I had a fantastic stay at this cozy gem in Door County! The place was incredibly cute and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed the bonfire pit in the evenings, grilling out for dinner, and playing bag toss together. The location was also great, with so many fun things to do nearby. Whether we were exploring the local shops, heading out for a hike, or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully set up. You can tell the hosts put care into making it feel like a home away from home. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again — highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and charming spot in Door County!

Everything was nice and as pictured, we enjoyed our stay. The area is beautiful! If I were to point out possible upgrades, or help for future visitors- the den futon and couch are not super comfortable for sleeping- at least for adults and the water is well water, so definitely bring your own drinking water. Cuesta Coffee is about a block away and a must if you are a coffee junkie.

Our family of 5 had a great stay here! We loved the location - private but still close to Sister Bay and Ellison Bay. The cottage was beautifully decorated and well appointed and felt very cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace, games and record player in the evenings after full adventure days.

Twin Peaks- Private Beach at Sand Bay

Twin Peaks was a lovely setting, right by the bay, have your own private beach and large back yard with a fire pit. It had a screened porch and outside deck. Inside, there were 2 living room areas that could accommodate large groups well. The kitchen was well stocked. 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were roomy. Being a bit unfamiliar with Door County, it was further from the small towns (Sister Bay, Fish Creek & Ephraim) than we anticipated but it was an easy drive to these locations. During the season, Twin Peaks is a great site for a family vacation/reunion!!

This is a great space. We absolutely love that our dogs were welcome, they even had treats waiting for them. This is a great spot to explore Door Co from. Great location to hiking, food, galleries and beaches but private and secluded to hang out in the evening and mornings. We will be back next year!

Our February 2025 stay was the third or fourth in this home, the latest after a three-year hiatus. Each visit has been more comfortable and relaxing than the one before. We very much appreciate the quiet, wooded location that seems so distant from the nearest town, Sister Bay, but in reality is quite close. Even off-season there are more than enough choices of places to dine (try Thyme, The Old English Inn, Husby's and Sister Bay Bowl, for example). Our host , Arica, was most gracious when we had questions before and during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised at the renovations and upgrades since our last stay - including new furniture, kitchen appliances, bath fixtures, and installation of the gas fireplace. We are already planning our next visit, a longer stay to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversray.
