Welcome to Kingfisher Lodge on Coochie :) If you are after a place to unwind, relax and touch base with nature, this is the holiday destination for you. Coochie is approximately 35 kms from Brisbane CBD and 1 km off the mainland from Victoria Point. Access via the passenger ferry or vehicular barge, $80 return. Coochie boasts 4 kms of white sandy beaches, perfect for swimming, beach walking, kayaking, boating and fishing. The Lodge is located on the Main Beach side, a 200m stroll to the beach.

The Hillside Retreat in Tambourine Mountain is the ideal getaway with breathtaking views of the Gold Coast and the hinterland, with an outdoor swimming pool, a heated spa, garden and bbq facilities. Enjoy the calm and tranquillity of the mountain with trails to hike, while being a few minutes' drive from the distilleries, wineries, Gallery Walk, Skywalk, National Park, Botanic Garden, fine eateries and a golf course. You'll love this little beach house/dupIex. Available is the top level, which is the original house. (Owner has downstairs unit and will be there at times.) It's not large but definitely comfortable for four adults and decorated in mid century style. Its 5 minutes walk to water and General Store. Free wifi and streaming services. It has 2 comfortable queen beds. Up to 2 dogs allowed and the yard is securely fenced. You will see koalas and kangaroos in the vicinity. Kitchen is well equipped.
