  • Jill’s cabin is so ideal for a New England weekend getaway! The cabin is so homey and has spectacular views. Everything from the fire pit, to Lake Harvey, to the surrounding outdoors is wonderful. We came up in the fall to enjoy the foliage and weren’t disappointed! 10/10 would recommend and will visit again in the future!

  • Lovely quiet cabin with beautiful views of the lake, we especially loved the loons and eagles every morning while we enjoyed our coffee! The bathroom had hot water and great pressure. The communication was good and checking in and out was simple. We would visit again.

Spend the night in a 1785 farmhouse, replete with the charm of antique wall paper and well-worn floors. Tucked away in a quiet valley just three minutes from Peacham center, the farmstead complex has been maintained as a formerly operating dairy farm with the Cabot Creamery Cooperative. Enjoy rich spring greens or golden autumn hues on the 200-year-old maples out front. Take a stroll through the apple orchard to visit the A-frame cabin on the property, and enjoy fresh, local breakfast treats.
In addition to a downstairs shared bath with shower, the upstairs queen room has access to a half bath with a clawfoot tub. Use of kitchen on an individual basis may be allowed upon inquiry. Coffee and tea is provided throughout your stay. Enjoy an evening in the Adirondack chairs on the patio in the fragrant lilac garden, if you like.
If you're looking to get out for breakfast or lunch, pop down into town for a bite at the Peacham Cafe. Snap a photo of the most photographed church in the New England, or enjoy a local story hour at the Peacham Library. Or, just enjoy a stroll on the quiet, winding roads from our home.
  • Ian and Gretchen’s place was even better than the pictures, and they were warm and welcoming. Their farm in Vermont was a great weekend getaway from the hustle of Boston. It was so relaxing to put our feet up by a real wood burning stove, like a trip back in time. The house is from the 1780s and even better than the pictures, super charming and full of interesting historical touches and plants. Gretchen made us a wonderful breakfast and offered home made baked goods and tea at other times, as well as recommendations of where to eat in the area. There is a beautiful claw foot bathtub by the guest bedroom, though we didn’t get the chance to use it. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

  • Gretchen and Ian were very kind and communication was thoughough and thoughtful!!

    Mary2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • If you want to unwind, detach and have a simple but amazing weekend this is the spot. Tucked in a cute valley, the farmhouse is worthy of a museum. Absolutely authentic and stunning. Exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend. And then of course there are the hosts who were thoughtful, great to talk to and gave us loads of suggestions of what to do. I recommend to anyone who cares about great atmosphere and ‘slowing it down.’

    Mark2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Cool barn, with a great story hosted by great people. Awesome history! We hope to be back.

    Dan2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay here. Gretchen is a great host and was very hospitable. The furniture, plants, and decorations had a lot of thought put into them. We'll probably stay here again in the spring next time we're in the area!

    Brandon2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful old quirky farm house tucked into the hills around Peacham and Barnet. A warm bed, hot shower, and warm hospitality.

    Mike2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for a step back in time you will love this place. When we first arrived I was greeted right away by Gretchen who immediately made us feel right at home. She gave us a tour up to our room. I was memorized by the furniture, and all the details of the home, inside an out. The walk around the homestead was more than I imagined. When you walk back to the A frame tiny house and look back at the farm with the foliage in the background, it is absolutely breathtaking. In the morning we woke up and Ian made us breakfast in the kitchen with nice conversation. We would love another trip with a stay here in the future.

    Sabrina2019-10-14T00:00:00Z

Peacefully situated in the rural landscape of quaint Danville VT this open concept log home features views of the white mountains and end of the road tranquility. Surrounded by 142 acres of VT and super starry skies at night, you will enjoy peace at last. 1 double bed in downstairs bedroom, 1 double bed upstairs in the loft, and 1 pull out couch double bed downstairs in the office. Wifi, and cell service! Laundry. Hot Tub.
Welcome to my part-time home. You will find the cabin homey, friendly and slightly unfinished. Full bath downstairs with clawfoot tub and big shower. The upstairs 1/2 bath is utilitarian and the base cabinet is a bit unfinished, but does the job. The cabin is open concept and the loft and office beds, although private, are open to the common areas. The kitchen has pots and pans, glasses, plates, toaster oven, gas range, french press and coffee grinder, etc. Feel free to open drawers to find the tools you are looking for. The VAST (Vermont Association of Snow Travelers) trail runs across my property (look for the flags as you enter the field). If you have a snowmobile you are welcome to bring it and cruise the trails or just have fun. There are trails on the property and great XC skiing and snowshoeing.
Danville is a quaint yet accessible VT town with a population of 2,000 or so. You are approximately 45 minutes to the capitol of Montpelier, 30 minutes to Burke Mountain, and less than 10 minutes to picturesque Peacham, VT. You are also 5 minutes to the new Red Barn Brewery just down Oneida Road. Places to visit downtown include The Creamery restaurant, Barrel To Bottle wine and Cheese shop, Bentleys bakery for some treats, or check out The Danville Inn for breakfast. Also there is a cute public skating rink in the center of Danville just North of the stoplights in town. Or Joes Pond or Harveys Lake for swimming in the summer. If you are looking for more stuff to do check out what's going on in St. Johnsbury (URL HIDDEN)
  • One of the best Airbnb that I have ever been. Clean, quiet and lots of amenities also her cat is very cute!

    Ornpawee2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing views, quiet cabin set back in the woods.

    Amanda2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing cabin! Wonderful views, hot tub, nice walking trail, and a friendly cat. Very much enjoyed our visit.

    Kirsten2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely amazing getaway cabin! The home was so warm and inviting as soon as you walk in. Between the beautiful property, stunning views of the White Mountains, amazing amenities, and a tentative host that recommended wonderful food options and hikes - our trip was fabulous to say the least. We loved the cabin so much we didn't want to leave in the morning! I highly recommend this gem of a home tucked away in VT.

    Paige2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! Evangelyn was very responsive and thorough with leaving info on your stay and what you can do. There’s a cat and he’s the sweetest thing ever. He made the stay even better!

    Kelli2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was wonderful. As we drove up the dirt road to the cabin it was completely surrounded by woods. Then after maybe a quarter of a mile opens to a vast field with views of Mt Washington. How awesome is that. We enjoyed the hot tub at night looking up at the stars and milky way. The cabin is spacious, clean and has plenty of everything you'd need and more. We would recommend to friends and family. We would love to stay again on our next trip up to VT.

    Danielle2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • This gorgeous log home is absolutely perfect for a quiet, peaceful getaway. Reading in the hot tub with beautiful views...I couldn't ask for more!

