“If you arrive here 30 minutes before sunrise, you can experience a moderately challenging climb to the top of a fat rock and look down on the valley. Lots of graffiti, but not necessarily a bad thing. Watch out for critters as you trek ”
“This hike has amazing graffiti art, sweeping vistas of Simi Valley, and really cool/bizarre rock formations like a giant block of Swiss cheese and a tidal wave. Park at the north end of Kuehner Drive and hike east.”
“ The story Santa Susana Pass includes an ancient Native American trail, rock outcrops that were used as shelter by native people and the hair-raising stagecoach trips down the Devil's Slide. The sandstone bedrock gives a wide-open badlands look, used as the background for many western films and tv shows. Stay out of the railroad tunnels, as they are in use daily.”
“A great place for walking or hiking. The entrance to the old Los angeles to San Francisco stagecoach route is there. There are tennis courts, Indoor and outdoor basketball courts. Hosts a nice children's play area. Chatsworth Historical Society is also there (free admission, check for hours).”
