3 bedroom home on 2.5 acres overlooking the lower Columbia River. Main floor includes master suite with 2 queen beds, 2nd bedroom with 1 queen bed. Downstairs daylight basement includes 1 queen, 2 twins. All rooms have a view of the Columbia River! We are 9 miles off Hwy 4 in Wahkiakum county. Definitely out in the country! Guests often enjoy seeing deer and bald eagles flying by. The last couple of miles are pretty winding, but the view at the end is worth it!

Came to the area for a weekend honeymoon with my husband. It has all the necessities, we felt safe and got the quiet we needed to conk out after a long day of hiking. The property is gorgeous, the place is cozy, and Amanda is a super responsive and kind host! On our last morning, we woke up to a vase of fresh cut flowers. Easily the best airbnb I’ve experienced.

The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the space was equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Claudia's place is like a home away from home for us for our longer stay in Astoria. The home is darling, full of character and a lovingly-maintained historical gem. The cottage has both timeless and well-preserved charm, and also the modern comforts that make life and work easy and pleasant. The cottage provided everything we need to move in an live for a longer stay and to make ourselves at home. The home's decor and furniture are tasteful and elevate the experience of living in the cottage-- the art on the walls, the comfortable spaces to work and relax and take in the views from all make this the perfect place to experience this truly special city and community. We couldn't imagine a better situation for us to work remotely and also to enjoy the Pacific Northwest from. The views from kitchen and deck are unmatched, and the couch and easy chair are so comfortable--the perfect place to curl up with a book from the well-stocked shelves. This is my favorite Airbnb, bar none.

It is easy to understand why Peter and Kezha's home is a guest favorite! While the house is not new, the experience the hosts have created is luxurious. The kitchen is an experienced cook's dream, the dining space delightfully romantic, the upper level blissful to whichever couple scores it, and all of these spaces are set to stunning views of the Columbia River with its wild life and shipping lanes. The house is secluded, and yet right in the heart of any adventure one could possibly want to have in this area. My wife and I along with our two canines walked to beaches, the nature reserve, and along the sloughs. We were kept thoroughly entertained by the variety of birds visible through the windows, and enhanced by the binoculars thoughtfully provided on the various window sills. We were there for a long weekend, and each day stretched out with a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. As my wife said, "this is our new favorite place!"

What a great find! My friend and I used this place as a base for northern Oregon day trips and it was such a cute town to land in! Everything we needed was within walking distance, and everyone in town was really friendly. Seeing the water every morning was also a huge plus for this spot. The place was clean, we got good cell service the whole time, and everything was well stocked. We’d definitely stay here again!
