Was a lovely country escape! Very central location for hunter Valley- 15min drive to pretty much everywhere. Appreciated the hot tub and indoor fireplace- but still felt like the space is more of an autumn / spring / summer vibe. Very high ceilings meant it was difficult to keep warm if you didn’t want to use the air con (especially overnight), and the beautiful windows would create an excellent cross breeze in warmer months.

lovely little place clean and well maintained in a quiet area. They left bacon and eggs and a few other goodies for us to enjoy which was very much appreciated. Spa was lovely and clean unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use it. Highly recommend for staying and exploring the Hunter Valley.

Applegum is just perfection! Lovely quiet and secluded location. Stunning outlook across the valley. So relaxing to wake up to cows mooing and have a beautiful view of the countryside. It was lovely to sit on the verandah and have a cuppa. The kitchen is well stocked with good quality pantry staples. We had a cold snap when we were there but the house felt cosy and warm thanks to the combustion fire as well as other heating options. Beautifully decorated with lovely attention to detail. The outdoor hot tub was an absolute winner! Thanks Jane for hosting us, we will definitely be back

This is my second time staying at this cottage and it felt like home again. Cecilia is warm and friendly and takes great pride in being a host. Everything is as described and the cottage has what you need for a short or long stay. It’s a great location in Stockton, with all amenities accessible on foot. This is one of the best, if not the best, Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had.

We only had a short overnight stay driving from Gippsland to the Sunshine Coast. It was a great place to relax and get a good nights sleep. Peter was very helpful and friendly and made our dog Poppy feel very welcome. The house was on a busy street but Peter has set up the house and surrounding gardens perfectly to provide a quiet place to relax and stay. Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to cook up the bacon and eggs which were provided but it looked delicious.

My partner and I stayed in Cadair Cottage 1 and we really really enjoyed our short time here. We were only here for a couple of nights but would have loved to extend our trip. There is so much to like about this place. Firstly, the surroundings are just absolutely beautiful - you are in nature and if you’re coming from a city landscape you’ll switch off so quickly. The cottage itself was spotless and had such a homely feel. All of the amenities you’d need with a fireplace, stove top, wifi, tv with foxtel and streaming - beautiful bedrooms and comfortable linen. The hot tub is also so nice to relax in and watch the sun come down. The yard (which is fully fenced) offers an expansive play area for your furry friends and our girl Peppa absolutely loved her time here too. She had so much fun. You are visited by neighbouring sheep and cows and it’s truly magical to watch them graze and trail by. Thank you, Simone - we can’t wait to return to this beautiful property again.

What an amazing experience we had with our little ones, from waking up to feeding the horses, playing on the swing set to walking around the property. Eloise was so helpful and communicated all information that we needed. Its a perfect secluded home for getting away with the family.

Amazing place. One of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. Peaceful and quiet with very comfortable beds and furniture. Excellent host who goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need and want. Will happily leave you alone or keep you company and entertain you, if you prefer. Cozy fireplace. Modern bathroom. Awesome sauna and pool. Amazing views with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Excellent fire pit. Clear views of the stars and the Milky Way. A perfect getaway.

Once again we had a fabulous short stay at our favourite Newcastle Airbnb, Salty Dog Cottage, only 4 days this time but wish we had longer. Cute cottage, comfy beds, super clean and close to everything we needed for our stay. Next door to the fabulous Gunyah Hotel where we enjoyed a couple of yummy lunches. Although there was a bit of reveller noise late on the Saturday night, the pub was a definite plus. We will definitely be back. Thank you Joanne and Mike.

Beautiful little cottage with amazing views. Pet friendly, so there's lots of room outside for your fur-babies to roam around. Had a great stay!

Had a very good time at jilliby cottage, very nice and peaceful location with a great pool. The hosts were very friendly and kind. We will definitely be coming back whenever we are back in the area!

The Olive Retreat is a lovely cottage in a quiet and pretty setting, but not far from the road. 3 generous size bedrooms with decent wardrobe space, and 2 well appointed bathrooms with all the basic needs, towels, shampoo, conditioner etc. Kitchen had everything you needed. There is no wifi there, but actually this was a bit of a blessing ! Wood burning stove was lovely and we lit a fire most evenings. All in all we were very pleased with our choice and Sana most helpful.

