Join me on one of the most beautiful seaside routes in Puglia! You will have unforgettable memories! We will discover the world's unique sea caves. We will explore the Palazzese Cave known to host a restaurant between rocks and sea! You'll see Isla de l 'Eremita, where a man has been isolating for decades! And caves that welcome the sun inside! We will also see the statue of Domenico Modistico and ancient buildings built on the rocks overlooking the sea, which arestill inhabited! All this while you alternate between each cave, you'll discover the stories and legends I've shared along a six-mile route. Before your return, you can't miss a dip in the most beautiful sea waters in Puglia and we will say goodbye with a toast and sample the famous Apulian taralli!

The visit, that will last about 3 hours, will start from Piazza Ferrarese where we will start telling you some secrets of beautiful Bari. There we will look for Vito, a local musician, to experience "Tarantella" a typical Apulian dance and have some fun singing and playing with his instruments. Later on, we will stop at one of the oldest "Panificio" of the city to taste our typical focaccia. This will give us some good energy to continue discovering the city. Next stop will be the cosy Basilica of Saint Nicholas with the secrets of its walls, the beautiful Cathedral of Saint Sabinus and the exterior of the millenary Swabian Castel. From there, we will have a food stop in a typical "Salumeria" to taste different types of salumi and cheese while enjoying a glass of delicious Primitivo wine. We will continue visiting the famous Pasta Street where ladies still make pasta outside. And yet another stop to taste typical fried food freshly cooked by Signora Maria. We will meet in our bistro, Caffè Portineria, in the center of Bari at 5 pm. We will get to know each other enjoying a snack with you, herbal teas, a coffee shop and a delicious cake made at home by Grandpa Nino for the occasion. After the snack, the lesson will begin at 5.30. Our Giuliana will teach us how to prepare the typical Apulian focaccia, simple, genuine and suitable for any occasion: to accompany the main meals or as a snack for breakfast and as a snack. The lessons and preparation will last about an hour. Everyone will knead and prepare a small focaccia and we will bake it all together. While we wait 30 minutes for the focaccia to be cooked, Giuliana will show the most curious how to prepare the most typical Italian aperitif cocktails (spritz, American, non-alcoholic fruit cocktail). At 6.30 pm we will all enjoy the aperitif together, enjoying the fragrant and fragrant freshly prepared and baked focaccia together with the cocktails we will have learned to mix. A fantastic and unforgettable boat trip to discover the breathtaking sea caves and the famous cliff of Polignano a Mare, visiting the whole coastline from North-West to South-East, enjoying especially the view of the sea cave with a restaurant inside "Grotta Palazzese", the islet "Scoglio dell'Eremita" and the beautiful sea cave "Grotta Stampagnata". A unique informal experience taking about 1 hour, with an experienced driver-guide, who will reveal some secrets and legends hidden behind such unique natural beauties. Starting from the main square Piazza del Ferrarese, we will walk deeper inside the Old Town strolling through its narrow streets where we can learn the history, the culture and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of this place out of time. During the walk we will visit Basilica of St. Nicholas and the Cathedral, two examples of the majestic Apulian Romanesque style. We will also see the famous women making fresh pasta along the streets. At the end a stop at the Swebian Castle before reaching the modern part made of French style boulevards, elegant buildings and theatres and the iconic and monumental sea front.

The POLIGNANO kayak trip is a fascinating tour, not physically demanding and therefore also suitable for those who have never gone kayaking. Included in the price is the SEA KAYAK COURSE FOR BEGINNERS guided by a 2nd level sea kayak instructor of the Italian Canoe and Kayak Federation. On the way we will show you hidden caves and ravines, all to be explored! After putting on the life jackets and entering our kayaks, we will be ready to sail southwards alongside the splendid and very high coast of Polignano. We will pass by the famous beach of Lama Monachile, we will visit Arcivescovado Cave, Palazzese Cave and will swim into the clear water of the Ardito Cave. This trip gives great emotions and allows you to navigate the blue waters of the coast of Polignano looking at the very high rocky coast that separates the city from the sea.
