  • Gorgeous little spot for a romantic weekend away. Even better if you’ve got a runabout to explore the water ways or to go and grab dinner or lunch somewhere. Very stylish. Very quiet.

    Ingrid2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Dangar is a little haven and Leanne's shack was perfect for a weekend getaway. Communication was easy and she was very helpful, she even tried to help find alternate dates when we weren't able to stay the full booking. The shack was clean, access was as described, it was quiet and just what was needed. We enjoyed cooking up our dinner and sitting out on the front dock watching the boats and the train go past in the far off distance. We took the water taxi directly to the shack to arrive with our gear and food supplies, but the ferry home. Either way, both are easy. There is a buggy you can take from the ferry arrival spot if you are concerned about having too much baggage.

    Kristin2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time at Hampton house. What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your time with nature. We actually caught some fishes and also do BBQ there. Highly recommended :) will definitely be back there again very soon

    Bank2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay, it was perfect to celebrate our 3 year anniversary! Being so close to the water was lovely and even though it rained it was still so nice to just sit there and read and watch the world go by. As mentioned; you do hear the train go by every 15 mins or so but we actually quite liked watching it go past. It wasn't a terrible sound. If anyone is wondering, like we were, the spa is up near the house. But the boathouse itself was quite private, bar people going out onto their jetty every so often to take their boats. In all it was lovely, and just what we wanted. A very relaxing few days!

    Crystal2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a dream! If you’re thinking whether to book or not...do it right now!!

As many face school closures and shift toward remote work, we are a work- and family-friendly place. Gymea Cottage is a 2 storey cabin. The upper deck has an ensuite bedroom, lounge and kitchen, with a gorgeous veranda sitting amongst the tree tops. The lower deck also has an ensuite bedroom, with stunning veranda & views, but a more compact lounge and kitchen. However, this room is much closer to the spa. Whichever you choose, you can indulge in your own private spa and watch the stars.
There are 2 single kayaks on-site as well as mountain bikes which you can use at your leisure to explore the property. Pure Valley is nestled between the gorge of Popran National park with the spring fed Hominy creek running through it. Whether you want to go horse back riding, abseiling, quad biking, play golf, do yoga or purely relax - the options are nearby! Due to the remoteness of the location we recommend that you do all your shopping before you arrive.
Pure valley's 125 acres is set deep with in the gorge of Popran national Park. The property offers stunning walks through the valley floor & up into the gorge. The houses sit high above the tidal Hominy creek which flows into Mangrove creek & Mangrove creek flows into the Hawkesbury river. Pure Valley is surrounded by wilderness but has all the comforts of home.
  • Fantastic experience! My partner and I were looking for an escape from Sydney, and this was the perfect spot. Everything went smoothly, and Ingridy is a lovely host. The place itself is really well thought out, which makes it feel clean, fresh and comfortable. Like a getaway, but homey. We are excited to come again.

    Drew2020-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed this beautiful stay! It was surrounded by nature and having the kayaks down by the creek made it a nice touch. Thanks Ingridy for your hospitality. The hot tub was definitely the highlight and the house itself was clean and comfortable.

  • Caring, communicative host, and amazing private wilderness escape

    Matt2020-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Pure Valley is the perfect place to relax, unwind and be at one with nature. The recently renovated apartments are clean, modern, stylish and comfortable. Being able to sit on the deck listening to the birds, owls, frogs and many other animals, or sit in the hot tub under the stars sipping on a nice glass or sparkling. It really is the place to come if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city and want to be in the middle of NSW's beautiful nature. Ingridy is an amazing host; friendly, helpful, happy and good at keeping everything in check and ensuring your stay is seamless. Make sure you bring all your food/drink with you as Pure Valley is nestled far from any local conveniences, which makes the retreat even more special and authentic.

    Shane2020-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • An amazingly private retreat for a bit of R&R. The spa and the view is most certainly the highlight. Maps for walks in the room would be amazing but nothing to fault with this place. Will be returning soon!!!!

    Sonz2020-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • Pure Valley is the perfect place to escape, surrounded by beautiful lush greenery everywhere you look! We especially loved the spa and the front balcony where you can watch the birds fly by and listen to the creek flow down below. The host Ingridy was such a sweet lady and so super helpful giving us tips on local walks and bike rides. We loved our stay here and can not wait to come back with some friends and family!

Only one hour from the CBD yet it feels like another world. Watch the sun rise over the escarpment rising above the glorious Hawkesbury River and drift off to sleep to the rhythm of gently lapping waves. Come by ferry, water taxi or tinny to our car-free island. Curl up with a book, bushwalk, birdwatch, throw in a line or stroll down to the cafe for coffee. Perfect for writers, artists, boaters, photographers and nature lovers. Recharge and make memories!
A unique, restored private cabin right on the water. Recent renovations have respected the character of this rustic cabin. The cabin has air-conditioning electric blankets, high quality linen, ensuite bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, with full stove and cooktop, fridge, microwave and other appliances. There is a private balcony overlooking the river and downstairs another large shady deck with deck chairs where you can relax and hang out and a third small deck to the side which is like a little treehouse. Use the jetty if you are bringing your boat or would like to go fishing off the jetty. The cabin is three jetties down from Bradley's beach and a short walk to the Cafe, Bowling Club and main ferry wharf. Ideal for relaxing, swimming, walking, chilling, writing and dreaming. Views you would not believe! You will fall in love with this unique little home - it has a sense of simplicity and everything you need to just live. Enjoy the bush, birdwatching, cloud watching, river gazing and the stars at night! Leave your car on the mainland and take a complete break from your hectic lifestyle. There is one open plan living space with a queen size comfy bed and both a double and a single size sofa-bed which can be made up to accommodate kids or friends who don't want to share a bed. (See the pictures) Take the ferry over to Brooklyn and enjoy the cafes and seafood restaurants. The main train from the CBD meets the ferry and regularly runs throughout the week. If you want space to breathe and get back in touch with the rhythms of nature, this is the holiday you need. Its gentle pace, its light, its expansive views! So special, and the comforting thing is it's yours when you need it!
When I'm here at Dangar, I feel this place belongs to the birds, and I'm visiting their place. The birds own Dangar Island. There is a real community spirit among humans here on Dangar and a very open and inclusive culture. The first weekend I stayed on Dangar was just after Gay Mardi Gras, and on my Sunday morning walk I witnessed a bevvy of tutu-clad young fathers jogging with their sons in an event called the Dangar dash. It's like the human population are mimicking the "out there" dress sense of the island's avian inhabitants. Anyway, on the whole it's quiet, friendly and creative people who are attracted to island life. There's a bowling club for meals and events and drinks including Dangar open mike night and live gigs. There's also a Cafe seven days a week. It serves quite nice snacks including the famous Dangar Burger and good coffee. You can also buy provisions at the café. At the top of the island, there's a lovely bush walk with a stunning view and Aboriginal carvings and caves to explore.
  • The photos don’t do justice to the incredible view. Not a great location for anyone with mobility issues (a lot of steps to the road when the tide is in) but if that’s not you then definitely come visit!

