The villa comprises of a spacious lounge room with dining table and four chairs. There are two comfortable couches and a brand new TV DVD player. The cosy kitchen has a fridge, microwave, stove and oven and all the utensils you will need to make yourself a feast. Basics such as breakfast cereal, pasta, oil, spices etc are provided. The bedroom has a double bed and large wardrobe with all linen and towels provided. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and small vanity and also has a front loading washing machine. The Villa unit is located only a few minutes' walk from all public transport options including trains direct to the city, trams down both Sydney Road and Lygon Street and buses travelling east and west. The villa has off street, under cover car parking available. If you are travelling by car, the villa is couple of minutes drive from Citilink and only 20 minutes from Tullamarine Airport.   • We enjoyed our stay in this private, quiet unit. This compact space is an easy walk to public transport and shops and includes a proper well equipped kitchen/living room, separate bedroom, ensuite style bathroom which has in it a clothes washer, and a small outside courtyard. Space in the bathroom is tight and may not suit larger people or people with mobility issues but was fine for us. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stress free stay. Susie was a very helpful, friendly and obliging host. Nothing was too much trouble and requests for information or assistance were dealt with promptly. We hope to stay again next time we are in Melbourne.

  • Susie's Brunswick unit is exactly as pictured. Its cosy, very clean and has everything you need. Susie was so thoughtful she even contacted me before I arrived to ask what breakfast food I liked. She was also quick to respond to any questions I had. The unit is within easy walking distance to train and tram lines, and its also easy to drive in and park if you have a car. I would recommend Susie's unit to anyone visiting Melbourne, its a great place and Susie is a wonderful host.

    Treat yourself to a relaxing retreat in our converted stables. Nestled in our leafy backyard overlooking the saltwater pool, the stables are clean, light filled and private with private access.
    The neighbourhood is steeped in history and together with the famous racecourse it provides a beautiful backdrop. We also love the many restaurants and eateries plus the easy public transport. It is also a very safe neighbourhood.

  • I will strong recommend Joe and Miki's house. They are very kind and treat you like family. House and laundry are pretty clean and tidy. That's no reason to complain this house.   • Honestly would not recommend. Location: out of the way, not walking distance to any amenities, bad traffic. House: big and very cold, more cluttered than photos. Seems like a nice area, but my partners new car got key'd all along the side whilst parked outside where we were told was safe. Cleanliness: the bathroom was awful, long and short black hairs all over the floor, dust, mirrors and shower not clean. The bedroom had not been hoovered, old socks under the bed, stains on mirrors which I wiped off easily. Hosts: we found our stay quite uncomfortable. We got messages about rinsing dishes before putting in the dishwasher and were scolded about having shoes on when hosts also wore shoes. It seems the host wants the common areas of her home to be spotless and not used by us, yet her standards of cleanliness for the guest areas is terrible. Communication: initially communication was good, until we asked if we could put on the heating then we were ignored. There were multiple comments made about even putting on heating in one room, making us feel like we needed to sit in the cold. We enquired before booking if we would be sharing a bathroom and we were told it would be ours for our stay. Then with two nights to go, two men moved in without warning and were using the same bathroom. we found this upsetting as we had explained we were a private couple and would not have booked otherwise. If you want to come to Melbourne you'll find this place out of the way, overpriced, you won't feel welcome to use the communal space and it's unlikely to be clean if you experience what we did. I have stayed in Air Bnb all over the world and I have never been so glad to leave a property in my life! Sorry - but it ruined our week in Melbourne.

  • This was definitely a home away from home with every confort laid on including a coffee machine with coffee capsule, milk, bread, jam and chocolate biscuits ... there’s sopa powder in the laundry and plenty of fresh clean linen. I was exceeding comfortable and slept like a baby in the ‘real’ bed. The Rob and Sonia are discrete and try to help in every way possible. Highly recommended!

