  • Beautiful house. Very close to the city centre.

    Leanne2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • This house was truly amazing. An oasis in the middle of the city. All 11 of us had good place for ourselves and together. Only pity we couldn’t be there for more than one night and also couldn’t enjoy the garden facilities due to the weather conditions. We will be back and then it will be for at least one week. Galway is a very nice and lively town, and this house just tops the experience.

    Viktor2018-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a great location! We were able to walk right around the corner to enjoy all of the local flair. So many pubs and restaurants to choose from, you will really get a taste of the town from this location. We would definitely return!

    David2018-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place, newly remodeled it seemed and right in the heart of town! Cross the river and there are dozens of places to shop, eat and have pints. Great place! Parking is down the street.

  • A great find in Galway for large groups! Excellent location. Host responds very quickly.

    Marianne2018-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, centrally located, well-stocked, lots of beds

    Madeline2018-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • After a disappointing start the host recognised some of our concerns and we were then able to enjoy the property for the fee paid. there are areas that guests have commented on in the past that I think are being rectified. It is honest to say that the property is now showing more signs of wear than the original images suggest, I think it would benefit guests to update the images and reflect this is the fee being charged.

  • We loved our stay. Everything was perfect. Would highly recommend!!

  • The location is suberb and the views breathtaking. 4 large bedrooms and large communal space. Highly recomended.

    Peter2018-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • The property was as advertised. I thought it would be a bit closer to downtown Galway, but that was my error, not the owners. It was only a 5 minute cab ride and Salthill was really nice too.

My place is Ideally located a 5 min walk to Eyre square, perfect for nightlife, public transport, exploring the city centre. You’ll love my place because its a super modern, fully equipped cosy home away from home.. My place is good for couples, business travellers, families (with kids), and groups of friends to appreciate and enjoy.
This is a 3 bedroom townhouse. All beds are new and comfortable. All linen and towels and bathroom essentials are provided.
Galway is one of the brightest and most intriguing jewels of the West of Ireland. It marks the halfway point on the Wild Atlantic Way and is the only city on the entire 2500km route. The city is wild and bohemian, and at the same time full of culture, artistry, exceptional food and music. As well as being a popular seaside destination with long sandy beaches, Galway is also a thriving and cosmopolitan city centre. It is always a joy to explore with its wonderful cobbled streets, colourful shop facades, and its offbeat café/bar culture. Galway is also well known for its proliferation of festivals and civic events, with huge crowds gathering for the much-celebrated Galway International Arts Festival, the craic of the Galway Races, the spectacular Macnas Halloween Parade and numerous other events throughout the year. Ireland's great traditions of hospitality have their place in the city too, with turf fires and traditional music featuring in many of the city’s pubs. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
  • Mary's house was a cosy place for the family to stay, close to downtown Galway, and with Tesco extra just around the corner. The kitchen was spacious and we did lots of cooking, as well as having enough seating for the whole family.

    Eric2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Brilliant house stunning with all the amenities you could want. A short walk to all the pubs restaurants and night clubs you could want

    Becky2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • The place was super spacious as described and pictured in the images. Perfect house for a bigger group, open kitchen for cooking together and a big table for cozy dinner! Beds are good quality, design and linen easy on the eyes! Mary was always prompt to respond and did everything in order to facilitate our stay! Enough parking space for 2 cars in front of the house. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook for 10 people! Price value is great, highly recommended! Thanks Mary

  • Walking distance to Eyre Square, very clean, has everything you could want.

    Eoin2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Mary’s place was clean and spacious (we were four adults and all slept comfortably). Check-in and check-out were easy. Location is fairly convenient - outside the downtown core but it was only about a ten minute walk to Eyre Square. The neighborhood was quiet and although it wasn’t upscale we didn’t feel unsafe at all (not sure what the other reviewer was worried by). There was a smell of burning rubber while we were there - possibly from a nearby tire store - but we couldn’t smell it with the windows closed.

    Rebecca2018-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house in an excellent location!

    Rebecca2017-08-07T00:00:00Z

  • We had a great stay at this cottage! Slight view of the ocean, with a very cutely decorated space and a great kitchen. Would totally stay here again.

    Gretchen2018-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • An extremely well appointed and we'll equipped cottage in a beautiful location.

    Mats2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage itself is splendid, cozy, warm and very well decorated! A good base to explore Connemara! Probably it needs more kitchen pan, pots and serving bowls! And definitely different duvet.....they were too warm! We had a little problem that we solved with a couple of e-mail! I recomand Ita's cottage if you want to stay in galway but far from the traffic and from the centre of town, In a better location.

    Valentina2018-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house for exploring the West of Ireland. We travelled with a young family & the house was perfect for us. Beautiful views and Galway city was easily accessible by car. Ita was very helpful, provided a travel cost for us and had the house nice and warm for our arrival.