    Denise2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara’s place is the perfect weekend getaway. Nestled within the trees and directly on the water it’s impossible not to relax. This is definitely a place for those who are content playing board games, reading a book and going for a walk. The cafe on the island serves delicious breakfast and the bowling club is great for an afternoon wine. It was the perfect way to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city and unwind in a beautiful location. The hothouse itself has everything you need and the bed is VERY comfy, perfect for Sunday sleep ins! The kookaburras are friendly and fluffy and let you get so close to them. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks for having us!

    Scarlett2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • We love this place. This was our second stay. It is really peaceful with everything you need for a great time. We spend most of the time on the pontoon. Caught a number of big bream fish and flathead, so dinner was sorted. When the tide is out the crabs are entertaining. The island is great, with a nice walk, lots of birds, cafe and bowling club. Barbara was great to communicate with and allowed us have a late checkout to extend our mini holiday.

    Rachel2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • The location is amazing, communication is great and the boat shed itself is lovely.

    Amanda2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Beautiful views over the water and a great place to relax for a few days.

    William2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time. So special to be right on the water. Great little boathouse with all that you need. Can’t wait to come back some time soon 😁

    Gabrielle2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara's and Glenn's place is an ideal, tranquil and cosy getaway. I recommend it to anyone who needs to put the hustle and bustle behind them.

    Jonathan2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed for 4 nights on Dangar Island with our dog with no plans other than to read, walk and splash around w the dog. We did just that. A few lazy walks around the island, some water time for the dog, a kayak and a fish for my husband and plenty of reading and drinking wine on the balcony. It was such a great space, perfect for the dog as well as he could watch the boats from the safety of the balcony and laze in the sun as he loves to do. Throw in the odd game of Yahtzee (there’s a couple of board games to choose from) and you’ve got the perfect little getaway. Glenn & Barbara were truly wonderful hosts who were easily contactable which was great as the island had been hit with a wild storm prior to our arrival however reassured us the boatshed was a ok. They also generously offered us a late check out which sadly we couldn’t take advantage of. We would definitely stay at the boatshed again! John & Paz (& Tim)

  • OH MY GOODNESS! This sanctuary is just what I have been dreaming of for months. I just wanted to be able to lay in bed and look out to a forest with all of the forest noises and lay in the sun on the verandah, get off the grid and soak in a spa which is my favourite thing to do. All my wishes came true. Ingridy the host is such a sweetie and completely thorough in her checkin and service, she certainly makes the retreat what it is and respects privacy. Seriously I had the best relax I’ve had in ages. I was so weary and fatigued from work and I have left the place feeling renewed and motivated. I have been dreaming of finding a place like this for well over 6 months. The quiet, beautiful birds noises, forest smells and the spa was my fav. Oh and the outside fire pits. The decor is lovely, it’s super clean, books and games to play, Foxtel. There isn’t a smart tv though but You don’t need it. You can hunt around for more firewood and enjoy nature. Everything basic you need to cook with. No shops close so bring everything you need to eat, drink, medicines and creature comforts. I will cannot wait to come again and am currently telling all of my friends how amazing it is.

  • Beautiful spot not far from Sydney. Great space, tastefully put together with living room overlooking the valley, feels like your in the valley. The jacuzzi with a view across to the opposite hillside is so relaxing, particularly enjoyed an early morning soak with a beautiful mist in the valley and the sun rising up over the hill. Locky was very welcoming and a lovely guy, there for anything we might need and not at all intrusive. Highly recommended.

  • From the moment we arrived, we felt like we’d found some hidden secret and we’re the luckiest of travellers! Beautiful, large and stylish house with tons of space, towels, games to play, FOXTEL for evening movies, and the hot tub to just put the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to escape city life and especially those who want to explore and delve into true Aussie bushland lifestyle. And the best hosts you could want for too! Wonderful. Thanks Kim and Lachie xxxx

  • It was a great stay with amazing location. The break up areas were quite good with the outdoor deck a perfect place to have a relaxing time as a big group. The location right in front of the river was very relaxing and was a great spot for fishing if you are into it. Xavier was a very good host with prompt reply for any questions I had and has been very helpful. Certainly would recommend this and we are looking to book our next stay here soon.

  • Incredible house for a large group of friends to gather in a beautiful and remote area. Isolated enough to be able to enjoy a noisy celebration without worrying and everything is cleverly designed to have a large group. Strongly recommend for your next gathering. Doesn’t get better than this place!

We have great views and fantastic bush walking trails, are close to Historical Wisemans Ferry and Windsor, Riverside Oaks Golf Resort, Peats Ridge Horse Riding and Outdoor Activity Center. You’ll love your stay at our place because of the ambiance, outdoor spaces, neighbourhood, and our own tennis court. My place is great for couples, solo adventurers, fruit pickers and business travellers. We are just a short 45 min drive to the CBD, or the Central Coast.
A gorgeous and relaxing property with fantastic views and chilled atmosphere. Friendly animals including a miniature horse, sheep and dogs to pet and play with should you so desire.
There is plenty around to see or do in the Hills and Hawkesbury areas and we would be happy to share our knowledge of the area with you.

