Great location, walking distance from the beautiful beach, quiet place, Fernanda is a fantastic host and makes you a nice breakfast. Fresh fruits in the garden, just yummy! Jacyra has a lovely home filled with charm and nature. She was the most perfect host who went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Her breakfasts and dinner was truly amazing and went out of her way to cater to our vegan needs :o) Thank you for a wonderful time!

We spent one amazing night at Jacyra's place. The house is beautiful and Jacyra is an excellent cook. We also had real intersting talks! Highly recommend.

Great stay at Jacyra's. She welcomed us warmly and offered diner the first day because we were in such heartful discussions that all the restaurants around us closed. The breakfast prepared by Jacyra is awesome with lots of homemade products. Nicely located in a safe condo with the beach as the backyard. It is also good to know that Jacyra speaks fluent English and has two big dogs (german shepards).

Jacyra is an incredibly gracious host. She is very fun to sit down to talk with and is an incredible cook. She has a very lovely home.

An amazing place that was fare beond our exspectations. The info is well described and accurate. Jacyra is so nice and friendly and did her best to meet our wants and make it a good stay for us. She welcomed us as her friend and invited us to a lot of sosial get togethers. She makes so good food and the Breakfast was amazing with a lot different food and brazilian specialities. She was really helpful and learn us a lot about the Bahian culture. The bedroom was really nice, as the rest of the house. Do not be afraid of visiting this place if you do not speak portugees, Jacyra speak english, german, portugees and even swedish. You must not be afraid of dogs as they are big and watches over the house. But they are really nice! Hope we can come back One day!

Projetada, contruida e decorada pela propria Jacyra Calheira. Fui recebida com um lanchinho saboroso com paezinhos caseiros e suco de frutas, feito na hora. A Jacyra é muito mais que uma anfintriã, é uma pessoa (URL HIDDEN) seu carinho e estórias interessantes e divertidas sobre a vida. O café da manhã foi super especial com comidas e frutas típicas da regiao, com o toque gourmet que só a Jacyra sabe dar. Eu super recomendo este (URL HIDDEN) certeza voltarei muitas outras vezes. Ah, quando passar por aqui, não deixe de provar as Marmeladas temperadas com especiarias; os Licores de Frutas da terra; os pães caseiros; e tantas outras guloseimas caseiras feitas pela própria anfitriã de maneira artesanal e sem aditivos químicos. The trip was long and tiring, but when arriving at the Jacyra's house , was getting in paradise. The room that Jacyra has offered me was super clean, tidy with care, clean sheets and towels and fragrant. The house is lovely and welcoming. Designed, Constructed and decorated by the very Jacyra Calheira. I was greeted with a tasty snack with homemade breads and freshly fruit juice. Jacyra is much more than a anfintriã, she is a lovely person. With your love and fun and interesting stories about life. The breakfast was super special with typical foods and fruits of the region, with gourmet touch that only Jacyra knows how to do . I super recommend this space. Certainly I come back many times. Oh, when you going through here, be sure to taste the spicy marmalades ; Liqueurs the land fruits; homemade breads; and many other homemade goodies made by the host of craft and without chemical additives.

Staying at Gabi, Carlos and Mel's house was like finding a home away from home. We booked 2 nights, but ended up staying 5 days and it felt like visiting good friends. They did everything to make us enjoy our stay - among others by cooking wonderful meals, taking us on boat tours to pristine, beautiful beaches, showing us all the best of Ilha Itaparica - and by telling us about all their great and important projects to preserve and safe the nature/wild life of the island. We will miss them!

The coincidence of interest in the choice of making the planet Earth better and better, was a high point of the meeting with the Green Corner, if you want to feel part of the movement to improve the world, go meet him! In Cacha nails, natural landscapes, beautiful and deep respect for nature environment, they made our stay an illustrated chapter. Our hosts gave us a perfect support for our ultimate vacation; exchanging recipes with Gabi, its delicious dishes, hairstyles and braids with Mel unprecedented ... and Carlos monitoring "general" to always be presented in the best in every time and circumstance of the day. I recommend!

Carlos, Gabi and Mel gave us an impressive attention. They opened their house for us. They are excellent people, and the place is the paradise itself. They are highly recommended.

A lovely family who gave us all the necessary apparatus, showed us beautiful places, good food like the Spice restaurants (Best cost-benefit ratio), Juremar with great food and friendliness in service, Caiambá has great fried and visual fish with coconut and Foot on the sand. Also worried about around us, etc. We hope to return!

Where to start with this amazing place?! We spent two days with Gabie, Carlos and Mel and we are wishing we spent longer. They are some of the best people you will meet. The room is a perfect retreat; very peaceful, safe and comfortable. We were spoilt with homemade treats and plenty of interesting conversation. The area is also amazing, with a beautiful beach right outside their gate for a swim. You will not be disappointed with this place and family. If you want to have a relaxing time, see some amazing things and meet great people then you should stay here! We wish we could go back.

The stay at Carlos was by far the best experience I ever had with airbnb. He had lunch ready when we arrived and organised a trip with his fishing boat to a completly lonely paradise beach. He made us feel at home cooked for us and organised a ride to the airport for us. not to mention that he drove all the way form north Bahia just for us. I can only recommend this house with to anybody staying on Itaparica. I have to say I also found a friend in Carlos and went back to Vienna with a lot more insights on Brasil due to the conversations with him. Overall he does really and deeply care about his guests.

We loved these hosts and their shore side AirBnB so much that we stayed and extra day! Carlos, Gabi and Mel are very generous and welcoming hosts. They will enhance your life and your stay on Itaparica will sooth away the stresses of Salvador.

Firstly you must include in a life time the opportunity to visit Carlos, Gabi and Mel. These hosts are truly committed to Eco tourism and if you are interested can open your awareness to the joys and opportunities of natures bounty. Their accommodation is very comfortable and private. We fell love this family and Itaparica.

A casa é bastante espaçosa, os quartos são bem amplos (exatamente como está nas fotos), condomínio super tranquilo. Acesso à praia pelo condomínio. Praia linda e paradisíaca! O condomínio fica um pouco longe do centrinho (tem que ir de carro), onde tem mercadinhos, farmácia, padaria. A casa está muito bem conservada, mas a limpeza deixou a desejar e o cheiro de mofo estava muito forte, apesar de não termos visto mofo, talvez pela umidade e por estar a muito tempo fechado!

Los arrendadores amable y acogedor, que se les dio toda la ayuda necesaria. Deben, sin embargo, estar al tanto de mantenimiento eléctrico. Tuvimos problemas con la bañera de hidromasaje que no podía utilizarse porque le dio una descarga. Las duchas eléctricas y tomas interiores que dejaron de trabajar fueron reparadas por un electricista.
