Great place for the weekend. We came up here Hudson for a wedding and Will's place was both affordable ad quaint.

We stayed at Will's place while visiting friends near Philmont. His place was perfect! We had a nice breakfast in town, at Our Daily Bread, and a short drive over to Philmont. Couldn't have asked for more!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour (un week-end) à Chatham. Will et de sa femme sont très accueillants et toujours disponibles pour répondre aux questions. L'appartement est situé dans un très beau village, à proximité de plusieurs services. Nous avons particulièrement aimé le café Ben Gable (excellent café, nourriture délicieuse et belle petite terrasse), le restaurant Blue Plate et le pub The People's pub (magnifique décor). Dans la région, à ne pas manquer pour les amateurs d'art contemporain : le magnifique parc de sculptures à Ghent (OMI Center), à une dizaine de kilomètres de Chatham. Et beaucoup d'autres belles balades à faire dans la nature (à pied ou en voiture). Les paysages sont magnifiques. Seul petit bémol, si vous avez le sommeil léger, sachez qu'il y a quelques passages de trains dans le village pendant la nuit. Prévoyez des bouchons d'oreilles, au cas où. Sinon, l'environnement de l'appartement est très paisible.

It's a beautiful space in a special area. We felt right at home! Highly recommended for both big and small groups. Lots of space to spread out.

Any's place is beautiful - a converted barn that doesn't feel like the inside of a barn. Andy's communication skills and effort to enhance our experience were exceptional. We highly recommend Andy's place, especially for larger families or groups.

We stayed at Andy's place with another family and kids for 2 nights quiet reunion. All in all that was a great experience. The place is amazing and the surrounding area is very pastoral with seemingly endless trails, green, pond and creeks. Andy was a great host, a pleasure to talk to and clearly a hospitality expert. This is a true Airbnb jewel and highly recommended!

We absolutely loved Andy's barn! It is just charming and beautiful, and so peaceful. Andy himself is a great host- communication was very clear, and the house was as represented and really exceeded our expectations. I can't recommend it highly enough, it was a perfect getaway, with the charming town of Chatham close by and Hudson not too much farther off.

Andy's barn (Angel Farms) is a wonderful getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. The place is a great country getaway. Andy greeted us and told us all about the area. He even took us through a tour of his beautiful country home. The barn had plenty of space for us. It was very clean. Rooms are quaint and comfortable. We also took advantage of the hiking trails that were on the premises. We were there for a 50th birthday party and, there was a balloon and card waiting. If you are looking for a country getaway, this is the place to go.

What a pleasant spot for a country getaway! It was a calm and private location to come back to each evening, as well as to relax in; we truly felt at home. We found everything we needed in terms of kitchen equipment and glassware. One of our evenings, we chose to stay in and grill, it was all so easy to do there. The bedrooms and bath were similarly well appointed: it honestly felt like visiting a friend's home-- a friend who had thought of everything. Host Andy is an above-and-beyond guy! From our initial communication (friendly and immediate) to our interactions while there (available for questions or problems, but never hovering), he was terrific. An added bonus for dog lovers, the well named and well behaved Thor bounded over to greet us each day. We just loved him! The back deck is a nice place to lounge. Inside the barn there are ample areas for conversation, in addition to a nice big table. One of our evenings, there was a thunderstorm...and I can't think of a cozier spot to have watched it from. The words that most come to mind, looking back on our stay, are comfortable, friendly, and relaxed.

Andy's home at Angell Farm is truly amazing. We had a wonderful experience spending three days there. It was relaxing, peaceful, and stunningly beautiful. This is the perfect place for a retreat into the woods. If your fortunate enough to meet Andy during your stay, you're in for a real treat. He's literally the perfect host. We were on a "working vacation" but I hope to come back and explore the endless fields, trails, and wildlife around Andy's property. Chatham is a great little town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bakeries. Couldn't be happier with the experience!

Andy is a warm and gracious host. The barn is charming, the grounds and trails - magical, the star-filled sky - still see it when I close my eyes at night. We loved our stay! Thank you, again Andy!