This beautiful secluded property has un-interrupted water views spanning as far as the eye can see. The house backs onto acerage of native forest and has beautiful lawn areas to enjoy a drink or two whilst soaking in the magnificent views. If you are after a holiday house away from the hustle and bustle of the city this place is for you. The property is accessible by road. We DO NOT allow large groups of friends or parties here. Families are ok. You will have the whole property to yourself.
This house is located in Spencer on Wisemans Ferry Road. There are a number of local convenience shops within a 10 minute drive from the house but I would recommend stocking up on groceries before you arrive. The house has recently been renovated with a brand new kitchen, new flooring throughout, new furniture and a new paint job. We have also installed new ducted Airconditiong throughout the property and have installed ceiling fans in each room upstairs, this will keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. We are in the process of renovating the downstairs level but it is comfortable and secure. There is also a fire place in the lounge room upstairs. My father & I renovated this house from scratch and due to past experiences we are no longer allowing groups of friends or parties here. If you are after a party house this property is not for you and you’ll be asked to leave ( there are other airbnb properties that allow this so please find somewhere else). It's a beautiful/peaceful space and I prefer respectful guests who will take care of the property like its their own. Every guest must be put on the reservation booking. The price of this property is to accomodate water usage (we are on tank wanter and its very expensive to have it filled up given where the house it). Please let me know if you require firewood and I can arrange. The driveway is quite steep and can be a little rough but most cars can drive up. Pets need to be approved before booking, please message me if bringing a pet, thank you :)
This property is located in the quiet village of spencer. The area is known for its breathtaking views of the Hawkesbury river and mountains
  • Beautiful view, very clean and very quiet. Chris had very good communication and was very helpful. Make sure you bring all supplies and lot of books as not many activities in the area. The national park was closed while we stayed so maybe would be more to do with that open.

    Pip2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Above all else Chris was a very good host responding to our requests within minutes ! He made the place comfortable and he is extremely reliable. The place itself also gets a 100% rating because it’s just breathtakingly beautiful. Must be seen to actually believe. You will be overwhelmed as soon as you open the door. Just perfect!

    Mathew2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • WHAT A GREAT HOUSE! Great views! One outdoor verandah downstairs and another upstairs with huge windows. A fully functioning kitchen. Two toilets (one outside, but still very useful for a family). Three bedrooms which are separated, not neighbouring with very comfortable beds and bedding. A TV with Netflix and music for dull weather. Oh, and ducted air conditioning which was great in the late afternoon.

    Linda2019-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Chris’s place was wonderful, such a beautiful spot on the river and lovely decorated home. Chris was extremely helpful and quick at responding to queries. Highly recommend for a quiet weekend away.

A secluded escape just a 20 minute water taxi ride from Brooklyn, The River Cottage is the perfect place to relax and reset.
Surrounded by national park and nestled in one of the most secluded inlets of the Hawkesbury River, Marramarra Creek is truly one of the best keep secrets in Sydney. This north facing eco house looks across the water to the towering cliffs beyond, promising tranquility the moment you arrive. After arriving by water taxi or your own boat - The River Cottage is tidal boat access only - enjoy lazy days overlooking the water, fishing from the jetty, a spot of bush walking or a long lunch at nearby Peats Bite (www.peatsbite.com.au). The River Cottage has a double Queen bed in the open plan upstairs bedroom and two sofa beds downstairs and best suits a couple. There's a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, stove, toaster, Nespresso machine, BBQ, DVD library and iPhone/iPod sound system. The River Cottage is the perfect place to finish that book, start writing your own (Oscar-winning producers, writers and novelists have stayed at The River Cottage) or simply unwind on the private pontoon in the abundant sun as the pelicans swim by. Only 90 minutes total travel time from the Sydney CBD, The River Cottage is a world away from roads, noise and stress. Please note that the house accommodates two only (one queen bed) and there is a sofa bed that can be used for children/guests etc. The cottage consists of a large upstairs bedroom and downstairs living area on the water's edge with living room, bathroom and kitchen. Linen (sheets, pillow cases) is supplied however you'll need your own bath and hand towels plus any linen for additional guests if there are more than two staying. The River Cottage is boat access only, and water taxi bookings can be made via Hawkesbury Taxis (0422 300 100). Or BYO boat, or rent one in Brooklyn (www.brooklyncentral.com.au). Cost from the nearest pickup point (near Hawkesbury River bridge) is approximately $130 each way. Note that the River Cottage is situated in pristine national park and is surrounded by bush, meaning there is abundant life up there and all that goes with being in an isolated natural habitat. As the house is on a tidal part of the river and accessible by boat only it is difficult for us to respond to emergency requests quickly, but we'll do our absolute best. Due to the tides access may not be possible at low tides for up to a few hours. Our rental price is set to take into account these variables, so we ask you be conscious that a trip to Marramarra Creek is an adventure - and not with the things you may take for granted in a luxury beach house accessible by land! That said, all our guests fall in love with this hidden gem of the river and many end up wanting to buy in the area.
The settlement at Marramarra Creek is a secluded and peaceful enclave. Please respect the privacy of the neighbours and limit any noise or disturbance. And please - no jet skis.
  • What an amazing place to stay so peaceful and tranquil. My husband and i stay here for 2 nights for our 10 wedding anniversary and we could not of ask for anything else. Andrew offered us a free night accommodation on our 3 night which we stayed as we didnt want to leave this beautiful place and go back to reality. The bed was like sleeping on the clouds, the kitchen had condiments and everything we needed to cook with. The house was easy to find by ourselves as we take our own boat. I really hope we get to come back in the near future. Do not hesitate to stay there as you will not regret it. Thanks again Andrew for a beautiful house for us to stay in.

    Kristy2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place, beautiful location, extremely tranquil, would highly recommend for anyone wanting to relax, switch off or have a nice peaceful getaway. The place was lovely, stocked with movies and board games, we got really invested in one of the puzzles. Andrew was a great host; extremely responsive and was able to answer the many many questions I asked. Will definitely come back again!

