The room has it's own entrance door. It has a double bed, shower room and kitchen area (tea & coffee supplied) with fridge, microwave and single induction hob. There is a sofa, TV & table with two chairs. Our home is about a 10 minute walk to Claygate station. Trains direct to London Waterloo (35 mins) and Guildford. We can often help you with airport & other pickups (subject to availability). Claygate has several pubs and restaurants and a frequent bus service to Kingston (major shops).
Claygate has good local shops, pubs and restaurants and in addition to a frequent train service to London, we are within easy reach of amenities such as Hampton Court, Sandown Park, RHS Wisley Gardens and Chessington World of Adventures.

We provide cereal, bread and orange juice so you can make your own breakfast.
The room has it's own front door so you will have 24 hour access and you will not need to come through the house to access the room. We are happy for you to use the washing machine and tumble drier for stays of 5 days or more.
We want you to feel at home but we are generally around and can often help with questions and with local travel.

Our lovely bedroom also comes with its own small kitchen and shower room (sorry no bath). The rooms are in the annex to our main family home and have a separate entrance and off-street parking. The bedroom has a super king bed or this can be split into two single beds. Conveniently placed for public transport and we are near to Chessington World of Adventures, Hampton Court and Sandown Racecourse. There is also a second bedroom in the annex. Hinchley Wood has a small shopping parade with a local supermarket, two coffee shops, an Indian restaurant, newsagents and a few other shops. Esher is a short bus ride away where you can find lots of lovely places to eat and Kingston-Upon-Thames is 15 minutes bus ride away in the opposite direction.

I provide all the basics for a simple breakfast including croissants, jam, butter, cereal, tea, coffee, milk and orange juice.

If you like a countrified setting but just 30 mins to central London by train (15 mins to Wimbledon), you'll love this flat because of the quiet location with a large garden. It is 2 mins drive from the town of Esher (and shops) and 5 mins by bus or taxi to the train station to London (Waterloo). The location borders on National Trust parkland. The flat is on the 2nd floor (no lift) There is ample, free parking 50m away. The bedroom is a genuine double room en suite. All bills included.
Supermarket is 10 mins walk - 2 mins by car. Esher shopping centre ditto with restaurants of all kinds
The area is full of parks and National Trust woodlands.
Taxis are easy to get. Access to Heathrow Airport is only 30 mins by car. Gatwick is approx 50 mins by car. (Both are traffic-dependent)
Please note that, although there is a bus service two mins walk away (once hourly) the train station (Esher - South West Trains) is not nearby for walking - its a 30 mins walk . However it is only 5 mins away in the bus, taxi or car and I am also happy to offer a lift to the station most days The town and shops are a 10 mins walk away or 2 mins by car..

A cosy twin bedroom in our family home - radio, tv and wifi - five minutes walk into Esher town centre, with a cinema, supermarket and shops. It is a short journey to Sandown, Hampton Court Palace, the Ember Court Police Grounds, RHS Wisley and Wimbledon. Parking is available.
Esher is a buzzing community with several restaurants, a cinema within walking distance and several places to explore on foot. Should you wish to have a 'flutter' with the horses, Sandown Race Course is within walking distance! Accommodation is handy for those attending or exhibiting at Trade Fairs at Sandown. There are some lovely walks in the nearby vicinity: Esher Common, Blackpond, Arbrook Woods and Littleworth Common. Garson's Farm is also a short ride in the car, where you can pick-your-own strawberries, mange tout et al. Or you may wish to visit The Medicine Garden, a small garden centre, boasting a variety of fayre. Within driving distance is Losely Park with their wonderful ice-creams; also in the area are several National Trust heritage sites such as Clandon Park, Claremont Landscape Gardens, The Homewood, Losely Park and Polesden Lacey all wonderful buildings of historical interest with fabulous gardens to lose yourself to!
Windsor Castle is an hour's drive away; why not visit our Betty and have tea with her!

The house is situated between Claygate Station and Esher Station. Both stations are a 15 minute walk from the property. The K3 bus stop is very close to the house and runs to Claygate, Thames Ditton, Surbiton, Kingston and Roehampton. There is good access to the A3, M25 and London (Waterloo Train Station).
Situated on the A244, access to Heathrow is 30 minutes by car and 45 minutes by bus, depending on the traffic. Gatwick is 40 minutes by car and an hour and a half by rail. There is easy access to the M25 and the bus route to Kingston Upon Thames and to Walton on Thames.
Guests have private use of a bathroom with shower and a lovely garden, where breakfast can be provided in suitable weather. Guests are also welcome to use the kitchen to make tea or coffee. A corner is available outside the bedroom should a guest wish to use their laptop and the printer - or perhaps have their evening meal/takeaway. We are happy to provide you with cutlery and crockery and a cup of tea too!

Price advertised is based on double occupancy (2 people sharing the king/ double rooms). Single occupancy bookings will incur an additional £45 surcharge to reflect the additional laundry involved.
Check in time is 3pm and check out is 10am. If there is nobody checking in/out on the days you check in or check out, I may be able to accommodate requests of an hour or so but this can only be confirmed a couple of days prior to the date of check in. Early check in/ late check outs of two hours or more will be charged an additional fee. This fee will be on a sliding scale depending on how much extra time is required.

We are located a short walk from Hinchley Wood station with its regular, direct trains to and from London Waterloo. From here you can easily access all of London's tourist attractions including Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and the West End with its world famous theatres.
The market towns of Kingston upon Thames, Richmond and Guildford are easily accessible by public transport and car from our home. The Rose, Richmond and Yvonne Arnaud theatres are renowned for their productions. We are also close to two of London's spectacular Royal Parks: Richmond Park and Bushy Park.
For those attending special events in the area, we are perfectly placed for accessing Hampton Court Palace and the Flower Show, Wimbledon tennis tournament, Sandown Park, Epsom and Kempton Park racecourses as well as exhibitions at Earls Court and Kensington Olympia.
Hinchley Wood itself has a small supermarket, post office, butcher, bakery, pharmacy, hairdresser, beauty salon and coffee shops for your convenience and there are further amenities in Esher, Claygate and Surbiton which are located within a 10 minute drive.

Unfortunately, our home is not suitable for disabled persons nor children under the age of 11 years. We have a young, very friendly beagle; she is not permitted to enter the annexe nor its private patio area but will use the garden.
The annexe is an extension to our own home so we are around to help if necessary. The fully equipped kitchen has a freezer, refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave oven in addition to the electric oven and hob. We have a tumble dryer which can be used on request. There is a variety of cookware but should you need any extras we can supply them. An iron/ironing board are also supplied.
The HD tv supplies radio networks in addition to tv. The lounge/diner opens into our lovely garden and there are private outdoor dining and sitting areas (we do not have a b-b-q). There is a rather special picnic set should you wish to have a day out. All towels and bed linen are supplied as are soap, shampoo and detergents. There is a hair dryer in the main double bedroom. It may be possible to accommodate one further guest if necessary for short term bookings but would like you to discuss this with us before making a reservation.
Our visitors have full use of the annexe and garden.
A 'Welcome Pack' awaits you on arrival so that you can immediately relax with a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits. At your request, we will complete a shopping list prior to arrival so that your refrigerator is already stocked (payment on arrival).
We will be around and about for most your stay without being intrusive. Our guest folder will give you as much information as we have been able to think of but should you need any further help please do not hesitate to ask.
