  • Stayed at Serranna during the Covid 19 outbreak so we didn’t get to see much outside of the villa, took the opportunity to relax and unwind at the villa enjoying the sunshine, fantastic views and all of the amazing amenities on offer, Janus was a great host and accommodated us perfectly, thank you

    Debbie2020-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • Janus and his team deliver exceptional service in every way - the beautiful, well-equipped villa was an excellent place to spend “downtime” on our vacation, and getting around the island to sightsee was a breeze thanks to the driver service. Serrana Villa’s location is excellent! Walking to downtown Soufriere took ~20 min - not too far away if you want to spend time in town, but far enough that the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

  • Everything was AMAZING!!!!!! Janus was a great host, we loved everything. Cant wait to go back!!

    Raquel2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely stunning property with excellent views of the city and the Pitons. Janus was a gem to work with. He was able to arrange all of our transportation and even sent his driver up to deliver some wine and beer late in the evening. An extremely positive experience and a place we will definitely return to!

    Kristi2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • A bit hard to find in the dark, but once we were there we loved the house- the private pool and deck especially. We had a terrific time!

    Jill2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • The view, the view! A stunning villa and the patio overlooking Soufrière is breathtaking. If you want to interact with the locals but still want a place that provides quietness this is the location

    Jackie2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • What can be said about Serrana Villa and Janus that has not been recounted here? My husband and I stayed 10 wonderful days in January 2020 for our honeymoon. We have stayed in a few AirBnBs but never outside the US. We never go on "big" trips so theres always the apprehension picking the "right" place. We truly feel like we accomplished that! Any hesitation on your part looking at this place- its the real deal. Its exactly what it looks like in pictures. Its beautiful, spacious, clean, well stocked and the views! And the pool! We spent so much time lounging at our beautiful villa and staring at the amazing views. We are so glad we decided to stay in an AirBnB instead of a resort- you really get a feel for the local area if you stay in a town like Soufriere. The local food is delicious, the people nice and colorful, and the beaches beautiful. We truly did not want to leave. Janus is the nicest host- always ready with an answer and help. He dropped off the most delicious grapefruits and bread at our doorstep twice that I have ever had. Any time we needed a ride- even last minute- we could call him up and we were provided with a competent, friendly driver (we chose not to rent a car). Thank you Janus!! We cant wait to come back and stay with you.

    Jen2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • We LOVED our stay here! We stayed 2 nights in Serrana villa and 2 nights in Saba and loved them both. This villa is so cozy and private. Here are a few things about our stay: Host: Janus will take care of anything you need. ANYTHING! Janus is so responsive answering questions and he has connections for everything - tours, chauffeurs, chef, etc. He will definitely go out of his way to make sure your stay is exceptional! Janus greeted us when we arrived and also before we checked out. We were so sad to leave. Location: Soufriere is hands down the best part of the island! I am so glad we stayed here for the majority of our vacation. It is definitely the most beautiful part of the island and is where most of the things to see and do are. We drove all the way up to the north side of the island and saw where the cruise ships come in, where the Sandals resorts are, etc. and I would not recommend staying up there. If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and stay near Soufriere instead and book one (or two) of Janus’s places. You'd be able to walk from here to town, although having a rental car makes things easier. We felt very safe, both at the villa and around town. Villa & Amenities: We were just two people, but it could easily accommodate four. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice. We only used the air conditioner at night to cool it down a bit and get the humidity out for sleeping, but otherwise we enjoyed the warm open air feel of the villa. Wifi was good and the kitchen had everything we needed. Roads/Driving: We are from the United States so drive on the opposite side of the road. The roads are bumpy and steep in some places, but nothing that can’t be navigated, so don’t let the roads deter you from renting a car. We are so glad we had a car! We did not have cell phone service in St. Lucia but I had downloaded the offline map and we used that for navigation, which worked quite well. We did use the chauffeur service (Janus lined this up) one evening though to go out for a nice meal, as we did not want to drive back that far in the dark. Highly recommend this service as well! Honestly, before booking this villa, when I was reading reviews for all of Janus’s villas, I was thinking that these places couldn’t possibly be so good, at such an affordable price. Everything in the reviews is true and the photos are very accurate. Thanks for the incredible stay, Janus! You provided us with a very memorable trip to St. Lucia and we are so lucky to have celebrated our 20th anniversary here.

  • I found myself at Mora’s place when my hotel closed without warning, along with the rest of the country of St Lucia. I give the place 5 stars in all categories. Five stars under the circumstances of a global pandemic equals 5 thousand stars during normal times. FYI. Mora responded to my query immediately and I was able to move into the apartment within a few hours of booking. Mora was so helpful and accommodating at a weird difficult time for everyone. The country was on a total lockdown that included groceries. Mora was so generous! She waited in line for hours to help me with supplies. She didn’t have to do that, as I know she needed to get supplies for herself too! But she reassured me she could pick up stuff for me and she did! I was also close enough to town to be able to walk all the side streets (when they let us out!) and find the secret unmarked bakeries and ... hmmm I probably shouldn’t write that! There was fresh fruit being sold in a parking lot and MAN the fruits (bananas grapefruits papayas apples passion fruits mangos coconuts) are fresh from peoples yards! So good. And finding the fresh local bread (and smelling it!!) was a delight. The apartment has a full size fridge, and a gas stove. I’m not a fancy cook but the kitchen had everything I needed. The porch and view are for sure the highlights of the place. And I was always deeply grateful for the air conditioned bedroom. South facing so lovely sunrises and sets. Right on the edge of town so no car needed to get around locally. The place was clean as a whistle. I stayed at Moras place for 2 unexpected weeks during lockdown and what will always stay with me (besides the perfect views of Petit Piton and the rainforest) was her generosity and professionalism during a global crisis! Highly recommended this apartment for when things are normal, and even when they are not!

  • On Friday March 27, 2020 at 10am I was the only guest at the hotel I had been in for the previous week. They were closing up. At around That same time, my airline alerted me that my flight for that day back to US was cancelled. No alternatives offered. So I had like 1 hour to find a place to stay in nearby Soufriere. I saw Mora’s place on Airbnb, she contacted me back immediately with a yes, and met me at the property a few hours after that. For her to have been soooo responsive during a crisis in her country and the world was simply amazing. I suspect some other hosts did not want the responsibility of managing a stranger in their property, or of becoming infected by someone from US😒. And I don’t blame them! I’m just so grateful that Mora did not hesitate in welcoming Me in her home. She offered to get me some groceries that first day and I took her up on that generous offer. I didn’t know the town at all. A few days later, with zero warning, the country of St Lucia went into complete lockdown. Everything closed... airports, port ports, groceries, pharmacies, beaches, everything! The Prime Minister made a hard choice and reminded us all that even if we didn’t have much food in the house, we could ration and as long as we had water no one would starve! And he was right! A week later the grocery store opened again for limited hours. Mora again offered to stock me up. She got on line at 6am and didn’t get into the store until ~ 10:30am. And she got me everything I asked for! She of course was also shopping for herself but she still had to add on carrying my bags too. She responded to any dumb question I had within like 3 minutes, always. She is so smart and nice. If I didn’t have a medical condition that requires specialty medications I felt I could have rode The crisis out there if I had to. Mora helped me be safe, feel comfortable, and was always lovely and gracious. Oh and the apartment has a gorgeous view!! I’ll post pics if the website allows. The bedroom was gloriously air conditioned, and the kitchen nicely set up with gas oven and burners! The location was perfect for me... it wasn’t dead center of town but it was only a 5 minute walk to everything in town. I only utilized mini marts and little side street bakeries as everything else was closed, but it looked like it would be fun! Oh and that view! I am sorry this is so long winded but I feel so so grateful for Mora. She is an Angel and her apartment is awesome. Rent this place!

  • This apartment is an amazing deal and perfectly located for exploring Soufriere and the surrounding area. Mora met us at the place and was quick to respond to any questions we had. The apartment is spacious and the view beautiful. We loved the location on the edge of town. It is just a quick walk into town or a quick drive to any of the local sites of interest e.g. drive in volcano, botanical garden, beaches. We did hear that pesky rooster at night, which is really the only minor complaint you might have. We used ear plugs and a white noise app which helped a lot. I would still 100% recommend this place to anyone who is looking!

    Sarah2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice home!! Mora is making yourself available as soon as we need it, we didn't speak English. Very clean accommodation, very well located. However, we were very disappointed with the prices announced !!! The outputs are obliged to be made by taxi, ex: we paid for a round trip duration 20mn 40 US (36 euros). The exchange is done in Caribbean dollars so much less interesting for them. Prices are never displayed, and beware they are strong scam. The site is pretty, we stayed there for 3 nights and more than enough !!! A tip plan a big budget if you want to move !!!

    Brigitte2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed two nights at Mora's from 1/8/20-1/10/20, we wished we had at least another night because there are so many things to do around Soufriere. The walk is very close to the city's night life. Pack some coffee in your luggage and American travelers will need an electrical adapter to charge phones. Mora leaves a cell phone in the apartment for you if you don't have roaming. Hike Gros Piton if that's your thing, it was an amazing feeling to reach the top. There is an amazing Indian restaurant on the beach near Jade Mountain resort we suggest you go if you have the time. You can take a taxi or your car as we did. The island people were amazing and we felt safe in the city both nights. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back. Thank you Mora!

    Andrew2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious, lovely space with a great view. Easy walk to the beach or to town. Mora was a kind and responsive host.

    Bev2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Mora's place was wonderful. The view from the balcony and master bedroom was absolutely stunning. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed. The beach was a quick 5 minute walk down the road and we visited there often. The apartment was a bit hot, but the bedrooms had air conditioning and were cool enough at night for a good sleep. Expect local carribean nightly "white" noise, including whistling frogs, crickets and roosters. We visited other islands, and these were typical noises in all neighbourhoods. Ear plugs were provided. Mora was able to help us organize airport pickup, ferry drop off and an excursion. Everything was perfect. The driver, Chris, was very courteous and helpful, even talk our pictures and giving us tips and local advise. I would recommend this place for accommodations in the Soufriere area.

    Georgiy2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here was great. Simple place but fantastic view. A minute away from the beach (literally) and the building felt safe and modern. Good WiFi, cold AC, fans, and roosters wake you up in the morning. Mora, the liaison for this place, was super nice and helpful—always answering texts very quickly and patiently. Stay here for the value, view, and ease of location.

  • Had a top stay at Wayne and Val's. They were super quick replying to us and gave us plenty of tips. Great sea view from the balcony and really nice place - super clean and perfect for two people. Good base for people that want to get around and see different parts of the island, but car is needed.

    Nick2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • Wayne and Val’s place was amazing, such a great location for exploring and the place itself was as beautiful as the pictures. It was clean, had everything we needed and also a stunning view from the balcony. We made good use of the excellent cooking facilities and had no issues with hot water in the shower (as per previous reviews). Everyone in Canaries seemed super friendly and after arriving in the dark and feeling a bit nervous, we soon felt safe and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others as a place to stay for exploring but you absolutely would need a car.

    Amanda2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Overall our stay here was great! Made for the perfect getaway. We would definitely stay again. :) Pros: - Quick responses from host. - Easy/clear check-in instructions which make the place quite easy to find! - Beautifully decorated villa and beautiful view. - Great location if you plan on renting a car and exploring on your own! (We did this and had an amazing trip!!! About a 55 min drive from the airport and 20-30 minute drive to all the attractions on the west side of the island. We hiked the pitons, went to fond duex for the cocoa plantation tour, went to sugar beach and Anse Chastanet/Mamin.) - We had no problems with warm water for showers despite some of the other reviews. - Wi-Fi worked great - A/C in bedroom worked great Cons: - Bathroom had a bit of an unpleasant odor. - We had a small issue with mosquitoes inside the apt. (but we knew we were coming to a tropical destination and were equipped with bug spray.)

    Sabrina2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay, the apartment and the view are really beautiful! Claudia gave us a very warm welcome, we had everything we need, the sofas are really cozy and the interior design is awesome. Mosquitoes were a nuisance, however – on the balcony and inside. We had a rental car, otherwise it is probably hard to get around. Do your grocery shopping before you arrive as there is no supermarket in proximity. Anse Cochon is a good beach nearby and the whole island is soooo beautiful. Thanks for the good time!

    Christian2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • The villa is a gorgeous little place, perfect for one or a couple and situated right in the middle of anywhere you would want to go! (A drive away for sure)! Canaries is a very local place and a steep 10 min walk to the village, there’s a bar with a nice view about 2 mins away and adelines cafe just up the hill. Claudia and the owners obviously look after the villa beautifully and it had everything you could want. Anse Cochon was a beautiful beach about 15/20mins drive away that I would highly recommend. We had a great time! Thanks a lot!