Jennifer and her home are absolutely amazing! Her home is full of vintage charm and natural light, making your stay feel like a retreat for your mind & soul. Jennifer provided us with locally baked bread, fresh picked strawberries, and amazing coffee! The back porch provided a wonderful space to decompress after a long travel day. The town of Chatham was a wonderful backdrop to Jennifer's home, quiet and beautiful, offering lots of great eats. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We have the loveliest time at Jennifer's place. It was clean, well-stocked, cozy, and charming. She was such a great, communicative hostess, and she even left us delicious goodies to tide us over on our first morning. This was such a perfect place to relax and unwind, and the town of Chatham is a gem (as are the towns surrounding). We loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

Jennifer's place has a very special vibe to it. It is the most antiquey house I've ever stayed at. The push button light switches and the clawfoot bath tub take you away to a much earlier time. My stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Jennifer goes the extra mile to ensure the warmest hospitality. Highly recommended!

Just returned home from a stay at Jennifer's place. This home is like a pair of comfy pajamas ... one could stay in them all day! My family did not find the train noise to be bad at all. Everything was just as described by Jennifer. The neighborhood is exceptionally quiet and the yard a delight! We loved the charm and openness of this little house and everyone agreed that when we return to Chatham this is the place we want to stay at time and time again!! Jennifer's house is beautiful -- I loved the original wood detailing and windows throughout. Amazing deck and backyard. Very close to the center of town. We had a really peaceful stay. Jennifer kindly provided coffee, strawberries, milk, and fresh eggs from her chicken.

This is a little gem of a house. It matched up to its description and photos but was even better. It was very clean and organized and had just what we needed. The host, Jennifer was generous and thoughtful about everything. She was immediately responsive to any question I had. The house is on a beautiful street and walking distance into the quaint town of Chatham. It is also close driving distance to many places to explore in the Hudson valley.

Mayo's home is the perfect nature oasis! The space is very open, clean and zen, and Mayo was very knowledgeable about the area. We visited farm stands, hiked, and went to nearby Hudson for dinner. If you're visiting the area, we highly recommend staying here!

We loved our time at the farm! It was the perfect weekend trip and Mimi and Richard were such kind hosts. Not to mention the baked goods in the farm store were absolutely delicious!

Little Ghent Farm is an incredible place to stay at when traveling to the upstate NY area. Mimi and Richard are phenomenal hosts who have taken careful steps to create a retreat that is outstanding. Five stars across the board and would return again and again! Don't pass this experience up...your soul will thank you as it nurtures all of your five senses and then some! You can even take the splendid eggs, meats and assorted pastries and breads home that are made all right there on the premises. We even purchased two great handmade wooden spoons from the trees at the farm. Enjoy! P&S

Mimi's farm stay was exactly as advertised and confirmed by all the positive and amazing reviews on airbnb. The farm was beautiful and the apartment was relaxing, cozy, comfortable and a perfect weekend escape. Mimi/Trish's food was outstanding. We couldn't get enough! We had a fabulous time at Mimi's place. It is a gorgeous farm and the farmhouse is modern, clean, and there was ample room for me, my wife, and our baby. Mimi was a gracious host, easy check-in process, very flexible. We enjoyed our strolls on their property (gorgeous) and around the neighborhood. The store offers farm-fresh organic goods which you can easily purchase for a tasty meal/snack. Mimi even prepared us a delicious meal ready for our arrival. We highly recommend and hope to go back.

We had a lovely stay with Mimi and Richard. The farmhouse is simply and impeccably designed, and Mimi was extraordinarily helpful and communicative before our arrival. Both Richard and Mimi were around for questions during our stay, and made us feel at home and comfortable. The whole farm site is a designer's dream, with the added elements of quaintness, farm animals, and fresh air. We would have liked to have had that little something extra (maybe breakfast) considering the cost of the stay, but that should not deter anyone from staying here. There is a full kitchen to cook on your own, there are delicious treats for purchase right on site, and there is much food to experience in Columbia County. There are farmer's markets and other farms to visit as well. We recommend you bring a cooler so that you can collect and store any delicious items from the area during your stay.

Highly recommended! Contemporary/rural decor on a charming farm located near Chatham, NY with Hudson and Hillsdale a 20 min drive away. Mimi and Richard are gracious, engaging hosts offering a lovely apartment, fitted for a weekend or longer, comfortably for 2 people. Walk the farm to visit the chickens, pigs and high fields for a Catskill Mountain view. Most special is to cross the field from the apt to the farm store for fantastic fresh farm food, sweets, breads, chutneys, meats, soups...all available for purchase to use for a meal at the apt or to take home. I cant wait until my next visit, thank you Mimi and Richard!