    Samarth2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The secluded charm of this property is exactly as described - fish jumping in the river is about the only traffic we saw. We particularly enjoyed the thoughtfully curated selection of books and each read about three! Many thanks for a peaceful weekend stay

  • What can I say about this little piece of paradise. AMAZING!!!. The location and the house exceeded my expectations. The view was outstanding from anywhere in the house but the jetty was my fave spot to sit. We took our own boat and launched from dusthole boat ramp in Berowra. We found this route so beautiful and scenic and easy to get to the house. We explored the hawksbury, bar point and danger island. We fished right off the jetty and hooked a few. The house had everything you could need, there was also a good selection of board games, cards and puzzles. The bed was very comfortable. Andrew was an amazing host, very good communication and made us feel very comfortable. Will definitely stay again and would definitely recommend the river cottage to everyone I know.

We are a family run business that offers two unique ‘Tiny Homes'  for people to get away from a busy life style. This cabin is called Henrys hideaway. Collect fresh eggs from our chickens for breakfast, pick fresh herbs and vegetables from our garden to cook up for dinner, then enjoy a beautiful fire pit in our entertainment and BBQ area. Play some darts or sink some balls on the pool table. There are many bush trails to explore and we are pet friendly, both horses and dogs welcome here.
This is a new tiny home with all of the creature comforts. It is so adorable and romantic, listening to the birds and nature.
Canoeland's Orchards is 2 minutes away, pick your own fruit and vegetables. Enjoy the food and coffee at the cafe and visit the store to buy PA's Honey and many other items. Tractor rides available. Then take a drive to Wiseman's Ferry and visit the historical Wiseman's Hotel. Another great place to visit is the Stone House Cafe, only 15 min drive and has the one and only Canoelands beer.
  • Lovely, peaceful getaway not too far from Sydney. Highly recommended if you need a short getaway for some clean air.

  • Henry’s hideaway at liberty retreat was the perfect place to unwind and relax with our dogs. The property was so incredibly peaceful and the accommodation was cute and comfortable. The hosts met us on check in to make sure we were comfortable. There were lots of thoughtful touches for both our furry companions and us. I would recommend staying here.

  • Five star hosts and a cute cabin nestled in the mountains. This is a great place to relax, do some bush walking, feed farm animals, enjoy farm fresh eggs. The hosts will also pamper you with complimentary wine and chocolates on arrival. There are two cabins to choose from. There’s a common area with a pool table, dart board and barbecue. This is covered so it is enjoyable even when it’s raining.

    Sanjay2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Susan was incredibly hospitable and friendly, showing us walking paths and letting us spend some time with the animals. Escape to The Last Resort, an attractive single level house with deep water views and a shared pontoon. Boat access only - we provide you with your own little tinny. Marlow is noted for its all year round fishing and is the perfect place to enjoy boating, water sports, bushwalking or to simply escape from it all. Harmonize with nature, enjoy the spectacular sunsets and the tranquility, only occasionally broken by the abundant bird and wildlife. Featured on Channel 7 Great Outdoors in 2001.
Serenity abounds, inspiring poets, writers and artists. Little friends to visit the front verandah (kookaburras, ducks, bush turkeys, Boots the dog). The house is supplied with mountain spring water. Brew delicious tea and coffee, and take relaxing showers after swimming on the private beach. Cook your fishing catch on the gas BBQ under its own balcony. Keep cool with air conditioning in the main room.
Across the river, Spencer Village stores offer provisions and supplies, light meals and for the indulgent, a great cappuccino!
  • Great location Great fishing

    Sue2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The property is in a remarkable spot on the river. We had a peaceful weekend, kayaking during the day and watching the sunset in the evenings. So relaxing.

    Kirsten2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in the beautiful natural environment. There were some bugs in the house, but they were nothing compared to the previous airbnb one. It can be understood by the Australian environment. It took only five minutes to get to the boat provided. This tinny boat driving experience was good, too. We had a hard time saving water, but it was also a good memory. Thank you for good staying. Thank you Weller.

    changyoon2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect spot for a break. Quiet surrounds and stunning views. We loved our few days at Last Resort. Everything you need to wind down, rest and restore. The boat was a huge hit and we loved exploring the water ways and doing a bit of fishing. We’ll be back!

    Lyndal2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Spent 2 nights and was nothing short then amazing especially with the view. Having a tinny was an extra bonus and really came in handy with fishing, even though we didn’t have any luck. Reception was horrible. I’m with Vodafone and only got some signals out on the water but my partner is with Optus had notice he occasionally getting a bar in the house. So be prepared for a lot of down and peaceful, quite time. Thanks again Weller for the stay 😊

Architecturally designed new home on the beautiful Hawkesbury River. The house has sweeping views of the river and Dharug National Park from every window, including the two story glass facade. It features a large in built spa on the deck and a vibrant lounge with fireplace. *Please note this is a quiet neighborhood and we would appreciate if you are respectful with noise at night. We have been experiencing a lot of parties at the house and it is hard on the neighbours*
Large heated spa on deck, fireplace in lounge with sweeping views, super king sized master bedroom with private deck and free standing bath, fully stocked galley kitchen overlooking the river.
Beautiful quiet country escape only 1.5 hours from Sydney CBD or 1 hour from the Central Coast. The town of Wisemans Ferry is 10 minutes drive which has 2 great historic pubs, cafes, golf course and other amenities. Alternatively the Wombat Café is walkable distance serving fresh tasty food. The Hawkesbury Region has lots of activities to keep guests occupied, including wineries - and ofcourse boating.
  • Gorgeous relaxing space, I wanted to sell my house and live here instead! It was beautifully styled, very cosy and had everything needed for a great stay. The jacuzzi was amazing and views from the master bed and ensuite just stunning, I really enjoyed waking up here each morning. Hope to stay again soon! :)

  • Beautiful cosy home with amazing views, enjoying some sunset drinks in the hot tub was an added bonus. Very quiet neighbourhood, lots of natural light and comfortable beds. Great hot showers which can sometimes be hard to achieve on tank water! We were provided with plenty of spare linen for our extended stay and will be staying until the end of the month!

    Keirra2020-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • This house is absolutely gorgeous. Had a nice, relaxing weekend here. The king sized bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable, and the hot tub was a nice added bonus. The stairs to the house are pretty steep, but once you get inside it’s worth it. Katy was an amazing host, very communicative and went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs during our stay. I absolutely would stay here again!