    Jennifer2017-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is an absolutely stunning home which looks right over Galway Bay, and we felt like we were in paradise whilst we stayed there. The place was spotless, and really had a homely touch to it. There were also very clear instructions on how to use the facilities that the house provided, as well as information about local services (such as takeaways, things to do, and who you could contact in an emergency) This is a perfect place for any group of friends that want to experience the true meaning of Ireland! Thank you for letting us stay, and we’d love to stay there again!

The home itself was spotlessly clean with sizeable bedrooms which made our stay extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend this home for a stay in the Galway area.

  • Laura has a nice place in Galway with a great location. The apartment was very close to the best pubs and shopping in town. However, we were a family of 5 with 3 adult children and we found the place to be smaller than expected. We did not believe that the apartment was a "luxury" apartment as listed and because of that, we felt it was a bit overpriced. We also had some issues after check-in, including a bed that broke immediately after sitting on it and a loud buzzing sound coming from the wall in the living room. We called the apartment manager who was very quick to come by and fix the bed (as best he could) and to fix the sounds. Overall, I think this apartment was nice with a great location but it should not be considered a luxury apartment.

    John2018-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in Laura's apartment for one night and only wished we would have been able to stay longer! The place was in a very good location only steps away from the main street. The place was very clean and maintained. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would recommend staying here to anyone interested.

  • Plenty of sleeping room and warmth, great night life within walking distance! Recommend highly!

    Jane2017-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment has a well equipped kitchen, gated parking included, and is right around the corner from High Street. Easy walking distance to everything you need. Close to pubs and restaurants, but not right over them, so we enjoyed a nice, quiet space around the corner from the crowds. Lovely view.

  • Great apartment! Right in town & beautifully decorated. Gorgeous views of the harbor! Really enjoyed our stay in Galway.

  • A superb place in an excellent location! Would highly recommend :)

    Claire2018-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • The house was wonderful and fully renovated. As a party of 10, there was plenty of space and lots of towels, bedding and amenities for us all. The living space was large and kitchen area large so again enough room for a large party of 10. The walk to the downtown area of Galway, for shopping, bars and restaurants was short and quick. Literally out of the townhouse, across the bridge and there you were. We could not have been happier with our stay. The Spanish Arch (An Póirse Spáinneach) in Galway city, Ireland, was originally an extension of the city wall from Martin's Tower to the bank of the Corrib, as a measure to protect the city's quays, which were located in the area once known as the Fish Market (now Spanish Parade). It was constructed in 1584. In the 18th century the Eyre family of Eyrecourt, County Galway, created an extension of the quays called The Long Walk and created the arches to allow access from the town to the new quays. The Spanish Arch is located on the banks of the River Corrib directly across from The Claddagh. In 1755, the arches were partially destroyed by the tsunami generated by the 1755 Lisbon earthquake. Until 2006, part of the Arch housed the Galway City Museum. At that time, the museum was moved to a new, dedicated building located just behind the Arch.

  • The location is FANTASTIC! It is literally a few hundred yards from the beginning of the shopping district. It is right on the water with spectacular views. The property was modern, clean and completely what is pictured and described in every review. We would go back in a second.

    Bridget2016-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Location is perfect, away from the noise of the town but I short stroll to be right in the mix. Galway is a lovely place with friendly people. What are you waiting for?

    James2017-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great location right in the centre of Galway, and fantastic views across the water. Laura was great in arranging a time to meet at her place before we checked in - perfect for a weekend away as it is so hassle free. Thanks!

  • The house was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. We had plenty of space for our party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) and could easily walk to restaurants and shops in Galway. The view from the house is lovely!

Hey Folks My apartment is in the middle of galway city. Everywhere is only a couple of minutes walk which includes bars, restaurants and all the bits & bobs you'll want. The place is clean, comfortable with all you need for a pleasant stay in Galway and its the centre of attention.
The apartment is up 3 flights of stairs so if anybody has any issues with climbing stairs I would highly recommend not to book this apartment. There is NO parking available.
The apartment complex is a quiet one and is very secure with key fobs required to get access.
  • The place was as described and could easily sleep 6 people. It was clean and centrally located, easy to walk to everything and close to the bus stop should you have any tours or anything. It isn't a quiet place, since it's in the middle of everything, there is definitely noise from the pubs that goes pretty late. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking to stay only a short walk from all the action. Beds were nice and it had good water pressure in the shower.

  • This apartment is in a fantastic location for anyone looking to explore Galway by foot. It’s an easy walk to the main streets including a ton of pubs and restaurants. We loved being able to go out at night and being only a few moment’s walk from home. Others have left reviews about it being very noisy. There is one pub with a patio nearby that caused some noise, but we didn’t find this to be an issue at all for sleeping. Darragh was a very accommodating host and responded very quickly to all our questions.