    Lucy2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely space with a great view and Hospitality.

    Chris2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Being somewhat of an Airbnb veteren (stays in Australia; New Zealand; Thailand; Indonesia; Bermuda; all over the US and Canada) I may have to name my hostess, Claudia (Wayne's cousin who manages the Airbnb and lives in the main house) as my number one favourite. If you stay there you will see what I mean! The space is a lovely one bedroom, has quite good separation with a great view from the balcony. It is located in an approx. 90 minute drive from the airport; a 30 minute drive from Surfriere (Anse Chastanet); or a 60 minute drive from Castries. A car is essential as the bus is very small, infrequent and normally full. It is common to pick up passengers if you have a car and you will meet a and learn a lot about the island this way (and meet lots of Wayne, Val and Claudia's friends! as, being a small place everyone knows each other). A lovely place to stay with exceptionally wonderful people. (make sure you have Claudia cook a meal with fresh fish and local vegetables too! )

Small cozy ground floor Air-conditioned unit in 6 unit Cocoa House at La Haut Resort. Own bathroom- hot water shower. King luxury bed, in room safe. Ample cupboard space. Room has micro-wave, fridge, kettle, toaster. Balcony with Pitons, Caribbean Sea and gardens views. Across from main pool. Daily housekeeping. Welcome package. Close to town of Soufriere, restaurants, beaches & nature activities- hike Pitons/trails, sulphur springs mud baths, snorkel, scuba-dive, bird/whale/dolphin watch, sail.
La Haut or La Haute literally means “the height” in Patois, a French dialect that is commonly spoken by St. Lucians. La Haut sits on a hill overlooking Soufriere, one of the oldest towns in St Lucia. ------ Part of a 52-acre former coconut and cocoa estate, the main guesthouse, the Cocoa House was originally a cocoa house used for fermenting and drying cocoa beans hand-picked on the estate. In 1995, the building was converted and refurbished into a 6-room guesthouse now housing 3 Superior Deluxe and 3 Superior Garden rooms. Although the rich aroma of cocoa beans no longer wafts through the air, at La Haut you can enjoy the perfume-scented, tropical fauna or the salty breeze that blows off the Caribbean Sea.
Mountain area with fantastic cooling sea breezes.
  • We stayed at La Haut December 28th to January 5th. Our room did not have air conditioning but we knew that going. It did get hot mid afternoon but there was a fan and nice breeze in the evening. The view of Soufrière from our balcony was breathtaking. All the staff were awesome especially Laurenia restaurant manager (she is awesome at her job). Even the night security guys and maid staff were kind, caring and helpful. Breakfast included changed daily good variety and strong hot coffee. The owners infinity pool is stunning and we enjoyed many hours there. Thank you La Haut for a wonderful relaxing vacation!! We hope to come back and bring the whole family next time!!

  • Awesome place with a beautiful infinity pool.

    Adam2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • La Hait offers and amazing view and safe accommodations. The room is pretty big and offers a sitting area, a dining area, a mini kitchen and the sleeping area. My room was clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the grounds were well kept. I walked the grounds before bed and in the morning I was there for exercise.

    Whitney2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • La Haut had absolutely the best views of Soufriere! My boyfriend and I loved it here! So peaceful and relaxing. The hotel does not serve dinner but they did arrange for a cab to bring us into to town. Breakfast was included in was the best breakfast of the trip! Highly recommend staying here and will be back!

    Jackie2019-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • La Haut is a beautiful property. Great customer service and out of this world views!

    Omari2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful stay thanks to the setting of the establishment. Much more beautiful than let the photos show! Enjoy a breathtaking view of the two peaks, a very welcoming staff and the company of a few donkeys, horses and calves who come to walk around and let themselves be caressed easily. The infinity pool as for it is the highlight of the show! It was empty whenever we went with a splendid panoramic view. We were in room 5 but I recommend to book the ones above to enjoy the view and avoid the inconvenience of neighbors above. The city center is easily reachable on foot but the residents also stop quite nicely, there are also minibuses passing. In any case, you can book with your eyes closed.

    Laëtitia2018-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Some great views of the pitons from this place. The infinity pool located at the owner's villa has stunning views of soufrière, the sea and pitons. Price quality is pretty good considering prices of other hotels around town. Bed is comfortable and amenities are great. Overall, I definitely recommend the place.

    Simon2018-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic views from room balcony, restaurant and swimming pools. Great room (no. 3). Nice and spacious and a little kitchenette area which is very handy. Breakfast really delicious. We really enjoyed our stay here - perfect . In evenings we ate at Humming Bird which is a two minute winding drive down towards Soufriere. Also very nice.

Cosmos Lodge is a private studio with sun deck and plunge pool with panoramic views over the Caribbean sea and the Piton Mountains. There is a full kitchen, sitting area and outdoor bathroom. The Lodge is part of Cosmos St Lucia, an architectural marvel overlooking a Unesco World heritage Site, set-off in a private corner of the property with its own separate entrance. It is not overlooked, nor does it overlook the main villa. We offer private dinners, arrivals shops and spa treatments.
The perfect romantic get away for couples. The Lodge enjoys a queen size bed draped with mosquito netting that doubles as a sofa in the day. There are also two comfy armchairs and a kitchen bar. The kitchen has a full sized fridge with freezer and is adequately equipped for self catering. The outdoor bathroom is completely private, but fully open to the elements - and the gorgeous view. There is a small sun deck. We regularly "smoke-out" the property for mosquitos which reduces them significantly.
The closest beach is Anse Chastanet (less than a mile) where you will find a scuba school, excellent snorkelling (I swim there regularly with turtles), and a beach bar for drinks, snacks and lunch. Soufriere and surroundings offers a weekly market, shops and restaurants. There are numerous hotels in the vicinity offering fine dining.
  • If picturesque views from a quaint mountainside villa is what you’re after this place brings some of the best views on the island.

    Justin2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • There is absolutely no place on the island that compares! The host was one of the nicest people and really made our stay special. I can’t recommend this place enough!

    Katelynn2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Anastasia’s place is a true gem! We LOVED the almost-rustic, yet luxurious vibe of the lodge with just the two walls. The view of the Pitons and the vast ocean sprawled ahead is beyond stunning, and unreal to wake up. As other reviews state, the road up the hill is a bit of a challenge to drive upon, but we were ok. We had a small problem with the pool draining overnight during our stay and not turning back on, but the hosts were kind and prompt enough to remedy the situation immediately. We stayed in other amazing, high-end resorts on the island, but hands down this was our favorite! Highly recommend.

  • What an amazing place. It was like a cross between exclusive suite and glamping. All the mod cons. En suite bathroom with lovely hot shower and the kitchen was fully equipped to cook any meal ( gas cooker and fridge etc. ) Lying looking at the stars with the Pitons in the background was just breathtaking. The lodge was so beautiful and comfortable. We were looked after extremely well. -,thank you for everything. Do have dinner cooked for you - it was delicious and there is no better place to eat with such a view. Best advice do make sure you gave a 4x4 car if you are driving. Wished we could have stayed longer.

  • My husband and I had a truly wonderful time in the lodge. It is incredibly beautiful with views that can’t be beat. Shermika and staff are kind and responsive. It felt like a once in a lifetime gift to be able to experience it. It’s amazing. Just go!!

    Cathrin2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • WOW! Incredible! This place made me feel like I was waking up in a dream everyday. Shermika is seriously the most wonderful woman ever. I highly recommend you have her cook for you one evening as the dine in for 2 option- she is a brilliant cook! Such an amazing place with the best views. Forget Jade mtn.-- this place is tops.

    Jennifer2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • This is probably the coolest Airbnb I've stayed in, and if you are thinking about it... just book it! My wife and I usually like to explore when we travel, and I had some hikes planned while we were here, but simply couldn't leave the place. The views are unbelievable, and Shermika is always there if you need anything. We only left to go to the store and have a few meals in town, but had Shermika cook for us one night and it better than what we got in town without the hassel. We also rarely repeat a vacation, but are already thinking about coming back here (possibly with a group) just because of how great Cosmos was!

    Jon2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I stayed at Cosmos Lodge during our honeymoon visit to St. Lucia and had the best time here. As we walked into the door the open floor view out to the ocean and Pitons had our jaws on the floor. The room setup was great too and had everything we wanted or needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. Highlights included the bed, plunge pool, sundeck, reading chairs, and kitchen. Everything was extremely clean and setup for our comfort. Shermika was very helpful with all our needs and the grounds around the room were well kept and included beautiful flowers/plants. We rented a car which allowed us to easily explore the area as well (beaches, mud bath, waterfalls, resorts). Hopefully we will return one day. Very much recommend staying here. 10/10.

  • Marcus’ home is away from the town so it’s on the side of the island for those seeking relaxation. The pool is a nice feature but was cold, due to the house blocking direct sunlight. Bring your own wash cloths and basic spices (if you plan on cooking). Have Marcus show you how to work the oven. Contact Mrs. Addiline (sp) before arrival and she can prepare meals for you since she’s directly across the street. Stop at the grocery store near the airport. The one near Marcus was way more expensive and did not have high quality food. Adam (works for Marcus) is sometimes available for hire to take you to the store, beaches, mud bath etc. He is really nice!! If you go to the private beach take anything you think you might need. There is nothing there but the beach (no chairs, drinks or food). Wear shoes because you’ll have to go down the steps on the cliff. Everywhere we went took our American currency. The duty free shops at the UVF consisted of about 5 small shops (not much to choose from). White Hennessy was around $56 which is a good price, other than that it was just ok. There were little ant like creatures that bite so bring some insect repellent. Bring basic spices and wash cloths. Marcus has a regular coffee machine (not a keurig) that you use with filters and ground coffee. Grab some coffee at the store. We had issues with the ants, no wash cloths (face towels) and the oven. I will say that when we reached out to Marcus he quickly responded and had the house sprayed, brought us some wash cloths and showed us how to turn on the oven ( oven is good for making French fries and stuff but I would not bake a cake or anything in it). Also, there is not a toaster there. I believe there is only one TV in the living room so bring a book to read.

  • Thank you Marcus for everything. This was literally the best vacation ever . St Lucia and it’s people are big on hospitality and respect. From the beginning to the end of our stay everything was perfect. Any problems we encountered Marcus was quick to fix it . Make sure and try all the local foods from the street vendors , and if you’re into pepper like myself pick up a bottle of baron’s mustard based hot sauce . Friday night street party is the place to be , we felt safe and enjoyed the music . Our last night we went to a restaurant called bayside restaurant and bar . Try getting reservations for 6pm so you would be able to see the amazing view .For our entire time there we did not hire tour guides . We literally googled activities and drove to them using google maps and found everything easily. Doing so we saved money ,enjoyed the island more and had incredible adventures that we would never forget . We rented the car from Marcus which was a good choice. Marcus you would definitely be seeing me again. Thank you .

  • Wonderful place, very easy for tourists (everything what we need: chargers, plugs etc). If you want to stay close to locals - that is the place for you. Needs to have a vehicle. Jesse is helpful and easy to communicate with. Recommend 100%!

  • Really beautiful apartment, in an amazing garden, overlooking the playing field! Close to Soufriere by bus/car, nice local village! Truly perfect and Jesse was excellent with communication and had people to help in the village! Thank you so much 🥰

    Sarah2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely peaceful location, near to friendly fishing village, we hired a car, and that really made a difference, giving us access to more things. Jesse was not there during our stay, but we were looked after by Keysha, who lives locally

    Phil2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very good stay in Saint Lucia in Canary Islands. Jesse's accommodation is very functional and pleasant in a typical village. The accommodation is well located between the north (Castries, Rodney Bay) and the south (La Soufrière). Jesse is attentive and very responsive to messages. Keisha's welcome was very warm. We recommend to visit the island.

    Marion2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Jesse's place was really beautiful and we liked to be immersed in the real and colorful life of the fishing village.

    Maria Elena2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Jesse’s place is in very friendly fishing village, across from local soccer field that is well used for the weekend we were there. Car rental through Jackson, set up with Jesse, was superb ... especially as he ended up driving us to the place. Keisha met us, and showed us around the very large apartment, with great balcony, and then dropped by the next day to ensure all was good. Stove needed gas, and that was done quickly. As appears to be typical in rural St. Lucia, village has chickens and dogs that can be noisy in the morning.