    Nicole2019-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures don't this place justice! It's beautiful. In our down time, we loved sitting on the back porch with our drinks and a nice fire, admiring the amazing view of the country side. Evangelyn was very nice and quick to respond, and her cottage had everything we needed. While we were in Danville, we visited a local waterfall recommended to us by Evangelyn's father (15 minutes away), and then we hiked Mount Pisgah and went for a swim in Lake Willoughby (45 minutes away). It was an amazing trip with a perfect combination of relaxation and adventure. Highly recommended if you're visiting this area of Vermont!

Beautiful Carriage House apartment; first floor, private entrance, private deck at rear, lots of parking, in a Currier and Ives-like Vermont village.
The Carriage House has an open kitchen, living room that is warm and inviting, and conducive to conversations around the island while cooking in the gorgeous kitchen. Beam and barn wood add to its rustic, farmhouse appeal.
Bikers, runners and walkers are part of village life. People visit the beautiful McIndoes Academy next door to pick up mail or pick out a new book from the library.
  • After our second stay at the Carriage House, we can only yell it louder: this is a fabulous place and Lesley and Jack are tremendous hosts! We look forward to returning for a third time and more.

    Landis2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at the carriage house is by far one of our favorite experiences. Lesley and Jack (and Finn) made our stay memorable and perfect. We brought along our two golden retrievers and both Lesley and Jack gave us some tips for places our pups would love. From the breakfasts that were served to the warm brownies we arrived to, our stay was unforgettable. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

    Matthew2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful apartment in a great location. We easily hosted friends for dinner, rode our bikes around the sweet little town, and generally enjoyed the beauty of New England. The amenities were wonderful - Lesley thought of all the little things we might need during our stay.

    Tonya2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Vermont at Leslie and Jack’s carriage house! The space was perfect and our dog Mak thoroughly enjoyed meeting Finn and spending some time in the open fields. Not to mention home made breakfast was a wonderful addition to the trip! Highly recommend the area and a stay here.

    Lisa2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • A true quality AirBnB experience! Lesley was so gracious and thoughtful adding nice touches like a bottle of wine set out when we arrived and a bright vest for our pup if we wanted to go hiking with him. Our pup felt right at home with bowls, a bed, and plenty of treats! The space was amazing, large and had everything you could need. And, Lesley made us delicious homemade breakfast! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. What are you waiting for? Book this place now, you won’t regret it!

    Justin & Jen2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Carriage house is a lovely, very clean, nicely and modernly appointed space. Lesley is a great host!

    Catya2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Our weekend stay at the carriage house was wonderful! Agree with other reviewers that the pictures don’t do justice to how stylish and spacious the space is. It’s really a very cute separate space with just enough privacy while still being close so that the delicious breakfasts arrive hot. We took the suggestion to try out the Kingdom Taproom nearby for dinner and were not disappointed. Had a great overall stay with very friendly hosts! Thank you!

    Kate2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • The Carriage House at Lesley’s was absolutely perfect! Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable... I can’t say enough nice things! Lesley is a wonderful host and makes a delicious breakfast for her guests! We had a great time and would love to visit again soon!

  • I stay often at Melissa's place when I'm in the Northeast Kingdom for outdoor activities. Her place is cozy and Melissa is an all star host. Definitely recommended!

    Chris2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa's place was perfect for our little hiking holiday in the Whites! The room was comfy and warm and we had everything we needed. We arrived late after bad traffic on the way up and Melissa was very accommodating with helping us check in anyway. Also, their dogs and kitties are super cute! Would recommend :)

  • Great spot as always!

    Joyce2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • I’ve stayed at Melissa’s place several times (work related) ans it’s always a pleasure. Do be aware that in the winter it is necessary to park your car up a hill away from the house. If you are mobility limited, this could be an issue.

    Kel2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa and Bob's place is cozy and quintessentially Vermont. They are both very friendly and laidback. Great proximity to Saint J, value, and communication. The sweet pets are a bonus as well! Will be staying here again- highly recommend!

    Joyce2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa and Bob were great hosts. We were looking for an affordable place to sleep and shower before hiking and their home was perfect. Despite no heat upstairs we stayed perfectly warm with a space heater and electric blanket. We loved their two dogs and cats. Melissa and Bob were kind and welcoming. They offered us coffee and fruit in the morning.

This spacious, well-stocked, immaculate RV with large picture windows provides grand views of the impressive Connecticut River and local mountains. The RV is situated on a scenic, private waterfront property that provides easy access to launch our canoes and kayaks into the river. The guests gain access to the property through a quiet neighborhood, past a farm with an old barn, and down a private right of way.
The property is yours to explore and use freely, as though it were your own. We provide lawn games such as badminton, lawn bocce, bean bag toss, croquet, plenty of indoor games, DVD's w/ player, puzzles, books, etc. There are kayaks and canoes for you to borrow, free of charge, down by the river's edge (just please don't forget to put your life jackets on before heading out). You can explore the river up and downstream between the two dams, and you can explore the islands as well. The adventurous can pull their canoes out of the river and walk around the dam to continue on their journey upstream. Fishing is a great activity out on the river with an abundance of fresh water fish for the catching! You'll enjoy cooking up some juicy steaks on the gas grill while sitting out at your picnic table while taking in the breathtaking views of the river. In the evening, you can kick back and have smores while sharing stories around the campfire. Before you retire for the night, be impressed by the awesome northern night sky with such vibrant, bright stars and constellations like you've never seen before!
This location is very rural with chicken and dairy farms scattered across the landscape. The neighborhood that our guests pass through has a dozen or so private properties. The backdrop to the neighborhood is Hunt Mountain where guests can hike and enjoy the beauty of a brook running down off the mountain. The town of Monroe is located halfway between Woodsville, NH and Littleton, NH, both towns with plenty of shopping and services for our guest's convenience.
  • We had an absolutely wonderful experience. We reached there on a really cold night. Susan and Jeff made sure that the RV was ready with heating. The bed was comfortable and the RV was super cozy. The camper has everything you need. If you need anything else, Susan and Jeff are just a text away. They were very helpful and sweet! We hope to be there sometime in summer as well! Highly recommend this for a nice getaway.

    Harini2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • My best friend and I stayed one night and instantly wished we booked and stayed for an entire weekend. Susan and her husband were super hospitable and made us feel right at home. We got in on a really cold night and were so grateful to arrive to a cozy RV! The property was beautiful and my favorite part (besides the super cute and friendly dogs) was the panoramic window that looks out onto the lake. If you want a tranquil place that has pure beauty and accommodating hosts... this is the place for you. I can't wait to go back!

    Martaluz2019-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • The camper has everything you need. The bed was really comfortable, and the property is in a beautiful location. Nice little getaway--especially great for couples or for someone looking for place to relax.