    Deandra2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place for four girlfriends to catch up and relax for a couple of days. Once there we didn’t move - we read, relaxed and chatted for 48 hours. The house is very clean. Beds are comfortable, showers are great and bathroom has everything you need (plenty toilet rolls 🤣) for a couple of days. Katy was really lovely to deal with.

    Karen2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place is beautiful - more beautiful than the pictures suggest. The whole house showcases the stunning view, while inside it is stylish and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for more. We made early starts, spending the mornings outdoors, which I would recommend, but if you like to sleep in you may want to bring eye masks as at the time of writing there are no curtains.

An island style escape - Stunning oak A-frame Waterfront home Accessible by water only! The house has proved to be a great success for extended families, for families who wish to entertain their overseas guests or relatives or just for a great family holiday to spend some quality time with family or friends. There is something to do for all ages. Fishing, kayaking, boating, walks or just take in the wildlife, serenity. water views and clean air (no cars on Barpoint)
I am not offering accommodation…I am offering a lifestyle/ holiday resort that only the very rich can afford but who don’t have the time to enjoy it. Perched only 60 metres away from the private jetty, the home itself is an entertainer’s delight. It melds perfectly to be what you need it to be - fantastic fishing cabin for a weekend away with the boys, base camp for exploring local wildlife, beach house with plenty of areas to relax for a weekend escape, clubhouse with games, firepit, pool table and ping pong for a family tribe on school holidays. My dream with this home is to provide a space which caters to anything you could wish to do in this pristine location. And, I have to say, so far, so good. Assuming you are lucky enough to know some millionaire, who will give you their holiday house FREE for a weekend, You will still be more out of pocket if you had to hire the kayaks, wash the linen farm out the dogs to kennels, pay for fire wood and leave a small gift to say “thank you” and live with the debt that you may feel you owe them… Don’t bother.. You don’t need them anymore. You have it all at my house...and to annoy them, just invite them for a BBQ.. You can even offer to pick them up on my boat..!! And if you are generous enough let them stay overnight telling them they don’t have to wash the linen when they leave. Unfortunately, it still cost quite a bit to stay here (and will stay so until my bank manager lets me off my mortgage repayments…don’t hold your breath), however if you take the cost of heating your house, going to restaurants, kennelling the dogs etc from the cost and divide the remainder (if any) between 2 full families, 4 couples or 10 friends you will realise just what good value you are getting. No cars on the "island", no traffic no smog just pure air and great views.. The front yard is the river where you can fish ski kayak ... The immediate back yard is enclosed and comes with an outdoor shower, BBQ and a Huge fire pit. On the other side of the backyard is the Popran National park where you can hike, walk down the only road (or path) Kalinda road, get some free fire wood or just take in the nature. If the bush is a bit rough for you then walk on the grassed reserve in front of the house which is more of an extended garden than a reserve. Visit the local Post office and see how post offices were some centuries back (open 24/7) You can even fish from the post office when the postman has gone. Visit the historic Bar island with the church ruins and grave stones (boat access only) or simply explore the waterways with your boat or mine. Now for something different How often have you gone shopping or to restaurant by boat??? Now is your opportunity with numerous shops, restaurants and bars that can be accessed by boat. There is something for all. All you have to do is book early to ensure no disappointments
Bar Point is located in the Popran nature reserve. Many houses are occupied by full time residents. Due to the water, no cars and any commercial activity, the place is extremely quiet and peaceful, so much so that if you are quite you will hear the fish jumping in the water and the tides lapping on the shore from the balcony of the house .Noise seems to carry very easily in this area and hence we ask our guest to keep it low after 10PM.
  • A spacious clean fun house with an obliging host right next door

    Flavia2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • David was a great host who helped us throughout the stay without a second notice. The location is stunning and great! Definitely recommend the VIP package!

  • The house is spacious, percect for families. There is a spectacular view of the Hawksbury River from the large windows in the living room. David was very friendly and hospitable. It was an overall relaxing experience and our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation here.

  • David’s place is located in the most beautiful spot, the view is everything you can hope it would be. The VIP package is a delightful addition. So unusual to find a house this size with 5 double beds (and not bunk beds) excellent! David was thoroughly helpful and friendly host. Excellent entertainment area, pool/air hockey/cards table/fire pit. It’s great.

  • WOW! What a grea place and David is a legend himself. We will be back

    Christopher2019-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Just got back from two days escape holiday. The place turned out to be even better than it looked on the pictures. Location is beautiful, house is spacious, and it has everything you would like to have: from all nessesities like shower towels, glasses etc. to American pool, ping pong and buggy car! One more amazing thing about the place: The boat! Highly recommend to get it. It’s so good: comfy seats for 6-7 people, place holders for sparklin wine or other drinks, breez and some music on board - it was just perfect for celebrating my 30th anniversary. Btw, no license needed for that boat. All in all it was an amazing holiday. Thanks a lot David. We are going to come to see you again very soon!

  • Be prepared to be lost in the serenity and creative space of Jacqui's original indoor outdoor home. The warmth of the owner and the sharing of her wonderful home is refreshing, renewing and makes for a perfect escape for the rigours of city life. Embrace the magic of the isolation, the wildlife and flora and come away with the sense of wonder that is on Sydney's secret doorstep. We celebrated a significant milestone and have wonderful memories to reminisce in this hidden paradise. We were able to declutter our busy thoughts, rejoice in our selves and celebrate in this special place. You will be hard pressed to find a better host who truly lets you into what's best about Bar Point after getting to know your motivations to search for this secluded and magical retreat.

    Audrey2019-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • As everyone says, Jacqui is a consummate hostess with the mostest. She greeted us like old friends, drinks at the ready, and then enthused us with tales of tides, island life and great tips on how to make the best of our stay. Then she left us to enjoy our idyllic place in the clouds, which we most happily did! This is definitely a place to return to.

    Rachel2019-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Just what it looks like: a fabulous, unique cabin on the edge of the bush, 50m from the Hawkesbury. Wish I'd had longer.

    Luke2019-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • We decided to book an impromptu trip away from the hassles of the city and weren’t disappointed. Jacqui gave us a warm welcome and we had a fantastic time staying in the quirky Sheila Shack and checking out the beautiful surroundings and wildlife. Thoroughly recommended!

