Cabin holiday rentals in Roscommon County

My husband spent two nights at this wonderful cabin and so enjoyed our time there! We ate at the boat house for lunch one day and walked the Wolf Creek Trailhead another, but other than that we enjoyed being at the cabin! The backyard was incredibly serene! We read and talked for hours around the bonfire until dark and then hit the hot tub both nights! What a wonderful space to get away and reconnect as a couple! I would absolutely suggest it as a couples get away! ❤️

We had a really enjoyable stay. Hot tube room with a projector was a highlight of the stay. We had our 2 dogs with us and they enjoyed all the outdoor space.

Lovely property with an amazing and cute little cabin. Very private, we walked the woods and had bonfires. The hot tub was great! We would definitely come back!

Edward was amazing! If you’re looking for a spot where it’s private and your host doesn’t bother you, this is it! Although the hot tub took over night to reach where we wanted it, it was amazing! I loved that he wasn’t there to show us around and ask a million questions like previous airbnbs I’ve been to. The door was easy to get in and over just peaceful. We only had 1 neighbor and even at that, we only saw them 1 time the whole time we were there. We much appreciated our stay and will stay again! The kitchen was well organized as well! (Bring your own coffee grounds lol, there’s a coffee maker, sugar and filters there already) over all, I’ve recommended the place to a couple of my friends searching for mini vacation spots. Amazing job Ed!

My wife’s family wanted to go to the casino in Standish. We didn’t, but it was an excuse to get away. This is 30 minutes away. As soon as we walked in the door, we fell in love with the place. The smell of fresh pine is everywhere, and it’s real. As I walked through the place, I thought of asking about the process they went through to make this beautiful cabin. There’s actually a picture book on the mantle that shows how they started with an empty shell. Very cool. If you look only at square footage, this is a small cabin. But, they use the space very efficiently. I never thought for one moment that the place was small or cramped. And, this is way better than a cabin at a campground. But, the real highlight is the host. It soon started feeling like we were family. Not family that makes you go to a stupid casino, but someone that’s there for you, always responding within minutes, even at 12:30 in the morning. I wish my family were more like that. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed my stay! It was very cozy with everything you need! The hot tub was amazing along with access to the kayaks to enjoy on the lake!! Courtney responded very quickly to any questions, this place is definitely worth the stay!

The cabin is absolutely stunning—beautifully designed, packed with thoughtful amenities, and offering breathtaking views. The only downside is that the lake isn't suitable for swimming

Jasmines place was absolutely perfect for our family stay! The house was so cute and charming, plenty of space for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. Jasmine had everything we could possibly need and we appreciated all the sweet detailed decor. We are a family who loves books and games - Jasmine had plenty of both! The outdoor space was enough for us not to want to leave at all, perfect for letting the dogs run and to play several rounds of cornhole into the night with the string lights creating the perfect amount of light for us to enjoy our outdoor time. We came up north to spend a long weekend at the lake with friends and family and the location was just right. We use airbnb multiple times a year and this was by far one of our faves. We will 100% be back!!

Nice place close to the lake

Perfect sized home for 7 people and 2 dogs for vacation! Very peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Boat rentals within walking distance, great restaurants in the area, beaches, mini golf, real golf whatever you’re looking for you can find it! Thank you Lauren, we absolutely loved our stay!

Sarah is a great host and was extremely prompt. I’ve never stayed in a place with so many amenities. The cabin was very cozy and everything worked like it should. I only have one thing I’d like to mention but it doesn’t affect my rating. The second bedroom is described as 2 twin beds and it absolutely does but the bed in a trundle bed. If you don’t use the bottom bed it is not ideal getting in and out of the bed and I’m pretty tall. Like I said this doesn’t affect my rating because everything else was great. The front porch has a great view of the lake and there’s a lot of space to sit down on the water. I would love to come back!

We spent most of our time at South Higgins State Park for a Family Reunion during the afternoons. Mornings were awesome with the peaceful woodsy scenery. We spent the later evenings chillin at RACHAEL'S relaxing and watching a movie. The decking and Firepit were such great features! We would defiantly stay again. Warmest Regards, Cathy & Mark

The house is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Grant has a great eye for decorating and unique features. Every detail was perfect. The neighborhood is very calm and peaceful and only a very short drive from the state park. We enjoyed our stay there immensely and the relaxation started the moment we opened the door. Thank you for a couple wonderful days.

My family and I really enjoyed this cabin’s rustic aesthetic. The giant sunroom overlooking the lake was everyone’s favorite feature. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Tami’s. It’s a great location to see the sun rise over Higgins Lake and beautiful orange skies to the west for sunsets. Neighborhood was great for taking a walk. Walking distance to the Silver Dollar Restaurant, one of my favorite places. It felt like home.

Shawn’s cottage was awesome! My friends and I stayed here for an atv trip and it’s in a great location to do just that. It’s pretty private and peaceful. House was clean and tidy. Great place to stay!

Todd's place in St. Helen's was delightful, we were quite impressed during our stay. The house has many luxurious updates, and temperature control for every room. Leather couches and a beautiful wooden table give the space a sleek feel, which can be a feat when in northern Michigan. There is also an amazing wood burning stove we didn't even get to use, but would love to try it in colder months. The fenced in back yard was so appreciated as our toddler was with us, and beyond security it is a very relaxing back yard. We loved the fire pit and ate outside with the picnic tables! This kitchen was well stocked with essentials and appliances. The bunk beds seemed very comfortable, even more so than the full size bed in the other room, which was quite firm. Close proximity to the beach area &park was convenient, as was the ice cream truck frequenting the neighborhood! Can't recommend Todd's place enough!