Myself and 2 friends have stayed here several times now for our girls weekend away catch ups. We keep coming back for a reason. The house is lovely and cozy, with the most peaceful, serene surroundings, allowing us to truely unwind and relax and just enjoy our time away from the busy family lives we all have. Whether it’s enjoying a cuppa in the mornings in one of the many seating locations outside soaking up sun and the views , or sitting by the warmth of the fire of an evening while we chat, this is a getaway that we all truely look forward to. The host, Robyn, is very friendly and responsive, keeping us updated with any concerns, and clear instructions on how to enter the property, and always helpful when needed. We will be back yet again, to what is fast becoming our little home away from home, as it feels exactly like that. Very homely, and very comfortable. Perfect location, and centrally located to everything! We enjoyed 3 nights and it was the best holiday we’ve had in the Hunter so far. The kids enjoyed riding their bikes around the grounds, there was plenty of space and privacy. We enjoyed using the fire pit, playing the giant chess board and seeing the horses. The accommodation was really well presented, all newly updated, clean and came well equipped with everything we needed. Being a wood cabin, it was very cold, but luckily there was air split system air con in the living space, as well as a fireplace to take advantage of (which also created a beautiful ambiance during the night). There are some wineries within walking distance, on the same road, and it’s only about a 5 minute drive to “the Gardens”. All in all, we were really happy with our stay, and will likely return for our next Hunter trip! Thanks Guy.

My fiance and I stayed at Woodcutters before our wedding along with some of the wedding party. Peter was a great host and permitted us to have a family BBQ the night before our wedding day, even though no events were allowed on the listing. The main kitchen and living area was perfect to accommodate everyone and made for great wedding photos. The pool was an awesome feature.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Moneesha’s cottage. From the moment we arrived, Moneesha was incredibly hospitable. She kindly let us check in early and check out late, which made our trip even more relaxing. The cottage itself was peaceful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The serene setting by Lake Munmorah made it a truly restful escape. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return!

We adored our stay at Jen’s place! It was so close to everything. The house was so cute, Jen had thought of everything, extra blankets in each room, heaters, fire wood perfect for a winters stay! Jen was super attentive & assisted with booking an additional night last minute, highly recommend! We would stay again! Thank you for having us!

Rosebank cottage was a great place for we two couples to stay. The cottage has two double bedrooms, one at each end of the building with a common lounge, dining kitchen in the middle section. Each bedroom has a bathroom. The open fire was very welcome on the cold nights we were there. While just a little dated, the cottage is very welcoming and has everything you want for a weekend of indulgence in the vineyards. It is a short walk to Pepper Tree Vineyard and nearby to Circa 1876 which has fabulous food. It's central location was really handy. Kangaroos lounging in the property's vineyards was a treat. Nerina is a great host, very helpful and communicative. The breakfast basket they brought fresh to us every morning was also greatly appreciated. Highly recommended place to stay!

What a gem! Our stay at this stunning cottage was faultless. Elizabeth was a fantastic host, great communication, very accommodating, and gave us excellent local tips (Toronto Hotel for dinner and Mizumi for takeaway were both great). We were spoilt with a welcome gift of wine and chocolate Easter bunnies and eggs, such a lovely touch. The cottage was spotless, beds were super comfy with beautiful linen, and the big fluffy towels, bathroom amenities made it feel like a luxury hotel. All the extras were thought of, oils and seasonings for cooking, even washing capsules and stain remover, a lifesaver when traveling with kids! We fished off the jetty daily (caught a Bream, Flathead, Octopus, Crab, Whiting), used the kayaks, and relaxed in the cosy TV room. We enjoyed the fire pit one night too, with wood provided. The cottage is even better than the photos. 100% recommend and hope to return soon!

House on a vineyard, what more could you ask for. The wildlife we saw in the vines was amazing, so fun for the kids running around. Clean house. Everything you need is there. My only point for people with families is the stairs in the house are very steep and can be slippery. Just be cautious with kids. Besides that the house was perfect and exactly what we needed for our family getaway.