    Andrew2019-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Jacqui’s little shack was absolutely lovely to stay in. My partner and I felt completely relaxed and loved being among all the nature. It was great fun to cook on the open fire. We grilled prawns and veggies. Highly recommend staying here!

    Tamsin2019-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best Airbnb I have stayed at. If you like private unique accommodation don't hesitate to book. Very comfortable and Jacquie has added some luxurious touches. Bugs were not an issue at all and barely encountered a mozi. Will stay again soon.

East facing (watch the sunrise) private fully self-contained studio apartment overlooking the Hawkesbury River. Tranquil setting, ideal for a quiet getaway to relax and unwind. Easy access to Sydney and the Central Coast. Mooney Mooney Club has an à la carte menu as well as bar food and is a 10 minute walk away. Brooklyn is 5 minutes drive and has restaurants, hotel, take aways, boat hire and shops.
The apartment has its own private entrance and is fully self contained. The apartment usually enjoys a cool evening breeze off the water, however, there is an air conditioner for those hot still nights. We love living on the Hawkesbury and enjoy sharing it with guests who respect our home. Mooney Mooney is a quiet, tranquil village with an abundance of wild life. We want our guests to enjoy their stay and would hope they appreciate and are considerate of the environment.
  • Amazing trip, great view, lovely hospitality

    Daniel2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Room with a view...what I most loved about my stay was the location. It was very special looking out over the vast waters of Mooney Mooney Creek , enjoying the birdlife and weather changes. All the basics for a comfortable stay with a warm welcome from Bettine and Troy. I enjoyed a drive on the Old Pacific Highway via Holgate to Terrigal and and my favourite, Avoca. Open the car windows and listen for the Bellbirds on the forrest drive.

    Jill2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for 3 nights. Everything is as described on the website. Great views, good aircon and wifi. Easy parking, clean and quiet. Wonderful to sleep with the windows and curtains open so as to wake to the beautiful view.

    Peter2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely fantastic location. Although all of Mooney Mooney unfortunately lost power on our first night (thunderstorm), Troy and Bettine were quick to make sure we were okay, offered to store our food in their fridge, let us charge our phone with their generator, and provided candles for the evening. What could have been a disaster turned into an all the more romantic two-night stay! Highly recommend.

The Kickback Cabin is located on a rural acreage property just an hour from Sydney. It is tucked away in our back paddock, looking out onto the last remains of Cumberland Forrest in the Sydney Basin. It’s a great space to simply kickback, enjoy a glass of wine, a walk in the adjacent Scheyville National Park, Longneck Lagoon, nearby Mitchell Park or Cattai National Park. Situated 5 minutes from Pitt Town and the Hawkesbury River, the Kickback Cabin is close to local pubs and cafes too.
The Kickback Cabin is a generous space for 2 and can sleep 4. A timber cabin only recently completed, it’s got all the comforts you could need as well as relaxed, country atmosphere. Our property is home to ducks, ibis, plovers, rabbits and the occasional visit from deer. The cabin is located half an acre away from the main home and tucked away behind the rural sheds on a 6 acre property. Feel free to respectfully use the space around the cabin. It’s a lovely spot for a BBQ in the summer or a campfire in the winter. The veranda is perfect for a morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. The cabin has a compact kitchen with large fridge, microwave convection oven and one hotplate. It is suitable for basic catering. There is also a BBQ and grill outside. Please note, the cabin does not contain a traditional full sized stove/cooker. There is also a Coffee Pod machine. A selection of herbal teas and instant coffee is provided along with fresh milk. Relaxed linen is provided, including sheets and towels and additional blankets. If you feel like some old fashioned relaxation there are board games, cards and books on hand as well as a stereo, dvd player and range of dvd's. Parking is located a 50 metre walk from the cabin, down a small hill, so would not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
Maraylya is located on the border of the Hills and Hawkesbury regions of Sydney. We are surrounded by National Parks and the Hawkesbury River is 5 minutes away. Our closest village is Pitt Town which is full of history, has a great pub and cafe. We are 10 minutes away from the historic township of Windsor. Maraylya is a great place to reconnect with nature. There are many bushwalking trails which allow the opportunity to view wildlife. Just around the corner is Longneck Lagoon walking track - a small freshwater wetland, Longneck Lagoon walking track allows visitors to see the startling array of birds that frequent the area.
  • Nice and quiet

  • The cabin is perfect for a weekend away from Sydney. So close to the city but set in a relaxing rural area with nice walks in the national parks close by with lots of Kangaroos in the wild. The cabin is really cute, spacious and well equipped. The towns in the area have a lot of historical buildings and character and nice pubs for a dinner or drinks. Incredible value for money. Rebecca was super responsive and helpful. Fully recommend!

We were made to feel welcome from start to finish and waking up to a view of the river every morning was just breathtaking. It is always hard to find a place like this when you travel with your pet but even the dog enjoyed his weekend away!