In the heart of Connemara, on the Wild Atlantic Way, 20 minutes from Galway city, this recently renovated house is new to the holiday rental market. Beautifully situated on a quiet cul de sac, this property is 5 minutes from Furbo beach and close to shops and restaurants in Spiddal and Barna. Fantastic base to visit Galway City, Clare, Connemara and the Aran Islands. There are beautiful walks directly from the house through woodland, rugged mountain terrain and along the shoreline.
  • We had a great stay in Maire & Kathy's lovely house. We met Kathy, who couldn't have been more helpful. It was super clean, very well equipped and beds were so comfortable with lovely cosy bedding. My kids loved the bunk beds and playing in the gorgeous sunny back garden. Location was super, 15 minutes drive into Galway city and 10 minutes to Spiddal (check out amazing Italian Pizza restaurant there). We loved that it was tucked away in a lovely quiet spot. And so nice to sit in the evening and see the sea in the distance. Would really recommend this house and hope to return again. Thanks Kathy

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Máire and Kathy's place, they are really friendly and welcoming hosts, offering everything we could wish for. The house is very spacious and was just perfect for our group of 7, the beds are a dream and the kitchen well equipped to cook some nice meals. Even though it is quite a ride from Galway city, we found a cheap taxi to go there without problems.

  • Great Experience. The accommodation was beautifully renovated and everything was new. The house was really well equipped and they even left us a few beers and coffee. The host Kathy was super helpful and may our stay very comfortable. The house location is about a 20 minutes from Galway city center (8.1km) in a very picturesque location .

Cosy 3 bedroom cottage within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, supermarket, boutiques, spa and all other amenities in Barna, Galway. Right in the middle of the Wild Atlantic Way. Newly renovated and insulated in December 2017 with a new bathroom (with bath and shower) and new ensuite bathroom. New beds and furniture throughout.
Barna is a lovely village on the outskirts of Galway city. Plenty to do if you don't want to drive anywhere, and if you fancy a trip away, within 10 minutes drive is Galway city or head out west to explore the Connemara National park and beyond.
  • Perfect location and good value. The hosts were very helpful in making sure our we enjoyed our stay!

    Seamus2016-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the cottage was a really enjoyable one. The location is superb with the beach, village of Barna and Salthill close by. The cottage was very clean and cosy, yet spacious. Its upside down layout maximised the views of the beach. We were traveling with a toddler and were provided with a travel cot and high chair that were spotless. The staff at the cottages were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning again.

    Martina2016-08-23T00:00:00Z

  • We had a good time in Barna. The house looked like we expactet it. It could be a bit cleaner. We did't meet Daniel but his manager Tom. He was very kind and helped out with all we needed. The communication with Tom was always great. All over it's a good location to stay for a few days.

    Mario2017-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Dan and Sarah's place was perfect for our family, very clean and comfortable with everything we could need to feel at home. Old style but with modern amenities. Ideally situated with a wonderful view of the sea. A peaceful spot and just a short walk to the lovely village of Barna. We'll definitely return here next time we're in Connemara.

  • We absolutely adored this house. It is only 10 mins from town, but the night sky is FULL of stars. It is the perfect location, we drove to Cliffs of Moher in the morning, then home for lunch, then out to Hills of Connemara in the evening. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfy. There was an extra bed set up for our little one, which was a great help so the kids didn't have to share. The host was very friendly and answered any questions quickly. Great selection of foods left for us, which was so nice. We loved watching the local farm life as well.

    Sarah2016-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Frank gave us very detailed excellent directions to the home, and he was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We were provided with a refrigerator/kitchen full of breakfast items, fruits and snacks. The kitchen and home were equipped with everything we needed, including wifi. The house was clean and homey with a large bathroom and a nice big sunny dining room. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay!

    Eileen2016-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • The house is very big and comfortable, even if not everything is new. Unfortunatly we spent a lot of time outside visiting the county so we had not use all the rooms (kitchen, dining room and living room).

    Elena2018-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely quite accommodation in the Galway area, quietly located. Frank was a very attentive host and had everything nicely prepared for us. His print out instructions were very helpful.

    Florian2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nice house with really comfy beds. Some food already in the fridge waiting for you. Reached my expectations

    Dorian2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Franks lovely house in Galway. The rooms are spacious, clean, charging and well equiped. The views from the many big windows are stunning. The complementary breakfast was delicious and more than enough, even for our two young and always hungry boys :-) Unfortunately we have not had the pleasure of meeting Frank in person, but he always replied quickly, friendship and helpfully to any question we texted him during our stay. He is a great host. He even put up a baby cot for our youngest son: a real and comfortable one, not a foldable one without a good matrass like we often encounter. He (and we) had the best sleeps of our trip here because of that. The location of the house was perfect for us. Galway city center is only a short drive away, and the house is on the convenient side of Galway for visiting Conemara. The supermarket is nearby, and we also found a nice and nearby indoor playground (to compensate the kids for al the nature drives ;-)) For us it was the perfect mix of space, comfort, free views of surrounding nature and proximity to everything we needed in Galway and Connemara. Warmly recommanded!

