Quinta do Caminho da Igreja TER1 (Farmhouse)

Traditional country house of São Jorge Island, built 100 years ago by our great-grandparents,was at that time a small house and haystack,where they kept the animals that worked in the farm. It is located a few meters from the sea in an absolutely quiet location. The surrounding area is great for sightseeing, hiking, and bathing in the sea. Modern vacation house implanted on the hang above the small town of Velas, in São Jorge Island, with a unique view over the ocean channel between the triangle islands (São Jorge, Pico and Faial). They are 5 walking minutes (going downhill) from the centre of Velas (shopping, cafés, restaurants), and 10 minutes from the natural swimming pools in the ocean. Please take into consideration that the return way on foot includes a steep climb of about 100 meters. It is 700 m until the harbour of Velas.
