We were made very welcome by Guillaume's mother. The apartment is airy and bright with a fresh modern decor. Location is really nice too. It is on second floor and no lift but Guillaume helped us with our cases. Guillaume offered helpful suggestions on places to visit. We are happy to recommend this property.

We had a very pleasant stay in this apartment! It conforms to the pictures and description, everything is very clean in summary we are in it really well. We have not seen William long but it was a very good host available, welcoming and good advice.

Great little 2nd floor flat, perfect for 2 people, fairly high tech and well equipped. Guillaume is very friendly and helped us in with our cases. He also went out of his way to provide us with some items we requested. There is a coffee machine which uses cartridges which can be bought locally. The cooker uses electric induction heating which is very quick but takes a bit of getting used to. One pan handle is used for all the pots. There is no kettle but you can use the pans for boiling water for tea. The satellite TV is mainly French but there are some English channels such as Sky News in the higher numbers. Well situated for exploring the Normandy beaches and the Cherbourg peninsular. Carentan itself is an unpretentious town with a decent sized market. There is a nice walk along the canal, past the marina, crossing at the lock to come back on the other side. My wife and I had a very enjoyable short stay.

I stopped on my own in three AirBnB (budget end) properties in quick succession in Normandy and this apartment was the best by a LONG way. The entrance is just a doorway in a line of shops, so check this out on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) street view before you go for peace of mind (I still got the wrong end of the street on the day!). The location is as central as you can get (yet no noise on the night I stayed). The apartment is clean and has everything most people would want (or expect at this price).

The apartment is located on a small farm with geese, donkeys and horses and two playful dogs who are always happy when you come back or go out into the yard.

1 word: fabulous! We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it! Anne is a good host and very helpful. Also she speak English, that was for us very nice. The room is awesome, new, clean, quiet and big, the bed is comfy and the shower is like heaven. Also nice that we can park the car by the house. Across the street is a bakery and the restaurant just around the corner what Anne recommended, is also fabulous! We loved our stay and if we go again to carentan, we would stay here again!

It is well located (in front of a bakery and a few steps from the shopping street of the village). I'm glad I stayed a night in Carentan in Marion her place! Marion her apartment is located in the towncenter, it was clean and more spacious than I expected at the pictures. Sadly, Marion was only present for a short time because she was very friendly and helpful, a perfect host! She showed me the apartment, provided me with free WIFI, said where I could park the car and she gave me tips where I could go eat. The sofa bed was comfortable and it was very quiet despite its location. If I really have to notice anything, perhaps little too much light entering through the uncovered windows from the open kitchen. I would recommend this place for sure! Thank you Marion!

Tansy and Mike were welcoming hosts -trying to help our short weekend stay in Normandy to be as wonderful as possible. Prior to our arrival Tainsy offered to arrange for a car to pick us up at the airport, suggested trains to research, and even made arrangements at a very small car rental company in the next town. When we went to pick up the car we were told that they would not be open on Sunday (the day we were departing) but our hosts worked with them and arranged for them to open for us. The loft apartment was very cozy and had everything we needed for the weekend. There are many animals on the property so consider this if allergies are a concern. The gardens and grounds are lovely. Overall, this was a great place to disconnect and relax!

Chaleureux (poêle a bois) et confortable, il y a tout ce qu'il faut (cuisine équipée, linge...) au milieu de la nature et des animaux ! Tansy nous a très bien accueillis. Our experince was wonderful. To start, Evelyne was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. She welcomed us with a jar of homemade jam and, at the end of our stay, sent us away with local candy for our little girls. Evelyne was a wonderful host! The apartment was clean, well-equiped, and very comfortable. The themed decoration was a very nice touch, too. The location was great; it is right at the town center and has everything within two blocks (restaurants, bakeries, shopping, farmacy, souvenirs, supermarket, gas station, etc.). There is plenty of parking available right by the apartment. Despite the location, it was very quiet during the evenings and we did not have any issues with noise. It is also in the heart of all the historic places and has easy access to the highway. On one direction, it is a 10-15 minute drive to Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery. On the other direction, it is another 10-15 minute drive to Ste-Marie, Utah Beach, Ste-Mere-Eglise. We had a wonderful stay here, would stay at the apartment again if we have a chance, and highly, highly recommend it!

I will write in English as it is the easiest for me however the delight I partook in being able to speak French (Evelyne is also fluent in english) with Evelyne and Christian was part of this perfect experience staying at their wonderful apartment in Isigny. Evelyne and Christian were helpful and prompt from booking to end. We exchanged several messages and we may as well have been friends as they responded within minutes and always to help and with suggestions (once a response took an hour or two with time difference and it was still in the wee hours of the morning their time!) I will absolutely be back. Note that this is a brilliant location to travel around Normandy (or further!) and still have the charms of a delightful and quaint town. Everyone is kind and so courteous in Isigny. I loved looking over the square; like something out of a French love story. Je suis si heureux de vous avoir rencontré Evelyne. À la prochaine!

If you're going to see the airbourne museum or the chrlurch at st mere eglise - stay here! you can't get more central! also a good place from which to visit the d day beaches. the flat is split over 2 floors and has a big kitchen and shared space with lots of kids games. definitely recommend.

This property was exactly as described - actually, it was better than described. It's such a beautiful space enclosed within a lovely garden. The beds were comfortable and Anne had coffee, orange juice and wine for us along with some baked goods and chocolates! It’s on a nice quiet street and we were able to sleep with the windows open. There is a washer/dryer/ironing board/iron and what made my husband the happiest, an American style coffee pot! Anne is everything an Airbnb host should be - she is charming, kind, helpful and was available anytime we had a question. We felt like we made a new friend that we will always treasure. Carentan is a lovely little village with amazing bakeries, shopping and restaurants. It was close to everything we wanted to see in Normandy. Anne really made our first experience with Airbnb a great one.

Very good stay at Anne and her family. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly. Housing is consistent with the description. We stayed with a baby and a child 8 years. The greatest loved the lawn space, peacocks and play with the dog Obi. We had good weather so took advantage of the outside. Otherwise the interior was small for meals at 3-4. This accommodation is ideal if you want to radiate between the Mont St Michel, Cherbourg and the landing beaches. The price / quality ratio is very good for the region. I recommend!