This apartment is in a very secluded and quiet part of the city and is overlooking the marina. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the most lively part of the Galway, the Latin quarter. There is private parking at no extra cost and a private outdoor seating area overlooking a garden Oasis.
There are two en-suite bedrooms both with showers. One of the bedrooms has a bed that can morph into a desk so allows for a more space. This allows for this room to be used as an office or even a spacious children's room when not being used as a bedroom, it is a great multifunction room. The apartment has two standard double bed's with en-suite bathrooms for each room available and you also have the option of extending the modern sofa bed in the living room into a comfortable sleeping area for an additional two adults or children. All pillows and duvets provided are filled with duck and down and with very comfortable mattress. I make the bed's as comfortable as possible so I am sure you will have a beautiful nights rest.
The neighbourhood is a very safe and it is a tranquil location. The apartment is seconds from the sea and you can walk into town along the famous Long Walk of Galway. The apartment has ground floor access onto a very well lit street also making it a very convenient space to access.
  • Lovely place, very clean and handy to the town centre. Also, Dara was very quick and kind on answering our issues.

  • This is a perfect location -- close to everything but located in a quiet area right on the waterfront. Check in and check out were easy, with good instructions. The hosts communicated well and there were no surprises. The place worked well for two couples since each bedroom has its own bathroom. If we return to Galway, this is our first choice of a place to stay.

  • Dara's place had all the basics we needed for a comfortable stay. The best part about this place is the location - it's nice & quiet being out on the docks, but then so super close to everything, so a great balance. I didn't get to meet Dara, but spoke to him on the phone at check-out and he seemed like a genuinely warm and friendly person & he gave me some great tips.

  • Great location. Worked out well for our group of 12

    Sara2018-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about this place was perfect. Check in was easy just had to give a call to a man who came with the key. Great location and the apartment was very modern and styl.ist. We even got water, coke and some snacks left for us. Great stay. Would highly recommend.

    Laura2017-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is in a great location around 5 minute walk to the main square and less than 10 to the smaller cobbled streets and pedestrian areas with all the bars, restaurants and shops. The house is definitely more of a base to work from than a place to spend all your time in but it is well equipped, clean and warm. There is a Tesco(supermarket) just around the corner about 5min walk and a corner shop even closer for the essentials. I stayed with a group for 4 nights.

    James2018-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Laura is a great host - she was very prompt with her communications and answered our questions almost immediately. She was also quite accommodating when we asked to extend our stay by a day. The apartment is in a great location to the center of Galway - only about a 5 minute walk. We had pretty much everything we needed. Although it was a bit of a tight squeeze for 10 of us, we all had beds to sleep on! The mattresses were not the most comfortable, but nothing a decent mattress pad couldn't help fix. All in all a great visit to Galway!

    Vicki2018-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in mid May for a weekend. Good location, very handy for town and some nice bars several doors away. Tea, coffee, milk, snacks also provided which was very nice. However the road was noisy at night in the front 2 bedrooms and there were some noisy seagulls on the roof. Also all the mattresses were very uncomfortable. I would not rate this as luxury accommodation.

    Georgina2018-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable for a group of 12 and easy walk to city centre

    Brian2017-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great accommodation - would highly recommend to stay here if you're looking for a place to stay with a large group! A group of 12 of us stayed here for one night, there was more than enough space for us. There was snacks left out for us, everyone had a bed (one slept on a very comfortable couch). There were towels left out for us - everything was organised for us prior to arrival! A very nice man greeted us at the accommodation within 5 minutes of our arrival and ensured us we could contact him for anything we needed. On top of it all, the location was absolutely ideal! Great place!

    Duncan2017-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place was awesome! We shared the space between 12 people and loved it. It is in a perfect location, being able to walk everywhere was great. Laura was very responsive and helpful. I would rent this place again!

    Jessie2017-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fabulous place for so many reasons especially if you are traveling with grown children or other couples. The location couldn't be better. There is street noise but you don't go to Galway for peace and quiet - and ear plugs are provided. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, plus a large kitchen /living room makes this 10 times better than a hotel room. The kitchen was great and even had a well stocked refrigerator. The washing machine was appreciated because we had been traveling for a couple weeks and it was time to do some wash. No dryer but there was a rack to hang clothes and plenty of room to do so. The windows were plentiful and worked well so lots of cross ventilation. If you need handicap access, this is not the place for you because there are a few stairs. Otherwise it is a perfect place to enjoy Galway.

