Great half way stop.

It's extremely clean and has everything a traveller would need. My husband and I were impressed with the comfort of their bed and felt at totally at ease. It's tranquil and safe. I would have liked shaded parking though.

When I arrived at the room I was told that it had been flooded. I was informed that alternate arrangements had been made. We were sortec in quick time with no mess or fuss.

What a great place Arista has - it's very clean and comfortable, with a huge room, large TV, amazing shower and a big very comfortable bed. The pics on Airbnb do not do the place justice. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Very nice for a sleep over on your way

We stayed over only for one night. The room was neat and tidy, comfortable bed and a nice warm electric blanket to keep the cold at bay. Secure parking behind the building and the host was very kind. A little expensive but we had a great stay over and Arista was very accommodating with us checking in late due to travel schedules that changed.

Very pleasant, neat and clean. Wonderful overnight stop en route to Johannesburg.

The rooms were lovely. The receptionist was friendly. Nice space for the kids. We enjoyed our walk to the local pizzeria. But the experience was not a good advert for Airbnb. We were asked by our host to pay an additional amount, due to wrong pricing on Airbnb website. Both we and our hosts tried to contact airbnb and they were unreachable.

The perfect Cape Town to Johannesburg stopover. I'll be back whenever I do this trip again.

Basic, but spacious and comfortable accommodation. Nice open areas for kids to play. It is right on the main street through town and there are a surprising number of trucks that drive past considering that the N1 would be a more logical route. However, the traffic reduced in the night and did not bother us. Safe parking at the back of the property. Good value accommodation.

Basic accommodation for our overnight in Colesberg. The loud trucks were a bit annoying along the main road, but friendly hosts and great local dinner made it a memorable stay.

We enjoyed our short stay at Die Kleipot, it's perfectly situated for a stopover between Johannesburg and the coast. The room was suitable for the family, clean and a good size. My daughter had lots of fun playing in the garden as well

So happy to have found this gem in Colesberg. The entire process, from booking to arrival and even making reservations for dinner worked like clockwork. Our room was spacious, well appointed and very clean. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant is a must - compliments to the friendly chef and his team. A definite recommended stop over destination

Professionally and very well run establishment. Lindsay and Darren are friendly, helpful, accommodating and very welcoming. They offer a host of facilities at very reasonable prices. We had a wonderful a la carte dinner and scrumptuous breakfast and had a really pleasant stay. Very well appointed room and bathroom with quality finishes. Highly recommended.

The Kleipot offers a welcome rest place on a long journey. It fills that niche very well. The accommodation was clean and attractive, the arrangements around safety, gate and keys simple and efficient. Thank you, we will use the facility again.

The place is clean and safe. Hosts are friendly and responsive. Deco is nice. When I booked the listing said it is a house but this is a room. The room lacks ventilation for hot summer nights. Air con/fan did not help. A Blue LED light that I could not turn of kept me up. The shower head is not great for those snobs who love a great shower.. like me. Because of these I did not enjoy my stay.

Our hosts were more then accommodating, and provided all possible to make our stay comfortable.

Surita went to the trouble of ensuring that we would be warm enough by providing extra blankets and providing a heater. This proved unnecessary, as we were very cosy.

Host had her mother in law show us the unit. Had I not paid I would have left but it was late when we arrived. There was no hot water or security provided. The entrance has a cemetery two hundred metres away from it and a church in front of it. Five hundred metres away is the local prison!! We only found that out in the morning when we saw all the orange overhauls of the workers in the nearby garden

see above. worth a stay if you are stopping over at Colesburg. If dining out in the evening go to the Platteland, we had a disaster at the only other restaurant in town.

The room is very compact with everything one would need for a one night stay. Charmaine was on hand to welcome us and made recommendations for dinner. In the morning we met her parents who look after the B&B.

Very good apartment close enough off the N1 and happy to say no road noise whatsoever. A perfect place to relax after a long day traveling. The apartment is extremely spacious with a separate kitchen area, and large bathroom. Spotlessly clean! Also nice to have airconditioning and some satellite tv. Mynhardt is very friendly, and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here in our way down from Joburg to Cape Town. We were really made to feel so welcome, and we had a very comfortable overnight stay - with a delicious breakfast to start our next day of road tripping.

We stayed one night en route to CX and found the place to be far bigger than what we expected, spotlessly clean with crisp white linen and towels and sufficient bedding to ward off the Colesberg freeze.

Chane is an amazing host. We got completely lost and she waited for us long after dark, spent time helping us find our way and even warmed up the food for us :) she is very sweet and friendly and we loved the place. Also we are traveling with dogs and the place is Doggy friendly:) I hope to have enaugh time for horse riding next time :)

A fantastic stay with an incredibly hospitable hostess. Within close proximity to Gariep Dam. A relaxed atmosphere which is perfect for the night over to break the long drive.

The rooms are clean and so beautifully decorated! The food at the restaurant is delicious, especially the coffee and the chocolate truffle at the end of dinner. It's spacious, and there is a lot of garden to wander around. I have been twice now and it hasn't changed a bit.

Place was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed our short stop over on our way to Cape Town from Petoria. l will definitely book there again.

We had a really lovely overnight stay at Die Kleipot. Lindsay gave us a very warm welcome and was attentive throughout our short stay. Rooms are very clean, modern, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Every facility. Darren cooked us a delicious breakfast in the morning which had us set up for the day. The wood burning fire in the hearth helped take the edge off the chilly morning and added to the cosy ambience. Definitely one we would book again!

Liana's place is ideal for a quick stopover between Johannesburg and Cape Town. Communication was prompt and smooth and our late arrival was gracefully accommodated. The place was spacious and clean. Our only issue was the lack of a bathroom door.

We stayed here for one night on the way from Cape Town to Durban and then again on the way back. The second stay was the same as the first - great. Clean, simple, quiet, great shower and a very comfy firm bed. Liana was helpful and friendly.

It was quaint, cozy and convenient. Everything was there, and the bed was perfect. It was quite chilly, and a heater would have been lovely but there were plenty of warm blankets on the bed. Very happy place

I had a comfortable stay here on my way from Cape Town to KZN. The flats are clean, and located just of the N1, which is very convenient to refresh for the long drive. Highly recommended to those who need a comfortable place to lay over with all the basic necessities. Thank you for the stay!

A little our of town, but very close to the N1 (not too close that noise is an issue) so you don't have to drive miles to destination. Perfect for an overnight, up or down the N1. Neat and clean, with all the basic amenities (fridge, microwave, heater for the winter, modern shower, kettle, milk etc.). Will stay here again. Recommended. Thanks to our host for a nice stay! Liana was very quick to respond.
