Anna’s flat is spotlessly clean and is very well equipped, both in the kitchen and for entertainment. If the rain ruins your stay you have the choice of Sky, DVDs or board games to keep you occupied. Anna was at home when we arrived and let us in to the flat and was available if we had problems, which we didn’t. The bedroom is light and airy and the bed is extremely comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was powerful. If you are looking for accommodation in Darlington, look no further than here. Absolutely wonderful.

A sweet and warm room, riverside view and quiet st from the window. 5mins walking from the station, or a large Sainsbury. Many choices of take away around. A 5 star accommodation, to be conclude.

Absolutely five stars - no question! A really friendly, laid-back, easy household. Very peaceful and quiet - a great night's sleep... warm and cosy, a comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Perfectly situated for the amenities in Darlington Town Centre. I would not hesitate to book again or recommend to others. I had to extend my stay in Darlington and rather than move to a relative's house that became unoccupied - I choose to extend my stay at Anna's.

This is a great place to stay. The apartment feels spacious and is very well equipped with allocated parking. It’s warm and cosy and the shower is amazing!

Very well placed for all modes of transport and central to Darlington itself. The apartment was spotless, modern and comfortable. The beds particularly were inviting with a decent mattress, and good quality sheets...perfect. We will definitely stay here again should we need to come back to Darlington in the future.

Handy location, only a few minutes from the station and 10-15 minute walk into town. Apartment was modern and immaculately clean. 100% recommended.

Have already booked with Simon before and i have been Happy i did It again. Always a nice Place clean very well done and in a good position.

Simon was a great host and although he wasn't there at the time of my stay he was very attentive to messages, making check-in-and -out very easy. The house was lovely and clean and was able to feel right at home during my short stay. I also checked out some of Simon's recommendations for places to eat and my pizza on the evening and breakfast the next morning were great! If I was in the area again in the future, I would definitely book with Simon again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bill's place. The location was perfect for what we planned to do, from taking trips into Barnard Castle, up to High Force and exploring the local area. The place was easy to find, just a short distance from a friendly village, with even nicer fish and chips. We found the communication to be good in the lead up to our stay, so we knew exactly what to do on our arrival. The privacy was good, and there were lots of nice touches throughout the rooms. We would really recommend Bill's place!

Very comfortable and warm. Everything we needed for our overnight stay. Shame about the log burner, we were looking forward to cosying up to a log fire.

My second stay here at Limekilns and I hope not my last. I was up here for work and needed a quiet comfortable base. It’s a beautiful spot, Fiona’s dogs wished me hello every morning and I slept like a log. I needed to extend the stay twice and Fiona responded instantly to my requests. That’s the great thing about these hosts, you know they’re about if you need them. Recommended highly.

What a gem of a home! It was incredibly cozy and private. We didn’t have much of a chance to explore - we were in town for a wedding at Middleton Lodge. The lodge was in walking distance for us, which is why we booked here. However, having now stayed at Fiona’s, it’s a destination in its self if you’re looking to get away from it all. The eggs & milk left for us were such a lovely added touch. The sheep and dog were wonderful yard friends! :)

We really enjoyed our stay in Richmond! It was much easier to find than we expected! It was very clean, cosy and a very lovely, peaceful environment. There is everything you need - the kitchen was very well equipped if you are wanting to cook and we loved the little added touches of the chocolates and eggs! The shower was lovely and hot and the bed is perfect if you're after a good night's sleep! We loved our stay here - if only we could have stayed for longer!

This place is SO easy to find off the A1, yet is so close to lots of lovely places like Richmond and Northallerton. It was really clean, had everything we needed and the living room looked out over green grass as far as the eye could see. It was such a cosy place, beautifully decorated and such a nice place to be and relax for a weekend. The fire was especially nice in the cold weather. We would definitely re-visit.

Well appointed and supplied terrace house, on north end of town. A bus ride to town center, but a walk to the Railway Museum.

We had a great stay in Darlington topped off with a day out in Durham only 20 minutes or so up the road. The property was clean, well presented and had everything we could have wanted for our weekend stay. Thanks to our hosts Sally and Jake for helping to make it a lovely weekend.

