming and had us upgraded which meant we could sleep in a kings bed. Awesome! We slept like wombats. Nice island, nice place, nice people. Very comfortable, so I would definitely stay again next visit. By the way, did I mention the bed?

Only stayed for one night, but place is exactly like discribed and very clean. Cosy Park on a good location, easy checkin with lot’s of tips for activitys. Would book again without a doubt.

Close to the shops, with check-in an easy breeze through reception, the place was fantastic value! It's in the middle of the Amaroo park, and furnished like a hotel. Communication with Lisa was great! Highly recommend for ease of movement around Cowes