There are Tram Station(109)、Bus Station(285) and Railway Station around my house. It is about 100 metres from my house to Tram Station(109),and about 15 minutes from my house to Mont Albert railway station、Surrey Hills railway station and Chatham railway station,so it is very convenint to go to Box Hill and City for (Website hidden by Airbnb) takes you roughly 20 minutes to go to the city by tram 109,do not need to transfer. It takes you about 5 minutes to walk to Blawn Shopping Center.There are the supermarket、the banks、the library and the Clinic in the shopping (Website hidden by Airbnb) is very convenient. I prepared one private room has a Queen Size bed、beautiful and comfortable bedclothes、a desk、a lamp、a bookcase and a wardrobe for you.The room can be locked.The wifi is unlimited,and air-conditioning keep comfortable temperature in summer and winter.We can share the kichen、the refrigerator and the laundry.We offer free wash and dry clothes once a week in the laundry next to my house.The parking is free all the day.   • The room did not have heating - and it was quite cold. However it was warm under the covers which helped. Struggled with the bathroom amenities. There was no hot water and no rubbish bin in the toilet. However it’s good for a one night stay just for a place to sleep. The communication with the host was excellent with quick response times which was much appreciated.

Her home is clean, tidy and welcoming. There were five of us and we had plenty of bed space and our own bathroom. Towels, soap and shampoo were provided. April also made space for our pantry and fridge items so we could do our own cooking instead of takeaway if we wanted (which we did). She also provided tea and coffee. It is also a very quiet areas considering it is so close to major roads. No traffic noise at all. We can't fault this place at all! Would stay there anytime. Great!

Though, at first we didn't realise that the host was staying in the apartment as well, as with the other reviews, we found that the host was very unintrusive and that we hardly knew she was there. Though there is room to sleep 7, we found that with adult children or more than 4 people was a little bit cramped. It was very clean and having the wifi password ready and waiting when we got there, was a great touch! It was very central to what we wanted to do and also close to local shops. It is perfect to stay in if you are out and about during the day and then want to come home and recharge during the night.

    Extremely lovely unit in the beautiful, quiet suburb of Newport. Close to any amenities you may need or want during your stay. Off street parking is provided.
    Comfortable and affordable. Suburban enough to feel like a local, but close enough to the city to enjoy all it has to offer! The unit has 2 bedrooms furnished, one with a Queen sized bed and a King Single in the other. Kitchen fitted out with all of the basic essentials. BBQ, table and chairs in a small private outside area. Please note if Bbq is used it must be cleaned! There is a garage attached to the unit but its not accessible for guests and is used for storage. Very comfortable place to stay.
    Newport has everything at your fingertips! It has walking and cycling tracks, gyms, restaurants, cafes, fabulous little beaches, great shopping strip and Sunday markets! Newport Lakes Reserve is around the corner and is one of Melbourne's best kept secrets... 33 hectares in size, its an former Bluestone quarry turned into a beautiful parkland, walking tracks and lake. The ferry leaves from Williamstown to Southbank which is great on a sunny day, or you can take the bike punt under the West Gate bridge to Port Melbourne and cycle around the bay! Newport substation is the local arts precinct.

    Huntly is a Victorian Mansion in Yarraville. The house is beautiful and spacious. On offer is 1 or 2 bedrooms. The price quoted is for 1 ensuite room for 1 night. Both rooms are separate private bedroom with separate ensuites. You will have full use of the kitchen and lounge. The ensuite bathrooms both have large marble tiles on the floor and a European shower vanity and toilet. The bedrooms are painted in neutral colours and the beds are both queen beds
    This is no ordinary house. This is a Mansion. You can book 1 or 2 large bedrooms and both have their own ensuites. The ensuites include a shower a toilet and vanity. The price quoted is for 1 bedroom but you can add other parties and another room at additional cost. The bedrooms are both beautiful they are painted in neutral colours with lovely furnishings. The rooms are in a Mansion located 4 kms from the Melbourne CBD and in the heart of the Yarraville. Access to the kitchen for cooking and the lounge with TV and DVD is also available. You will have access to other parts of the house that are public areas including a large garden. Car parking onsite is also available to guests. Wifi is available.
    The Yarraville Village is 200 meters away. Restaurants ,cafes The Sun Theatre, The Yarraville Club and a wide range of shops are within a 1 minute walking distance from the house. The Yarraville station is close and the train to the city is a 10 minute journey. Locations such as Docklands, the M.C.G, Melbourne CBD., Williamstown the Flemington racetrack are all less than 5 kms away. The proximity to Melbourne makes it an excellent location to stay for the theatre in Melbourne or events at the Melbourne Convention centre or the Melbourne Show grounds .

  • Brenda's home is exquisite in every way and Brenda is a very warm, hospitable, cheerful and kind host. I could not imagine staying anywhere more beautiful than at Brenda's home in Yarraville. The rooms are huge, grand, with lofty ceilings and luxurious bathrooms. The downstairs has a lovely huge living room, breakfast area, breakfast table and spacious kitchen, from where you can look out over (and step through french doors into the garden and on to the veranda that circles the house). I felt as if I was in a beautiful old grand house in the country, and that is true except that the city (cafes, pubs, a flower shop, coffee shops, banks, a pharmacy, several grocery stores (including organic grocery stores), and so forth) is at the doorstep.

