You see, it's all been very carefully thought out – 5 star camping without the hassle. Just bring yourself -so you can just switch off, settle down and truly get away from it all in the essence of luxury.
Belle Del is set just outside the boundary of the Snowdonia National Park and near the surrounding beauty that is the Llyn Peninsula. There is a vast choice of places to visit and things to do in this mystical landscape with its Celtic culture and fascinating history; there truly is something to suit everyone. The Snowdonia National Park boasts some of the most beautiful and spectacular scenery in the country and there are many ways you can explore it; by foot, horse, bike, train, boat or car – the choice is yours! Alongside easy access to historic castles and houses, steam trains, copper and slate mines, come rain or shine, you won’t be short of something to fill the time when you visit this area of North Wales . Snowdon itself, at 3,650 feet (1,085m) is a prime destination for many, with the most popular routes to the summit ranging from the popular Llanberis path running parallel to the Snowdon Mountain Railway, to the more challenging Pyg and Miner’s tracks. Dinas Dinlle is just 5 minutes drive from the Belle. The beach is a very popular sandy beach with the upper shores consisting of small pebbles and stones. At the west of the beach is a children’s play area and there is good surfing. Parc Glynllifon is just 2 minutes drive away. It has an amazing mansion, café,historic gardens and an arts and craft centre. Caernarfon is just a ten-minute drive and here you will find yourself in the midst of a Royal Town, with its shops and restaurants catering for every taste. The Castle dates back to the 13th Century and dominates this historic and royal town; the site and its walls are a designated World Heritage Site. The town is situated on the banks of the River Seiont with magnificent views of the Menai Strait. The History of the town dates back to Roman times and its commanding presence demonstrates how it was set apart from other settlements in North Wales. • Sioned is such a lovely host, extremely helpful and accommodating, the tent is stylishly set up, very cozy and doesn't feel like you are camping (in the right way). The field is huge and it's a lovely view, I especially loved the scary tree nearby. Highly recommend. Dave

  • Beautiful little hidden gem! So cosy in a beautiful farm no one around or near by, looking out of the homeliest most stunning tipi on to open fields was amazing! • What a wonderful stay at Sioban’s luxury tent, the whole experience was amazing. The tent is situated in a quiet area away from the main house so you have total privacy. The accommodation was spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable. The tent feels very cosy inside with really nice touches, subtle lighting and the wood stove which warms up the room really nicely. The shower was hot and clean and we received bathrobes and slippers. The hosts were super friendly and helpful, Sioban kindly provided snacks and a bottle of wine on arrival which we enjoyed by the fire outside. Thank you for a great experience.

  • The place is amazing and so is Sioned hospitality! I stayed here with my 6 year old daughter as she had never camped before and wanted to take her somewhere nice... this was perfect and the attention to detail by the host was great. We had the whole field to ourselves to play and the tent/experience really is 5 star, I can’t recommend it enough! We will be coming back soon! Thank you

Lots of thoughtful touches like fleece blankets to wrap around you whilst sitting around the fire pit. Bed very comfy. Amenities great and also clean and tidy with towels/shower gel/shampoo etc provided. Ladies powder room a great touch. Kitchen trailer a great idea and the picture doesn't do it justice.

  • What a stay! Despite heavy rain and wild winds at night, the bell tent and farm was the perfect retreat for my husband’s birthday. We even had balloons and a card upon our arrival. The little touches and consideration of everything we needed was definitely noticed. Perfect location, lovely hosts who even took us to the pub so we could enjoy yet more wines and whiskies! Gorgeous farm pets who gave us lots of cuddles. Comfy beds, warm blankets and hot water bottles and all the essentials we needed to make our stay not just comfortable but easy and relaxing. Will definitely be coming back... just maybe in the summer!