    John2018-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Apartment in great location, nice apartment and easily fit our family of 6. We found it can get a bit noisy of a night time but that's because of its very central location. Jennifer was excellent with communication.

  • Geraldine's house is right in the mix of things -- just a short walk from Galway city center and a number of pubs, shopping, and a lovely walk along the shore. The house is very clean and was roomy enough for all eight of us! There was even a dining area for us to eat and play cards at night. We would have liked extra bedding for a chilly night, but other than that it was grand. I recommend Geraldine's place for those looking for somewhere to stay in Galway.

  • Francis’s place was perfect for our group of 5. It was in the heart of Galway and we were able to easily walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The view of Galway Bay and the Spanish Arch from the place was a nice perk. He was a great host, and super speedy with responses. We had plenty of room and enjoyed our entire time in Galway.

Good for large groups, especially those looking to experience Galway for the first time. Francis was a great host and very responsive and communicative. I would stay here on a return trip.

  • Went to Galway to visit the Christmas markets, my first time using air B&B so didn't really know what to expect! I've no worries now! From the beginning Francis was very quick with responses to any questions I had. Parking was about a 2 min walk which was great. The apartment is in a great location in the heart of the Spanish Arch but also quite! Would highly recommend

    Alison2017-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • If you want to see the main area of Galway this is the perfect location! Everything is basically right outside your door including the Spanish archway. We were looking for a famous street where part of the song ‘Galway girl’ was shot and ended up realizing it was basically right on the other side of one of the buildings we were looking at from outside the windows. There is plenty of great food around and just minimal street noise at night. The place could use some updates mostly in the bathrooms but the location is worth it. The beds were pretty comfortable overall and this was one of the only places on our stay that we didn’t run out of hot water.

  • Dan and Sarah were wonderful hosts in our stay in Barna. We had great views of the bay and plenty of space, and Dan gave us some great recommendations of places to eat in Barna. We went into Galway a few times and it was a very easy drive, taking 15-20 minutes to get to the heart of the city. Barna itself is a fun seaside town with a few good restaurant options and worth spending some time walking around. Check in and check out were very straightforward and Dan and Sarah are close by to answer any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Tom the manager is very friendly and available, thanks to him. The cottage is rustic and spacious, you will find all you need. We enjoyed our stay in this marvelous region.

  • We loved our stay here we stayed in number 7. Lovely location just out of Galway. Clean and bright and cozy and lovely view from living area towards the bay. Lovely to come back and chill out after being out and about . Nice grounds great for kids. We had everything we needed. Pubs, shops and restaurants in Barna which are convenient . Only slight issue was the 2nd shower very noisy. Would highly recommend this if looking for accommodation in Galway esp if you have kids .

    Sue2018-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful views over Galway bay, and walking distance to shops and restaurants in Barna.

    Eoin2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • We really loved Sarah & Dan's place. The house was perfect for us and our 3 kids. It was spotlessly clean and really well kitted out. The kids loved the playground outside the front door and the chickens roaming around! The location was perfect in Barna, close to Silver Strand and a short drive to Spiddal. We have a fantastic weekend and hope to come back again soon.

    Leahanne2018-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • A nice cottage close to the ocean. There's a small village walking distance, with good restaurants and pubs. Easy parking in Salt Hill, which gets you within walking distance of downtown Galway, just 15 minutes away.

    Dan2018-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Would highly recommend these cottages for break away with the kids. We have 2 small girls the cottages were spotless clean & lovely big living area for all the toys/dolls we had to bring! Daniel & Sarah made us feel very welcome & Tom also helped us during our stay. They have just finished brand new playground literally outside your front door! So close to Barna & Salthill / we'll be back !

  • This was in an excellent location. We parked the car in the parking garage and did not need it until we left to go the airport. Many places to see and have fun.

  • This location is great! The apartment is modern and clean and comfortable! The hosts are thorough and quick with the communication. Great place to stay to explore Galway!

    Mica2018-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • The appartment is lovely ! We appreciated the location so close to the city centre, the comfort of the secured parking, and the cute decoration. Unfortunately, the shower in the big bathroom didn't work correctly : the water was wether burning or icy, but not inbetween, and the pressure was very low :-( (the other bathroom was fine). However, we really enjoyed our stay and Galway city !

    Honorine2018-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment ideal for seeing Galway. Good and central and just off the Main Street

    Donal2018-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great location very convenient to shops and dinner, but expect some noise from the seagulls and road at night.

    Austin2018-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • The location of this apartment is everything. It’s a few blocks from the main streets which is close enough for easy access, but far enough to be quiet at night. The building is a bit tired, but the actual apartment is renovated and very nice. There’s even a little deck to get some fresh air, and a parking lot in the building. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to stay in a very convenient location.