My wife and I had a lovely stay on Richard and Mimi's farm. The space was very romantic, with clean lines and warm touches. Everything was exactly how we had hoped. The food from the farm store was superb! We especially like the ice cream sandwiches (so much so, we got them on 2 separate occasions). Mimi and Richard were wonderful hosts.. as well as their two staff members. Upon our arrival, fresh cut flowers from the garden were delivered to us! We even got to help collect eggs from the hens. It was exactly the R&R we were hoping for. We are so happy with the hospitality we received from everyone! Thank you Mimi and Richard + crew! We cannot wait to return!

This home is a fabulous update of a barn design, wooden pegged beams, open spaces, yet modern conveniences, kitchen, bathrooms, anything you want. The setting is serene, down to the fireflies that light up the night. Easy drives to walks, attractions, and restaurants. It was perfect for college friends to catch up, relax, and wish we could stay longer.

The house is absolutely beautiful - we fell in love as soon as we saw it! Carolyn and Evan are excellent communicators and made everything easy to book and find once we arrived. If you are looking to stay near the Hudson Valley I would highly recommend staying in their home. We had more than enough space for four couples (even if one of them did join last minute!) with three large bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, and a large open floor plan common space and deck. I hope we can visit again soon!

Our last night there was a clear night and we sat on the back deck checking out the Milky Way and all the stars!

I could not recommend this property more strongly. We have stayed in Airbnbs around the world and right down the road from this house, and this property is the best we have seen. Great indoor and outdoor space, beautiful inside and out, well-appointed, helpful hosts. We had a great time as a couple with two kids, as there was plenty of room and great hanging out and entertaining space.

I don't normally book places that don't have any reviews yet but I'm so glad that I took the chance on this house! I had such a fantastic stay at The Barn. The house was exactly as pictured and so so lovely. It was clean, very nicely decorated, and the whole property was gorgeous and tranquil. My friends and I cooked in the well-equipped kitchen, did yoga on the deck, and sat by the fire (which was a little difficult to figure out but Carolyn was very helpful and took us through it step by step). The beds were comfortable, the showers nice and hot, and there were a lot of little details that made the house special. We drove into town a few times for groceries, brunch, and to check out the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival. Carolyn gave us some great tips on places to eat - so delicious! While we never actually met Carolyn, we couldn't have asked for a nicer stay with nicer hosts. I will definitely be back!

The Barn is a secluded vacation home within reaching distance of the city, but far enough away that one can hear only silence and see stars in the night sky. The decor inside is very tasteful, and the home was very liveable during my and my friends' stay here. There is plenty of things to do outside of the home to unwind and decompress. I hope many people stay here in the future and enjoy the space Carolyn's created.

¨The Barn¨ was the perfect home away from home to enjoy a vacation with our adult children. The photos do not capture the beauty of the home and outdoor fields and views. Everything you possibly need is provided. Even though the house is secluded it is only 15 minutes from quality restaurants and shops. The Barn is a perfect haven to relax and rejuvenate.

I can't say enough about this listing. The property is magical -- gorgeous and so well-maintained. The cottage is simply wonderful and comfortable in every way. We spent a weekend there with our three children, ages 13, 11 and almost 7. The kids loved the beautiful pool and exploring the meadow and the brook, finding waterfalls, seeing chipmunks and deer, and walking to the lovely pond. The kitchen was very well-equipped, the fridge was stocked with basics, and there were fresh flowers everywhere. I'd let Ralph know that our family was gluten-free in advance, but we were so surprised and delighted that our hosts had left a plate of gluten-free treats for us when we arrived. The wi-fi worked well (which was good, because our AT&T phones had no service in the house), and the sheets and towels were lovely and soft, the shower pressure was great, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Total perfection! We are so grateful for Ralph's hospitality and can't wait to return. This cottage sets a very high bar for what a great airbnb experience can be. Many, many thanks!

