We had a wonderful week at Dai Beddi. The unique garden made the atmosphere around the house lovely and cozy. Marcello is a fantastic host! He helped us with so many things, which made it much easier for us traveling with a 6 months old baby. We can highly recommend staying at Marcello house and having him as a host.

We stayed at Marcello for 4 days. Excellent communication with the host that was always available. The villa is right next to the family home but Marcello and his family are VERY discreet while being available. The parking for the car is located at the bottom of the garden which is about 2 minutes walk in a wooded then not recommended for people with reduced mobility. For our part it caused us no problem. The villa was very clean and well equipped, perfectly suited to the description. And of course there are cats (5 I think) who come say hello sometimes;). We loved our stay! Great house; great location; great host!

Marcello’s place is a small gem. You reach it through a very picturesque walk through olive, figs and pomegranate trees. A private access to the sea allows you to swim in peace, enjoying sun and sea far from tourists’ masses and in shiny clean water. The house is lovely and has everything you need and far more. Marcello is the best host: he spent a lot of time giving us advice on what to see and was simply adorable. Thank you so much, Marcello!

Marcello is a very nice person. Very welcome and very helpful. The place is very nice with the garden he made us discover and the private terrace that allows you to cool off. I recommend this place that can radiate in the region from south to north.

We have stayed at Marcella’s place for 10 days and had a wonderful time. The flat was extraordinary clean and looked exactly like it was shown on the pictures. The balcony view is just amazing. Super nice apartment in the attic, very clean. We felt very comfortable. Only the bus connections are unfortunately not reliable, you always had to wait for good luck on the next bus, so take a short drive into the city took about 2 hours ... That would be better with a rental car or scooter run better. But overall it was a nice and recommendable stay

I stayed with my friend in Sicily for two weeks and stayed for 14 days in Marcellas apartment. Catania is a pretty chaotic and hectic city. The apartment but an oasis of peace on the 3rd floor. A fantastic view to the sea on one side and to the other side of the terrace to Etna. The apartment itself is very nicely decorated. With everything you need. When we arrived late at midnight, there was no problem with the check in. Velia had also arranged for us a transfer from the airport to the apartment which, despite the delay of our machine, worked perfectly. The communication between Velia (she organizes and manages the apartment) and we always went very fast, extremely well and always reliable. The apartment was super clean. Three big bottles of water and milk in the fridge for us. There was also coffee and tea for us to use. What might still be a nice addition to the otherwise perfectly adequate equipment of the apartment, would be a microwave. We can only fully recommend the apartment.

Note of particular merit for availability and courtesy of Ms Catia. An invaluable help for me that I stayed alone for an emergency situation due to the admission of a family member to the Cannizzaro hospital. Owners always available and also available for extension and change of house, convenient location (very close to the hospital), cleanliness and availability at the top. Thank you so much!

The area is not among the most beautiful and provided with services, but if you look there you already know it. In contrast, to reach the sea or the countries of ACI TREZZA and ACI CASTELLO is perfect. Private garden, convenient for those who have animals and want to enjoy the sun. The apartment is small but complete.

Great house and caring owner! 20 minutes walk to the airport - for us it turned out to be an ideal option since we handed in a car in the evening and in the morning there was our departure. Giuseppe met us, showed everything and told, advised places for shopping and restaurants. The house has heating and a separate radiator, which means that even in winter you will not freeze (it turned out to be very important for us traveling in March). In the kitchen, there is everything for independent cooking. We recommend)

We had a nice stay at Giuseppes apartment. Its just a few minutes to the airport so this was good for us on our last day. Even if the adress is located at a big street, the apartment is in the backyard. So is was really quite. The beach is 15min to walk and to get in the city centre is about 40min to walk. But there are also busses which just need about 5-10minutes. Giuseppe was a nice and helpful host! The apartment was also really lovely and clean.

Well furnished apartment for 2 people with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom on the upper floor, quiet and yet very close to the airport. Can only be recommended!