Please note - we have not been affected by the fires. The Loft at Kyangatha; an idyllic farm stay less than an hours drive from Sydney. The Loft is a quirky sandstone and timber hideaway just 30m from the river. Set in a paddock with views of pasture, river and the hills of Popran and Dharug National Parks. Perfect for a couple (or 2+1) it is an ideal place to get away and relax. Enjoy calming walks around the property, relax by the river, go for a paddle or have a BBQ on the waters edge.
The Loft is a quirky space that will appeal to those who love the outdoors and privacy. Designed over two levels with an outside shower and amenities under the external stairs. The ground floor has the kitchen / dining / lounge, amenities and a huge undercover deck. The galley style kitchen has a gas cooktop and microwave oven with crockery, cutlery and utensils provided. The dining / lounge area has a TV monitor for you to play movies from your computer (there is no TV reception). It opens on to a large deck with BBQ and views of the adjoining paddock and river which is a stones throw away. Upstairs is an attic style bedroom containing a double and single bed which opens on to a private balcony with fantastic views of the river and surrounding paddocks. It seems you can almost reach out and touch the river. It is a short stroll across the grass to the river (we have almost a kilometre of river frontage) that takes you to another BBQ area which has under cover outdoor setting and open BBQ. Enjoy a BBQ (we provide the settings and utensils if you don’t have any) or take one of the two kayaks for a paddle or bring your own. If you like animals we have a small herd of very curious cows. The more adventurous will wander over to you to see what is happening. We also have two friendly horses that are very happy to be patted. If they are in the Loft's paddock don’t be surprised if they come over to the deck to see what is happening! The friendliest of all though is our Cattle Dog / Kelpie cross who only loves basking in the sun more than being scratched. If you are lucky you may see the pair of magnificent sea eagles which frequently fly up the river or the pair of spectacular wedge tail eagles that hunt in the hilltops. Close by is Popran National Park with walking and mountain bike tracks. Other attractions are the choice of two public golf courses, horse riding at Glenworth Valley or boat hire and great fishing on the Hawksbury River at Spencer. It is an easy drive to charming Wollombi with its great cafes and old pub, Wisemans Ferry with its famous pub or Peats Ridge with its café, farmer's market and well received Springs Restaurant. Spencer is about 10 minutes away for a great burger, fish and chips and coffee. Tea, coffee and milk is provided on arrival. There is a coffee plunger so bring your own grind if you can't live without your particular brew. Get away from the daily grind; we dont have mobile reception (you can get that a few km down the road) and only limited wi-fi that is OK for social media but not streaming. Looking for something more comfortable or more people? Try the Barn at Kyangatha My default listing is for 2 days, however if no weekend booking has been made by Friday I am happy with 1 day for that weekend. Pls contact me Fri or Sat via Airbnb so I can make a variation.
  • The Loft is a superb getaway. A stylish space, an idyllic location, a super charming dog - what more could you ask for?

    Su2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Steven is a very helpful host. The Loft was sparkling clean and as described. It’s definitely a bit different: the upstairs bedroom is reached by an outside staircase. Kitchen, toilet and lounge area are down next to a big deck. Both areas are very open, with no screens, but the mossie coils provided were amazingly effective. We took our own kayaks and had a 3 hour paddle downstream which was really enjoyable. Getting the kayaks in and out of the water was a bit tricky but doable. It’s quiet, quite picturesque and a great weekend escape from Corona-madness!

    Carrie2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Stevens place was a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. In a quiet location, you can really relax. The sound of birds wakes you up in the morning and blue dog is the best little housemate. Basic amenities but has all you need! Steven is a lovely communicative host who was very accommodating to us

    Valerie2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great little rustic cabin on the river. Steven is a helpful host who finds a good middle ground betweenbeing up for a friendly chat and giving you all the privacy you need. Blue dog is a handsome little guy who loves a sooky tummy rub. Nearby Popran national park and Somersby have nice waterfalls and swimming holes which we also explored. • We had a lovely week staying in this apartment. Our evenings on the balcony overlooking the view were wonderful. Carol was the perfect hostess - surpassing all our expectations. We were particularly touched that after she found out we were travelling with our 4-month old, a baby bath and baby toiletries were waiting for us in the bathroom! There is no public access to the Hawkesbury River for swimming in Cottage Point and no direct access from the apartment either, however Carol asked a neighbour if we could use their private access. It was glorious!

We are a family run business that offers two unique ‘Tiny Homes' for people to get away from a busy life style. This cabin is called Petes Retreat.

The surroundings are heavenly and the host was the most helpful and kind host we have ever had. If you have a dog I can guarantee that they will love this place! Ours loved running through the bush tracks and relaxing on the porch with us. It was a perfect getaway and cannot wait to return! We feel re-energised for the work week and now share memories of an awesome experience as a family. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 10/10

  • As others have said, this is a quiet restful place to take a break, but not far from suburbia so it is easy to access. Susan was a helpful and friendly host for Michele's place. We really enjoyed our relaxing family adventure in the tiny house. There are so many thoughtful features and touches, beyond what I would expect. The fresh eggs for breakfast were wonderful.

It is remote access (by boat) and perfect for escaping the city in spacious comfort and style. Long-stay bookings/rentals only at this time. 4 ensuite rooms. Tennis court, pool, cliff edge jacuzzi, BBQ, chef's kitchen & pool table. A special place to share unforgettable moments with loved ones.Heaven on Earth! (Apologies but it is not suitable for parties.)
Luxuriously appointed for the most discerning guests. Caretaker will be there to welcome you. Not just a house but an entire property for your exclusive use. Beautiful walks surrounded by Australian bush wallabies, kookaburras, goannas (monitor lizards)and other fascinating native animals. Multiple indoor and outdoor dining, relaxing and entertaining zones. Tropical palm surrounded pool. Full size tennis court. Cliff top jacuzzi with champagne bucket and disco lights! Fine quality linen and towels. Organic toiletries. Roaring log burning fireplace. Designer Italian furniture and modern Australian art.
The Hawkesbury River is surrounded on both sides by national parks. It is blissfully peaceful and offers the kind of serenity that can be so hard to find in urban life. Spending time here amongst the abundance of our incredible Australian native ‘Bush’ whilst watching the river flow by truly is food for the soul. • Outstanding place, beautiful spot, great for families and kids

    Peter2019-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is an absolute gem of a house. Great location with sweeping views over the Hawkesbury. Fantastic facilities with pool, tennis court, jacuzzi and great sound system. Everything is laid on and we felt very privileged to be there. There is no road access and you experience a wonderful feeling of isolation. I recommend minimum device time for the kids as they will soon take to exploring and adventuring if given the chance! We personally underestimated our food requirements and ran out on the second day - the caretaker very kindly assisted us but better to work out your requirements so that you have enough food as there is nothing nearby. To enjoy the river you need to bring water shoes and to arrange things like kayaks or tinny boats. The boat hire is pretty cheap and well worth it. A drawback of the Hawkesbury is that you cannot swim in the river because of the multitude of stinging jellyfish - that was a surprise to us and was disappointing. As long as you know that you will be fine - the pool and jacuzzi are wonderful. It is a special place with a beautiful feeling. I believe you will love your time there. We stayed for 4 nights with another family - that felt like about the right amount of time. The generous 4pm checkout time on Sunday was also greatly appreciated.