I wish we could give the Carriage House 10 stars. It exceeded expectations - our family high-fived each other the second we got out of the car and saw the Carriage House. The house and grounds were absolutely beautiful. There was fresh produce, veggies and scones waiting for us when we walked in. The house was clean and welcoming, loaded with fresh flowers. We really can't say enough good things about Ralph's place. We would stay again just to spend time in the pool! Anyone looking for an awesome getaway - I would highly recommend the Carriage House.

the description of the place and area was perfect. the accomodations were everything we expected. this was our first time to the area and we will definitely return. privacy and access to the property, pond, pond house and firepit were a highlight. we celebrated thanksgiving with our children who live in nyc.

It was wonderful to see flowers in every room, that the house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with delicious breakfast pastries.

This was our second stay at the Carriage House in the past 10 months and it was an equally enjoyable and relaxing stay on the property. Whether it is relaxing poolside, warming up by the fire pit next to the pond, or going for a leisurely hike on the expansive and immaculately maintained property, there is something for everyone at every point of the day.

Ralph is clearly an experienced host as he did not leave any detail overlooked. There were fresh linens, a full kitchen with proper cooking utensils and even a few goodies + fresh eggs/milk in the fridge. The property is absolutely beautiful and the surrounding towns are very activity-filled and close by. Highly recommended.

This was my second visit to Ralph and Donna's and both stays have been exemplary. The Carriage House is a wonderful retreat from everyday stress where no detail is overlooked! We had an amazing stay at the Chatham carriage house with Ralph as our host. The house and grounds were beautiful. We arrived to a quiche in the fridge and other items for breakfast. Ralph also had a blanket ready for our nighttime picnic at Tanglewood. The artwork in the house was beautiful. We really enjoyed the pool, hammock, and forest trails. The location was convenient to the towns in western Mass. Ralph was an outstanding host and we would love to stay in Chatham again in the future.

Absolutely fantastic location! It’s quite rare to find a property which is so easy to get to, but has nearly zero road noise or any other kind of noise. It was incredibly peaceful with 2 large tracks of lawn and plenty of outdoor space. The bathrooms were nicely renovated and the kitchen was fantastic with all the cookware, tools and tableware you would need for entertaining. The farmhouse itself is huge, comfortable and well taken care of; though the outdoor areas and furniture are a bit more rustic.

Bret's farmhouse is the perfect place to get away. The house is set on such a spacious, quiet and beautiful property that you'd never know you're only ten minutes from I-90. The yard is ideal for bocci, frisbee, or croquet, and with a backyard patio complete with a grill, this house is perfect for groups who enjoy the outdoors. Bret is an accommodating and thoughtful host, and was available to answer any questions during our stay. Thanks again, Bret!

Bret's farmhouse was perfect for our group of 9. While cozy, it had plenty of room, and the living room/great room was ideal for hanging out in front of the fire place. Bret was very responsive, which made for a great trip. I highly recommend it!

Our group had an amazing time at Bret's lovely home in upstate NYC. The house is even more beautiful than what the pictures and description suggest - you can tell Bret and her partner put so much thought and love into building this home. The kitchen is huge and well stocked with all cooking essentials, the bathrooms are gorgeous and modern, the living room has a huge leather sectional couch (and roku tv!) for hanging out, and all 10 of us slept comfortably on a combination of beds and trundles. We also made great use of the surrounding area, going for a hike recommended in the house guide and ending one of our nights around the firepit in their backyard. All in all a great stay - thank you, Bret!

We had an amazing time in Bret's secluded house. We stayed for 2 weeks and had plenty of time to explore. The property is beautiful: there is plenty of space to walk, lounge, dance or run around or observe the variety of trees, wild flowers and humming birds!!! The kitchen is wonderful and well equipped for the serious cooks like us. The bathrooms are updated as described. But most importantly, the outdoor space was awesome for all of our meals. Bret is a great friendly host and is quick and effective communicator to answer all the questions or issues. The Joe pond is nearby and we really enjoyed it for swimming and walking and even painting, there is a beautiful 20 minute walk to reach the pond. We also went to nearby farms for vegetable, fruits and berry picking. We took trips to a few sculpture parks in the area - all 15 -20 minutes away. We also went to a few nearby lakes, and Philmont area High Falls, and even to North Adam's Mass Moca. If you are like us in love with green rolling hills of Columbia county, that is an ideal place to stay. Thank you, Bret!