This is a great value stay. It’s very close to the airport. Guiseppe kindly picked me up and dropped me back for a reasonable fee if 10 Euros. He is a very nice guy and the very clean apartment is cool. It’s a compact 2 story place in a little courtyard, and had everything you could need. Highly recommended for the price.

Amazing hospitality. Accommodation near the beach and the airport. However, the biggest advantage of this place is Giuseppe. He is a wonderful host who will help you feel like a true Sicilian. I hope see You again.;)

Super nice host. The road to the accommodation is not very pleasant but the apartment is great. Note, good pizzas 800 m (we went on foot but it is a bit dangerous, it is better to take the car).

I strongly recommend this address where Antonella is very caring for these guests. We feasted on his vegetarian meal. Ideally placed, the setting is top.

The apartment is very nice and cosy. Everything we needed was there. The streets around are very quiet. In walking distance is a parking lot, which doesn't cost anything, and there is also a small market with everything you might need. Antonella was a great host. She doesn't speak English and we don't speak Italian. But we communicated in French and with hands and feet. It worked very well and she was very welcoming and made us feel at home right away. She also answered all our questions. We can recommend the stay there.

We are well at Antonella ... His apartment is well equipped, comfortable and has good bedding. It is located in a secure area (important for parking rented cars) 15 minutes from the center of Catania. And above all, Antonella puts at our disposal its magnificent flowered terrace and shaded for breakfast with "sea view". She can also on request and for a few euros you prepare an excellent meal, typical and delicious. Finally, Antonella is available, discreet and ... ADORABLE. Do not hesitate.

Diego's apartment is beautiful, clean and modernly furnished. The area is perfect both for those seeking tranquility and for those looking for fun (lido mama sea in the evening). Those who want to take a trip to Catania can take either the regional train (15 min) or the bus (50 min). Who wants to take a walk along the seafront can visit Aci Castello (Norman castle) and Acitrezza. The area offers excellent restaurants especially for those who like fresh fish. Diego was very kind and very helpful. Thank you dear Diego, I hope we'll see each other again!

Nice location by the sea. Apartment itself has been renovated to a high standard although the building and communal area areas are in need of some updating ( eg there is a disused swimming pool in the grounds). Air conditioning is installed in living and bedroom which was great as the temperature was very hot during our stay.

Everything about this place and the host was amazing. My friend and I enjoyed our stay at Diego's place a lot. He was such a nice person who provided us with a clean accommodation with some snacks, coffee and cookies which was really nice of him. He also was super nice to pick us up from the train station. Diego‘s apartment is extremely clean ( like a hotel)comfortable and modern decorated exactly in our Stil. It is not too big, but everyone can find his place. It is not far away from Catania city. If you don’t want to drive a car to city( difficult to find park place) it is easy to take the train which is only 10 min by feet. Near the apartment you can find many restaurants, beach clubs and bars. If you love night life, it will be not boring. Also to visit Taomina, Siracusa ( Diego‘s Tipp!) is around 40, 50min by car. Diego is very polite and friendly with very good English skills. Therefore the communication is perfect with him. He even helped us to handle with police to clarify our park penalty. ( Many thanks again for that!) and gave us many Tipps to visit attractions. It is our pleasure to live in Diego‘s apartment.

The house is very beautiful, completely renovated recently, and with plenty of space. Super living_cucina the area available to guests, in which Diego prepares breakfast and from which you can enjoy a wonderful glimpse of the sea. Useful to be able to park the car inside the courtyard. Bathroom all new tub with shower and bedroom with balcony with a clothesline. The house is in a convenient location for touring the surrounding area: Acitrezza and the Cyclops Islands, Etna, Taormina, Catania just 10minutes and more. Diego is not a simple host: we found a friend! Really a nice and helpful person who presses that guests are comfortable and have every comfort. Nice to chat with him, discuss and discover local places and thanks to his advice. A house of Diego felt just like our home, we hope to be back soon and definitely recommend the stay by him.