    Grace2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Jesse’s place is fantastic value for money and in a great location if you want a truly authentic Caribbean experience. We felt really looked after by the locals who couldn’t do enough for us! Jesse was very responsive to any queries we had and made sure we had a local point of contact in the village. The apartment had lots of amenities and felt like a home from home!

  • Lewis and Whitney are totally awesome! The house is brand new and very classy! Sparkling clean very comfortable! Take it easy on the gravel road if you have small car. 😄 But that was not at all a deal breaker! Very very close to Soufriere, with an up close view of bay and Peton from your private patio, very close by car to Tet Paul Nature Trail, drive-in volcano/mud bath, Botanical Gardens, waterfalls. Very easy boat ride to Suger Beach and Anse Chesanet for snorkeling.

  • This place is lovely, all new. Lewis and his son are amazing hosts, they can't do enough to make sure you have a lovely time. This is a lovely area and a little different from the more commercialized areas you get to see. The pitons are a stunning view from the apartments. We didn't get to climb them but we did do the Tet Paul National park walk and it is well worth doing it. You get stunning views of the Pitons and Sugar beach. Also, just outside souferies is the Botanical garden which i would also recommend. All I can say is we had a fantastic stay with an amazing host and his son and met some lovely people. Thanks Lisa and Steve.

    Lisa2019-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation is new, sparklingly clean, all appliances work well and has views to die for. Lewis is an excellent host, happy to give lifts where possible and always quick to respond to queries. He gave me a tour of all the accommodations in the block, some of which have not yet been opened, and they are all of equal size and quality.

  • Nice, clean and quiet location in Saint-Lucia to explore the Soufriere and Vieux-Fort region with public transport. Kitchen has everything what you need for small cooking and breakfast. Fruits and vegetables can be bought at the food market near the bus terminal and there is a good bakery (next to a small supermarket near the stadium) on the way from the centre to the guesthouse.

  • You get a good value for your money here. The room and common areas were spacious, bright and well equipped and all seemed to be relatively new. The apartment is up on the hill side but the bus station, restaurants, shops and the beach are within walking distance. There’s also a restaurant next door that serves an excellent and cheap lunch.

This fully furnished 2 bedroom villa is your home away from home. The unique and open architecture of this villa allows you to live in the tree line and enjoy nature to its fullest. Spend hours on the open deck, enjoying the sweeping views, feeding the birds and flycatchers, and dining on the expansive deck while enjoying amazing views of the Pitons. This is the perfect villa to enjoy a special occasion such as an anniversary, birthday, or other special event, including a small wedding. If you have a larger group, you can rent the sister property next door, the Treehouse Hideaway Villa I, which sleeps 2 to 3. The two villas are separated by lush tropical gardens, ensuring that you'll have all the privacy that you need for your wonderful stay. This villa is a complete 2 bedroom, 2 bath, open architecture home on two floors. The first floor provides a one bedroom, one bath space with open air covered deck that provides sweeping views of the ocean and Pitons. Your first thought when you arrive on the deck is, "I better get out my camera, take a photo of this, and post it on Instagram!" The second floor provides a cozy one bedroom suite and full bath. This floor features easy access to the lush gardens and refreshing plunge pool, a great spot to work on your tan and relax with a drink or catch up on your beach reading on the lounger. Outside you can also enjoy the special outdoor shower. It's really refreshing after a jam-packed day hiking the Gros Piton or exploring the Edmund rainforest. The adjoining full bathroom features a large shower. In the living area you'll find a futon couch (that can also be used for sleeping) and an entertainment area that provides a smart tv, bluetooth music system, and full wifi that works nicely throughout the property. The full featured kitchen provides plenty of counter space, full size fridge, gas oven/stove, microwave, and all the appliances you'll need including a juicer (to take advantage of all the local tropical fruits available), blender, toaster, coffee maker and grinder, and even a state of the art air fryer perfect for making fried plantains or other local dishes. The bottom floor space provides plenty of privacy for a second set of guests (friends, relatives, etc.). Here you'll find a queen size bed, a full bath, and a little working area for making coffee and warming up meals with the included induction burner. The space also provides a small fridge. Notes: Treehouse I vs. Treehouse II We operate two treehouse villas in the area: Treehouse I and II. The Treehouse I villa is a little smaller than Treehouse II. Each Treehouse comes with its own private plunge pool and the villas are separated by very lush gardens ensuring that there is maximum privacy between the villas. Both villas can be rented together to support a group of 6+, for a special stay with good friends and family. If you'd like to rent both villas, ask us about a discount! My wife and I have been coming to St Lucia for over a decade. We have stayed in locations all over the island but this is always the area we come back to over and over again. It's like home to us. The scenery, the reef, the people, the adventures, bring us back again and again. That's why we purchased the Treehouse villas when they became available. This villa is located in a neighborhood of multi million dollar villas all featuring amazing views of the Pitons and the inviting Caribbean ocean. The best feature is that you can walk right to the beach. Anse Chasatanet and Anse Mamin are a fairly short walk downhill a little over a half mile away. From the villa, you can also walk to Soufriere town, which is about a mile away. The popular Hummingbird local beach near town is also a great location for sunning, swimming, and snorkeling (the three important "s" activities for your vacation). But keep in mind that the terrain is hilly and the walking (if you are not used to it) can be a little strenuous. There is some hiking you can do in the neighborhood, and the area is fairy quiet and peaceful. We always feel really safe here. It's a good area to meet other travelers and the staff who work in the villas nearby are always around to help or provide valuable local resources and travel tips if you are in need of anything.
  • Keith and his house manager Charmaine were amazing. Villa II is wonderful and the view from the deck is absolutely spectacular. You could not ask for a better view of the pitons, a very special place. We had to cut our vacation short due to the Coronavirus, but we plan to go back. Thank you, Keith and Charmaine!

    Eleanor2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Just an incredible spot with amazing views and a wonderful staff.

    Cotten2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • The treehouse is amazing. My wife and I had a wonderful stay there on our honeymoon. Seeing the sunset on the deck while looking at the Pitons is beautiful. We also enjoyed getting to know Charmaine and eating her delicious home cooked meals. All the other reviews are true - the Treehouse is an incredible place for a truly one of a kind vacation.

    Josh2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This place checks off all the boxes from amazing location to those welcoming touches that can turn a stay into a place that you want to return to again and again. The proof? This is our 7th consecutive year at either Treehouse 1 or 2 and we booked our 8th stay before we left for home. I could write a volume on what I like but no one would read it so I’ll try to be brief. - The view is amazing. The pitons. Sunsets. The moon and stars and Venus... - The birds and gardens make you feel as though you are part of the lush island. - The location is near great snorkeling, some of the top activities in St. Lucia, and yet you feel tucked away from it all. - The staff can’t be matched for their attention to detail, caring, and interest in ensuring that you have the opportunity to experience whatever it is you desire. - The small touches including some unexpected supplies (compared to most rentals in St. Lucia) really make life easier. - The owner is extremely responsive. - The furnishings are comfortable, attractive, and always being added to. - The guest books offer a wealth of insight into what others have found -from fun activities to the best places to eat. I’ll stop there so I won’t overwhelm you with everything we love about staying here. A couple of hints: If you’re new to the area, do take their advice on how to deal with the open environment and insects. (They provide what you need & you can also bring anything special.) Our first year we arrived after dark and it was a scary ride from Castries through narrow and twisting roads with a hired driver. I knew we were safe and we were very happy to have had a driver for our arrival. After that first night we have always had a rental car but others less experienced with narrow roads, right hand drive, etc. can also choose to stick with hiring a driver when needed. The Treehouse owner and manager will help you figure out what works for you and there are some great ones who will feel like friends by the time you leave!

  • We had an awesome 3 night stay at the Treehouse Villa II and are already longing to go back! Keith is very responsive and provides many great tips of the area and gave us some great things to do! Charmaine was wonderful and checked in on us everyday to make sure we had everything we needed (also as an added bonus, she straightened everything up each day which was a nice surprise)! The Treehouse Villas are in a great location in Soufriere and are walking distance to Anse Chastanet beach and another secret beach. Everything that you may need throughout your stay is already there including googles and snorkels, all cooking utensils and even a bbq grill. Stay here and you will NOT be disappointed!

    Shaylin2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • The treehouse is everything we could have wanted and more. The views of the ocean and the Piton mountains are some of the best views in Soufrière in my opinion. Perfect view of the sunset every night. Beaches are relatively close. Charmaine and the rest of the staff are super hospitable and will take care of anything you need. Great place to stay, will definitely be back!

  • Our stay here was amazing! The villa has a gorgeous view of the ocean and the pitons. Morning coffee on the balcony with the sunrise and the birds right off our balcony was incredible — we even used our bird calling app and were able to attract various species of birds to our balcony! The local dining is excellent. The best snorkeling on the island is a short walk away with crystal clear water and beautiful reefs. Charmaine and the staff were the best and helped us with whatever we need. Keith was responsive and super helpful when needed! The villa was really clean with everything you need from kitchen to comfortable bed and views you won’t forget. We will absolutely be back!

  • To experience something truly amazing I would recommend this place to anyone who desires fantastic views (better than what the best resorts could offer), independence, best location on the island, amazing friendly staff and above all a taste of paradise. Keith and his staff were amazing, friendly helpful, and accommodated our every need. They went above and beyond our expectations. If you are to stay here you will be pleased know you are getting more than a place to rest you are getting a complete package of full service, with everything you could possibly ask for from the Keith and his team. My family and I stayed here for over 2 weeks and wish we arranged longer, we had the opportunity to experience most of what the island could offer revisit the best parts. In all honesty the best of the island is all within a stone throw of this villa, the best beach, town, walks, views and adventure all a short drive away. It is a gem of a place and one we will intend to visit again and again. Finally we want to say that we have traveled a lot and use AirBnB where ever we go and this place is by far the best we have discovered. Many thanks Keith to you and your team first class!

  • LOVED THE PLACE!!! We unfortunately had to leave St. Lucia early due to the events of the corona virus, but I was super happy to be in St. Lucia and at this house. Wishel was amazing at being attentive and the place was spotless and comfortable ♥️

  • We enjoyed this house . It was very spacious and clean with a very large kitchen large master bedroom and two bathrooms. Lots of Windows to catch the breeze. We felt very safe .. the pictures that are posted are exactly what the house is..

  • I had a lovely time staying at this house in the peaceful town of Canaries. The place is really big with plenty of space and was nice and clean. Plenty of kitchen appliances and everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was quite hot and humid in the evenings and there can be no breeze but there is a fan you can use for sleeping. The location is good within short walking distance of Canaries and a short drive to nearby Soufriere. I highly recommend hiring a car to get around.

    Cindy2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • The place was wonderful and Wishtone was an amazing host. He gave us travel tips and shared some local food with my family.

  • Staying a month in St Lucia, we gambled and chose this, and oh, how glad we did. Airy, spacious ,with truly all you will need to make a home to explore all this amazing Island offers,, anything else, we required, arrived 'magically' wether a cafetiere or an implement to open the numerous coconuts around. Very comfy bed too! Built into the side of a hill the apartment, with a super balcony, which indeed from the corner you can spy the sea, is surrounded by lush trees & plants creating shade and interest. All day and night we were serenaded by nature, the cuckoo's/humming birds/ever present cheeky grackles & at night tree frogs and crickets kept us company. Over festive period the village parties hard and loud which we nearly became accustomed to, however after that the last two weeks were blissfully peaceful. We hired a car, so needed, fromJackson who looked after us brilliantly, meeting us/being on hand etc throughout months stay (local small company just ask owner for details). Staying here we stepped outside our comfort zone at times, but it was so very worth it. Fantastic opportunity, will come again.

  • We truly loved our stay at Chez Salam. Pastor was an excellent Host, and it was so nice to see his warm and welcoming smile every day. We got to experience so many local things that we would have not known about if we had not stayed: Soursop, the sour oranges, the fresh cinnamon — all available on the property. If there was anything we needed, it was provided quickly and with a smile. We loved sitting on the balcony and listening to the orchestra of sounds — birds, frogs, and more. We will definitely recommend this gem to anyone travelling to St Lucia.

