It is 23 km/20 minutes by car to Røros, 8 km to the village of Glåmos with grocery store, and 10 km to Olavsgruva. Here there is always snow in winter, and ski tracks lead up to Rørosvidda's extensive trail network when conditions allow. Good hiking opportunities nearby also in the summer.