Maria’s room is a great place to stay in Catania - perfect, safe location, clean and with a nice touch. Me and my sister spent the whole days outside, exploring the area and knowing that you can go back to the room at anytime without stressing about the surrounding area, was a great relief. We spent our vacation during late February and it was warm and cosy inside, always warm water and comfortable blankets. The street was a little noisy but nothing too bothering. Definitely recommend especially out of the season.

I recommend the apartment. 3 separate bedrooms! Living room, kitchen, bathroom. First floor. Parking across the street is free. Close to shop and communication. I would recommend.

Apartment was really big and clean. We stayed only one night, but nearby is big supermarket and good restaurant in "Pirate" style. Location is a little bit noise because of traffic from big street. Communication with Marco was good.

We stayed in YellowOrangeCatania place and everything was very nice! The appartment is outside the Catania, but the possibility to get to the centre with bus is very easy. Around there are nice places to eat and just few steps away there are beautiful cliffs and sea. We enjoyed the stay and despite the apartment is near the street, it is not very loud. Neighbour Katia was very helpful and friendly! Thank you!

The accommodation is very bright and spacious for 2 people I think it's fine even for 4 or 5. Very clean the apartment and the owner very helpful to requests for check in and check out. It was a real shame not to meet him in person, but always available. The apartment is located in a strategic point of a huge city. It was necessary to have the car available. For sure I will return.

We stayed at manuelas for a week, and right from the start it was great. Manuela sent us a email within a few days of booking with maps of the surrounding area, lists of restaurants in Catania to try, and links to others sites around the area. We arrived late, but check in was easy and straight forward, with loads of parking in front. The flat is small and cosy but still more than big enough for us. We already had been given the password for the wifi. In the surrounding area, there was a proper bakery with loads of fresh baked goods, as well as a Sicilian wine shop, a tobacco shop, pizza shop, a shop selling the best rotisserie chicken and a amazing biscuit shop. It is within walking distance to Ognina, and it only took us 40mins to walk to Catania, but there are plenty of buses if you don't want to walk. It is easily accessible to all the main roads, and only a hour from Siracusa, Taormina and Etna. A great base, and we will be defiantly coming to Sicily again. Thank you Manuela for a great day.

We had a fantastic stay. Gianluca looked after us extremely well and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. The apartment is super stylish and very comfortable. The little touches like bottled water and beer in the fridge for us were so lovely. This place is in a beautiful location, one of the best you could find in Aci Reale actually. It is a short walk away from Aci Castello. Restaurants and amenities are a few minutes away, and the beach is just across the street. The area is safe and quiet at night - perfect for a good nights sleep.

We stayed a few days in this very large apartment well placed near Catania and the beach. Giovanni gave us addresses of places to see and nice restaurants, very welcome! the apartment in the basement was rather cool (a little wet too) but with the heat of August it was nice, we did not miss anything, we will come back with pleasure!

Angela was very warm and welcoming. She was very available to us both physically and through written conversation. The apartment is very well located not far from the city center, 20 minutes from the sea and the airport. The accommodation was clean, bright and functional. The private terrace on the top floor is a real asset thanks to its large area and its clear and panoramic view of the city and Etna. The bedding is very comfortable. I recommend without hesitation the accommodation of Angela.

We lived with Angela in early August. Impressions are the best. The apartment is very conveniently located, clean, has everything you need for life, a terrace is the highlight of the housing. Magnificent views of Etna, the sea, the city are provided. On the terrace there are a lot of flowers, greenery, everything is very beautiful. In the gazebo there is a huge table where you can arrange family dinners and just have a nice rest during the day. There are sunbeds, you can sunbathe. I met Angela cordially, gave practical advice. Many thanks to her family for the bike they kindly provided to my husband and he had the opportunity to climb Mount Etna on a bike !!!! There have never been problems with parking near the house! The car could be delivered without problems in the morning and evening. We drove along the coast, the apartment is very convenient from all the main interchanges. Conveniently reach the center of Catania for an evening walk. We went towards Syracuse and Taormina. Two supermarkets are located next to the apartment within walking distance. The prices are reasonable. Fruits, milk, cheeses are beyond praise. Definitely recommend it!