  • At Pastor's place you can expect a very warm welcome to a home away from home. The security of knowing that you're safe whilst there and the caring and attention to detail from the co host David, made sure that all went smoothly. Canaries village is short walk away. If you want night life hire a vehicle as local transport stops fairly early. It's a wonderful retreat

Tucked away in the exclusive Anse Chastanet / Jade Mountain area of Soufriere, La Batterie villa offers complete privacy. You will find your escape at this luxury villa surrounded by lush gardens, a tropical swimming pool with accompanying cabana, lily pond and spacious decks. Located 300 feet above the Caribbean Sea facing the infamous Pitons there is no shortage of breathtaking views, cool island breezes and awe. Moving inside, the villa is constructed of native stone along with teak and mahogany woods. Built in traditional Caribbean construction, the house has louvered plantation style doors that open to take full advantage of its abundant natural and tropical landscape. The house has three bedrooms each with king sized beds and ensuite washroom to allow guests maximum privacy and can comfortably sleep a group of six. Each bedroom has its own lounging patio along with wardrobe closets. The master bedroom overlooks the Caribbean Sea while the two other bedrooms overlook the villa gardens. The rooms can be made with single beds if requested in advance. Additionally, the villa has a loft over the living room that can be used to sleep two however we would recommend that they be in their teenage years to allow maximum comfort. In addition to the three bedrooms, the house provides areas for group gathering and entertainment such as the elegant terra cotta living and dining rooms which face the sea. The living room opens up to a 40 foot open teak deck that highlights the beauty of the Pitons where guests can enjoy the breeze while watching the boats pass by. The dining room offers a table that seats a party of six and is a great spot for enjoying amazing Caribbean dinners that can be requested through the house cook, Stephanie, for a nominal fee. For a change of scenery, breakfast can be enjoyed down by the cabana where a table setting allows you to ease into your day while listening to the waterfall hit the pool. Words could never properly prepare you for the beauty that is Saint Lucia – come experience La Batterie and elevate your vacation to the next level!
Are you looking to escape the duties of everyday life by seeing first hand some of the most beautiful backdrops the Caribbean has to offer? If so, then St Lucia is for you. Boasting the infamous Pitons, St Lucia affords visitors a World Heritage site with an abundance of sunny skies, calm waters and welcoming people. Soufriere, situated on the Caribbean Sea, is the ideal spot for a visit to St Lucia. Historically a fishing village Soufriere offers guests local flair with the previously mentioned Pitons almost always in sight. Nestled between beautiful beaches Soufriere exceeds expectations with options for everyone - from visiting the local daily fish and vegetable markets and adventure in the form of hiking and zip lining to truly unplugging and enjoying a quiet book in the privacy of your own villa. No matter what you choose your visit to Soufriere St Lucia will be nothing short of memorable.
  • Where do I ever begin... If you have any interest in staying at La Batterie, book it immediately! The pictures do not even begin to do the villa justice. We spent Christmas in Saint Lucia this year and it was a trip we will NEVER forget. To start with, Micheal was such a responsive and accommodating host. He answered all of our questions extremely quickly and with the utmost respect. On top of the incredible view, the staff at the La Batterie are some of the most incredible people you will ever meet! Stephanie made us some of the best meals we have ever eaten and overall just made sure that we had everything we needed on our trip. Terry took us on a hike of the tropical rainforest and also took us fishing, which was incredible. BK made sure we were safe each night, and I have to say, it was so comforting just knowing he was there. Marilyn made sure that the villa was spotless everyday, and for that I cannot thank her enough. And then there is Clavie... you will never meet a better tour guide/ dependable driver and all around great guy. We opted to use Clavie over renting a car, and that was by far one of the best decisions we made on the trip. Overall, the experience would not have been the same without each and everyone of them and we were so blessed just to have the opportunity to meet them. In regards to activities and dining, we went to the Sulfur Springs, the botanical gardens with the mineral baths, we did a mystic man sailboat sunset cruise and hiked the Tet Paul nature trail, all of which were incredible. The mud baths at the sulfur springs was so refreshing and relaxing on our first day. If I could recommend any activity it would be the sunset cruise we did with Mystic Man. They were very accommodating and we ended up getting a private half day trip with snorkeling and the sunset on Christmas Eve, for a very affordable price. We ate at Dasheene at the Ladera Resort I highly recommend it. Not only was the food incredible, but the view between the pitons was also unbeatable. We went right at sunset and had drinks while watching the sunset before dinner. We also ate next door at Caille Blanc and we also really enjoyed that. It was super convenient that it was right next door, but also had a very intimate vibe because the resort itself only has 6 suites. You cannot beat Stephanie’s cooking though, and the nights we got to stay in were some of our best. The beaches down at Anse Chastanet were beautiful, however, like others have said, it is a trek to get back up the hill. Overall, if you are looking to relax at the pool and read a good book, take a nap in the hammocks while overlooking the garden and Pitons, eat amazing food, try new adventures or just spend time with family and friends, La Batterie is the place for you. This is by far the most incredible place we have ever visited and I cannot wait to go back soon. Enjoy!

  • The staff were friendly and professional. They always went the extra mile to make us feel at home. The breakfast and lunch were a bonus for us since we decided to try the local cuisine as opposed to cooking ourselves. Oh how we miss Stephanie’s cooking …yum yum. Every room had a special touch with a large comfy bed. We miss the sunset on the balcony and the tiny birds who flew by while we relaxed in the hammock looking out at the Pitons. The villa is close to most of the attractions on the island. We visited all of them with our local guide recommended by the staff at the villa. We didn't have to rush like other visitors who were hurried through the tours at any of the local attractions which made us enjoy our stay even more. Great views and memories to last a life time. We only wished we stayed longer.

  • My wife and I came here for the first stop on our honeymoon. She did not know what country I was taking her to, so when we were being shown around La Batterie, she was totally blown away (as was I). We did a ton of exploring while on the island, and while there were perspectives that offered more breadth of view (Gros Piton peak, Morne Tabac Rain Forest Trail, and the Tet Paul Trail to name a few), none of them offered a view so picturesque as La Batterie. The grounds were immaculate, but know that it is an open air environment, and you will see lizards, birds, small frogs, and other little critters in and out of the home. This goes for 90%+ of the AirBnBs on the island (3/3 of the ones we stayed in). We loved their company, and we saw no "scary' critters like spiders, snakes, or rodents. The birds and lizards loved fighting over little bits of bananas we left on the rail of the balcony. The master bedroom was gorgeous, and the experience of opening the doors to view the Soufriere Bay is unbeatable. I told my wife we would probably never top this. The pool is fantastic. We preferred hanging out in the private pool to snorkeling in Anse Chastanet just a short drive down the street that La Batterie is on. We highly recommend getting out and exploring the island. Ask the gardener, Terry, about the rainforest tour! Other favorite activities on the island included the Diamond Botanical Garden, hiking Gros Piton, the Tet Paul trail, La Maison Creole (just outside Choiseul), Asa's Morne Tabac Nature Trail (instead of turning off the main road at the Hummingbird resort, continue along the main road for a couple miles, it will be on the right hand side on a left hand bend). Since we were AirBnB hopping and exploring the island, we got a rental car. It was a Suzuki Jimny from SIXT. We were pretty happy with them as a rental company, but there may be better options/pricing. We put about 600km on the Jimny over the course of 10 days and enjoyed every bit of that little car. We used the 4WD several times when going off the main road. I am very glad we booked La Batterie for our first stop on our honeymoon. It was a great place for two for a special occasion, and we feel that La Batterie would be insanely good value if the cost was split between 2-3 couples or families. La Batterie was obviously a bit overkill for a couple, but was perfect for our first three nights. Had we stayed there longer, it may have felt a little excessive (but we're also very easy to please). We ended up staying at the Treehouse Hideaway Villa I the last three nights, which turns out is just across the street from La Batterie, which only has one bedroom and is a bit more suitable for a couple. This was great because we already knew Terry and BK (the night guard) from La Batterie, so we would chat with them often. Terry graciously brought us fresh grapefruit from his own personal garden. We are very glad we did both, as they served different purposes. Despite being so close, La Batterie has the better view hands down, and more amenities like the awesome private pool. We loved our stay at La Batterie, and we will never forget the time we spent there. Big thanks to the entire staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

  • We had a wonderful stay at La Batterie! The villa has the most incredible view of the pitons. The beds are comfortable, the private pool is nestled in greenery. I highly recommend staying here. We had Stefanie cook for us 5/6 nights there and it was delicious! It’s also a close walk (15 minutes with a pretty steep hill but everything here in St Lucia is hilly) to anse chastanet beach where we dove each morning with Scuba St Lucia.

  • This villa is a really magical place, especially if you want to be close to nature. Lovely house, really amazing views, a beautiful garden with lots of wildlife and a manageable walk down to 2 lovely beaches.

    Joanna2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place is somehow even better than the pictures. My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon and all we have to say is, WOW. To start - Mike (the host) was so easy to work with and responded so quickly with any questions or concerns we had. He is an incredible host and we were lucky to have him for such an important/memorable trip. Take his recommendations - you will not be disappointed! The Villa - Absolutely stunning view of the Pitons. My wife and I literally did not want to leave the back deck that overlooks the two Pitons because we were in absolute awe with the view. The view was something you would see on a computer background and somehow you live it when your there. This villa is a MUST STAY when you visit St. Lucia. Staff - When we first arrived we had a welcome bowl of fruit and some Chairmans Reserve Rum which is a local St Lucia rum that was DELICIOUS. Have Stephanie make her rum punch, it will not disappoint! Stephanie - super good cook and very helpful throughout the week. We had her do two grocery store runs for us grabbing last-minute food items and other items for breakfast and dinner she made for us. She went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. BB - was incredibly nice and would organize our room/bathroom so nicely and it was a great thing to come back to later in the day. Hearing her personal stories were a nice touch! Terry (gardner) - we went on the rainforest hike with him where he showed us many different types of plants and tried various types of local fruit found on the island. We stopped by a local farm with him and grabbed some fresh vegetables as well! We really enjoyed our time with Terry - he was so nice! BK (night watchman) - Another incredibly nice person and went out of his way to make sure we were okay after hours. Clavie (driver) - Clavie was always on call whenever we needed him and he had awesome recommendations of places to go and places to maybe avoid. We used him alot during our trip and made the trips very enjoyable! Overall - stay at this home! You will not be disappointed whatsoever. For the price, you get a better view than all of the resorts for more than 1/4 of the price! From the incredible views, to the staff, and to the host - this is a complete GEM! We will definitely be visiting again!

    Andrew2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • La Batterie has one of the most amazing views we have ever experienced! The house is big and open, feeling like its part of nature, sitting on what feels like an acre or more of land to explore. There is plenty of space for a big group to enjoy each other's company, inside and out, especially on the deck and by the pool. Each bedroom is large with plenty of closet space and updated bathrooms. The house is also quite secure with keyed locks on every door. It is also packed with all sorts of accessories including pool toys, games, speakers, bug spray, sunscreen and tons of other goodies. The house is on the side of a mountain in the jungle, with a big drop down of the balcony overlooking the pitons. Being in the jungle, there are all sorts of critters and sounds that made it feel very exotic, which was a fun and unique experience. The staff was amazing and friendly, letting you know that they were there but still offering lots of privacy. Stephanie is a great cook, especially the beef roti and curry chicken with coconut rice, while Bibi and Marylin kept the house looking great every day. Terry does a great job caring for the jungle-like outdoor area with what feels like thousands of plants. BK was great as well, being very helpful when we had any issues after hours. Clavie was an excellent driver and tour guide, sharing lots of local knowledge and recommendations. Host Michael was very responsive, the quickest responding host we have engaged with on AirBnb. He gave us so many suggestions and was amazing to work with. The walk to the beach is quite steep, so comfortable shoes would be recommended. Also, plan and pack for the day (lunch, drinks, etc) so you don't have to make multiple trips. The house has multiple coolers, but we brought one with us. The beach at Anse Chastanet is nice, private, but there is a charge to use any of their beach chairs or sea activity gear. The uphill walk back can get warm, but it makes a dip in the pool upon arrival feel that much better! For dinner, we would highly recommend Dasheene at Ladera. We would also recommend a sunset cruise from Soufriere to meet other tourists in the area.

    Justin2019-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • There are few words that could describe the beauty of La Batterie. The views are a thousand times better in person and pictures can't even do it justice. We chose this villa due specifically for the views and the location to the best snorkeling spots on the island; however, the staff (especially Terry and Clavie) made the experience truly special. I highly recommend utilizing Terry and his knowledge of hiking to explore the island. We did the Mt Gimie hike( don't recommend if you are not an experienced hiker as about 80% of this hike requires the use of all 4 limbs. We did this with Terry and Stephanie's uncle and the hike was absolutely terrible but worth it. This was the hardest hike we've ever done, but is such an incredible achievement once completed. We ate at Orlando's for dinner on night 3 of our stay and food was Superior to anything else. Also highly recommend Anse Mamen for lunch as they have the best hamburger in the entire world (not kidding). We also rented a private snorkeling charter for 7 hours with sugar boat charters and thoroughly enjoyed our time with Captain Mario and Ted snorkeling the different islands. Located about 8 minutes walk from the villa is Anse Chastanet which has great snorkeling. We also snorkeled at the Devil's Hole (ask Terry or Clavie how to get there it is about 3 minutes before Anse Chastanet). Overall, this was the best vacation we've ever been on and we plan on making La Batterie a yearly vacation!