Lovely place to stay with a well equipped house that has everything you'll likely need. The check in was easy, just a coded box and no issues with directions, the satnav takes you straight to the door. Parking is plentiful and free and there are a few local shops nearby. The house is better than I expected and the photos don't do it justice, the main bedroom is larger than I expected. It was clean throughout with clear instructions and it had a fridge, cooker, cutlery etc. The owner left a bottle of milk which was a nice touch if you arrive late and need a coffee in the morning. All in all a great stay.

The Loft at Belvedere is a perfect hideaway. Beautifully furnished. Spotlessly clean with all sorts of little touches like a baby fridge with fresh milk and water. Copious fluffy towels and toiletries. Parking in the driveway. Highly recommended. Thank you Stephen.

Stephen's loft was in a very convenient location for attending two days of wedding celebrations at the Yorkshire Wedding Barn. His communication and responses were great. The loft was spotless with helpful extra touches such as tea/coffee making facilities and some milk and water in a mini fridge. We would highly recommend.

We stopped over for a night to break up a long drive. Fantastic location for access to the A1 and there’s a brilliant pub for dinner within walking distance. Super clean, and a welcoming host. Thank you!

Extremely warm, clean and comfortable accommodation with fresh milk and bottled water in a small fridge. Very private and secure with private parking right outside the building. The Shoulder of Mutton pub serves excellent food only 3 minutes walk away. It was the perfect halfway stop on our trip home from Scotland being only 5 minutes drive from the A1(M) motorway at Scott’s Corner. We highly recommend it.

So good we stayed here twice! It was exactly what we needed. Great location close to Sainsbury's, the train station and town centre. Very spacious and welcoming with thoughtful extras like a bottle of wine on arrival. It's an old house done up well with piping hot shower and a beautifully renovated kitchen. The host, Daniel, is very accommodating and responds quickly to messages. His customer care is what made this property our top choice in Darlington!

Daniel's place was clean, spacious and with lots of nice touches. He was quick to respond and helped us with queries that we had. Although we were staying only for a night, we had a great stay.

Clean, spacious and very convienient for the train station. Street parking is a bit busy, but that is to be expected in a fairly central urban position like this. Would certainly stay here again and can recomend to others.

It was the most welcoming and relaxing of stays and I would recommend it to anyone. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Charlotte was a great host and very kindly volunteered to pick me up from Darlington station even in the late evening. The space is very comfortable and well thought out with everything I needed and more for a stay - if I need to return to Darlington this is the first place I'd choose

Charlotte is a superb host - warm, friendly, considerate. She made me feel very welcome and at home. The house is lovely and the bedroom very nicely decorated with everything you could need. The bathroom is also very nicely appointed with a great shower! Its a short walk from the centre of town and there’s plenty of on-Street parking right outside the house. I couldn’t have asked for more.

This home is comfortable, the room is good, overlooking the street, cereal and toast breakfast was provided and you could put the heating on when you needed it.

This is a comfortable quiet pied a terre within easy reach of the centre of Darlington. My few queries were responded to almost immediately and in 5 weeks i had no issues.

I stayed at Zoe’s place for 5 weeks whilst I was working at the Darlington Hippodrome. Her apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood but still easily walkable into town – and only a 25 min brisk walk to the theatre. A well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, car parking space, internet and a smart TV all truly make her place a home from home.

Zoe's flat was clean, quiet, in a nice bit of Darlington and exactly as described :)

This place was great, me and my partner often stay in Air BnB' s when travelling. It had everything we needed to have a comfortable self catering stay plus the bonus of being very close to the centre of Darlington and surrounding areas. The photos on the site don't quite do it justice as the place is light and fresh with modern touches. I managed to get some work done whilst away too so perfect for business travellers as well as couples wanting a getaway. There were lots of local supermarkets too, so was easy to get our shopping when we arrived. Booking our stay was straight forward and the host was responsive. We would definitely stay here again :)

Ben’s place was AMAZING. Nothing was too much for him. We only stayed the night but were speaking about going back before we left!! Perfect place to go, to switch off from the real world.