    Light filled, two bedroom unit in Kew. Our home is suitable for up to four people and has great access to the Eastern Freeway and public transport (bus and tram) into Melbourne city. The 109 and 48 trams both stop at the top of our street the 48 takes you straight to the MCG and the 109 takes you right into the city. Around the corner on Wilsmere road there is a local grocer/cafes/restaurants and shops (approx 300m away), more options can also be found on High street (approx 800m away).
    The accommodation includes two bedrooms, one bathroom, fully functional kitchen, wifi, laundry, off street parking and a lovely courtyard. Both Stan and Neftlix can be played on the TV.

    This Mansion is something (Website hidden by Airbnb) has a history related to the Cuming family and a story of hard work and success in 1890. It is connected to the Western Bulldogs and the first President of the club . If you book the whole house you will have the use of with the 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. All rooms have high ornate ceilings and polished floorboards. There is a larģe family area, a lounge and a large kitchen with french doors overlooking the rear garden. The beds include 4 queen size beds with pillow top mattresses of very good quality. There are 4 renovated bathrooms and 2 of the 4 are ensuites bathrooms with separate showers. All bathrooms have been recently renovated with large marble floor tiles and European fittings. Ist Floor - Three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms Ground floor 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. The house is a 1 minute walk to the Yarraville village has all the shopping you require including supermarkets bakers etc There are numerous restaurants in Yarraville with all types of cuisine. Perfectly located for guests to attend the Flemington Race track, theatre activities in the CBD, Docklands, Footscray ,AFL football venues Williamstown and the CBD Melbourne. Car parking onsite caters for 4-5 cars with easy access is unique at a property so close to Melbourne. The Sun Theatre provides movie entertainment within a short walk from the house. The train from the nearby Yarraville station goes directly to the city. It is a 15 min ride from Yarraville to the CBD. A taxi ride would be around the same time. It is a work in progress, so be tolerant, but truly amazing to see this magnificent house slowly being restored and returned to its original Grandness. We all felt very grand, staying here with huge bedrooms, high ceilings, wide hallways and the perfect original leadlight window at the entrance. Very handy to great café's and shops. Lovely area to be in. We had the best family time, many laughs and memories that will last a lifetime. We feel very lucky to have found this treasure.

  • To give the maximum rating on a review might seem exaggerate to some readers. However, my girlfriend and I have spent 2 months and a half in Banu's charming studio and we know what we are talking about. First the facts. The studio: The room is little but completely independent. The furniture and style is a tasteful blend of North Africa and Eastern Asia, hence the name Studio Moroc. It has a small and functional kitchen, a large table, a comfortable double bed, sofa, armchair and tv, as well as a rather large bathroom with bathtub. It also has a cupboard and an open wardrobe to hang coats and shirts. It is perfect for 1 or 2 people, but it can easily accommodate a couple with a small child. We found it in mint condition and completed with all the necessary items such as extra towels, blankets and cooking equipment. Room arrangement: The room is located in an independent building in the back of the host's house. A beautiful garden, with a fountain and a magnesium swimming pool, separates it from the main house. This means that the guests can have as much privacy as they want while being a shout away from the hosts, should they need anything. Location: The hosts, Banu and Andrew, live in Elwood which is a quiet residential suburb in south Melbourne. It takes roughly 20 minutes to get to the city centre from there and there are two comfortable trams that run pretty much all day long. Apart from being close to the center, The studio Moroc is within 10 min. walking distance from : 1. A several kilometres long seaside path where you can walk, run, cycle, or just relax and enjoy the nice bay beach. 2. All the necessary facilities such as supermarket, bakery, butcher, barber, cloth shops, etc. 3. St. Kilda, which is one of the most young and lively neighbourhoods in Melbourne, especially in Summer, full of restaurants, pubs, Sunday Markets and even a permanent Luna Park. In summary, everything about the room is as good as you could expect. Now our personal impressions. Banu's family is amazing. They made us feel immediately at home and were always very available and ready to respond to our immediate needs after we moved into their room. The family is composed by Banu and Andrew, their gorgeous daughter Ruby and the wonderful Naani, Banu's Mother. They also have a little dog, Luna, who used to spend some time with us and made our permanence at their place even merrier. But don't worry, should you so require the dog will not bother you at all. Overall, they are all very easy going, nice, and and sensitive. We developed a tight bond with them and we will remember our time in Melbourne as one of the most amazing of our life. To conclude, we highly recommend to anyone eyeing the Studio Moroc as a possible accommodation, for either a short or long period of time,...