  • We cannot praise Ti Kaye resort enough. Many things made for a great vacation including the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the facility, delicious food options, quiet peaceful atmosphere, beautiful beach with complimentary kayaks and paddle boards... the list could go on. I loved that it was rustic yet VERY nice. Also, with so many excursion options offered by the resort, we were never bored! We would recommend this fabulous adults-only resort to EVERYONE!

  • If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful place to relax and enjoy St Lucia Ti Kaye is a perfect spot. I will highlight absolutely amazing location, beach is pretty much empty and even there are other guests on the beach it's never crowded. You can enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkeling without a need to leave the resort. They also offer a variety of tours around St Lucia, I went on a half day snorkeling trip to Pitons which basically covered 2 things that I really wanted to do while in St Lucia - see the Pitons and snorkel :) The staff is absolutely amazing, very friendly and always ready to help. I had a little accident when I hurt my foot and everyone was extremely helpful and attentive, really appreciate that! If I am ever back to Caribbean I would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

  • This is an outstanding resort - the service is great - the food is delicious - and the beach is wonderful. It is a bit remote - not too far from neighboring towns but a long bumpy road in and out. They offer a bunch of excursion tours if you want to get off the resort but since our stay was so short (4 days) we only did a quick Sunset tour which was wonderful! You will not regret staying here!

    Alexandra2019-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great deal for a couples getaway. Everything was perfect. The outdoor shower was amazing and the space felt private. The food had a local twist to it. We met the chef, snd he said "simple but flavorful" is his thing. He did a great job!

A great two bed apartment at the centre of St Lucia best attractions. The apartment offers great access to the beach and local attractions. The apartment is perfect for couples, single travellers, business travellers, and families.
  • Had a great stay at “great stay”! So close to main things to do in soufriere (within 15 min drive). If you hire a car then you can park it here too (I recommend hiring one). Gilda (Teddy’s Mother) was so so helpful in helping us to get a car and super friendly. The apartment was clean, well decorated with a beautiful view from the balcony. Would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.

    Liza2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I were visiting St. Lucia for a week and this was the perfect affordable stay! We loved drinking our morning coffee with the view of the petit piton. Nights were quiet and cozy. The house is close enough to Soufriere restaurants and supermarket (5 mins drive), 20 minutes from Anse Chastanet (where we did lots of scuba diving), 15-30 minutes from the pitons and other touristy locations (waterfalls, the diamond botanical garden, drive in volcano, rainforest, and other hikes). Very convenient location!! You can also walk to Soufriere, but we had a car so we preferred to use it. Guilda was a lovely host. Gave us good advice and recommendations and was responsive to my WhatsApp messages. I would highly recommend this if you are coming to St. Lucia and looking for a more local but safe experience.

    Amanda2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Clean accommodation, rather well located for visiting the south of the island, Glyda gave us a very warm welcome. Good value for money . The only small downside: slightly small balcony to enjoy the outdoors.

  • Friendly apartment in a beautiful, quiet location. Nice view from the balcony to the valley of Soufriere.

  • Great place and well equipped, situated close to Soufriere. Gas station and restaurants within 3 minutes drive (asphalt road not the usual rural with bumps and holes). Lovely view from the balcony and from the bedroom. Good place for trips to Pitons, nearby beaches and Sulphur springs. Recommend!

  • We are so glad we booked Great Stay for our short time in St Lucia. Gilda was lovely and provided us with a number of suggestions for things to do around the area. Teddy also recommended booking with St Rose Auto Rental Services, which made getting around in town much easier than relying on taxis. If you plan on exploring the surrounding area or visiting local beaches, renting a car is necessary. The listing was accurate, and we loved spending our mornings and evenings on the balcony.

Villa Atabeyra is the epitome of a Caribbean hillside escape. The property overlooks the calm Caribbean sea with St Lucia's iconic Piton mountains within view. The villa features a pool and blends seamlessly with the flora of it's quiet surroundings. Soak in the stunning scenery that is St Lucia's west coast. The villa has one of the best and most coveted views of properties on the island, all the while providing a truly St Lucian feel on the inside and out with the necessities of home.
  • This was out second visit to Villa Atabeyra and it was just as magical if not better the second time!

  • Like all the others have said: this place is really special. The views are spectacular, the space is clean and stocked with thoughtful supplies. The road up to the house takes a couple trips to adjust to, but quickly becomes part of the routine. The payoff is amazing, nearly 360 degree view of the Pitons and ocean. The connection to the Anse Chastanet resort is great: complete access to the beach and amenities, along with a super helpful group of concierge services (for help with travel, reservations etc).

    Christian2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Access to the guest area of the beach at Anse Chastanet is incredible. If you stay in another Airbnb in the the area you'll have to go to a small crowded beach. Highest villa on the hill with incredible view of the Pitons and the Sea. If you stop off at the grocery store on the way up grab a bunch of big bottles of water. Villa has rain waiter (which is fine for teeth brushing, showering, etc) but you'll need drinking water.

  • We had a very enjoyable honeymoon and loved our first st Lucia experience at this villa..what more could you ask for... beautiful pool, villa with a view of the pitons, super friendly staff and locals ... We had a great trip overall. You won't be disappointed !

    Rachele2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • We just got back from 10 fantastic days at Villa Atabeyra. What can you say when something was perfect? The view is simply stunning. You want to get back to the house to just sit in one of the many comfortable spots and either gaze on the spectacular Pitons (Petit and Grand) from the poolside or sit on the rocking chairs that face the ocean and watch both the yachts pass by and sail boat race. I think we all took pictures of the views several times a day, you just can't stop. In the evening you can still see the outline of the Pitons in the dark, and an endless starry sky, with boats and stars disappearing on the horizon. The house is equipped like a real home with everything you need to cook and be at home. There is amazing coffee and tea provided and a full spice shelf free to use. Bathrooms have high quality toiletries as well. Not to spoil any surprises but Charlene leaves other treats for you as well, making it even better than it already is. The furniture is comfortable and great for hanging out. The relationship with the local resort made each day so easy, we just had to make the short drive over and get out hut on the beach and relax and enjoy all the snorkeling and activities. We took a day trip with "Simon Says", a local guide, who also organized for my 15 year old and my husband to climb Petit Piton (not for the faint of heart, they gave it a 10/10 for difficulty). This area of Saint Lucia is a rainforest and this makes it feel so unique. The house is well set up with every bedroom facing the views, and at night the wind blows through the house keeping it airly and cool. The wifi was really good, best we have had on a trip, and the TV and sound system were also very good. My whole family says this is the best trip we have had, best house, best views, and best location. And yes, the road up is bumpy - take it slow - but you can't get a view like that from lower down. We were all sad to come home. I wish I could give it 10 stars!!

    Dess2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Wow what an amazing air bnb!!! It truly has it all. You cannot get better views of the Pitons. The pool is amazing and the house is clean with everything you could ever need! We appreciated the whole team that took care of us while we were there. Charlene and Jonathan were great with communication before and during! We even got locked out from the wind one day and they were on it!!! (Sorry) Thank you to our guard at night and our house keeper that kept everything tidy! More about our trip: We stopped for groceries and lunch (KFC) by the airport when we arrived. From there the drive is pretty straight forward around the island. (Note: You drive on the left side of the road and you have to pay around $25 cash for a drivers permit at the rental company). Jonathan met us at the bottom of the hill for check in and took us up to the villa. NOTE!!! The drive is a little rough at first, but once you do it a few times you will be a pro! With that being said make sure you rent a car with 4 wheel drive to make it easier on the nerves. :) One of the best things about this villa is that you have access to Jade Mountain for dinner, massages, drinks on the beach, snorkeling, kayaking etc. It was a fun change to go explore the hotel and their beach. Thank you Charlene for setting up our reservations there!!! I also highly recommend the Tet Paul nature trail (bring cash/card) and then grab lunch at Dasheene at the Ladera Resort. The views are insane. I also recommend the jungle grill which is on the beach down at Jade mountian. We also drove to the Toraille waterfall (bring cash - everything cost $ to enter) and it's AMAZING. If you wait for the tour vans to leave you will then have the waterfall and pool all to yourself!!! It's breath taking. All in all it was a beautiful trip! We stayed 5 nights and that was perfect to explore and relax. :) My hubby appreciated the fans provided since there is no AC. Usually there was a nice breeze on the hill and at night it cooled down. I LOVED the little tastes of St. Lucia they provided in the villa with the coffee, beers, waters, and even some rum. So sweet! Also NOTE: The plugs are European I believe. They did provide a strip for US plugs, but just note to bring adapters if needed! Thank you again for having us Villa Atabeyra ! We had a great vacay and experience.

  • Superb!

    Cindy2019-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • The (previous) reviews don’t lie- There’s just no way to be disappointed by Villa Atabeyra. The view was of course outstanding, but there were so many incredibly thoughtful touches that we didn’t expect. Everyone who we interacted with, both there and at Anse Chastanet, exceeded all hosting expectations. Don’t let the drive scare you - it’s worth it! Take Charlene up on the offer to meet you in Soufiere and show you the way to the house. We spent most of our daylight hours at Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin beaches. Having the amenities of the resort at our disposal was fabulous. We wouldn’t have splurged for them more than once if they hadn’t been included with the rental. There are two grocery stores in Soufiere and a number of street vendors. There is a larger grocery store in Viex Fort, not far from the airport. Either way, it would be hard to go hungry. Our stay at Atabeyra won’t be soon forgotten. We highly recommend it.

The ac works very well and the local dining and markets were a short walk. We could not be happier with where we chose to stay.

  • We were treated like royalty at Royal escape. There were many amazing touches, from the groceries in the fridge when we arrived, the sweet wine and chocolates by the bath, the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice brought to us during our stay, the cheesecake that awaited us on our last morning. Pat was a perfect host, did not disturb our privacy, but was available when we needed help. Pat arranged for drivers for us when we needed them, and cheerfully gave us instructions on how to use public transport when we chose to do that instead. She also picked us up one evening from our restaurant, and drove us to the local fish fry and picked us up afterwards. We would highly recommend Royal Escape for your St. Lucia holiday.

Like no other. This apartment is designed for a relaxing and tranquil vacation. You will be close to nature while at the same time enjoying the luxury of the great outdoors. A very scenic and relaxing infinity edged swim up pool awaits you. A number of beaches are just a short drive away from the apartment while access to the Soufriere sites are just 30 to 40 minutes drive along the west coast where you are located.
At the Haven you will share in the peace and quiet of the sweet escape. Enjoy a swim in the pool or just relax in the open terrace near the bar. The outdoor hammock will help you enjoy the whistle of the wind while you read a book or just take in the breath taking views before you.
The area is a residential area hidden in the hills overlooking the Roseau valley and Beach. You get to escape the heavy traffic which is normally to the North of the island and enjoy the easy ride down the west coast from the airport.
  • This is my daughters and I second stay at Adela's place. I can't say enough about the location and the amenities. The infinity pool is to die for! We absolutely love spending time in the pool. Being that this is an actual bed and breakfast, the food in the morning helps get your day started w/o the hassle of going out and finding something to eat in the morning. It's an excellent way to get your day started. Adela assists guest by suggesting local restaurants which help save you a lot of money and allow you to sample local cuisine at a reasonable price (as prices in Rodney Bay are a little high). This place is roomy and convenient and clean. Wi-Fi works good, television works and includes cable channels, and the kitchen is fully stocked for all of your needs. Adela or her husband is always available if you have any questions or concerns (we had none). If you want to come to paradise and stay at a place that reflects that paradise, this is the place, bar none. The views from the pool are million dollar views and you will truly appreciate it, if you like to take pics, as I do. Give her place a visit, you will not be sorry!!!

    Brian2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Okay, the road to their house is steep but during our visit many of the pot holes were fixed. So it is much better now than when we arrived. We loved our stay. Being on top of the hill offers a great view. The pool is wonderful. The bed so comfy with tons of room in both the bedroom and the bathroom. The family was very friendly and Adela had great tips for us about all kinds of things. This place is a gem at a great price if you have your own vehicle.