Wow wow wow - just amazing. A complete off grid experience. This was just what I needed. I booked a night away, hoping to relax and get away from the busy day to day jobs.There is a beautiful log burner to keep cosy and the cabin itself is simplistic yet modern. Will definitely be back. Ben as a host was great too, he met me on check in and showed me to the cabin (you have to walk to it, which is so exiting) and he had lots of tips in the area and was quick to reply if I needed anything.

What a great weekend we had, this place is a lovely peaceful escape from busy life and Ben the host was extremely helpful throughout. Can't wait to stay again.

The cabin is the perfect get away for a chilled weekend. Amazing setup, nice and remote, yet close enough for a good pub meal. The cabin setup was super clean, comfortable and stylish. Amazing! We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is perfect (5 minutes from the station, 10 minutes from town). The hosts were so friendly and helpful with recommendations and very quick at replying to messages. The apartment was spotless and there were so many nice little touches - slippers and a dressing gown were provided for us all and there was a really useful information pack for us. The apartment was super cosy and everything we could have asked for. Can’t recommend staying here enough!

Fantastic, beautiful and stylish little terrace / cottage. Beautifully clean which always brings a smile to my face. We will be back to spend some more time at this stunningly presented little gem.

Emily's place is lovely it's just the right size so you don't feel on top of each other but you still get that cozy cottage feel with all the little extras. The underfloor heating was a dream, the bed was super comfy and the TV was easy to use. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night. The garden is also perfect for dogs but just be careful if you have an escape artist! As it is semi open at the back which leads onto an open field which is enclosed and has no livestock in it. Hope to stay again in the summer, when the weather gets better! 😊

This place is lovely. The hosts are very hospitable. The location is perfect and the room was very comfortable and has excellent decor. The only criticism I would have there is no lock on the master bedroom which I was staying in, as you may be staying with strangers this is a security/privacy issue which can be quickly resolved. Otherwise, the house itself is lovely, the shower/bath is good. Excellent kitchen facilities and towel and toiletries were provided on arrival. Thanks again.

Matthew was a good communicator, we had an easy check-in, the house was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The colour scheme was well thought out, and the house has everything you could need for a short stay, including books, toys for the kids, TV etc.

Matthews place was just the right fit for our family of 5. It was easily accessible and a short walk to the Tesco or Aldi and coffee shop as well. Matthew was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to my messages. He was also easy to work with when our plans changed and we needed to adjust our dates of stay.

Really comfortable stay and perfect for walking into town. Perfect.

Lisa’s place is well located in a safe and quiet neighbourhood yet less than five minutes from Duke Street with a fabulous selection of restaurants, bars and convenience stores. It is a safe 20 minute walk from the train station through the town centre. It is sparkling clean and had everything I needed and more for an overnight stay. Lisa responded very quickly to messages and will definitely look to book again if in Darlington again. Thanks Lisa!

Lovely flat, big windows and comfy beds

This place met all my needs and then some. Very stylish, clean and had all the little things that makes it feel like a home from home.

We had a lovely stay at this property. Communication with Lisa was very easy. The place was well equipped, clean and the shower was great. Good location being only a few mins walk to some local amenities and restaurants.

I read all the great reviews and was like I wonder if I'll have a great stay also. Here is yet another great review. Location is very quiet and peaceful, the house's amenities can make you feel like you're in your own cooking show, a supermarket is just around the corner, multiple gyms (even one with no commitment), and the train station is a walk away! Stayed for my second time. Great place

Our travel plans had to change and so we needed to find somewhere to stay in Darlington at the very last minute. Simon was fast to respond! Within an hour of making the booking enquiry, Simon had everything arranged with keys ready to collect! We arrived late at night which was no problem, there was parking directly across the street, and check-in was simple with clear instructions. We only stayed for one night and left in the morning, so we didn't have too much cause to use all the facilities. However, the large modern kitchen looks fantastic and appeared to have everything you would possibly need. The large bathroom upstairs is also superb, particularly the large walk-in shower with giant showerhead and the bonus of a roll-top bath option, also with shower attachment! Our room was tastefully decorated and comfortable, with clothes hanging space, and perfectly clean. All this for a super reasonable price. I'd definitely stay here again and happily recommend Simon and this place to stay.

