Townhouse holiday rentals in Roscommon

We enjoyed staying at Anthony and Vinny's place for our short time in Athlone! The AirBnB was easy to find and easy to check-in. We didn't have to worry about parking because we arrived on Saturday evening and payed for 1hr of parking (€0.80) at a nearby lot and then parking was free for the rest of the evening and Sunday. If you're arriving/staying during the week, you may have to be prepared to pay for street parking during your stay. The place itself was clean and exactly as described. We liked how well-decorated and unique the space was! We also appreciated the common kitchen space with coffee and tea available for us in the morning. There was only one shared bathroom for the guest rooms, but there was also a sink and mirror in the room to use. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants a cozy, central place to stay during their time in Athlone!

Brothers Anthony and Vinny have created the most eclectic and comfortable place to stay in all of Athlone which was their family home that they grew up in. It does have a lot of stairs so probably not suited for some people. You will find it on the Castle side of Athlone. Our room was very clean, well decorated, had a comfortable bed and the ensuite was great Anthony and Vinny do provide other rooms with a shared bathroom. One of the best features was the kitchen/ dining and sitting room provided on the mezzanine floor where you could meet and chat with other guests. It was also great that a fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery cups and glasses were provided so you could make yourself breakfast and heat up food Not only did they provide tea and coffee but they provided little cakes and biscuits. It felt so homely and was close to some nice cafes. I highly recommend Anthony and Vinny’s place for a stay in Athlone.

Awesome location. Buses close to anywhere you need to go. Food across the street and market/grocery very close. Beautiful home. Great size room. Super kind host. Awesome common area. Literally steps away from Sean's bar. I was very pleased and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The house had everything we needed for our short trip. The location couldnt have been better and I was pleasantly surprised at how much there was to do in Drumshanbo.

The townhouse is very nicely decorated, very clean and neat and had everything I needed in the kitchen. The location was very convenient to shops and a nice park along the river right by the townhouse.

BastionBNB is a great place to sleep for a night or two, a cozy place with lots of cool decorations. Location is fantastic for an Athlone stay.

Very central and very close to Sean’s Bar. We parked up the street in public paid parking. The place was clean and super easy to find. It had everything we needed. Very quiet too other than the cars at night time. Woke up to the smell of breakfast cooking right under us was a treat. Anthony and Vinny were easy to reach and answered a of our question. Highly recommend!

Had a great stay at Jason's place whilst attending a wedding at Lough Rynn. The perfect accommodation, spotlessly clean and exactly what we needed. A very responsive host and would highly recommend a stay here. Slainte!

Our stay at Sandra's was a short one, but she was in contact before we arrived and was there to meet us. Sandra was very hospitable, and easy to talk to. Would definitely stay again.

We booked the lovely place for our team who were working , they felt right at home in the property, Ciana was really helpful if we needed anything. Was really flexible with the check out time as they had time to kill before moving on to other accom in a different location. Lovely property and a great host. Thanks for having us

We recently stayed at the Tailors in Ballyfarnon as we attended a family wedding in Kilronan Castle. Mary’s house is very clean and comfortable. It is very conveniently located and we were delighted to have stayed there. Thank you again Mary - we highly recommend this air bnb.

The place was in a fabulous location for getting around Athlone. Though the kitchen is small, it was well equipped and we were able to fix a nice meal there. Lisa was very helpful and left some nice treats for our arrival.

Philip is a fantastic host of a fantastic home in a fantastic location He was so helpful and nothing was too much for him If you needed anything, he got it. If you needed any local knowledge, he had it Bust most of all he was so welcoming and friendly Accommodation was superb. Great location and facilities. There were 13 in our party and we had plenty of room to relax with a range of ages and needs. Will definitely return and highly recommend this place and the host