    Douglas2019-03-28T00:00:00Z
  • Adela is a wonderful host and we enjoyed our time at her BnB. We loved the pool area which is even better than it looks in the photos. My kids made fast friends with Adela’s and played basketball and table tennis. I was happy. Adela’s breakfast was delicious and arrived early, making it easy for us to eat and get out and explore the island. The road to get to her home is rough. We drove on a lot of rough roads during that week in St. Lucia but those were some of the most difficult. Wi-Fi was good which we needed because my husband is taking online classes and needed to do work. We did a day trip to Reduit Beach and had a great time.

    Alana2019-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I had a great time at Adela’s home! I want to note that it was actually two rooms....bedroom with a bathroom (extra large) and living room connected to kitchen...this is much bigger than I expected! Breakfast was fantastic and a great way to start the day. It was great coming home each evening and getting to swim in the pool with the most beautiful view. Definitely worth staying here!

    Chris2019-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • You can’t beat that view from the pool for the price. The host is very nice and helpful with any of our requests. Perfect place to stay if you want to experience the culture St. Lucia has to offer and not get wrapped up with the tourist side of things. You will need a small suv or truck to access this place, the hills up to the house are very steep and potholes like you’ve never seen. If you take it slow you will make it no worries.

    Robby2019-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Adela gave us a warm greeting right from the get go! We arrived at night and were extremely pleased at what we saw in the morning! A beautiful breakfast provided, and an amazing view from the pool overlooking the island. The wifi was available as advertised but is definitely strongest by the pool! Adela answered our many questions on where to eat and what to see, and we weren’t disappointed with her recommendations. There are quite a few great local eats not too far away in Anse La Raye: Benny’s Tropical Place (burgees, fries and repel food), Valelse (burgers and fries) and Albi’s (awesome creole food for a fantastic price! We shared one massive meal to go!). Adela can also recommend you local people for a boat tour and vehicle rental if need be. The main roads are beautiful but some side streets or roads to get to beaches & attractions, can get bad/bumpy. A vehicle is definitely needed while staying on this island/at the Travelers Haven! We definitely recommend an SUV over a car. We always made an adventure out of it, but we’re thankful for the SUV clearance! A good offline map to download in the App Store is “maps.me”. ! Many restaurants and attractions are shown on the map! If you find something that isn’t on the map, just add it so other map users can see as well! It makes finding everything WAY easier than on a paper map! Overall, we loved our experience at the Travellers Haven! Hopefully one day our paths will cross again on this beautiful island!

  • Staying at Adela's is a great choice. The place is absolutely beautiful and calm. The family is really friendly and always willing to help with everything. Adela went out of her way for us a couple of times and we really, really appreciated it. If you want to do things on the Island like renting a car or doing a boat tour, be sure to check with the family first, they will know better stuff than the touristy traps. The breakfast was always so delicious and a wonderful way to start into the morning. The pool was a great place for cooling off on a hot and sunny day, and the bed was super comfortable to sleep in. We would definitely book with Adela and her family again! :)

    Chili & Yves2019-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • the stay was really nice! Adela's welcome and kindness are truly authentic. Access by car is not easy and you have to rent a car if you want to visit the island. The house and the pool are really beautiful and very relaxing. We had a great time ! The island tour is easily done by car and the beach « anse cochon » is not far (20 min by car) with sunbeds, cocktails and sunset! The house is very comfortable and we had a great stay.

  • It was great stay in an awesome setting approximately 2 miles from Marigot Bay. Although we rented a car for the week, I would suggest hiring a driver. The road is steep with many hairpin bends so we were always back before sunset. The villa is a 2 level structure. The rental is on the ground level and the hosts live on the second level. We enjoyed talking with them and they were available and happy to assist as needed. Dennis supplied us with lemons, limes, grapefruit, sweet/sour oranges, guavas, mangoes and passionfruit picked from the garden. The concern we had with plugging in electrics was quickly resolved by Kay. It is an amazingly private space with lots of floor to ceiling glass doors that open up to to the veranda and we spent most of our time sitting outside. We thoroughly enjoyed the large veranda overlooking the lush garden and ocean. We did not miss AC as ceiling fans and cross breeze kept us cool. The villa was fully stocked with items to make for a pleasant stay. Water, tea, coffee, sugar, butter, jam was in the fridge. The kitchen was well supplied with microwave, coffee maker, blender, gas stove, fridge and wine fridge. Beds were very comfortable with high quality linens and towels, new furniture and pleasant decor. It really felt like home and we would strongly recommend this property.

I really appreciated the small attentions that Sherman left for me in the house as well as his hospitality. The house is ideally situated in Soufriere, 5 min from the city center, 5 min to the beach. I definitely recommend this place and would be glad to return there.

  • Look no further and book this gem. We loved staying here, no hills to climb, no taxi to take to get down from the mountain and you are next to everything. Easy to find and very lovely host. Great amedities and little touches. Sherman really went out of his way for us. Bus station in 2min away and will save you a bundle as well as being green way to travel around. We attempted to climb Petit Piton -its for really fit and adventurous travellers, talking SAS ready its 2h almost vertical in hit&humid conditions and is walking distance with the guide host will be happy to arrange. Loved this home. Thank you for having us.

  • Very centrally located, the beautiful tropical plants make the cozy balcony invisible, the kitchen with the bar counter and the large TV is the perfect corner for breakfast.

  • Great little spot close to everything walking distance in soufriere town..new beach, restaurants, banks, markets & bars. If you’re looking to explore outside of town and hit up beaches and attraction I would rent a Jeep, as taxis are very expensive. The cottage is right in town so life is going on all around but there is some privacy on the front porch behind the fence and foliage planted. Sherman was great and cottage was equipped with all you need to cook & do laundry. Sherman was great- I would totally recommend him.

  • First of all, I want to thank Sherman for his fantastic hospitality! I always quickly received answers to all my questions and requests and was surrounded by his attention during my stay. The apartments are very comfortable. The house has everything that is necessary for living. The bed is very comfortable, the internet worked perfectly. The house is well located - all you need (shops, cafes or restaurants) are five minutes away. I want to recommend to everyone to contact Sherman!

  • I booked an overnight stay for my son and his girlfriend. They had a great time in Soufriere, Sapphire Falls & climbing the Gros Piton. They said that Sherman's apartment was perfect for their needs. Very close to all the places to visit in Soufriere, comfortable and clean. Thanks Sherman for making them very welcome.

  • Even before arrival, Sherman gave us many tips for sights. Check-in was totally uncomplicated. You get an entire apartment. It was lovingly prepared on arrival with lots of little flowers everywhere. It was clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Also you get some fruits and drinks for free in the fridge! Sherman is incredibly hospitable and helpful! We can absolutely recommend it.

  • Great place to stay in town, loads of room, and Sadia and her sister were both very friendly and helpful

    Sheila2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Sadia’s Place Is a typical home of the region. If you enjoy staying among the people who live in a particular area this is a great place to visit. The house was very clean, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything that we need and we love to cook. There is an herb garden that she shared. The neighbors are friendly. Sadia herself was helpful, kind and friendly. She fulfilled our every request. We had everything we needed for a comfortable long stay. Her location is close to town and just steps away from the Soufriere beach park with great snorkeling along the cliff and beautiful sunset views.

  • What a fantastic host! Great location and a lovely place, spacious and more than enough space and supplies for the two of us 😊 close to the beach and short walk to the town. Soufriere was our favourite place 😍 Wish we had stayed here for the rest of our holiday.

  • A perfectly located accommodation, to walk to all the amenities that offers Souffriere. The accommodation was very clean, the neighborhood safe, the responsiveness of Sadia perfect. Thank you again for your welcome.

  • excellent place. perfect value for money

    Simon2019-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great three nights in Soufriere at this place. It's a spacious, traditional home that's very clean and with everything you need. It's basic but very homely. There were really nice touches including beach towels, snorkles and a water cooler! There was also masses of cooking equipment. We went there with two young boys and there was lots of space - three big bedrooms, a big kitchen, a dining room and a big living room. there was also some secure outside space for playing at the end of the day. Soufriere is a really good location for lots of sights. We loved the Tet Paul Nature Trial (stunning views), the Diamond Botanic Gardens (lush plants and trees) and the 'drive in' volcano (weird and wonderful). In terms of beaches, our host recommended Anse Mamin and we went there twice because it was so perfect. The boys spent a long time splashing about in the warm sea. Soufriere is quite a big town with the pros and cons that come with that. It was quite noisy and there was some hassle (although perfectly good-natured), but there are also lots of good places to eat, a good supermarket, an ATM etc - and everyone was genuinely friendly. There weren't a huge number of other tourists staying there (people come in for the sights and leave) but we felt very safe and welcome and enjoyed the whole experience. This house is a perfect base to explore all the things on this part of the island.

  • Very nice place in the heart of town. Ease access to everything, relatively quiet neighborhood (particularly on weekdays), perfect for those who want to stay away from crowded tourist areas. I particularly liked the hospitality, the view, the atmosphere, and breakfast. I definitely recommend Augustin's place.

  • Petit Peak Haven was an amazing place to stay. It is literally placed on the waterfront in the middle of Soufriere, with views to the the harbour and the town. Augustin is so quick to reply, and the woman who greeted us had lots of good tips about where to go. Was a great little air conditioned haven in the middle of the realest town in St Lucia, would definitely recommend!

  • The views from the pictures speak for themselves. We stayed a week in St. Lucia and it was a fun filled trip full of adventures and relaxation all the same. Opting for the driver service throughout the trip is worth it 100%. Billy was much more than a driver, more like a tour guide and concierge service when needed. Doxie, the housekeeper is very pleasant and can make whatever local dishes you may be craving. John, the night watchmen was very friendly as we shared a few conversations about the local life. As for what we did for the week: Visited Viceroy Beach Resort via boat with Garfield for the day. Had breakfast and late lunch here. Well worth it! Visited Anse Chastenet and Jade Mountain Resort twice during the week. Enjoyed lunch at Trou Au Diable and dinner at Apsara. This only like a 10 minute drive and would do again. Took a half day boat tour with Mario/Ted (Sugar Boat Charters) all the way to Rodney Bay stopping at Port Seraphine, Marigot Bay, Rum Distillery and going on a hike on Pigeon Island. They are absolutely wonderful. On the last day, Billy took us to Tet Paul Nature Trail (great views and personal experiences from the tour guide), Sulphur Springs (awesome!!) and finished with a visit at the waterfalls. Would do again. This trip is absolutely wonderful. Loretta and Bill are very attentive and they provide you with a local cell phone as well in case you don't wish to use yours. Do yourself a favor and read everything Loretta emails you because the information was helpful.

  • Amazing property with a stunning view. Much larger than I thought it would be, lots of space in the home. The staff was fantastic and very attentive and helpful. We used the driver service, and would highly recommend it, Billy was an excellent driver for us. Couldn’t be more pleased that I selected this villa for our stay in St. Lucia.

  • Wow! We just had the most amazing stay in what I can only describe as paradise. If you are looking for a more private relaxed atmosphere but want the amenities of a resort this is the place for you. The villa is absolutely gorgeous and the views will take your breath away. One of the best things about staying here is Loretta being your host. She has done all the research for you and tells you everything you need to know. They house is stocked with anything you would need to relax and have a good time. She has a wonderful staff and puts you in contact with trusted locals to help your stay be everything you want. She is very quick to respond to questions you may have and has everything in place for you to have a great vacation. So if your looking for a beautiful villa with a great host. This is the place for you.

  • The Villa Grand Piton was the perfect secluded retreat in the middle of paradise. Pictures simply can not describe the beauty of this place. While relaxing by the private pool the Pitons feel like they are towering over you. Because the villa is so far off of the beaten path, we truly appreciated all of the amenities that Loretta's Villa had to offer. Loretta is truly a master of details, and she works hard to ease the burden of planning a vacation in a foreign country. She and her staff will make sure that you have everything you need to relax and take in the beauty of St. Lucia. When we return to St. Lucia, there is no place I would rather stay.

    Christopher2018-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a steep clime up by car. Enjoyed the beautiful view over the bay an the Pitons. Loretta prepares everything professional. She has a beautiful thought through house. The reality is even nicer than the pictures. We had a delicious meal by her care taker Jaqueline. She took very well care of our family. We can highly recommend to stay there if you are in St. Lucia.

  • My family and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Grand Piton. Loretta was a wonderful host; she was at our disposal for any questions in the lead up and throughout our stay. The staff was so delightful and took care of everything - we were so grateful! The location is picture perfect - quite possibly one of the nicest holidays I've ever been on, especially because every need was catered for. Thank you Loretta!

