“Just a classic brasserie close form the flat, good beer (wine is not fantastic) and they have peanuts for free, and for me "peanuts is life" so ... :D Cosy atmosphere, lovely service. ”

Café

“Located in the heart of the Bassin de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement, the Pavillon des Canaux has sparked the interest and curiosity of many Parisians. It may be due to the fact that it resembles a large doll’s house where you can dine in any room, including the colourful bathroom. Order your preferred beverage with a plate of avocado on toast or enjoy a full brunch plate during the weekend at this quirky café located by the river.”

“On summer afternoons seems expressly arranged for people-watching, paper-reading and sunbathing. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10pm til 2am, devoted DJs warm up the little dance floor.”

“The PERFECT place to have a beer or a cocktail just on top of the water. In the summer with the sun during the day it can get a bit too hot with the sunshine but in the evening it’s just perfect…”

Thai Restaurant

“My favorite thai restaurant in Paris. There is often a line outside, so best to either go early or late, and avoid weekends and rainy days. But it's worth it, because everything is absolutely delicious, and seems very authentic (I've never been to Thailand, so I can't be sure). It's a very busy restaurant but the staff is usually very friendly and efficient. ”

Cambodian Restaurant

“A very good Asian dinner, a little more refined than our usual canteen in Chinatown. As a starter, we enjoyed a salad of lemongrass sausage, delicious with a little sauce of chopped tomatoes a little up, and ravioli fries with pork. In the dish I tried the classic bò bún with beef and nêms, a safe bet that turns out to be very tasty and hearty. The chicken rice is also delicious, the dishes are garnished with cabbage, carrots, grilled garlic, coriander and fresh chives. The setting is nice, the service fast and attentive; we recommend with eyes closed!”

“This place is a great place to have a drink or party on the week end. It's located in the middle of a park where parisians like to do jogging on the week-end. The place is very nice (I actually celebrated my birthday there 2 years ago)”