A wonderful place to stay. The location is very smart, the flat typically classical Sicilian. It was very clean and Grazia is a lovely host, she helped us plan our outings and arranged for a good guide - Nuncio to take us to Etna, Toarmina, Syracuse and was a terrific help in everything we asked. Our stay at Grazia's place was really great. Grazia is a very nice host and she was always very reactive the night of our arrival as much as for any questions in the next days. The apartment is nice, we immediately felt at home. The kitchen has everything you need. Comfortable room and bathroom ok. The garden is a good place to relax after a day at the beach.

The place was cosy and comfortable and had a nice backyard for chilling. All the necessary equipment was present and it was clean as well. Also the host was superfriendly, answered really quickly and was ready to solve any kind of problems. She even organized us pickup from the airport to the apartment at night. I recommend!

Everything is as described - very nice accommodation

The apartment is exactly like the pictures. The location allows you to comfortably walk to the shores to access the sea and a couple of supermarkets. Netflix and internet are included and make your stay even more enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay in Andrea's apartment. First of all, Andrea is very responsive and easy to deal with. Communication was excellent. The apartment is very nice and very stylish, and very comfortable. My stay was in July and it was hot but the apartment has very good air conditioning. There is a lovely living area, a formal dining area, a very nice bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The apartment, in my opinion, is in a perfect location. You get to the sea in minutes, get to Catania sights in 20 minutes, Taormina, Ragusa, and Syracuse are easily reached by car. Markets are close by. Wifi works great. No problem streaming. Parking on the street is easy to find. The apartment is very quiet and a great place to stay. I highly recommend this apartment if you want to stay in Catania.

Nice apartment with calm! Rare are the calm places, and Andrea's apartment is located in a quiet environment at 2 steps of the sea. Ideally located (20mn of the city center and 5mn of Acicastello by car). It is very easy to park for free at 50m. Only one very negative point (but this is only mine proven): the apartment is totally empty of energy because the living room, (oriented north-west), is very dark and located below the entrance of the building. The apartment located on the first floor, is spacious and perfectly faithful to the photos. Everything you need is available: iron and ironing board, microwave oven, gazinière and classic oven, washing machine, dishwasher and Nespresso capsule coffee maker. And even more rare, you have a dressing to fix all your business! I recommend Andrea's apartment which is a very responsive and listening gentleman; timely and helpful. Surely you will pass a good stay from him!

This is a great location to use as a home base to explore the northern and southern parts of Sicily. The neighborhood is quiet and there is plenty of parking if you have a car. The apartment itself is spacious and was clean. We would love to stay again.

Elegantly furnished apartment with many amenities, including washing machine, dishwasher, Nespresso, Netflix, free internet, air conditioning. I found myself very well logistically because the nearest beach (Aldebaran, only 7 € a pardon all day with beach umbrella and deck chairs) is located at 150 m. and the supermarket (IperSimply) at 250m. (Anyway you can ask for home delivery for € 2.5). For other trips I used Enioy (ENI car sharing) that always has cars nearby. Splendid sea, perfect home.

We had a wonderful time at Lorenzo’s place. The location is perfect if you want to explore Catania. It was also easy for us to spend a day trip in Taormina (by train) and Etna (by tour). Lorenzo was so helpful and responded to all my questions quickly. He also arranged an airport taxi for us which was a relief with an early morning flight. Highly recommend.

It was perfect. This was our first stop in Sicily and it made us feel safe and comfortable. It was also very clean and had heating which was important this time of year. Everything is perfect except the power of water stream in shower, it's very weak. All the other things are perfect, there's nothing bad to say, really — we had totally everything a traveller might need. Though a little bit confusing was the checkout time, at 10 in the morning, as for me it's a bit early. Also, we had only one keys bundle and if someone leaves the flat, he takes the keys and there's no way to use electricity for the other one who stays, because to use electricity you always have to keep the keys inside the wall. All the other things are completely perfect — towels, shower stuff, a little food in the kitchen, Smart TV with Netflix — fantastico!