    Broghan2018-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • A nice apartment but only for 6 people. The couch is too small to be considered as double bed. The fridge was not working. On the other hand the location is very good. Really walking distance from nightlife & tourist attractions. Free parking. Be aware that we saw a police alcohol test block right down of our window.

This large townhouse, centrally located minutes from the heart of Galway city, and within walking distance of Salthill promenade.Perfectly positioned for touring Connemara and the Burren. Also has a large supermarket on ground floor.Free Wifi .
  • Lisa's place is fantastic and slept 6 of us comfortably. The loft area upstairs is really spacious. Location was perfect and the Supervalu underneath turned out to be very handy. The breakfast stuff in the fridge was also a lovely touch.

    Laoise2017-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa's place is lovely, clean, and in a great location, walking to the bus, train, square or beach. The bed was comfortable, Kitchen amazingly stocked, and Lisa responded quickly to requests and questions. Don't forget to pack UK converters for your electric items. Lisa's place is above a Super Value supermarket which was amazingly convenient but does require closing the windows at 5:30 AM when they move all the shopping carts. NO big deal as cool nights. There is an ATM next to the supermarket for Euro's so no lines like the ones down town and no need to bring any Euro's or a lot of cash with you as you can do it right there 24 hrs a day!

    Gene2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • This space is SO cute! Very close to the Salthill area and Eyre Square - we walked everywhere we went during our stay here. Small personal touches really put this space above and beyond and made it our favorite space we stayed in on our trip! Two thumbs way up!

    Jordan2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great place , three bedrooms and two baths short walk from the center of Galway . Everything kitchen and bathrooms modern and good working order . It is a duplex so the upper living and kitchen have a great view of Galway Bay . Would recommend to anyone

    Matthew2017-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! Easy walk to music, food and shopping. Incorrect apartment # was in the instructions so that slowed us down a little but Lisa was very quick to respond. I’d say it would be a good idea to have more instructions on turning on the heat, etc w switched. This is not a USA thing so we weren’t sure what to do. Really great apartment & experience.

    Janet2018-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • The place is very conveniently located right next to a grocery store and a few minutes walking from city center. The host is very kind to provide a very hearty Irish breakfast - not something you see often on Airbnb. The living room area is a great place to hang out after a day of sightseeing. Very clean and tidy.

    Kat2018-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa's apartment is absolutely fantastic. It has the perfect location, that it is within walking distance to all shops and restaurants with even beautiful views of Galway. The size of the place makes it ideal for groups to enjoy. The apartment has literally everything you could need from all cooking utensils in the kitchen to shower gels and shampoo in the bathrooms. Lisa is also the perfect host. Contact was so simple and she was very accommodating when we were late for check in. She even left us food for our breakfast!! Could not recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back :)

  • Fantastic location for a stay in Galway. Great communication and check in - thank you

    Deirdre2018-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • The location of this place was perfect. Minutes from downtown and great restaurants. The view of the harbor is beautiful. The listing did say that there were four bedrooms. There were only three and a closet with a bed in it. There was garbage left in the kitchen and our sheets were clean, but stained. There were also cords missing that we needed to run the tv. The apartment was sufficient, but would not consider it "luxury".

    Nicole2017-01-07T00:00:00Z

  • This place was perfect for Galway! It was a couple minutes walk from the lively part of the city and distant enough to be quiet. The place has tons of light and Jean checked in to ensure we were good. Brendan was there to welcome us and give us the quick overview of the place. It was an excellent experience!

    Andrea2017-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Jean's apartment was well-furnished and in a nice location. The hosts were very attentive and available to help whenever I needed anything. Great place to stay!

    Zachary2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious apartment in a great location. We walked everywhere. Jean and Brendan were easy to reach and very responsive. When my daughter asked if there was a hair dryer, one appeared at the front door the next morning.

  • You can't beat the location! Easy walk to town and reasonable parking just a 3min walk.

  • Jean and Bernard's place is ideal for anyone heading down to Galway. It's clean, comfortable and in the perfect location. You're a 5-10 minute walk from Shop Street and Eyre Square where all the restaurants and bars are, while the house itself is nice and quiet for when your head hits the pillow! Fantastic spot and Jean and Bernard were very accommodating and helpful.

    Josh2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great location since it is within walking distance of the city center! Brendan was there to greet us and show me where the car park is (about a 4 min walk). While I parked the car, Brendan helped with the luggage, provided instructions for our stay, gave my family suggestions for where to eat (Blake's is great!) and what sights were nearby. We were there during the races so the location proved to be ideal for being able to go to the city center without worrying about parking/traffic. Overall, Brendan and Jean's place served our needs for that weekend!