Adults only. Plas-Tirion is a small organically managed smallholding. We have a 5 metre bell tent with double bed and separate "summerhouse" kitchen with cooking facilities (see pictures) available in a peaceful spot overlooking Red Wharf Bay on the Isle of Anglesey. Situated just below Pentraeth Forest (Red squirrel woodland), and a short walk to the Anglesey Coastal Footpath and the large sandy beach.
This is an "off-grid" site. There are two cool boxes in the kitchen, ice packs are changed regularly, normally twice a day. Water available from a standpipe. Compost toilet on site. Shower room with gas powered shower. Camp fire allowed. Car parking is approximately 50 metres from the camping field (No cars allowed on field). Wheelbarrow available to get your gear to the tent Nearest shop, garage, pub and Chinese takeaway 2 miles away. We are sorry that due to the nature of the site we cannot accommodate children or pets. The property is reached via a stone track which could be difficult for low profile cars. Transport can be arranged from the nearest train station (Bangor) or bus stop (Pentraeth village). A few reviews from our guests: 5* We had a wonderful couple of days at Plas-Tirion. Amanda made us feel very welcome, she is a fantastic host. The tent is spacious and very well equipped. The view is stunning and the place is very peaceful. We will be back! 5* Loved our 2day break here even the rain didn't stop us lovely tipi had everything we needed the compost loo had the best view we have ever seen and Amanda and husband were great very helpful and friendly 10/10 5* We have just got back from a fantastic break at Plas Tirion Retreat........Amanda was a great host. We enjoyed great facilities, super views and some lovely walks along the Anglesey Coastal Path......we did manage a couple of stops at The Bull in Pentraeth and The Ship in Red Wharf Bay......we'll definitely be going back again......
  • A fantastic location with simple and we'll functioning facilities, and a very thoughtful host. Lots of great walks along the coastal path. Visit the ancient monuments, refresh and relax. We also loved eating at the Ship Inn across Red Wharf Bay. An excellent place to visit.

  • What an amazing space in a beautiful location. The bell tent and kitchen are so well equipped with a comfy bed, chairs, cosy rugs and bedside tables. The kitchen has everything you could need on a glamping trip. Amanda was a fantastic host, she made sure we had everything we needed, communicated with us as we wished throughout our stay and was just generally so welcoming! The site is beautiful with views of red wharf bay, and close to Pentreath. Could not recommend enough :-)

    Sarah2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in this lovely teepee over Easter weekend. It was lovely...exactly as pictured in this quiet secluded spot with fabulous views of Red Wharf Bay and beyond. We did lovely walks each day- one straight out from our teepee as it has the Anglesey coastal trail on its doorstep. We enjoyed meals in both the local The Panton Arms and The Ship. We also cooked one night on the camping facilities that were easy to use and have everything you could need to cook! Amanda was so helpful and replied to our messages quickly. We had ample supply of wood for the log burner to keep us warm at night. It was a very cold weekend, and we were glad we bought our thermals as we needed them at night. It was our first ‘glamping’ experience and we definiately do it again, particularly when the weather is a bit temporomental!

    Anna2018-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Had a brilliant Anniversary, Amanda was a great host who has such a lovely tipi in a great location, highly recommend..

    Michael2018-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I stayed here last weekend and Amanda was great at hosting us! We really enjoyed our stay despite the reallt bad weather, but Amanda made sure we had everything we needed and checked in to ask if we needed anything else before it went dark which was so thoughtful of her! It was great when we went and no doubt it is beautiful there in the summer!

    Jodie2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous location! What an adventure! Facilities were lovely (especially the shower). Wish we had time to stay for longer. Amanda is very welcoming and friendly- a perfect host really!

  • Came here for some downtime and this peaceful and tranquil location certainly fit the Bill. Amanda is an excellent host and every attention to detail is met. Our place is a short drive to the beach, restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, public transport, cycle path network, Anglesey coastal path, Snowdonia, Mountains, Zipworld. You’ll love our place because of all the space - so much of it. This site is good for couples, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets). We are a seriously chill out, relax and switch off site with NO electricity but plenty of creature comforts to aid the relaxation!
We are about a two minute drive to the seaside town of Beaumaris or a half an hour walk on country lanes.

  • Really nice place, away from everything but close enough, great to be able to access the mountains from the tent.