    Peter2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I chose to stay in the RV placed in this super scenic spot. We arrived late in the night, yet it was easy to locate - thanks to the clear instructions provided by Susan. Usually, I enjoy stargazing when I go far from cities, and this place allowed me to do precisely that as soon as I reached - perfect to my liking. It’s so scenic and close to nature. The RV is clean and has all the required amenities. The hosts (Susan and Jeff) quickly responded to the situation when the furnace didn’t function, even in the late hours. They immediately provided us a space heater that night to help us warm up and stay comfortable. Besides that, they gave us an option to move to the nearby loft (which was beautiful) and provided us refund for a night. I stayed during the peak Fall, and this was undoubtedly one of the best spots to stay during that time.

    Dinesh2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was an absolute wonderful stay. The view is amazing and the property is just beautiful. We were able to easily prepare meals. The location is perfect for all your trips. We were close to the white mountains and the green mountains and we even had a short trip to the coast. We will definitely be staying here again!

    Serenity2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • I definitely recommend staying here for anyone thinking about it! Lovely place and extremely comfortable bed.

    Kristy2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Susan and Jeff have a beautiful property on the Connecticut River. We stayed for 2 nights while doing some hiking in Franconia Notch. It was absolutely perfect. The RV is situated facing the river so you have incredible views of Vermont, the sun setting over the hills and morning fog rising from the river. The RV is located in Susan’s yard (which we knew) but it is just far enough away from the house and situated so that you have plenty of privacy while hanging inside or out by the fire pit. It is super clean and cozy...well stocked with supplies if needed. We forgot coffee so the Keurig was a bonus. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

  • Great place to enjoy the solitude of nature in the winter (if that's your thing!).

  • Bess’s guest suite exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for a cozy, quiet stay in the most picturesque of settings, this could be the place for you. The space was inviting and warm, with plenty of thoughtful touches and quite the collection of scripts for reading. It’s convenient to get to nearby hiking spots, and a nice space to come back to if you wanted to venture further out into VT. Bess is wonderful to communicate with. We would love to come back someday!

    Lauren2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • What a great spot. Have been to the NEK for years and this is the best Air BnB that I have stayed in. The views are spectacular, especially in foliage season. As quiet a place as you could ask for. Centrally locate for all activities. Be sure to visit the cemetery in Peacham center, it is one of the best views in Vermont. Just a wonderful place to stay.

    Michael2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to stay. It was perfect for the purpose of our trip. Bess's airb&b has a fantastic view in the early morning. Due to time difference, I awoke before dawn and would watch the sun come up on the patio.

    Allison2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures do not do this place justice! This place felt like a home away from home - it was so comfortable, relaxing, and cozy. I honestly can't believe how affordable it is too, considering how beautiful our view was and how much privacy we had. Bess is lovely and accommodating - she is easy to get a hold of and so nice, especially when I was a big dope and booked our stay for the wrong days! Thankfully the extra day we needed was available, and she was very understanding. You are missing out if you don't stay here, it will make your trip that much better!

16 feet by 24 feet, 1 1/2 story This rustic log cabin has been lovingly redone with French doors that lead to a large new cedar deck. Inside, climbs the steps to a sleeping loft with a queen sized bed and a dormer window that lets the moonlight in. Adding to the charm of this cabin are its antiques and comfortable country style furniture. This is a popular cabin for dog lovers who want to bring their best four-footed friend along on vacation. Please note: Linens and towels are not provided!
Located in a rural area of Vermont, Cabin 13 sits directly on Harvey's Lake.
We live in a rural town with a small convenience store. St. Johnsbury, VT is about 15 minutes away with restaurants and shops. Littleton, NH is about 30 minutes away, as well.
  • Had a fabulous stay at this cabin. Two nights for just me and my 2 dogs enabled us to attend the Fall Dog Mountain party outside St. Johnsbury. Cabin was very clean, exactly as described. I found the stairs to the left bedroom too steep for the dogs so I used the pull out couch/futon which had the added advantage of a fabulous lake view.

    Ginny2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin we stayed at was very cosy, romantic and close to the lake. We enjoyed the view, had a chance to use the kayaks there and eat real organic veggies from the farm stand near by. Make sure you get all the places you want to go to on a screenshot map cause you will really experience the nature there and no connection with the world 😉

    Maya2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfect! I visited with a friend and my dog. The area is absolutely beautiful, and the cabin was so cute! It was exactly what we were looking for. It's located on a beautiful, clean lake. The cabin was clean and the perfect size for 2 plus a Lab. My Lab probably had the most fun out of everyone. There was a small snafu with check-in but Kathryn very quickly remedied the situation. It did not have any effect on our stay. We will be back! And I will recommend to friends, especially those with dogs.

    Alexandra2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • No wifi or cell service, no fancy decor, no linens and towels. What you can expect is beauty, peace and quiet, connection with nature, and a chance to remember what really counts in life.

    Tanya2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Simple cabin with most basic amenities on a gorgeous lake. No cell service, but that was sorta the point of the trip. There’s a small convenience store very close by where you could grab anything you forget. Great host that respects privacy while being readily available. The dog loved the cabin as well! If I’m in the area again, l’ll absolutely look for availability here.

    Erin2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great communication and responded quickly to any questions I had! Cute place with a beautiful view!

  • My husband and I had a wonderful stay at cabin #13. We were being spontaneous and booked it the day of and she was totally accommodating even as we confirmed halfway up 93. It’s dog friendly, which was awesome and the space was perfect for two. The photos don’t do the cabin or the lake view justice, both exceeded our expectations. The fire pit is awesome and we cooked out every night, but there is also a small kitchen with some pots and pans is you want to cook some sides on the stove top. Overall and amazing getaway off the grid.

    Dana2018-08-13T00:00:00Z

  • My first Airbnb experience and it was more than I could hope for! Corbie was supper considerate and understanding and I felt so comfortable and cozy the whole weekend. The place was spotless and the view was impeccable. Me and my girlfriend will definitely be back in the summer to take advantage of the lake access!

  • We’ve only stayed here in the winter but it is wonderfully relaxing and picturesque. Having the trail nearby is a huge plus for snowmobiling. We again enjoyed our trip....

The 'Airbus' is a vintage 1987 Volkswagen Syncro Vanagon. The Vanagon is set up on a platform in the trees, with a beautiful view of Mount Washington! It has a private bathroom with hot shower, sink and compost toilet. The van has a comfty bed , a mini fridge and small table. There is also a small heater for cooler nights. Outside table with chairs under an umbrella as well.
Our place is in the White Mountain region, with beautiful views of the Presidential range. Many hiking trails are within 15 minutes. Also we are within 10 minutes of several breweries, restaurants and pubs in Littleton and Bethlehem, NH.
  • Dan's place is right out of a movie, with such a wonderful setup, a great experience, and is very comfortable. Dan is friendly and accomodating. His property is like a museum. Highly recommend.