    Carmen2018-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a fantastic location while in Galway. Jean's place was clean and we had all that we needed. The wi-fi was a little sketchy at times, but the location makes up for that.

  • What a fantastic flat, super well located. Coffee, tea, milk, bread and butter, and the orange juices made our days against angover ... Not too much pressure in shower : but we lived in Ireland in the past and it's often the case ... So not a big deal ;-) Mary had been helpful with parking advice and really quick to respond !

    Pauline2018-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Mary's apartment is located in a wonderful central location, and was a very secure apartment. She left great touches (brown bread and a stocked refrigerator) for us, which made it feel like home! Would certainly recommend :)

Hi, this luxury pent house apartment is located right in the heart of Galway City. It is a 2 minute walk to all main shops, pubs & restaurants. It has a lovely balcony view looking over the Harbour of Galway City. It has two spacious bedrooms one being an en suite with a walk in wardrobe. There is free parking with the apartment in a private car park. There is an elevator in the building but the elevator only operates between business hours (9.00 - 17.00).
The apartment is located right beside the Latin Quarter in Galway. A minutes walk will take you to all the best streets in Galway.
The apartment is located in the docks which is only minutes away from the city centers popular locations. The docks is a relatively quiet area as it has only 1 bar in the vicinity and is more popular with food rather than people drinking.
  • The apartment was very spacious and in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The sun room and deck were awesome places to hang out after a long day of exploring the city. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. There wasn’t a hairdryer as advertised.

  • We stayed here very last minute but very worth it! I was happy someone responded as we decided to stay in Galway in the afternoon and booked this at about 6pm. The host left us a few snacks (which we weren't expecting but we're delicious). In the morning the views of the city were beautiful and it made us regret not being able to stay longer. If we come back, I know we'll be looking to stay here again!

  • Very clean, spacious townhouse. Check in was easy, parking provided and it’s a quick walk to the shopping areas. A list of recommendations for restaurants was provided which was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay again

  • This apartment is in a brilliant location with a lovely view. Darragh was very helpful giving driving directions to the private car park and on how to check in. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend others to stay here.

  • Great find - great location overlooking the docks but 2 minutes walk to the Main Street, but also very quiet and safe as in a gated development. Place was spotless and directions were clear. The parking space is a great added plus too. Would have liked more time to enjoy the roof terrace some more.

  • Words cannot describe (briefly) how much we all enjoyed our stay here!!! Orlaith's parents warmly welcomed us and showed us around and how to work things, as appliances function a bit differently in Ireland than the States, heh. The beds were comfortable, as well as the pillows, and everything was very clean and tidy. The house was perfectly situated for the 5 of us in our party to live comfortably and privately, also the location was great for getting around Galway and Connemara by car. Big windows were inviting to enjoy bird watching over a cup of coffee in the mornings. Having the half bath in the master bedroom was a big help for sharing with 5 people! The scenery was just as described - tranquil and relaxing! I would recommend this listing to anyone visiting the Galway area! LOVED IT!!!! =D

  • I cant reccommend stayinf here highly enough. Emer was a great host who was very accommodating to our late arrival and the house was full of lovely wee additions that added to our stay... especially having milk & teabags so we could have a nice wee cuppa when we arrived! I would love an excuse to come back to stay!

  • What a lovely place in such a peaceful location! My 4 year old boys loved the backyard with its paths. It's very quiet so easy to get a good nights rest. The beach was easy to walk to, and I went on some nice morning runs between the shoreline and country roads. The house itself was very well kept and homey. Orlaith was great - she left out kids books, baby bath products and fresh fruit for us, and she was quick to respond when we had questions. I'd welcome the chance to go back!

  • We had a great stay at Emer's property. It's such a lovely home and Emer & Michael are great hosts. The house is well equipped, very clean and spacious and has a beautiful garden! I would highly recommend the property.

  • Absolutely stunning location, the house is beautiful and just a walk away from the coast. thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

    Liam2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful home in a stunning location. Emer was a fantastic host, the stove was lit and tea & biscuts ready to go! The house is really spacious but still so cosy :)

    Alice2017-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Emer's cabin is great with beautiful garden space outside. We walked to the pub and beach nearby which were great! We were near the store and restaurants which was convenient! Glad we stayed here and would definitely recommend it.

    Vanessa2018-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • the cabin is more like a "home from home" with everything you could possibly wish for being provided. It was spotlessly clean and the information provided by Orlaith made our holiday easy to organise.

Fully refurbished apartment on the first floor of a small apartment complex. There is shared lift & stair access from the ground floor entrance hall to the flat entrance door. Inside, the apartment consists of an entrance hall, an open plan kitchen/dining room, two bedrooms and one bathroom. The living room has large windows overlooking Galway Bay. Both bedrooms have one double bed and ample wardrobe space.
  • Cute little place to stay! A quick cab ride or lovey walk into Galway. Located close to the nice area of Salthill. Lots to do in the area and a lovely view of the water from the unit. Would definitely recommend!