  • Everything we needed was provided for. A lovely touch having towels for all of us. Our 2 boys 12 & 4 had a great time all the space to wander around. Everything was clean & tidy. We had 2 great days here. A bit of a walk to the toilets in the morning for me as I always need it as soon as I get up, but husband & boys had no complaints. The views are simply stunning. Felt as ease as soon as we got there as Andrea & John are lovely & John was very knowledgeable.

    Paula2016-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place with fantastic views and in a fantastic location. Literally no complaints or criticisms whatsoever. Clean, tidy, everything was easily accessible and everything worked. Andrea put me and my fiancée up at the last minute after our original tent was wrecked by the weather. She even let us use their shed to dry all of our wet gear. Our tent (Helyg) was beautifully appointed, clean, warm and comfortable and we did not want for anything. Andrea made us feel very welcome and saved our holidays.

    Owain2017-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely gorgeous location. The yurts have all you could need, including things like water bottles and extra blankets. The yurts are done really nicely and are all privately spaced apart. Shower and toilet facilities were excellent and the sound of birdsong in the morning was a lovely wake up. We would definitely come again!

    Penny2017-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our (Email hidden by Airbnb) ing from a farming background myself and now living it London, it was like a home from home. The tent itself was faultless with everything we needed and more, hot water bottles were a great idea. Bathrooms were spotless and the access to hot water and electricity was very useful. Beautiful setting with the lovely Fly the collie who kept popping over to say hello. Great communication from Andrea all the way through and a lovely welcome from her husband when we arrived. Thanks for having us and I would highly recommend, was a great experience.

    Nicola2017-09-02T00:00:00Z

  • Showed up at 10pm (ok'd it with Norah first) and her husband (presumably) was there to great me and show me the tent, bathrooms, and showers. Tent rental included a sleeping bag, a thin ground pad, and a small lantern. It rained all weekend, but the tent stayed relatively dry considering. All-in-all, great value. Didnt have to set up a tent at 10pm or worry about drying it out before I packed it away. Just showed up and slept in it. Definitely will stay here again.

    Kat2018-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first proper foray into camping and was very rewarding! Norah our host was lovely - she was there to show us around and even allowed us an extra pitch free of charge because the tent provided was a tad too small! Our dog had the run of the field and had a ball! The location was absolutely spectacular - every way you looked it was beautiful - mountainous territory 360 degrees! Lots of sheep just wandering about too as it is a working farm! We will definitely go back again!

  • We enjoyed our stay in the lovely cocoon and the wonderful surroundings. It's just beautiful! Very good place to walk in the mountains!

    Morgane2018-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • The site was easy to find and had all the amenities expected of a camp site, but with breath taking views! We stayed here in order to climb Tryfan and it is perfectly located. It was so nice coming back from a cold day on the mountain and sitting by a fire enjoying a cuppa made on a kelly kettle! Kirsty even provided a couple of gas stoves so cooking was really easy. The land pod had everything we needed and stayed really warm even though it was really windy and rainy. I would thoroughly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to get hands on with the outdoors but with a few creature comforts!

    Nathan2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great location in the heart of Snowdonia, Tryfan at your doorstep, lovely sheep and cat neighbours, great campsite facilities - would definitely stay again!

    Ravi2018-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • It was a wonderful stay in the heart of nature. The firepit was amazing and the hosts are super welcoming! I'd recommend bringing a sleepingbag if you get cold as fast as me (my friend didn't need one). The perfect place for lots of adventures.

I had one of the best sleeps in the bed that I've had in a while too. Highly recommended and would love to visit again!

Adam was a great host and was always so quick to message back if we had any questions. The Cabins are dog friendly and there is a place on site for dogs on days where you are doing activities. Thanks again Adam!

  • Lovely stay on Andreas farm! Took my boyfriend for a secret weekend away here and he loved it. We stayed in the Derw tent and it was just as pictured! Showers/toilet facilities were great and clean only thing to note is that it is on a working farm so when it rains there is mud (to be expected)But it's not muddy near the tents so no worries about that! Just make sure you bring wellies :). Next time we stay we will definitely use the BBQ hut. Sad to be home but it was a great part of our trip of exploring wales!

    Megan2017-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • this was our first time staying in a bell tent, we had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend staying here.

