Cemetery
“So it may sound a little odd that one of our top tips is a local cemetery but just hold on a second... Arnos Vale is a absolutely beautiful Victorian Garden cemetery just over the road from Paintworks. It’s an idillic park/woodland retreat in the heart of a bustling city and really a must see whilst you’re staying with us. The cemetery received a £5 million Heritage Lottery grant recently and is now a wonderful community space, perfect for a weekend walk or reading the papers on their terrace with a latte and a slice of cake (yes, it has its very own cafe bar). Open 10-4pm every day. ”