Great listing, to be honest when we entered Catania, we were disappointed with this city and thought of booking another accommodation in another city without returning to Catania, but in the end we returned and It feels really unexpected. The house is as welcoming as the pictures and the details are intimate. It was also very clean. I felt that I had returned to my home. The landlord communicated in a timely manner and was very enthusiastic. I regret that I did not stay for two more days. In short, it is a worthwhile place to stay. If there is a chance to come to Catania in the future, I will definitely hope to have a chance to stay.

Very good room for our one night stay - clean and warm (has a heater, which is not standard in Italy!), very close to the city centre and the train station. Also, very good and quick communication!

Room was perfect for a short stay and to discover Catania since it was just 10mins by foot from everything. Central Station was less than 5mins away. Luca gave us really good restaurants recommendations and was available for any questions.

We stayed in the top room and had the bathroom adjacent to ourselves. Small room, large shared accommodation (but very private) with high ceilings and clean, Nice location, quick stroll to the fish market in the mornings was lovely. Luca also gave easy clear self check-in instructions. It's only a few minutes down the street to the Catania central train station too.

On the same floor there are several bedrooms and three bathrooms to be shared. Our room was clean. The bathroom was not perfectly clean, but keep in mind that it is shared with other people.

The property turned out to be ideal for a trip to Catania. The hostess is very friendly. I would book this accommodation again at any time.

The room was exactly like in the photos! It was perfectly clean and I slept very well. Since there were other guests who shared the bathroom it had a bit of a nice hostel atmosphere.

Very large and bright rooms with impeccable cleanliness. The bathrooms are shared, but being three, it never created any problems. The central location then allows you to visit the historic city on foot. Availability of restaurants, pizzerias, and fast-food outlets in the immediate vicinity.

Very nice accommodation divided into several rooms quite distant from each other with two bathrooms and a kitchen to share. Our room was very bright, the terrace added a real bonus! Ideally located in Catania close to the city center, we highly recommend :)

Loredana's place was a really great find for me. I was looking for something in the prime area and I'm so glad to have found it. It is just 2-3mins away from the Duomo and being right on via Etnea there are ample stores and restaurants to choose from. It is about 20mins away from the central station, but there is a bus stop right under the apartment so connections to the station were very convenient. Loredana's suggestions were really helpful and I really appreciate how helpful she was with any of my questions and concerns. The room I was in had a lovely balcony attached (beware of the mosquitoes though!) that allowed for a lot of natural light to flow in. The bed was comfortable and the room was very tastefully done. The bathroom is also not very far away. I would definitely recommend this place! 😁

Dai Beddi is a peaceful oasis a 20-minute drive from Catania airport, and was the perfect base for us to explore the coast. The tiny house was immaculate and had a lovely outside area to enjoy a morning coffee and chat with the resident dogs and cats. It's super cute and Marcello made us feel very at home. We stayed in October which is off-season, so some of the local lidos with sea access were closed, but there lovely beaches North of the town and Marcello was helpful with recommendations. Combined with a week of pizza and pasta, and we feel very relaxed and happy :)

My girlfriend and I stayed at Marcello in late August. The house is beautiful and immersed in tranquility. Little girl (as you can see from the photos) but complete with everything you need. In the small back garden you can spend pleasant moments of relaxation, grilling and eating outdoors. Around a vegetable garden that Marcello puts at guests' disposal (very good tomatoes and peppers). The house is not near the center of Aci Castello but is 15 / 20min walk away. Marcello is a helpful and friendly host, he did not fail to give us advice and directions on the place and where to buy typical products.

Marcello is an extremely available person and the little wooden house is lovely. My boyfriend and I were relaxed by staying with him, if we go back over there we will definitely come back.

