Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Rusk County

We were staying for business and want a good location for us and peaceful. This place was perfect for us. We really enjoyed grilling, then eating in the enclosed patio that overlooked lake Murvual. Brandis place had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, the washer/dryer worked great. Brandi was excellent with being responsive to any questions or that we ran out of drinking water. Starlink is such a huge bonus as well, one could easily work remotely with that internet speed. We will definitely be looking to be regulars here.

This place was a great find! Shawn is super responsive and the listing is just as described. It is so peaceful and quiet. We loved the sounds of nature and the stars. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful place, just know that there’s many cabins adjacent to each other and people party hardcore till 2am with load music. If you go to sleep early, make sure you have some white noise going. Other than that, it was an amazing and beautiful place, and I highly recommend visiting.

Great peaceful location and a great host!

Rodney was so great about communicating with us. He was super helpful and a warm and empathetic host. If you have kiddos, drive over to Kilgore to Raven‘s playland! There are so many great restaurants to try, as well. The backyard was perfect for our two dogs; the fence was secure so we did not have to worry about them getting out. There is a lot of traffic, but I didn’t notice it because we ran the window unit. The week we stayed it was both chilly outside and then warm and the heat and AC worked wonderfully.

This is the third cabin we've stayed in on the property. This one was just a little smaller than I thought but still a good rustic place to stay. 3 levels of back porch facing a large crater was a great place to hang out and enjoy. You can explore the property at will and everyone is really nice. be sure to bring towels, shower stuff and if you're cooking, whatever you need for that. I can't wait to make another trip back and rent another cabin!

It is so difficult to find a place that is dog-friendly. Dot's place was perfect for my fur baby and I. The suite is very spacious, it would be perfect for a midterm stay and there is a large fenced yard that my dog could ramble in. There is a nice shared patio that overlooks the yard and wooded area behind the house. dot was very responsive and welcoming. I would stay here again

Really neat home with abundant farm house charm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was the perfect get away for us, our kids and grandkids. We enjoyed fishing, paddle boating, the fire pit, and the beautiful view. We would definitely come back to this quaint place. The hosts even had a personalized welcome for us! The kitchen was stocked with spices and thankfully coffee filter since we forgot ours! We made so many wonderful memories and I know the grandkids will be begging to go back!

This place was absolutely beautiful! Loved to rustic feel and look of everything! Such a great quiet space my daughter and I walked to the lake which was beautiful I practically had to drag her out of the water. Overall a great stay and much needed retreat from our always busy lives we would love to stay here again and love to see what some of the other cabins have to offer!

Throughout our stay, we kept saying, "This place is so cute." We really loved staying here and will be back!

Kyle's place was great and exactly what we needed to stay a few nights in Kilgore while visiting family.

This was our third stay at the cottage. Their place is just outside of town. It is quiet and peaceful, but you can be in town in a few minutes. Everything you need for a short stay is there and the hosts are very helpful and welcoming.