  • Daniel was an incredible host for the entire trip. The Airbus is also a wonderful experience, not in the least bit uncomfortable and honestly all the amenities that you need. It’s a great escape and I highly recommend to check this out if you are planning to spend some time in the white mountains.

  • Amazing treehouse. Definitely going to come back there again!

    Oleg2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • WOW. I’m absolutely amazed by Daniels Treehouses. He really put in so much effort and detail and thought into his places. By far our favorite place we stayed on our New England Road trip. It’s glamping at its finest. And surprisingly very warm! The view of the mountains was unreal in the morning. If you’re adventurous and love the camping in the wilderness feel... this is perfect for you.

    Crystal2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Honestly, one of the jazziest setups I’ve ever had the chance to stay in. The weekend was nothing short of amazing. Daniel is an awesome host, the location is super close to the white mountains and the center of town in Littleton, and THE PLACE! An experience everyone’s gotta get a taste of at least once (or a hundred times) in their life. Cozy, breathtaking, romantic, and raw... all at the same time. Kudos for Daniel making this an experience. 10/10 will be back!

14 feet by 24 feet, 1 story Relax in our one story “A frame” studio with 16 foot cathedral ceilings, ceiling fan, and six large windows. Harvey’s Lake is so close that you can almost reach through and touch the cool lake water. It features one full size bed, is handicapped accessible, with a full kitchen, and the “honeymoon” cabin’s bathroom includes a three foot by three foot tiled shower. A perfect romantic hideaway or retreat. Please note: Linens and towels are not provided!
  • This cabin has great views of the lake and much more space than what you would expect from the pictures!

    Ryan2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great get away off the grid . The views are beautiful on the lake. Every cabin is so well kept up. They have canoes and kayaks to use. I thought it so nice that Katherine kept energy bars at the desk for hikers who needed a quick snack . I recommend checking in before before it gets dark and setting GPS at main highway so you can find easier. We will definitely return for another stay. Thank you Kathryn and Lincoln!!

    Deanne2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great little spot for a couple to get away from it all. The cabin is right on the water, with very lovely views. We found the kitchen well equipped for our needs, to make snacks and breakfast. We enjoyed making a fire and sitting outside watching the stars. We also really loved being able to bring our dogs and also made good use of the canoe and stand up paddle boards that were available to guests. Not having phone signal was an added bonus.

    Aimee2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • I was a nervous about staying in a cabin that didn't have photos of the interior posted on the listing, but my fears were unfounded. The cabin was very nice and clean inside. The interior felt spacious and the cathedral windows provided a view of the lake (with only a few trees between us and the view of the water). The temperature dropped to the high 30s at night when we were there, and we appreciated the space heater provided in the cabin that kept us warm throughout the night. We didn't use the kitchen except for the fridge and the tea kettle on the stove in the morning, but it was nice to have the option to cook. I appreciated the reminder to bring sheets and towels with us. I appreciated the lack of cell service/wifi because it really forced us to disconnect and enjoy the beauty of the area. The only thing I wish I had brought with me that I didn't was flip flops for the shower/bathroom area. Because of the way the shower is set up/drains, it can be a little slippery when the floor is wet. I would definitely stay here again if I were traveling in the area.

    Stephanie2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our time in the cabin. The view was fantastic, and the lake was ideal for swimming and kayaking.

    Punit2018-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Harvey's Lake is a wonder, crystal clear lake that is worth a visit and Kathryn's camp ground is equally clean and calm......the cabins were excellent....overall a wonder visit to a wonderful place even if it is just 40 minutes from our home!!!

    Robert2018-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was cute and very quaint! We both had really busy weeks and were appreciative of the quietness. The cabin has everything we needed and more (there were canoes, kayaks and paddle boards that we were able to use). The water was warm, animals were friendly, and there was a nice little fire pit to watch the sun set and rise. The only thing was the neighbors were closer than thought. They seem to have rented most of the cabins out and gathered in the cabin next to ours. They were pretty loud but were very respectful when we asked for some quiet.

    Nina2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • The cabins on Harvey lake are fantastic. They're rustic enough to make you feel you've left society (and the lack of phone/internet connection adds to that) but modern enough that you don't have to go off squatting in the woods or cooking everything over campfire. Stayed as a couple for a few nights in October, which is prime leaf peeping time. I'm sure this is a lovely place in the summer too, with swimming, canoeing, and campfires for s'mores. There are several cabins all together, so it's a good place for large groups spread amongst several cabins, but each cabin is private enough to have your own space. We love it here!!

The cabin is a great place to escape from it all! The custom made cedar hot tub is hot and ready all winter. Cold, snowy nights make for excellent tub time!! Inside the cabin is warm and has the comfort of home. Want to ski? Two ski resorts are 30 minutes from us.
Nestled in the hilled forest behind our home, the Vermont Tree Cabin (16' by 12', 190 sq ft) is a great, quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While lounging on the deck or hot tub, you will be able to enjoy the calm and serenity of the outdoors, but still have the comfort of home in our authentic cabin lodging. Built in 2004, the cabin was temporally used as a home for our family while we built our house. The cabin has been completely renovated with custom tile shower, rustic hickory floors, knotty pine walls/ceiling, a kitchen area including a sink, Induction Hot Plate, small refrigerator, microwave, waffle maker, coffee maker, HD TV, DVD player with small selection of movies, good cell service (ATT & Verizon), 500 gallon custom cedar hot tub, Wireless internet, gas grill, rock fire-pit, picnic table and a 250 sq. ft. deck that is built into and around oak trees. One of our greatest amenities of the cabin is the custom built, white cedar hot tub. Maintained at 100- 104F degrees, the hot tub is ready for your use all year round, 24 hours a day; all you need to do is slide the cover off, relax and enjoy. While relaxing in the tub, be sure to enjoy watching the flames of a fire from the fire pit right off the deck. Our other amenities and services are as follows: Bedding – One full size memory foam bed and one single cot that can be included upon request. Food – Coffee, tea, waffle mix (make your own), Vermont maple syrup. Parking – private driveway and parking area for cabin guests. The cabin is completely insulated and heated, so we invite you to enjoy it any time of the year. Maid service - We do not provide turn down service or housekeeping in the cabin during your visit, but will make adjustments upon request. As we are located in the North East Kingdom of Vermont, the area offers many activities and events for your enjoyment. Our area is well known for some of our Ski Mountains and Resorts including Burke Mountain and Jay Peak. There are many other outdoor activities including boating and paddling, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, etc. But don’t forget to check out some of Vermont’s well-known covered bridges, sugar houses, breweries, and farms as well. P.S. It’s great exercise walking from the parking area to the cabin. It’s only 150 feet away but a beautiful uphill stroll on a mix of well-lit paths and stairs.
Our property is private yet only minutes away from downtown. Saint Johnsbury is a typical small town that has a few shops, restaurants and stores. Most of our guests enjoy outdoor activities when they visit. Hiking and biking trails, ski mountains and lakes are all within 30 minutes of us.
  • this is the perfect relaxing getaway! we had the best time! the hot tub is amazing and waffles were delicious. there is something special about having nothing to do for 2 days :) thank you!