We had a great time in the Tiny House. It's definitely tiny, but you have everything you need and the air conditioning in the Sicilian summer was much appreciated. The ceiling is very close in the sleeping space, which takes a bit of getting used to, but the matress was very comfortable. The private access to the water is an amazing feature, especially when it gets busy everywhere else. We also loved the feel of the garden and our friend Metoo the cat. Marcello was a very friendly and helpful host. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in Aci Castello. Marcello is really as nice as everyone else says, his blind cat is adorable, swimming from the nearby bridge is fun and you can even help yourself in the garden with fruit and vegetables!

Marcello's place was really lovely with loads of cute details, practical facilities (air conditioning and a freezer!!) and a wonderful garden full of herbs and veggies. It was super clean and exactly as described. The sea is beautiful and very close (5 mins by foot), lovely families and retired people there as well but way less crowded than everything else around and no tourists at all. We felt very welcome from the start and had a really great time. We'll hopefully return next year.

Giuseppe is a wonderful host who is happy to help his guests. The appartment just next to the sea is clean and really cosy. If you're travelling to Catania, i would definitely recommend this place.

If there is somewhere a definition of super host, Giuseppe Gaetano is a perfect example of it. Replies back within few minutes. Amazingly helpful. It happened that our rental car was malfunctioning - it could not lock. Giuseppe immediately offered help and called rental company so that we could drive back and change the car. Always greets you with a smile and always is willing to help. Thanks to his hospitality and recommendations we had really great time in Sicily. When it comes to the place it was perfect. We were so amazed with it. Private access to volcanic rocky beach - awesome for evenings to chill out and enjoy the sounds of the sea hitting the rocks. On the terrace there is a white gazebo with sea view - ideal for having breakfast there. If you like running there is a coastal path nearby. Place was clean, spacious and comfortable for a group of 5 people. Kitchen was equipped well - we could prepare breakfast and dinner there with ease. All in all we enjoyed every moment there. The location is awesome, if you like the sea. With the apartment you rent also a private beach. The place is large and has everything you will need for your holidays. The hosts are very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this place for your stay in Catania.

Gaetano represents the typical Sicilian hospitality: very warm right away, he offered us wine and put the music by Alexa (great to have it at home!) We felt immediately at home! The location is fantastic, with a private beach and very close to the historic center. Lots of nice restaurants nearby, (we recommend going to Ernersto, the best arancini in town and only a 5 min walk). Spotless house full of extras like Alexa, Netflix and PlayStation. As soon as we arrived we requested to add one more night for how nice it was! Thanks again Gaetano!

Very well located accommodation, on the main street of Catania, a stone's throw from the Bellini Garden and the Botanical Garden, almost halfway between Piazza Duomo and Catania Borgo station (where Circumetnea passes) and comfortably on the Alibus route from / to the airport (with € 4 you are already starting to get an idea of the city). On the fourth floor, the room is elegant, with a large wardrobe and beautiful light if the curtains are opened; unfortunately the windows of the balcony cannot isolate from the continuous noise of the traffic all night, and in winter it is better to have a light sweatshirt if you don't immediately sweat under the duvet. Independent and very simple check-in and excellent cleaning even in the large bathrooms and kitchen (although a larger dish drainer would be ideal). If you choose to eat with the tray in the room and not in the common areas, the shelf where the chair is located is a bit too high, I preferred to free the table near the bed (which also has useful USB sockets on the bedside table) . Ultimately high value for money: accommodation with almost hotel standard but with the comforts (use of kitchen, fridge, common areas) and the low costs of an economic BnB.

Rodolfo provided us with valuable tips as for where to eat and what to see and was welcoming and responsive. The place is stylish and in a great location. Two important issues though: 1) there was no soap to wash hands (only tiny bit of dishsoap), although it was listed in the amenities; 2) toalet seat was absent.

A clean and large apartment in the 70s style. Outstanding were the large roof terrace and the hosts. Mariella had even defeated food for the first day. There were also new spices, soap and even bath towels for the beach! We'll be back!