  • Fisherman’s Point is a magical place and was just what we needed for a relaxing girls weekend away. John the caretaker, greeted the first of our group to arrive and explained everything that we needed to know. There was a big storm later that evening and he was quickly on hand to ensure that we were ok including providing a generator when the power went out temporarily. The house is spectacular with beautiful furnishings and keen attention to detail. You could easily stay there for days and not need to leave. However, we did enjoy a fabulous lunch across the water at Peats Bite! Something to bear in mind is that the property is only accessible by boat but there is a local water taxi company who will ferry you around. We all can’t wait to return!

    Michelle2018-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • A truly secluded and beautiful home. The view of the Hawksbury river is stunning and the interior is very warm and comfortable in both bedrooms and common areas. The kitchen is also fully stocked which is amazing since we cooked most our meals at the house! It was a fantastic weekend relaxing with friends, cooking and playing games. Another great feature is the Bluetooth connected speakers internally and externally! As the listing says, it’s only reachable via water taxis , which is easy but a little pricey, especially if your group arrives at different times. (Min $100/way +$10pp after 2pax). Thanks for a great stay Skye!!

    Jeff2018-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house that is so well looked after and has everything you need for a Sydney escape. Our family had a lovely few days relaxing, bonding, resting and recharging in a magical space. The house is so beautifully decorated, makes you feel like you are home. Took less than an hour from Sydney yet we felt like we were a million miles from civilisation. Skye was super helpful and answered our questions straight away. Would really love to come back to this beautiful house. Thanks Skye!

    Daniella2018-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoy a stunning weekend in a secluded getaway with all the entertainment you could want! Tranquil and relaxing.

    Lucy2018-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a long weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. There was ample space for 5 couples and baby. The master bedroom is incredible, all the other bedrooms are nicely appointed too. We had no complaints from any of our party. There are so many places to relax around the property and great options for a change of view for meal times. We were able to eat at a different table each night that comfortably fit all of us. There's no shortage of activities for the adventurous and equally enough quiet areas to relax and chill out with a drink. Making our way there was no problem with a quick drive from Sydney and a short boat ride over to the property. It took less than 10 mins in a taxi boat. I'd highly recommend this property for families and groups of friends looking to get away for a short visit. If you have your own boat staying longer would definitely be an option.

    Darragh2018-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this property! Skye was a wonderful host in the lead up to our stay at this property with great communication and suggestions of additional activities in the area! And from the first glimpse of the property as we approached from the boat, we knew the stay was going to be spectacular!! The property has everything you could want in terms of amenities, and is so stunningly decorated to the highest standard which is only seconded by the view from every aspect of the property ! We will certainly be staying here again! We did not want to leave!!

Ideal for one or two couples. Welcome to The Barn at Kyangatha. An idyllic farm stay less than an hours drive from Sydney. The Barn is a spacious rustic sandstone and timber hideaway with expansive views of pasture, river and the hills and bushland of Popran and Dharug National Parks. It is an ideal place to get away, relax and be reinvigorated in comfort. Enjoy calming walks around the property, relax by the river, go for a paddle or have a BBQ on the waters edge.
The character filled barn has a fully equipped kitchen / dining area with gas cooktop, electric oven and crockery, cutlery and utensils provided. The kitchen / dining area has a fireplace and opens on to a large deck with BBQ and expansive views of the property. Upstairs is an air-conditioned spacious lounge room with TV and open queen sized bedroom and a second bedroom containing a queen and single bed. The lounge room is comfortably furnished with a "reading" area and TV viewing area. A short stroll across the paddock to the river ( we have almost a kilometre of river frontage) takes you to another BBQ area which has under cover outdoor setting s and open BBQ. Enjoy a BBQ (we provide the settings and utensils if you don’t have any) or take one of the two kayaks for a paddle or bring your own.. If you like animals we have a small herd of very curious cows. The more adventurous will wander over to you to see what is happening. We also have two friendly horses that are very happy to be patted. The friendliest of all though is our Cattle Dog / Kelpie cross who only loves basking in the sun more than being scratched. If you are lucky you may see the pair of magnificent sea eagles that frequently fly up the river or the pair of spectacular wedge tail eagles that hunt in the hilltops. Close by is Popran National Park with walking and mountain bike tracks. Other attractions are the choice of two public gold courses, horse riding at Glenworth Valley or boat hire and great fishing on the Hawksbury River. Get away from the daily grind; we don't have mobile reception (you can get that a few km down the road) and only limited wi-fi that is OK for social media but not streaming. Looking for something more rustic / quirky? Try the Loft at Kyangatha Please note; The base price is for up to two people. My default listing is for 2 days, however if no weekend booking has been made by Friday I am happy with 1 day for that weekend. Pls contact me Fri or Sat via Airbnb so I can make a variation.
  • Steven was extremely hospitable and even gave us some of his own chicken when we realised we’d left ours in Sydney. Great place and will visit again!

  • Beautiful ,beautiful experience !!! Definitely recommend this getaway. Steven is a great host and was just a call away. Extremely tidy place and friendly animals on the property. The place had amazing timber work and such thoughtful touches to the rooms as well. The place is close to the city yet so tranquil and serene and the sunrise is to die for!

  • Our stay at Steven's barn was incredible. We were warmly greeted by Steven and Blue Dog upon entering the property. When Steven realised that we unwisely didn't bring any food with us he kindly invited us in for dinner. Steven's hospitality was amazing, always making sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable during our stay. He and his partner went above and beyond even offering us fresh produce from their garden to make sure we had enough to eat. The barn was extremely clean and had everything you needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay Steven, we hope to be back again soon!

  • My friend and I had such a beautiful time at Steven’s farm. The vibe there is so tranquil. When we first arrived there was a power outage so Steven and family did anything they could to ensure that we had power from their generator to get us by. The power came back on the next day and we were so grateful for that air con as it was quite a warm one. The animals were lovely and blue dog is an absolute champ. It’s definitely worth a visit.

  • Me and my friend stayed with three kids for weekend and we absolutely love this place. Steven is a wonderful hoist. The kids enjoyed playing with the Blue dog and were spending a lot of time outside.

  • Spending a quiet New Years at Stevens was exactly what we needed. It was scorching hot but the fans and aircon worked well as did swimming in the river. The views across the cow paddock and regular visits from Blue Dog (who we wanted to take home with us) made it a lovely getaway. Thanks Steven for being so welcoming!