  • Perfect weekend getaway!! Very relaxing.

    Sandra2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew & Marilou's place was exactly as we expected. It was clean & cozy! The fire place & hot tub were perfect as they allowed us to be outside on a cold winter night. Please note, they do not provide firewood, so make sure to bring some (they did sell some at the hardware store). They did provide boozy waffles which were delicious & fun to make on a slow morning! We would definitely come back & we are hoping to check out their other tree house!

    Brittany2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Such a peaceful retreat in Andrew & Marilou's treecabin - clean, quiet, comfortable, and secluded - with the hot tub and the waffles, it was exactly what we needed :) Definitely recommend

  • Andrew and Marilou’s Tree Cabin was a great getaway where we were able to relax and unwind for a few days! Great touches like the hot tub and the delicious waffles made our stay exceptional. We really appreciated the care put into the cabin itself and the hospitality. It was great to see some snow this winter, we’d love to come back to experience Vermont in another season!

    Bryan2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of the most relaxing getaways I've been on. We even took our 3month old and it was so peaceful.

    Timothy2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was the most perfect, unique, serene and adorable little treehouse cabin/location and we could not have had a better time! Ideal little hideout for a short, romantic getaway!! Great experience and extremely clean which we REALLY appreciate!! The waffles were a one of a kind sort of amenity, we enjoyed them SOO much! The Apple jack ones were our favorite! Marilou and Andrew are extremely quick with communication and so very kind and welcoming! They also left TONS of information about the area and all of the funn activities to do! Our absolute FAVORITE and most exciting, beautiful thing we did this weekend was the sleigh ride we went on that was only 30 minutes away!! Thomas and his enormous, handsome Belgium horse, Pete, gave us the best experience we could have ever had on this random little getaway! With blankets, hot chocolate and all, they took us around to the most beautiful sights in VT and gave us a free bottle of their homemade maple syrup!! It is called Chandler Hill Farm on Bayley-Hazen Road in West Danville, VT! Wonderful family! We also got a couple beers and some yummy wood fired pizza at Shillings only about 5 minutes away from the cabin! We even got to stop and hike at the Quechee Gorge on the way home as well!! So much to do and so relaxing all at the same time! :) Do not hesitate to rent this place, you will not regret it!! Best thing we could have ever done, so special. <3

    Samantha2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely serene space. Up, tucked in with the trees with such a calm peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful little cabin with everything you need. The hot tub was perfect while being surrounded by snow! Marliou met us upon arriving and was a great host. There are a few restaurants in the area. Would recommend for a real getaway away from everything!

A cute, snug apartment with private entrance located above our garage . We live in a quiet neighborhood located just off I-91. You will have the whole apartment to yourselves, come and go as you please.
This is a place to come to unplug, as most phone service is hard to get here, and Wifi is not available at this time. No smokers. We cannot accommodate animals.
Our neighborhood is located in a little valley on the Stephens River, which feeds directly into the Connecticut. In fact, from the tiny kitchen window, you have a beautiful view of New Hampshire. The neighbors are friendly, and the village is a great place to walk around.

  • Exactly as expected :) my boyfriend and I visited the ice castles and when we came back, we had a few drinks and he played Candyland for the 1st time! The books and games were a wonderful touch even for those without kids, and I could imagine a godsend for those with them! Convenient stay, hospitable welcome and well worth the price.

I had a wonderful time staying with them and would recommend their beautiful place to anyone interested in exploring the area!

  • I had the pleasure of staying at John and Janet’s accommodations for two nights so I could do some bike riding around Vermont. The check-in process was smooth, and John was mowing the lawn so came by to made sure I figured it out okay. The place was clean, and very quiet (and dark!) at night. I was able to take advantage of the outdoor amenities and relaxed by the stream flowing through their back yard. Janet told me about Harvey lake half a mile down the road, in which I enjoyed a nice refreshing dip after my rides. I will be checking the availability of this Airbnb for my next trip up! Highly recommended.

Located a few miles north of the Village of East Burke off Vermont Route 114, this location offers quick and easy access to Burke Mountain, Kingdom Trials and the VAST trail system. Set on 13 quiet and private acres bordered by the river, it is great for enjoying a waterside campfire, hiking the woods or having a summer swim.
This suite consists of a combination living room, kitchenette, dinette. Also a bathroom and bedroom which sleeps 5 containing a queen bed and a bunk bed with a queen bottom bunk and twin top bunk. Two internet connected TVs are available in the space, one in the bedroom and one in the living room.
  • Sevren's place is a oasis for weary travellers.

  • I was one of the first guests to stay at this new place in Burke. I found it to be a really great value. It is just a few minutes north of Burke Mtn, East Burke, and Kingdom Trails. It has wonderful views of Burke Mtn. The space is, well, very spacious, occupying the entire basement area of the house, with a big living room, big bedroom, and big bathroom area. Groups with lots of ski, climbing, or other gear will really appreciate the space for sorting, drying, and organizing gear. The bedroom has a large bed (queen?) and a bunk bed. There is a Roku TV screen in there (no TV in the living room, but TV isn't why you go to the Northeast Kingdom). The kitchen area, which is essentially part of the large living room area, is a bit limited, so keep your meal prep simple. The hosts are quite friendly and communicative, while allowing you your privacy. All in all, this new offering in Burke is an excellent value and a fantastic value--I highly recommend booking it for your Northeast Kingdom adventures.

Located on the shores of Harvey's Lake, the property has a main house and a boathouse; each situated on 3 acres to maximize views of the lake and its bookend mountains. The Estate highlights the best of the Vermont seasons. Burke Mountain and the Kingdom Trails - offering endless skiing and mountain biking - are 30 miles away. The location offers access to some of the best East Coast skiing (resorts and off-piste) in both the White and Green Mountains.
If you want a relaxing place to unplug and get away, this is the place. The loon calls are night are the perfect way to fall asleep!
The house is on a very secluded setting with limited surrounding neighbors. Enjoy the stars at night over an outside fire pit with loons calling in the back ground. Enjoy days in the summer water skiing and days in the winter snow skiing.
  • We had a great time at Nick’s house. It’s an ideal house for a big company, common areas are very comfortable, while bedrooms are pretty far from the main areas, therefore it’s quiet. House was very clean. Nature around is very beautiful. Nick was very quick in answering all questions. We would definitely like to come back again.

