As soon as we’ll be ready, we’ll begin with our traditional cooking lesson where our mothers and grandmothers will show you all the techniques for making Focaccia, handmade pasta and cheese. They will teach you all the techniques of the past and you will have to prepare everything with them. When every dishes will be ready, the focaccia will be baked in the wood-fired oven and you will have dinner with the products of yourselves made (Focacce, Orecchiette and Formaggio) and also other traditional dishes we will prepare for you. Obviously water, beer and wine are included. If at the end of the experience you will have satisfied yourself we will have reached our goal and before leaving we will give you a small souvenir of Puglia Other things to note All experience phases will be translated in English. A fantastic and unforgettable boat trip to discover the breathtaking sea caves and the famous cliff of Polignano a Mare, visiting the whole coastline from North-West to South-East, enjoying especially the view of the sea cave with a restaurant inside "Grotta Palazzese", the islet "Scoglio dell'Eremita" and the beautiful sea cave "Grotta Stampagnata". A unique informal experience taking about 1 hour, with an experienced driver-guide, who will reveal some secrets and legends hidden behind such unique natural beauties. Enjoying the point of view of Polignano from the sea is a wonderful experience not to miss :) Also ideal for groups and teams: please send a message if you have a large group. I'll explain you the rules of the game, I'll give you a map with places that you need to visit as well as riddles to solve for each one. While you go searching, I'll stay at the starting point in case you need more hints. We start an evening with the preparation of the dough of PANZEROTTI a typical delicacy from Apulia and in the meantime we see how to prepare SPRITZ. A fun tour of the Baroque city center focused on recognizing the beauty and poetry hidden in the landscapes and architectures by experiencing the places 'on your own body’ and obtaining unique shots of your vacation. In my work as a choreographer I have always been fascinated by the relationship between architecture and body, landscape and movement. The experience is the result of years of observation and experimentation and is a little taste of what I often do with my students in choreographic composition or urban dance workshops. While showing you my favourite places within the old city walls I will lead you in a game that implies a simple way to 'insert' your body in a landscape by concentrating on the lines and shapes around you and putting it in a interesting frame in photos. With an AIGAE Hiking Environmental Guide, starting from Porta Pistola, in the Sassi district of Matera, we will walk along the path that leads to the Gravina stream. Then, after crossing the Tibetan Bridge on the stream, we will go up to the Belvedere of Murgia Timone, to the Cave Church of Sant'Agnese and admire the Rione Sassi from the Belvedere of Murgia Timone. We will then walk back along the route from the Belvedere to the Jazzo Gattini bus stop, where we will take the bus Murgia line that will take us back to Piazza Matteotti, in Matera. Along the way, we will stop at some panoramic points on the Sassi or offering views of the evocative rocky vegetation, or erosive trails known as "gravine" and other rock formations (spires, pinnacles, grottoes and caves) created over the course of the millennia. You can admire the many species of flora (for example, the Apulian bluebell, the thyme and the winter savory, along with mastic and olive shrubs) and fauna (you can see birds of prey such as the golden hawk or grill bowl, or, near the stream, listening to the singing of the nigthingale and the wren, or the croaking of the frogs).