Its the old house with the good location, need to extra care for using the facilities, such the bathroom door lock, only away to open but no signage, otherwise, you may lock yourself inside the bathroom alone and need to wait for someone open from outside. the door lock do not have signage. Also the hair dryer misplaced by their cleaning staff or whatever, need to check all of the items provided the owners, otherwise, need to ask the owner on each items. Must be have the Australian Mobile that will be easy to contact with the owner and get respond quickly. Room size is good and nothing ask for more coz its the old house.

  • On this visit to Melbourne I was looking for somewhere that was both quiet and that made for an easy trip into the CBD. The accurately described private and cosy bungalow was the answer. I spent a few weeks here, its a spacious standalone building, in a peaceful suburb, with everything you need, but in particular, a fantastic shower, a very comfortable bed and an efficient washing machine. The train station and supermarkets are all within a leisurely 10 – 20 minute walk. The host family are very friendly and welcoming, as are the four legged companions. Tasia and tony are happy to provide all the help you need or leave you to your own devices, depending on your preference. An abundance of amenities plus a generous selection of food is provided to get you started. A very enjoyable airbnb experience.

    Welcome to St Kilda and to our unique St Kilda mansion. Our five-bedroom house is truly beautiful and in a stunning location. The house is huge (over 400sqm) and is bright, light and airy with heaps of space for up to 10 people to enjoy. This is one of the best locations in St Kilda. You won't need a car (though we have off-street parking for two cars if you do drive). Acland Street is 2-3 minutes walk and the beach about 1km away, Fitzroy Street and Carlisle Street are an easy walk. The St Kilda Botanic Gardens are at our back door and trams to the city (no.96 and 16) within minutes. The house has everything you will need for a short or long term stay, making it perfect for families, groups, girlfriend getaways and corporate relocations. Naturally, there is WiFi and Netflix.   • This home was a highlight of our extended visit to Australia from the United States. We stayed as five professional colleagues. First, the photos and the description didn't really do justice to how large, comfortable and welcoming the home is. All five of the bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and beautiful furniture, with four bedrooms in the front of the house and one at the back. All on one floor, the house has high ceilings, fun art, lots of great books, and is well appointed for having a casual BBQ, to having a formal dinner party. In addition to the bedrooms, the front sitting room is more formal, yet very comfortable (complete with board games); the large sitting room (currently featured as the cover photo) has tons of natural light from high sky lights; the large office is well appointed with (at the time we stayed) a monitor, printer, and wired internet; the formal dining room comfortably can seat 14 or more, and contained some of my favorite art in the house; the kitchen is large and well appointed (with five of us cooking, we never ran into each other!), and the kitchen contains a table that seats 6 (or was it 8?) as well as a small couch where the cooks of our group relaxed while the rest of us tidied up after dinner; a small laundry room with a washer and dryer as well as drying racks to air dry the items that needed it. Given that we were using the house for business travel, we were pleasantly surprised that we could conduct three simultaneous conference calls in different parts of the house without even hearing each other. The internet was fast and reliable. But the best part of the home is that the huge glass doors in the kitchen that opened to our favorite feature of the house, the garden, an oasis in three weeks of hectic traveling and business meetings. The multi-level garden has couches and squishy chairs, two dining tables that seat 6-8 each (one in the sun, and one in the shade), lounge chairs for sunning oneself, grassy areas, rustling trees, a large beautiful fish pond with a whimsical fountain, and even enough space for some outdoor yoga. We spent as much time as possible in the garden/kitchen. We would be remiss to not mention the hospitality of both Jenny and Ian who ensured that our stay was as perfect as it could have been. It felt as if we should have had them over for dinner to share stories of travel and wine. Just a note to anyone who may need an accessible place - this might not be an ideal choice for you. While the house is on one floor, the entrance has two steps, and there is one step from the front bedrooms to the majority of the common spaces including two of the three bathrooms. But, I wouldn't be surprised if Jenny had a way to make it work!

There was even a separate list (actually it was a personally filled out reference book) of nearby restaurants.