    Alexandra2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Nick was a great host. The place was very clean and in a beautiful location. The kitchen was fully equipped and amazing for cooking. The lake area is beautiful and the boathouse is a cool spot to hang out and play some ping pong by the water. Would absolutely recommend to others looking to stay in the area. Thanks for a great stay over Christmas!

  • Similar to what other folks have already said, the house is beautiful. We went during peak foliage and the view was breathtaking. Host is very responsive and accommodating. I had no issues with GPS finding the place. We’re definitely excited to come back. Thanks, Nick!

  • This home is great for a gathering of friends or family, and people who like to cook. Great flattop for making eggs in the morning. The view is also amazing. Be aware though of it's tricky location, and low vehicles may not be ideal for road condition.

  • Amazing views, great house, flat plate griddle top in the kitchen was amazing. Definitely an awesome family vacation spot!

  • Stonehill estate is a beautiful spot with stunning views and amazing amenities for a weekend stay. We would certainly stay again!

    Gretchen2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • This house is perfect for a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The house is well built and beautifully designed. The kitchen has pretty much every cooking utensil you'll ever need and is perfect for cooking meals for large groups. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend this place. Note: Please make sure you read the directions to the house as the GPS led us onto the wrong road and the reception up here is very spotty or almost non-existent. Also, please be aware that the house contains items / furniture that has animal fur on it (rugs, tables) so those who are allergic to cats/dogs may get a mild allergic reaction (sneezing/sniffling) while staying at the house.

  • We absolutely loved the house, and had a great weekend in the mountains. The house was beautiful, with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. Our dog loved running around outdoors in the large property. The location was perfect for a ski weekend with multiple mountains in the area, and we loved nearby Littleton which had great restaurants and shops. Susi was a great host, and was easy and quick to communicate with whenever we had a question. Highly recommend the stay here!

UPDATE 8/5: SlTE CLOSED UNTIL BUILDING FINISHED. WILL OPEN CALENDAR BACK UP WHEN FINISHED. THE STRUCTURE- Unavailable for construction for new Airbnb. We are starting this transition in June. You'll love staying on our property because you'll have full access to the 7 acres. We live the next town over. Less then 10 minutes away. Complete privacy from any neighbor. Our property has the VAST trail directly attached. During the Summer/Spring/Fall seasons you can walk to the trail.
The area is in the country but a located close to small towns for needs. Cabot is 5 minutes away, Danville is 10 away and Hardwick is 15 minutes away. You can't see the neighbors. But if loud enough they may here you or vice versa. We had many family get togethers when my dad lived across the street with fire works for 4th of July with no complaints. I want guest to have fun but please no fights or yelling. Should the neighbors complain we may not be able to continue the camping fun.
  • I had an awesome time staying on Jessica’s property. It was in a beautiful location perfect for my mountain biking trip. She was incredibly helpful and accommodating while still giving me plenty of privacy. Can’t wait to come back!

    Jameson2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • The property is wonderful, secluded and quiet, and they have provided wonderful accommodations for a camp spot. Our pup loves being able to run around and as our second stay here we had some friends join us with their dog as well. The night sky is clear and gorgeous, and we were close enough to town to take a half day trip in to explore. We highly recommend their property.

    Mikaila2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding stay! I was totally expecting just a plot of grass begat I could set up a tent on, but Jessica and her family blew me away! The were super helpful when suggesting good local breakfast places with real Vermont maple syrup too! 10/10 would come back if I’m in Vermont again!

    Noah2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing spot! The property is beautiful and secluded. We had a great time and for a camp site there were more amenities than we ever would have expected or needed. They communicated with us quickly and stopped by when we arrived to say hi and make sure we had everything we needed. We didn't leave the site but they had a book with some area places to eat and see. Definitely recommend staying here, we will be for sure.

  • Randall and Amy are by far the most gracious hosts we've encountered through AirBnb. They were thoughtful and considerate with small touches for us and even a yummy bone for our dog. They told us about local events, activities and places of interest. The house was cozy, clean and we loved the privacy. The neighborhood/community was friendly and welcoming as well. Randall and Amy are fantastic communicators and provided us with a wonderful get a way. We are looking forward to another visit asap!

  • *5 Stars* Jade and Joe were the perfect hosts! Beautifully restored historical country home located on a huge piece of farm land, where there was so much to do. Downtown Bradford was a stone-throw away and full of places to eat and shop. Also a great scenic drive to Loon Mountain. What I loved most were the scenic views of the fields and woods from all sides of the house, including a fantastic view of Mt. Washington from the back porch. I also had the pleasure of meeting Joe and his family's awesome dog Max; Joe's an absolute genuine guy who not only made us feel at home, but did not hesitate to offer his assistance with anything to make stay more enjoyable. My family was sad to leave after only a couple of days, which is why we definitely plan on booking here again for a longer stay. Thank you again Jade and Joe, your home is an absolute Gem! P.S. - My dog had SO much fun tapping into his wild side, exploring, and playing with the neighbor's extremely friendly pups. He was absolutely exhausted.

    Sean2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Jade's place was great. We had plenty of room to relax in the house with plenty to do to keep us busy and not bored. We had a great time exploring outside in the fields and sledding in the snow. It felt like we were home and didn't have to worry about anything.

  • Can’t say enough positive things about this place! The view is breathtaking, the land & the house offer so much to do. It is all the seclusion you want with all the amenities but town isn’t too far away ether. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer, but we will be back!

  • This cozy little spot in nestled off one of the quaint roads we travel to get to and from our favorite places of Vermont. I am so happy we found this gem! +Perfectly manicured “curb” appeal, +20 or so secure, deep steps up to magazine worthy, cozy, well decorated, spotless, modern, country style, “loft”ish space. (I asked my other —6’3”—guest how to describe the space, because where I come from we call this a “crawl space” above the barn. He said “nice, perfect.. it’s definitely not a crawl space.. it’s just awesome”) +TEMPURPEDIC?? Bed, with some magical pillows. Pretty sure I woke up in the same position I fell asleep in, and did not want to check out... until I remembered.. +SCONES! Delicious, “plain” breakfast scones, that’s we dipped in the local maple syrup :) + Roomy, hot, rainfall/overhead shower (with multiple other setting if you’re not into a rainfall) +super soft, clean, linens +a stocked medicine cabinet, filled with all the things someone could possibly forget. +chicken coop filled with quiet little old ladies, until you start talking to them LOL +the bunny did not seem entertained by us but it was still adorable! Due to the timing of our arrival and departure we weren’t able to meet Dawn or the super friendly dog that everyone in the guest book got to meet :( but I can only imagine the best little family running this spot. I am having a hard time deciding whether I plan to share this spot with my friends who travel up there throughout the year, I love it so much I want to keep it a secret!! Best Vermont Air BnB ever ❤️

She responds quickly to messages and communicates needed information. The “apartment” is very clean and well kept. We highly recommend Spencer House lodging and Gallery.

