After spending all of my working career in central London and living in the suburbs, I settled in this wonderful seaside town with my husband Sam. We would love to share the many secrets of this little known town and invite you to stay in our cottage to explore the history, heritage and charm of South East Kent. We can proudly boast of the only complete pier in Kent, two castles, wonderful walks, incredible golf courses, a rich maritime and fishing history and a high street full of vintage and independent shops, restaurants and cafes. Fishing trips and cycle rides are available on our doorstep and a little further afield are the medieval cinque port of Sandwich, the thrills and spills of Dreamland at Margate, the shopping and splendour of Canterbury and the cross channel ferry port of Dover.
