“An only ten minutes' walk from the historical city centre of Ljubljana brings you to a renovated Ljubljanica river embankment landscaped as a park. The park's name, Špica, translates as 'pointed tip' and refers to the embankment's pointed shape. In the past, Špica was a town beach. Due to its pleasant green surroundings and a large area paved with wood, it still attracts numerous residents and visitors wanting to bask in the sun on fine weather days.”

“Beautiful park which is located in the city center, next to National gallery and Museum of modern art. The Tivoli is the great place to visit if you are coming with kids or dogs, and of course if you just need to take a quiet walk around park. Rožnik is a nice wooded hill accessible by several footpaths and recreational trails from Ljubljana's Tivoli.”

“The present market, built by the architect Jože Plečnik between 1940 and 1944, was conceived as a two-storey range of riverside market halls following the curve of the river. On the side overlooking the river, the market halls were furnished with large semi-circular windows, and on the side overlooking the street adorned with a colonnade. The whole complex, reflecting Renaissance influences, was covered with a roof of massive concrete tiles. Plečnik planned to fill the gap in the range of market halls with a monumental covered bridge to connect the market-side embankment with the Petkovškovo nabrežje embankment, but the bridge, which was supposed to be called the Butchers' Bridge, was never built. - Actualy it was built recently - the one with the glass floor and statues on it :)”
