"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Charming farm stay close to Dubbo

As Dubbo has now entered into another drought, the lake is drying up, paddocks becoming bare and dusty. We would love to host you however understand if you would prefer to visit when the place is looking fabulous again. Sharing this information as I believe it’s best to be honest and don’t want to create unrealistic expectations. However inside the cottage is welcoming, sunsets great and lots of wildlife outside. Nil cleaning or surcharges applied.