  • The view is worth the price of admission. Very close to the beaches, snorkeling, the Volcano, waterfalls and more....

    Michael2018-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I stayed at the Villa Grand Piton for our 35th anniversary and had a great time. The Villa was perfect and had one of the best views of the Pitons! The Villa is much larger than the pictures depict and so well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Loretta was so accommodating and even let us shift our stay when we missed our flight. She is an awesome host and is so easy to work with. Doxie was so pleasant to see almost every day and cooked for us 2 nights. The food she cooked was amazing, so we would definitely recommend having her cook for you. The welcome basket was great and had everything you need for the first couple of days. Normally we rent a car when we go somewhere but this time after reading the reviews, we decided to use the driver service for the week. Let me tell you, this is the way to go! No stress involved, don't have to worry about where to park or how to get there. Billy was our driver and he was very prompt and courteous and made us feel safe. He went above and beyond..... even going with us to the Mud Baths and the Waterfall taking pictures of us that we would otherwise never have had. With Neil and John on the property around the clock, we didn't even have to worry about locking the house up when we left for the day. You will have no regrets and can't go wrong staying at Villa Grand Piton!

Please tag us on Instagram via #brigandhill Access to 2 local beach’s included - one is at a hotel. Private, eco-friendly, Jungle " Bungalow" w/pool perfectly situated between all major destinations of the island while providing utmost privacy close to nature. ** Full staff included in the rate includes cook, maid, and caretaker. Food and alcohol NOT included.** ** IN-HOUSE CAR RENTAL AVAILABLE - See " GETTING AROUND " section for details. Best deal on the island.**
Brigand Hill has a main building with 3 bedrooms ( two queens and 1 twin set) as well as 3 full bathrooms--all with skylights-- a living room, outdoor dining room, two outdoor showers, a full wrap around deck overlooking the canopy and rainforest to the East, and the Caribbean Sea to the West. We have a separate " cabana" just off the pool that includes two more bedrooms ( one queen, one twin set) and another full bathroom with his and her sinks.
Brigand Hill sits on top of a large valley overlooking a former banana plantation ( you may never want to leave your hammock on the wrap around deck). To the East, you have the rugged mountains that help make St Lucia's landscape so dramatic - to the West, you have the Caribbean Sea and its crystal blue waters (visible from most parts of the house), as well as our private beach. The home is on the West Coast, just off the main road that travels between the north and south. There is very little development on the east coast - most, if not all, of the island's hotels and sightseeing areas are on the west coast and a quick drive from Brigand Hill. It is close to everything you'd want to do, while still affording you privacy and a sense of intimacy with the island. A local fishing village sits just north of the home about 5 minutes, and a popular hotel (Tikaye Resort) about 5 minutes south. The Pitons, in the town of Soufriere, along w/ the Sulphur Springs and the drive-in Volcano, about 30 minutes south. Deep-sea fishing charters 30 minutes north.
  • This is a unique experience. George, Britilla and Vera were all amazing. Though we didn't do much pre-planning, George took care of everything including being our guide and driver. Britilla made a beautiful gourmet meal every night for 9 people! Though it doesn't have A/C, we never missed it. No mosquitos, a great breeze and a nice cool swimming pool. Highly recommended.

    Sanjay2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We were three couples traveling with total 4 kids between 2-9 years of age. Brigand Hill was a wonderfully relaxing stay! Location was wonderful as off main tourist area, in the middle of West coast area, just off the main road enroute to beachs, pitons. Walkable to a local beach (5-10 min with little kids), but our favorite was Ti Kaye resort which is about a 10 minute drive. Also one hour to Sugar Beach, Pitons (all the kids made it to the top of Gros Piton!), 30-40 minutes to Marigot Bay and Castries. Roads are super twisty on the West coast and having George as our driver made it much much easier to get to everywhere. He also knows the places to stop by along the way for scenic views, cassava bread, groceries, etc. It's great to learn about the island from a local too. House was perfect for our three families. Had the couple with the 2 year old in the master above the living area and there are two wings each with a double room and a 2-twins room for families with the older kids. Patio is amazing with covered dining table seating all 10 of us where dinner was every night; as well as a pool the kids loved and lounge areas. The view of the jungle is beautiful. The crickets, frogs, birds and cows around are rather loud, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, but you definitely get used to the sounds of the jungle and I'm missing that to sleep now back home. Rooms were nice sized, with plenty of closet for storage, overhead fan and lots of screened windows for air flow. At least during our visit, it was nice and cool at night and no AC was not a problem. I was worried about mosquitos but really was not that bad. Bertilla who cooked our meals was so sweet and fantastic. She and George bought groceries and beer before we arrived and we restocked here and there. We had a few simple lunches at the house but most lunches were out. Ti Kaye has really good food on the beach. Dinners were very tasty with chicken, curries, plantains, grilled fish, even lobster. There is also a salad and a vegetable and was quite healthy. Also local starches/root veggies that we've never had before and was delicious. All the kids enjoyed the food too without any need for kids meals. Vera was so great in keeping the house clean and even doing our laundry. Having the wonderful staff really made this vacation special and relaxing, in taking a break from meal planning, cooking, looking up where to go, driving, shop, clean etc that we do at home. Gives more time and energy to swim and play! Michael and Lucas are also such responsive hosts who reply right away for any questions. Wifi was great at the property, although not in my room but we are not there to be online all the time! The villa is not super luxurious like a 5 star resort but that's part of the adventurous and home-like charm for independent travelers. More relaxing with the kids too. All the people make it even more enjoyable!

    Mengjing2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • The house is in an unbelievable setting and the staff made our stay spectacular! George helped us plan excursions and drive us around. Bertilla's cooking was out of this world. Vera kept the place spotless! Overall this was a top vacation and I would highly recommend. FYI - The house is very close to a beach resort that we were able to use when we didn't want lay around the pool.

    Philip2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • We truly enjoyed our stay at Brigand Hill. George was fantastic and an invaluable asset to our trip. Like all others, I recommend using George for your travel around the island. 15 minutes into the trip from the airport to the villa and you will understand. Bertilla provided us with some excellent dinners, and Vera made sure that we had everything we needed each morning, took care of our laundry needs and made sure everything was in place. All were very enjoyable to talk with and helpful with any requests. The scenery from the villa itself was amazing. I enjoyed coffee looking at the rugged terrain every morning and miss it still. There is a lot to see and learn in St. Lucia. We tried to squeeze in as much as possible into our 8 day trip, and it was still not enough. Brigand Hill offers you a different, more relaxed and tranquil vacation than what a resort would, and that's exactly what we wanted. Cheers to you Michael for providing such a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy and experience. I miss it already, and it's only been a couple of weeks...

    Nick2019-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Say YES to Brigand Hill. Right now. Our party was 10 total (5 couples) for six days - all visiting the Caribbean for the 1st time. George, the home caretaker, was the most amazing/informed driver and tour guide any of us have ever experienced. We gave him our checklist of “must do’s” and he refined it, drove us, and personally led us as a tour guide. Amazingly, he managed our group of 10 with skill, patience, and care. Bertillia fed us like kings and queens all nights but 2 (tell her what meats you like - and let her surprise you), and Vera kept our rooms and clothes clean during the entire trip. Bottom line - if you are visiting for the first time, you NEED the staff that Brigand Hill offers and it’s perfectly centralized location. We could not have appreciated it more. Now, about St. Lucia - it is very hot & humid (air conditioning is not common - there is none at Brigand Hill) and activities are spread far and wide on the island. For example, the airport is about an hour away from the property - and Castries is about 45-50 minutes away. Bring swimsuits, shorts, tank tops, water shoes (must) strong sunscreen, and not much else! We also brought small personal air coolers which were welcomed at night. Our group was large (10), so we were quite stuffed like sardines in the van - but having a personal driver to chauffeur you anyplace on the island was INVALUABLE. We strongly recommend NOT renting a car, and you will see why immediately. We also had plenty of cash on hand for tipping and entrance fees at all our activities. If you move around a lot, it will get expensive - quickly. We did the following which George personally arranged for us: sailing w/snorkeling at Sugar Beach, Castries shopping market, Bounty Rum Distillery tour & tasting, Botanical Gardens & Diamond Falls (no swimming), Sulphur Springs, 2 additional waterfalls (with swimming) & waking trails, lunch & snorkling at Ti Kaye Resort, Gros Islet Fish Fry (Friday nights only), dinner at Masala Bay, and a ton of other stops along the paths. St. Lucia is an unbelievable paradise. Only regret - having to leave.

    Rachel2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you so much for providing a vacation property that far exceded our expectations. George, Bertilla and Vera were amazing to socialize with and learn about the local culture and the traditions of St. Lucia from. We highly recommend staying at Brigand Hill compared to a resort simply because you get a truly personalized experience. The food was absolutely Amazing! You get to plan the meals for your entire stay (pretty much every night for dinner and most lunches too) and you also plan all of your favorite adventures as well. (from hiking the Pitons, soaking the mud baths in Soufriere, snorkling, boat tours, zip linning and more!) - We had the most amazing adventures and got to choose exactly what we wanted to do and at very reasonable rates. The house, the pool and the private beach were one of a kind. We got married at Ti Kaye Resort and they made it the most magical day! We couldn't have been happier choosing Brigand Hill. We hope to visit again soon.

  • Our group chose Brigand Hill largely because of the incredible reviews, and we were not disappointed. George is an amazing host/guide and went out of his way to make our stay an unforgettable one. And Bertilia serves up some of the best food you'll find on or off the island. We took advantage of George's driving (and guiding) services, and Brigand Hill was a perfect base for getting to know the island. We divided our time roughly between sampling the island's beaches and resorts (plus snorkeling) while also exploring some of the inland natural beauty such as Tet Paul, Diamond Hill Botanical Gardens, Millet Bird Sanctuary, Dennery waterfall, etc.

    Bret2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • From all of our group we can not say enough how much we enjoyed staying at Brigand Hill. Because of the caring staff our vacation was better than we could have imagined. Having George to show us around the island and make sure we were able to do all the activities we wanted to do. Whatever we asked for, all of our millions of questions George answered! Bertilla's meals were the best, amazing! We could not wait to see what she was making for lunches and dinners. Vera, always had the house so clean! We had our own personal resort!

  • Emma's place is conveniently located in the town of Soufriere. Its a 10 minute walk from town and close to many of the Island's main attractions. I was able to live and experience my time as a local and was embraced by the people in the neighborhood. I felt safe, especially as a female traveling solo. Theres a very nice restaurant right next door with great creole food at an amazing price! My stay was awesome. Thank you Emma.

    Khadijah2019-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Best place for your buck. Kitchen available for simple cooking and rooms are solid with a nice giant fan and high ceilings. There's a restaurant right by the place and Emma once did my laundry just for the asking! Downtown is a bit of a walk but you can hitch a ride or pay 1.5 EC for the bus ride to downtown if you're hardcore lazy like myself. 10/10.

Apartment Soleil is nestled in the screntric town of Soufriere. The apartment is a beautifully furnished retreat which offers guests an authentic St.Lucian holiday with a casual, homey atmosphere. It is 7 mins. walk to downtown and 2 mins from beach. The apartment has air condition in the main room, full kitchen, bathroom, living and dining room. Enjoy a drink in the balcony as you take in the amazing view of Peite Piton. I look forward to welcoming you. Also note we provide pickup service, tours and excursions. Also ask about our Car Rental deal. We also drop off and pickup rental at the airport/ferry.
We have a very quiet neighborhood. Residents are very friendly and always willing to assist.
  • We had a very good stay at Mora's. Very welcoming and responsive host. The accommodation is located a few meters from the center of Souffrieres. Very nice to be able to move on foot. The accommodation is well equipped (air conditioning in the room very significant). I recommend without hesitation.

  • What a gem.

  • 5 minute walk up the hill: past the green tree, do a right, then the yellow house,2nd floor - great location

    Jordan2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I stayed at Apartment Soleil and had a fantastic trip. The location is great - a very close walk down to the beach and to some restaurants and not a far walk into town to many more restaurants, grocery stores and shops. Mora was so helpful in helping us arrange everything while we were there and was SO quick to reply! The apartment was very clean and we felt safe for the duration of our trip. The only thing we could say was that the water wasn’t very hot but after a long day at the beach, we really didn’t mind! We recommend taking a water taxi to Sugar Beach and Anse Chastanet (Mora arranged it for us!) and we had a fantastic meal at Dasheene restaurant overlooking the Pitons at sunset! You won’t be disappointed staying at Mora’s place!

    Leah2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Stay was great! Mora was waiting for us with keys when arrived. Beautiful view from deck and walking distance to downtown. We loved it.