  • We were lucky to get a place during the busy bank holiday week. Andrea’s place is amazing! Everything you need for camping is there. We literally just turned up with clothes and food. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and although it was a bit chilly at night, it wasn’t uncomfortable in the tent as there were plenty of blankets. The bbq hut was great! Everything was thoroughly thought of. We’ll definitely be back with family and friends!

    Lila2018-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • My partner & I stayed here for a birthday weekend and we were more than pleased with our stay. Andrea and Jon were brilliant hosts. They had really covered everything. The glamping tents are super cosy, even during the windiest of nights!! The toilets and showers were really warm and clean. Location was perfectly hidden in the hills. We were met by a gorgeous crowd of the farm animals which being an animal lover was a huge bonus! A lovely romantic break away. Thank you both x

  • I can't say enough nice things about this place. The tents are amazing, comfortable, and very well prepared. They have anything and everything you could possibly want/need waiting there for you. The Griffith family is incredibly nice and willing to help with anything in order to make your stay more enjoyable. The farm has beautiful views and is walking distance to a pub and convenience store nearby (bring cash). The shower and bathroom are very nice and comfortable. Perhaps my most enjoyable airbnb experience and I hope to return someday. Thanks Andrea!

Beautiful views and sunsets! Lovely comfy bed and warm duvet with extra blankets provided! Great stay!

  • We were given a warm welcome despite turning up a lot later than expected. Everything that we needed for our stay was provided and the views from the tent we wonderful: the mountains of Snowdonia and right across Anglesey. The tents are spread out over a couple of fields, so it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. A great place to stay.

    Graham2017-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Andrea and John are the perfect hosts. They made us feel tremendously welcome and went out of their way to improve our stay at every opportunity. Their farm is beautiful, with dogs and cats roaming around to play with and a great view over the hills. The tent was beautifully kitted out. Beds were very comfortable. You had all you needed, from milk to a portable stove to a fire pit outside your tent. I would definitely recommend this place for getting out into the wilderness and exploring the hills. We chose to climb Snowdon, which was amazing.

  • On arrival we were met by Andrea's husband who was very helpful! Showed us to our tent and left us to it, everything was provided which was fantastic, they really have thought of everything! Fab distance to Snowdon and Zipworld which we completed. Both were Fab, would definitely stay here again!

    Sammi2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely few days here - the tent and facilities were great - everything we needed and all super clean and cosy. As there are just 3 tents in a huge area, it was so private and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The kids spent hours just climbing trees and running around the huge area. The views were spectacular from the mountains of Snowdonia to the sea sparkling in the distance. Andrea was accommodating to all our needs and queries and very helpful in recommending local places to visit. Would definitely stay here again.

  • A modern, very clean space in an unusual location. The tent was well equipped and we certainly didn't 'rough it'. Bedding was warm and beds very comfortable. Could not take the car up to the tent which wasn't a problem for us. The main car park was within a short walking distance from the tent (up a hill). Great en-site activities and we would certainly recommend the mine tour. Would recommend this place for a family wanting a 'different' experience. All the staff were friendly and most Welsh speaking which was nice. Communication from the host was superb! Diolch am 2 noson arbennig! Cafodd y plant brofiad wrth eu boddau.

  • This is a fantastic base for exploring North Wales. We climbed Snowdon and only stayed 2 nights - we could have stayed a month! The tent is Uber cool! Decked out like a boutique hotel And with everything you could possibly want for a short stay. There were only 2 of us but next time we’ll be back with the whole family.

A beautiful location in a rugged landscape filled with amazing views and extraordinary industrial heritage. Our tents sleep four or five people and are suitable for families or small groups of friends. A destination for adventurous visitors, the tents are situated on a steep hillside overlooking valleys and the historic quarry. These tents are right at the heart of North Wales exciting tourist attraction, Llechwedd Deep Mine Tour, Quarry Explorer, Zip World and Antur Stiniog.
Please be advised, the tents are situated on a very steep hillside. Due to this, walking from the site to your tent can be strenuous however transport is available but may be a delayed during busy periods.
  • Clean, cosy, well equipped and friendly space. sat on the balcony in the early evening watching the last zip liners against a spectacular back drop.