The large country kitchen is a dream with a wonderful gas stove, well equipped cupboards, a good dishwasher, and lots of table space for a group like ours with four children (age 10 to 13) and seven adults. The downstairs room accommodated the children perfectly. There is lots of landscape to explore and to soothe the eyes. In our case, its proximity to Tanglewood and to good restaurants was a great bonus. If I were pressed to find a weakness, it would be the lack of truly comfortable chairs for reading in the living room, but we really did not spend much time reading.

Shannon's house is a hidden gem. An amazing older house is a warm retreat a stones throw from Hudson and not too far from New York City. Shannon was an amazing host and offered a nice breakfast, coffee, and tea as well as pointers and recommendations around the area. Would love to come back and would highly recommend a stay here to anyone.

Simple & cozy stay.

I spent relaxing 2 nights at the house. Shannon was an excellent host. She was super responsive and accommodating. I loved the historic characteristics of the remodelled house and the beautiful, lush & colorful front porch garden. I felt recharged and relaxed after the weekend. Highly recommended!

My stay at Shannon's place was lovely - very cozy bed with wonderful crisp cotton sheets - charming house, perfectly clean. I took a long soak in the tub with eucalyptus and a candle. I would definitely return.

Chris and Amanda were wonderful hosts. They were super helpful and available. You're in good hands with them. The cabin is an absolute joy a total oasis that we greatly enjoyed. The wood burning stove belted out the BTU's while we just lounged, relaxed, walked the dog and kickced back. The bedroom upstairs is comfy and warm and while we didn't used the swimming pond it provided a lovely backdrop. The area is wonderful to explore with a seeming endless network of winding roads. GPS in your car will go a long way. We found many hiking destinations and some lovely eateries. Chris and Amanda welcomed us personally. They provided detailed instructions to enjoying the house. You're in good hands!!!

Amanda and Chris were very welcoming. They checked on us to make sure we settled in but were never intrusive. Their home is just steps from the cabin but we never saw them except when they were delivering more firewood for us to heat the cabin. My husband and I like to cook and were pleased to find that the kitchen was well-stocked with most cooking essentials. The property was great and the pool, although too cold to swim in when we were there, was beautiful. Every morning and at dusk, there were several deer in the yard eating the fallen apples from the apple tree which was a beautiful sight to see. We would definitely return.

The place is lovely. The pool looks really nice even we didn't go swimming since the weather was cold. My kids love playing the instruments and had great time.

My wife and I (and our dog) had a great time at Amanda & Chris's cabin. Great location. Quiet (at the end of a dead end street), on a vast, beautiful property; at the same time close to many attractions and farms. Chris greeted us personally and warmly (literally, as he got the fire going right before we arrived!). The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools and pantry staples. We definitely want to visit again in spring / summer time.

My friends and I took a road trip and ended up staying with Tesha. As soon as I booked our stay, Teshna gave me directions on how to get to her place. She put our minds at ease with not really knowing what time we would arrive and made us feel right at home when we did! After restless nights and being on the road for 3 days, our stay with Teshna was just what we needed. My two friends and I stayed in the same room and had our own bathroom to share. It was very spacious and private. I ended up forgetting a pair of shoes on our way out and Teshna contacted me right away and mailed them out to me the next business day. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to a friend!

The beautiful, unique and well-maintened home was a wonderful over-night stop on a long car ride. The sound of the peepers lulled us to sleep, and the sauna was refreshing. Plenty of restaurants about 5 miles away.

A wonderful home, walking distance from town. The train does go by a few times a day, but we weren't bothered at all; we found it enhanced the charm. The house is updated quite nicely and our family really enjoyed it. The house was sparkling clean! We had everything we needed in the kitchen, water pressure was great, and the house was just so cozy and nicely decorated. MaryBeth checked in on us via email to make sure we were all right and we are already thinking about when we can go again.

We booked last minute to get out of the rain camping nearby. Lori responded quickly and did everything possible to get the house ready for us right away. We were very comfortable and had a great night's sleep. We appreciated the book of local attractions and restaurants. Excellent breakfast down the driveway across the street at Daily Bread.

The house is spacious and comfortable and could easily accommodate a large group . It is set in a secluded yard with a nice patio/deck that is up a narrow driveway to the top of a hill. It is very close to a main road and businesses but when you are at the house you wouldn't know it. It was clean and well furnished . We only stayed 1 night and didn't eat there as we were attending an event. We would consider staying there again.