    Brooke2018-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • A stunning view of the ocean welcomes you at the balcony of this modern two bedroom apartment. With excellent amenities, it is an excellent retreat. WiFi was excellent. The beach is a five minute walk with plenty of nearby store fronts. For the heart of Galway it’s closer to a 20-30 minute walk, but a cab is about €6 each way, if you happen to enjoy pub crawling. Private parking lot with plenty of space. The apartment would be excellent for an extended business visit to Galway. Anytime we spend in Galway, we will be staying in style here.

  • Not a bad place, a bit expensive. The place had Netflix which was a huge win after a long day of travel. Toilet was a little dodgy.

    Brandy2018-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and good sized 2 bedroom appartment with close car park and will equipped. Property was a little more 'tired' than expected and clearly well used. The entrance and communal access areas were often unlit and the main communal access door was usually left open giving security concerns.

    Simon2018-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place in a charming location. Recommended!

    Alessandra2018-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and well presented apartment. Access was very easy. Location was just 20min walk from city centre.

  • Really nice spot on the Salthill area by aquarium. It is clean and very well equipped, and owner was extremely helpful.

Newly renovated 3 bedroom cottage in Barna - all ensuite rooms. Converted loft for kids/teenagers. 5 minutes walk from the sea, shops, restaurants, hairdressers, beauty salon & cafes/bars with large, half acre garden.Washing machine, tumble dryer & fibre hi speed broadband all available at the cottage.
The cottage is located in one of the best areas of Galway. It benefits of the tranquility of the countryside, but only a 10 minute drive into Galway city. It is a great base to discover connemara and the Aran Islands also.
Barna is a coastal village west of Galway city in County Galway, Ireland. Once a satellite of Galway city, the village is now rapidly becoming one of its suburbs. Officially, the village is regarded as Irish speaking and is therefore a constituent part of the regions of Ireland that make up the Gaeltacht. However, because of its absorption into the city, it has recently become a mainly English speaking village. The village has now effectively become the gateway to the largest Irish speaking region in the country.Barna, a picturesque little village with an excellent bathing beach nearby, namely, Silverstrand and a small beach near adjacent to Barna pier. It is a charming little holiday spot with a fine restaurants and bars including the popular O'Grady's and Donnellys pub. There are also many nice cafes, shops and take-away food outlets, as well as a large Super Value supermarket.
  • The Barna Cottage was a great base for all the activities in surrounding Galway area- Conemarra, Killary fjord, Cliffs of Moher, and of course great traditional music in Galway and Doolin. Barna and Salthill relaxed and beautiful. The cottage was clean and spacious, just as advertised. Gabby met us on arrival and answered all of our questions. Altogether a great time!

    William2016-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was very nice, clean, and new! Daniel was very accommodating with night prior reservation. We were a group of 2 couples and the cottage was big enough for an additional 1-2 people if needed. The WiFi didn't work for us and laundry facilities were in a detached shed on property with dryer only available 9-5.

  • we spent a lovely weekend in July at Dan and Sarah's cottage. lovely decor, excellently kitted out, would highly recommend if in the area or travelling along the wild Atlantic way. very close to Barna village and about 15 mins by taxi to Galway city. beats any hotel / b&b.

    Thomas2014-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • What a fantastic place! It is newly and beautifully redone, and everything was exactly as advertised. It was just my parents and me, but the house, with all the living space, would be suitable for a much larger group. There was plenty of sleeping space and large luxurious bathrooms. And the location is fabulous, with a view of the coast, just a few minutes drive to the center of Galway! Dan and family were the most gracious hosts. He was quick to respond to any requests or questions that I had before, during, and after our stay--He was even quick to respond to an early morning internet issue! Thanks Dan, Sarah, and the boys for fantastic stay! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat, next time.....for longer :)

  • We were welcomed as advised even though it was quite late. The cottage was just as in the photos and was very charming and cosy. It was perfect for our family of five, having a bathroom each was terrific. The location was perfect for exploring the Galway area..

  • Daniel was a great host. The house is clean and well equipped for a family. We loved the area. Close to Galway without being in the main hub. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

  • The house was exactly as described and there was the bonus of a small garden with a soccer goal for the kids! I'd spoken to Angela on the way there, who was very helpful and then Marie popped round the evening we arrived and went through the basics of the house. She was really lovely and couldn't do enough for us.

    Emma2016-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • The house was absolutely wonderful. Plenty of space, walking distance to shops, food and sights. We were greeted by Angela's mom who brought milk and bread and filled is in on our surroundings. We only wished we had booked for longer!