Covid-19 Update (March 2020): We want you to know that we care very deeply about the health and safety of our guests. • Consistently excellent!

    James2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Corbie’s place was great! The lake views can’t be beat, only a short drive from hiking trails and ski resorts. The house itself was spotless and very cozy! We will be back for any future hiking trips!

    Vincent2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, very easy check in and check out. Lots of fun stuff in the area. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

    Kayla2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Do yourself a favor and do not sleep on this place, it is a little slice of paradise. Corbie and Rob picked the perfect spot and luckily enough are willing to share it with the rest of us. The house is in the most wonderful spot right on a lake and waking up to the view with the recently fallen snow was like looking at a photo, hard to believe it was real. Aside from that, there is more than enough room for 2 with a full bed and a futon and 2 full bathrooms on top of it. Not to mention the kitchen which looks right out on to the lake. My wife and I came up for a snowboarding get away and before we left the property we were already talking about planning another stay here during the summer. Thank you Corbie and Rob for a wonderful stay!

    Stephen2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place. Clean and comfortable. Perfect.

    James2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Corbie was readily available to communicate when needed. Before our stay, she gave us plenty of delicious recommendations for dinner around the area. Her directions for check in were easy to follow. The house was so neat, clean and like new. It had absolutely everything you could need. Plus you cannot beat the view. We really loved our stay and would love to come again in the summer!

Cozy treehouse nestled in Oak trees with beautiful views of Mount Washington and the Presidential range of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Close to river and other outdoor recreational activities. Within 20 minutes of Cannon Mountain and Bretton Woods Ski Area.
  • Enjoyed our stay! Was a great location, close to Main Street Littleton and about 30 min from the Cog Railway!

  • Great spot!

    Emily2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was the best treehouse we have stayed in yet. It had a full bathroom with flushable toilet, shower with hot water inside and a heater; although the house itself was surprisingly warm without the heat. It was close to the main road which made it easy to find and close to town. It is also about 30 minutes from the white mountains which has beautiful hiking trails. Daniel was a wonderful and kind host. He was quick to respond and made sure we had dry wood for the fire pit. I would definitely recommend staying here.

    Valentina2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Charming little house in the trees! Daniel is a very friendly and responsive host. The house has a great view, bathroom with hot running water, electricity, and a cosy upstairs bedroom.

A huge secluded Vermont getaway on a large, semi-private pond offers an ideal spot for getting away from it all or exploring the hiking, biking and breweries of the Northeast Kingdom. The house is at the end of a long (0.4-mile) driveway, and all the rooms open up on to Keiser Pond, a 70-acre body of water with only three houses on it. Enjoy the call of the loons on a canoe, or the stillness of winter in front of the fire!
Enter from the driveway through the mudroom and into a cathedral height great room. The space includes and open kitchen, dining room and living room, clustered around a huge chimney with two fireplaces. The upper level also includes a gorgeous master suite with a full bathroom and walk-in closet. All the rooms open onto a covered porch with views of the pond. Downstairs, there is a common area with a small kitchenette. There are also four more bedrooms, each with french doors opening onto the patio and looking out onto the pond. The mini-master bedroom has an ensuite full bathroom, and there is a second full bath across the hall. For babies and toddlers, we have a pack-and-play, and a full-sized crib that can be set up at your request. There is also a queen-sized airmattress and another twin mattress that can be used for extra sleeping space.
Less than a mile away is Red Barn Brewing, one of the tiniest (and most delicious) Vermont breweries off the beaten path. Walk over and enjoy a glass of Misty Hopped or Little Devil, or hop in the car for half an hour and head over to Hill Farmstead. In the summer, you can swim, fish, canoe or kayak on the pond. Enjoy a number of near-by hikes or head over to the Kingdom Trails for some of the country's best mountain biking. The fall brings spectacular foliage and weekly festivals in all the nearby towns. In the winter, you can skate or cross-country ski on the frozen pond. We are also near the VAST network and a short drive from the Crafstbury Outdoor Center. The Kingdom Trails are open for fat biking or snow-shoeing.
  • This was a dream vacation home! Tucked away on close to a 1.5 mile driveway off a winding country road. It’s set in a private lake. This was exactly what you’d expect for a weekend retreat. Tons of board games to play by the warm fire place! If your looking to leave reality for a few days look no further!

    Brock2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Everything as pictured and described. Very nice open space, beautiful views and very private. Easy to find with Google maps. Beds were very comfortable and all amenities were provided. I'm very thankful this family has the option and privilege to rent this home out for others enjoyment. The family still uses the home and many personal belongings are left in the home. If that makes you uncomfortable, it would be something to consider. I am hoping to come back in the future. Maybe summer so I can enjoy the lake more. I absolutely LOVE the deck and wish I could have slept with doors open. Winter doesn't really allow that. Thank you very much for this rental!!!

    Alison2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place and beautiful scenery. I would Recommend this place. Very nice family vacation,

    Mike2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as advertised! Such a beautiful home on a quiet pond surrounded by nature. Our group of 6 adults, two tweens and one dog had a lovely week watching loons paddle by each morning. The large living and dining area and gorgeous porch provided plenty of room for us all to be together (or apart when needed). We enjoyed they kayaks, canoe and the hammock - and especially the fire pit! It was a treat to have a charcoal grill. We hope to be back again in a few years!

    Amy2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for the second time this year. This year friends and I stayed for a week instead of just the four days the previous year and we had just as great of a time. The house is beautiful and located on just a beautiful and quiet lake. The kayaks/canoes/paddle-board are a great fun amenity. Claire gives great suggestions for things to do in the area as well if you ever want to leave this great location. Hope to come back again in the future!

    Meghan2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful spot; gracious and responsive hosts; enough room for everyone!

    Maurie2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • You will love this place for 8-10 people, great kitchen/dining area, long porch with views of the pond. Quiet setting, quite private, wonderful for swimming and paddling. Ideal base for exploring the area. Nearby brewery is a treat.