The host was very welcoming and informative. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive. The house was clean and very comfortable and homey. it was spacious and our family was very happy with our stay there.

Lori was responsive and flexible with our arrival time. Quick walk to the drug store, and all of Chatham. Note that the driveway is steep, but it is large and has room for plenty of cars. Lots of shade in the summer, which helped keep the place cool (a big plus for us).

Lori was great and communicative. The place was better than advertised, clean, centrally located and cozy. Would definitely stay again.

I miss hanging with Ray already! He is a fantastic host and amazing, kind person. His home is beautiful, I traveled alone and had a really wonderful trip. Very easy to get into town as well from Ray's place.

Raymond's place was in a lovely setting, easy to get to, clean and cozy. Even though he was away, Raymond made sure everything was set up nicely and the downstairs neighbors were so helpful!

Ray's home was a great place for me to escape locally while construction was being done on my own home. Ray is a very good host, with everything I needed; great coffee, great view, and quiet place for me to get some office work done, but also central to visiting local towns like Chatham, Hillsdale and Great Barrington.

Hi, Raymond was such an incredible host from the time of me initiating the stay on line till I left his home. As soon as I met Raymond I felt very much at ease and comfortable as he has such a wonderful presence and energy about himself! He gave me "the space" as I needed and he was available when I wanted to ask questions, etc. Raymond's home was unique as it has a nice view and towards the evening lots of deer came up to his backyard and ate the grass and clover their, which I truly enjoyed! The bedroom and bed, were very cozy including the bathroom, living room and kitchen and very clean.. I slept great and there was plenty of hot water in the shower...In the morning Raymond had put out a great spread of breakfast items for me to enjoy and it was perfect..I was actually sad to leave as I felt so good being here! I would recommend this home and Raymond to everyone.....Mark

Darling little house with great outside space - fire pit and a great deck out back. Perfect kitchen for home cooking with a great fresh foods market down the road. Michael is very amenable to making the stay comfortable

Great home, very welcoming. Michael really lays it all out for you. The keyless entry system is amazing, really easy and super convenient. We got some great suggestions for places to eat and drink. Chatham is an amazing little town, perfect for an escape from the city. Enjoy!

My boyfriend and I had a great weekend here! Michael was amazingly accommodating, helpful, and communicative starting the weeks leading up to the trip all the way through our last day there. He was always just a phone call away and eagerly wanted to answer all of my questions, no matter how small. The house itself was so comfy and cozy. The kitchen was amazing for our cooking needs and the wood stove added an extra layer of heat and character! There's a train that runs behind the house, but it wasn't a problem for us and the space heater/fan gives off a good white noise effect if it's needed. We'd love to come back sometime -- the house was so cozy, we didn't want to leave!

Michael was a great host and helped make our stay perfect. He configured the place to fit the right number of guests and provided a lot of great input regarded the house and the local area.

The host was helpful a number of times before the rental began. He was upfront about the train noise from the nearby tracks. This is a new rental and he is trying hard to make it a good one.

A charming get away cottage, Michael's home is perfect for a weekend or few days escape. Very close to small downtown Chatham (drive, bike or walk) with fun restaurants, a local brewery, old classic movie theater and cute stores. Farms, berry picking & country roads abound. Michael was a very responsive host and attentive to everything and helpful with local tips for things to do and places to go. The cottage is full of old school charm with modern conveniences with wifi, roku, door codes, etc. We really enjoyed Michael's suggestion for a visit to OMI art center with it's outdoor sculpture park - great combo of art & nature. Blue Plate, another rec, was our fav dinner. Highly recommend!

I was producing an independent film shooting in Chatham and we needed housing for our actors. Michael's place was perfect. Very cozy and comfortable, clean, a great backyard, close to town, and plenty of space for multiple people. Michael was excellent at communicating everything we needed to know about the house up front and was available to answer questions throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this place! We loved our time at Susana and Jon's house! It's a warm, inviting, very comfortable family home, with a beautiful backyard (complete with regular sightings of young deer), a terrific kitchen and outdoor grilling/eating area, and a screened-in porch with rocking chairs that was great for morning coffee and reading. The house is just a short, pretty walk into the town of Chatham, which we really love, and the neighborhood is quiet but not remote. Wonderful for a charming, comfortable, quiet summer getaway in upstate NY. Close to plenty of towns and possible day trips.