    Charlotte2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is a great deal. Soufriere is the place to stay. It is not as touristy and you don't get bothered as much. Mora is a great host. She always responds right away and she is willing to help you out with anything. Don't worry about setting up excursions before you get there. We did almost all of ours through Mora and it worked out great. Couple tips we figured out while there. Dogs and roosters are loud throughout the whole night (and I don't do well sleeping with earplugs which they provided), so we took the fan from the living room and put it in the bedroom next to the window at night and never heard them again. We spent a lot of time at the Hummingbird beach just down the hill. They will try to charge you $20 USD for two chairs and an umbrella. That is too much. You should be able to haggle with them. We loved the location though and enjoyed our time in Soufriere way more than Castries or Rodney Bay area.

    Kyle2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Mora’s place is modern clean and tastefully furnished. It is just steps from a good beach and great snorkeling along the cliff. It is an easy walk into town. Mora took excellent care of us bringing us the things that we needed that were extra and special. Definitely one of our best experiences with Airbnb.

    True2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Previous reviews have mentioned how perfect the location is and how welcoming Mora and her staff are. All we can do is agree. If you want independence to explore Soufriere at your leisure and cook for yourself and live much like you do at home, but still be almost on the beach and have all the conveniences of staying at a beachfront resort, this is the place to stay in Soufriere. The apartment has everything you need and great ambience, with its views of Petite Piton. And Mora is always ready to help with anything! Loved it. Ron and Heather.

Please see our main listing Petit Peak Haven - Blue Room on Waterfront to access all photos of all rooms while we try to update this listing for you. This Gold Room is fully air conditioned, features a Queen size Bed, Portable Crib, private bathroom, TV, small refrigerator, free WiFi and breakfast not forgetting a picturesque window view of the bay!
  • The rooms at Petit Peak are heritage kind of decor, large and located above the restaurant. The area is quiet so no problem sleeping and the fans and AC make it very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is great and being able to sit at the window while eating, with the amazing view of the bay and the many boats, is amazing. A great place to stay in Soufrier. Chris, Canada

    Chris2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first time in St. Lucia. I was there for my open water certification for diving. The room met my expectations and was exactly what I needed. I was not looking for a all-inclusive resort. This put me directly on the water and allow me to spend time with the locals. Noise was not a factor. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was asleep. I don’t tend to sleep in, I’m on vacation I want to experience as much as possible during my limited stay. The women downstairs the restaurant were very accommodating. The room was air-conditioned and was comfortable with an additional fan. I found the bed to be very comfortable. There was a refrigerator in the room. Save some money, stay here, spend it out on the town and in the restaurants.

    Matt2019-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • I would highly recommend this as a place to stay, very well situated, breakfast is amazing, and staff and management great at offering local tips and help organising taxis etc

    Zoe2019-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was clean and in a very nice place, that is Soufriere, which we have particularly appreciated. The breakfast was included and served in the restaurant downstairs: very good omelettes and kind service! I will suggest this place for anyone interested to visit Southern St. Lucia.

    Silvia2019-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Petit Peak Haven restaurant was the best place in town to hang out. I had to work one of the days I was there and they were happy for me to sit in the restaurant all day in front of my computer. I also got a wonderful recommendation for a taxi to take me back to Castres. I really enjoyed my time in Soufriere and would recommend it to anyone who likes to experience life as it is lived in Saint Lucia.

    Anne2019-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • Had a lovely stay in the Gold Room of Petite Peak. You can't beat the location and the included breakfast was an amazing and delicious perk. The restaurant staff was super friendly and check-in/out was the smoothest process I've had on island so far. The room is pretty basic, but there's AC, hot water and good wifi. If you are a light sleeper I'd recommend bringing earplugs - as it is a prime location it can get a little loud at night if there are activities going on near the waterfront. I would definitely stay here again.

    Sarah2019-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Good-sized room in downtown Soufriere. The Gold Room is one of 3 rooms above a restaurant which is the dominant business on that part of the waterfront. At dinner time, there are delicious kitchen smells in the upper hallway - though no smells in the room itself.

    Jim2019-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect spot, staff were friendly and helpful, the room was large and the shower was great. If you're a light sleeper, the A/C is a window unit and so pretty noisy plus the room isn't very dark - but with earplugs and sleepmask it was totally fine.

  • Janus has several properties in Soufriere. Check them out, all of them are legit. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed to do some cooking, internet, hot water and laundry. We were able to see one of his new properties and it is stunning. If your able book SABA, it's beautiful and has wonderful views of the Pitons. Janus also has a transportation network all over the island and we utilized this on our trip (not just in Soufriere). He is able to get a solid deal, with exactly what we want, better than what we would have been able to do on our own. He even arranged for us to take a water taxi to Castries with one phone call, while we were chatting with him out on the balcony. If you book with Janus, your getting more than just a place to stay.

    Marissa2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment was a highlight for us! Great location and an amazing view. We got to enjoy breakfast on the balcony each morning! Janus is an amazing host and very helpful! Highly recommend!!

  • We really enjoyed staying in Soufriere. It was close to many attractions and a short distance to local restaurants and beaches. It was such a beautiful sight to wake up in the morning and take in the view. We used their driver service and it was great, Jamal offered suggestions and was always so helpful, he definitely went above and beyond every time. Janus was great, he was quick in responding and answered any questions we had. We really appreciated the bread Janus had delivered to us as well. Would definitely recommend this place!

    Rebeca2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Loved Soufrière, loved St. Lucia. Janus added to the whole deal, great stuff.

    David2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great service, great views from your own patio, 2 tv's washing machine, comfy bed, adequate kitchen supplies, fully furnished

    Shirley2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • The property is superbly located in Soufriere. We stayed there as we wanted to cook sometimes and also have a nice place to hang-out and take in the view of the Pitons and Soufriere. For all of these it was great and when we wanted t go to the beach and the other local sights it was close to everything. The apartment is in a quiet area with lovely neighbours too. Janus helped us a lot with some questions that we had and is a very caring and generous host.

    Jon2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Janus's place is nice and clean, within walking distance to beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. Enjoyed the tour of Soufrière which he offers. Great place to stay!

    Yvonne2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Combine the location, price point, cleanliess with that incredible view and this is the place for you. Apartment has what you need for 2 people: large bathroom and bedroom, good size refrigerator for the area, and great wifi. There is a new washing machine in the unit with a clothes line in the unit parking space. The front balcony is a wonderful spot to have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine while watching the sunset at night. The neighbors are friendly and you'll enjoy the Mama dog who visits and Mr Kitty who loves napping on the balcony. The place is spotlessly clean and has what you need. Janus is extremely responsive, very personable and will have his folks drop off creole bread or fruit to check in on you during your stay. He offers transportation services, which we did not use as we had our own car, but cost wise and fun wise, his services are worth considering. The local beaches and Tet trail are a must. Lots to do in the area and folks are very helpful and warm. It's definitely worth the time and effort to move away from the resorts and get to experience this beautiful island. We would definitely return!

  • Lewis was a super host. He was always friendly and informative. He picked us up at the airport and also arranged onward transportation. The apartment was very clean with everything one would need . The best part was the view of the Pitons from the balcony.

    David2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Room with an AMAZING view. It's a bit of an adventure to get there, a long taxi ride from the airport and the last bit of road is pretty rough and steep but the view from the balcony makes it worthwhile. There are upper and lower levels at this property. I stayed in a huge one bedroom on the upper floor. Basically, there are 2 rooms - the large kitchen/dining area with a pull out sleeper sofa that could comfortably sleep 2 and the bedroom/bath/ balcony area, all comfortably furnished, clean and modern. You can lie in bed and wake up to the Piton mountains and beautiful harbor full of sailboats. I would bring earplugs though if you like to sleep with the sliding door open because the roosters start crowing pretty early. The bath was fine, had a huge walk in shower. Most people rent a car, but we opted for the 20 minute walk into town since it wasn't super hot, but the road is very steep and there are no sidewalks. It's doable, just need to pay attention to oncoming traffic. There's a nice outdoor restaurant called Mystique at the bottom of the hill (near the Hummingbird Resort). Lewis was always available and very responsive to the few requests we had. The TV had Netflix, that was nice. I could go on and on, but this is a great choice if you like a smaller laid back town (compared to Castries) with lots of things to do. Just walk down by the shore and you can find a water taxi to take you to some of the local beaches or a car taxi to visit the beautiful Botanical gardens.

    Paula2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures don’t do this place justice! The view was AMAZING! We practically sat out on the balcony as often as we could. Lewis was also so helpful and accommodating whenever we needed him. From arranging our airport pickup & drop off to even offering to take us to a local restaurant for dinner. This was a last minute trip for my birthday when our plans changed, so he made it worth it! Would definitely suggest staying here

  • Great apartment that's very new, clean and has a wonderful view from the balcony!

    Stephen2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • The view alone is worth every penny! The place was very clean and stylish and having the kitchen was a great plus because we like to cook.

    Jon2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Just the view is worth the price. Hearing the bustle of Soufrière waking up as we took our coffee in the morning made our vacation something unique. The place is brand new, sparkling clean, and Lewis is helpful and caring.

    Samuel2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful appartement in Soufrière. Just a 12 minutes uphill walk from town. Amazing views over the Pitons and the Soufriere valley. Very quiet at all times of the day, which is very nice in the evening, when there is loud music in town everywhere. Very well equipped kitchen. Wifi is working great. And laundry can be done by machine and dryer. A perfect place that I highly recommend.

New one bedroom one bath modern cottage located right in the heart of Soufriere. Only one minute walk to the supermarket. Walking distance to the banks, beach, restaurants and local food market. Ideally it is seven minutes drive from the world heritage site, the only drive in volcano The Sulphur Springs. For added comfort the cottage is equipped with an AC unit and ceiling fans. An outside rain shower gives you the option to shower under the moonlight or on a starry night.
Newly built the cottage is in the middle of the town of Soufriere but is privatley located. Walking distance to the essentials such as the supermarkets, banks, local food market, restaurants, beaches, church, hospital and police station. Easily accessible to most of the tourist attractions. The cottage is 475 square feet with one bedroom with a spacious en-suite bathroom, kitchenette, living room and outside rain shower. Powered by both 110 and 220 volts. Netflix and WiFi available. The cottage is equipped with a washing machine
  • Very welcoming and helpful host. Ideal location in Soufriere. Clean and well equipped accommodation!

  • Great apartment in the middle of Soufriere. Restaurants and beach are close by and Anse Mamin and Anse Chastanet beaches are just 30-45 minute walk. Alwin is a great host and gave a quick tour on the day of arrival showing us the restaurants, supermarkets and beach.

    Sander2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage, very conveniently located! Alwin was very helpful and responsive with any questions we might have.

    James2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation conforms to the photos, it is spacious, pleasant, clean and the bathroom spacious. Air conditioning is significant. Alwin is an attentive host, attentive. He is accommodating and takes the trouble to give you a quick tour of the city. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

  • Super great host, ALWAYS on time, will offer you a tour around and show you the local superstore, markets, restaurants etc. If you’re looking to do excursions I highly recommend you go through Alwin. Although the price of the excursion is just for the taxi drive not to enter any of the places.

    Sam2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time staying in Soufriere and the Cozy Cottage is in the perfect location! It’s about two blocks from the main pier and the police station. Although it’s close to everything in town, the cottage itself is safely tucked away from the street so you don’t hear any noise. Additional pluses are: gate with padlock for added security; A/C unit is powerful yet quiet; plenty of room for two people, which consists of a huge bedroom & huge en-suite bathroom; very clean; washer & drying rack; great kitchenette; second shower located outdoors; and high ceilings. No negatives at all. Alwin was nice enough to pick us up from and drop us off at the airport. If you require taxi services for other trips, he can refer you to an excellent taxi company! We also appreciated his text messages just about every day to check in with us. Alwin is an amazing soul and we’ll definitely want to stay at the Cozy Cottage again!

    Sheng2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had three wonderful nights in this apartment. The bed is very comfortable, air conditioning very appreciable. The accommodation is well equipped and well located in the center of Soufriere while being quiet. Little cherry on the cake, Netflix is available for rainy evenings. The owner is accommodating and responsive.

    Cyril2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Alwin and Christina’s place was AMAZING ! Very modern and stylish. It’s located in the town so you can grab food, go to the beach, bar or bank (many of it is walking distance) WIFI GREAT! Communication was Great! Alwin was so sweet. He gave us a tour and took us to the Sulphur Springs (5mins away). His hospitality was outstanding and he is a Super human being.