This magical Lodge is on 100 acres of farmland with an amazing view of the White Mountains of New Hampshire and multiple amenities. It is operated on solar power with a backup generator and has been the venue for many types of events - weddings, reunions, corporate retreats. We do not live at this property, it is entirely yours during your visit. We know you will love your time at the Lodge no matter your length of that stay! NOTE- Our Lodge is closed for the Winter season, November 1 to May 1.
There is a large orchard at the lodge filled with apple trees of all varieties. Many times you may witness the wildlife of Vermont who share this property, wild turkeys, deer etc. Your pet is welcome to roam the 100 acres too.
We are located about 3 miles from the little village of North Danville on a small dirt road. When you turn off this road to go to the lodge you will think you are driving through the farmland and you are. About 3/4 mile up the road the lodge will be on your right, not visible from the Old North Church Road. The sign at the edge of the field says Curt’s Vance Memorial Orchard private, it is not private but because it is a regular Vermont street sign it must say private because it only goes to the Lodge. Enjoy your stay in the Vermont Country!
  • Wow this place was amazing. It is a gorgeous cabin with so much space. The perfect camp get away for friends or family. We were only here one night but we hope to come back again soon. It had everything!

  • Linda was a lovely host and the log cabin was comfortable, cozy and just beautiful. My two little dogs joined us for their first 'vacation' and I've never seen them happier! We had a fun time at the Laconia Pumpkin Festival, we enjoyed the delicious hand pies made by Linda and felt calm and rested when looking up at the night sky and seeing millions of stars! Beautiful spot, Wonderful host!

    Donna2019-10-20T00:00:00Z

Linda and her sister Susan were very hospitable and warm. It is rustic but in a good way. We would definitely come back!

  • Perfect stay at Legend's Cottage. It was a bit cold inside so make sure you plan your stay accordingly (especially in October), but with the campfire outside and the propane heater inside it made such a great rustic vibe. I recommend it!

This private studio space is located on our walkout basement level. You will have your own entry with a parking spot just outside the door. We are a 15 minute walk to many of the popular businesses on Main Street and there is easy access to I93 for all the outdoor activities in the White Mountain region. We enjoy welcoming travelers to our town and are happy to field any questions you may have. Otherwise, we are very respectful of our guests privacy.
The Beal House is a short walk from our house and a good dinner option. Crumb Bar is our favorite pastry stop. Schillings is great for local beer.
  • If you’re traveling up this way, I highly recommend this cozy stay. Not only is there an incredible mountainous skyline view this time of year, but this family really goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We ran into more trouble than expected or planned, and they were more than willing to help in any way they could. They also had amazing recommendations for places to eat, hike, see some views, and shop. This stay was unforgettable, if I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would.

The Loft at River's Edge is a secluded, spacious, second floor river view apartment separate from the main house. Views of the Connecticut River and Vermont's mountains are breathtaking. Spacious lawns and gardens abound throughout the property. Guests have their own outdoor picnic area where they can enjoy using the fire pit and gas grill. Kayaks, a canoe and other sporting equipment are available to our guests. Our loft is a lovely and peaceful place to call your "home away from home."
The loft is a very clean, quiet, bright place on the second floor over a 2 car garage which is used primarily for storage. The apartment has two entrances and is totally separate from the main house, not sharing a common wall between the two. Guests have loved the fact that it's quiet, secluded and private, spacious, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. An additional queen bed in the main room can be used for kids or another couple. The bathroom is spacious and has a full-sized tub/shower & vanities. The unit has Wifi and television with DVD player and plenty of DVD's to enjoy. Books and games are available as well. There's air conditioning in the summer and heating unit (both of which guests can regulate to their comfort).
The town of Monroe is a quiet little town sandwiched between mountains and the Connecticut River. The home is close to a neighborhood which makes for great walking, yet completely secluded for peace and quiet. The location is rural with farming properties dotting the landscape.

  • Of all the AirB&Bs and B&Bs where I have stayed, I think this may be my favorite: clean, spacious, and in such a beautiful and tranquil setting. I was so busy with several planned day trips in the region, my only disappointment is that I did not spend more time at this wonderful apartment on the Connecticut River. And as for amenities, this place has everything— from fully out-fitted kitchen, games, fire pit and DVDs, to binoculars, kayak, canoe, and even fine china in case you feel like fixing a nicer meal. “If it ain’t here, you probably don’t need it!” 😊

    John2019-10-12T00:00:00Z

Come stay with Rose and Danny as we restore the barn on the Historic Kimball Dairy Farm built in 1850.. You will sleep in a bed from the original owners in a loft with exposed hand hewn beams and look out over woodlands and meadow. You can lounge on the patio which was once an old grain silo, sit around the fire dish, listen to the fountain in the koi pond, or chill on the covered deck. We have a brand new private shower and sink to wash up or do the dishes on the ground floor of the barn
There's a mini fridge, two burner infrared hot plate, Bluetooth solar speaker, USB ports, and cold well water fountain, and hard wired smoke detectors. We have hammocks to hang off the giant hemlocks and a bench at the top of our meadow that overlooks the valley. There are running trails cut through the forest on our land and we will provide you with maps and tips on the best places to hike, ride , drink, hang out or party in the area. We are outdoor enthusiasts and can direct you to some of our many local trails. Rainy day? No problem ! The State House, Vermont History Museum, Ben and Jerry's, Bread and Puppet, The Lost Nation Theater, The Vermont Antique Trail, The Prohibition Pig, Three Penny Taproom, and more breweries than you can shake a growler at are wicked close by. This is going to be fun!
  • The place is exactly as advertised! Great location and great hosts.

  • We travel a lot and stay in air BNBs 99% of the time, this has been our all time favorite one! I was a little hesitant at first because I was afraid it would be cold; however we were quite comfortable! It had everything we could have needed and more! The barn truly was a major part of our adventure in Vermont!!!

    Beverly2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Funky 1800's barn loft was so much fun for our a three night stay. This Airbnb is for the Adventurous. The barn in in North Central Vermont and Rosealie and Danny have fixed it up with eclectic cute figurines, accessories, paintings, photographs and furniture. The bed is AMAZING. We were there to hike and it was so nice to climb in a comfortable and warm bed. Rosealie and Danny went out of their way to make us comfortable. The weather turned very cold but the barn was warm and toasty. This is not your average modern facility. The charm and hosts make this an experience to remember for a lifetime.

    MaryEllen2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Funky doesn't begin to describe this out of the way gem. The little quirky touches like a "Barbie" doll chandelier added greatly to the ambiance. It really is a barn being converted into livable space. The sleeping and living area is located in the barn's loft while an "indoor/outdoor" compost toilet and shower are downstairs along side a work area for the construction conversion. I had a "minor" health scare and Rose demonstrated empathy and compassion for my needs. This was special attention above and beyond what most would expect and it was especially appreciated.

    Charles2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time in Rosaline's barn! It is definitely a funky barn as advertised and was great fun for the first night of "Cherie & Shirley's great adventure"! Just make sure you know what you are signing up for! The facilities are not for the faint of heart.

    Dave2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