Lovely house and great communication

Smart little house, some of the beds are enormous!! Two bathrooms which is really helpful if you have a full house. Very easy walk to the station and town.

Lovely house, great location, efficient hosts

Liz & Steve were perfect hosts for our stay. Fantastic communication from them & were available to contact if we needed anything during our stay. Louisa House is a great property with 4 large bedrooms. The beds were very comfy with nice bed linen also. The property is very nicely furnished throughout which made our stay extremely comfortable & homely. There’s two bathrooms, one downstairs off the kitchen & one upstairs which really suited our requirements. The kitchen is very nicely done with suitable places to eat at or even use as a workspace for laptops etc. There is also a dining table which we also used. The whole place was spotless from top to bottom. Check in/out was seamless. There’s ample on street parking right outside the property which was perfect. We will definitely stay again & would recommend to anyone. Thank you Liz & Steve for everything. Absolutely brilliant.

This as our 2nd stay here while working in the local area, the house is as before very clean & comfortable. Easy working kitchen for cooking & keeping clean. Comfy lounge for relaxing after work, if you have a Netflix account you can log into that on the TV. Quiet, safe area with on road parking outside the house, easy access to plenty of local shops, pubs & supermarkets. 15 min walk into town and all that has to offer. We took a 40min drive to the beach to cool off in the sea - 35° heat wave going on, back at the house the rooms in the back were fairly cool. All in all a great place to work or explore parts of the north east from. Great communicators, it's easy to have answers to your questions. Drew & myself were working in the area for a week, the house suited us to a Tee, location spot on for everything needed in a quiet, relaxed area. Easy walking distance to town or a short drive to a mix of supermarkets & eateries. Liz & Steve have created a clean, well organised & comfortable space in the house. Liz & Steve communicate really well as does their house keeper Laura, giving a warm welcome. Kitchen is set up for easy living, cooking your own food & a washer dryer (very usefull). The 2 bathrooms with plenty of hot water are clean & modern, on each floor makes for getting out in the morning easy. Comfortable living room with the choice of TV & Netfix allows for relaxed eveings in. All in all an excellant change from hotels, we would both highly recomend a stay here if doing your own thing is what you are looking for when in the area. If we are back in the area this place is 1st on our list Big thanks to Liz, Steve & Laura from Mick & Drew

Lovely big room, en-suite and guest area ..... well located for anywhere you could want to get to locally ..... and unbelievable value. Already booked for the next time I need to be on Teesside .... and looking forward to it!

Carol is a lovely host....and so is her little and v clean doggy Scamp. She was so welcoming, and the room & ensuite was immaculately clean and just what the photos looked like, and i had a great nights sleep. She was really helpful at giving me local knowledge to walk my dog and generally very comfortable to be around. Would defo stay again if i was in this area again. 😁

From the moment Carol opened the door I felt welcome. The room is stylish and comfortable and has a great view of the garden. Carol's hospitality and friendliness is well deserving of her Superhist status. There's a lovely space to relax with the TV and a cup of tea, and nothing was too much trouble. Carol and Alan gave great recommendations for local food and I really enjoyed my stay. 😊

Chris’ house is gorgeous, its very close to my dream home! Its spacious and comfortable, and Chris is very hospitable even though we were only passing through. And his cats are adorable. It’s was a lovely stay for our little family.

What a lovely place to stay. Good communication from Steve both before and during our stay and the location was perfect for our visit. The house is spacious, bigger than I had expected for a terraced house, and in a well kept and quiet street. I would definitely consider staying here again for future visits.

We had an amazing stay at Steve's place. The home is beautiful, clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is extremely comfortable and we loved the shower! Lovelly flat and perfect for a night away x

Excellent place to stay. Tremendous value for money. The place was sparkling clean above the level of even more pricey hotels. The apartment was immaculate and well presented. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure everything one could possibly need during their stay was available. Greatly appreciated the book the hosts left in the apartment with things like heating instructions. Being as I am not from the UK, it came in super handy. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. It was a great experience staying there and I would definitely look to book there again on any future trips. Hosts were easily reachable and very responsive. Appreciated the little Christmas touches in the apartment as I was staying over the holiday period. If I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would. Great little find.
