Our traditional and cosy 2 bedroom cottage is full of character and charm. With stunning views and far reaching garden the cottage is ideally situated a few miles from St Andrews.

The space

Quiet semi detached cottage within easy access to St Andrews.

The cottage is traditional with 2 double bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. There's a double sofa bed in the living room should your party be more than 4.

The open fire is great for sitting in front with a glass of wine or whisky on a cold night. We'll also make sure that there's plenty fire wood.

There's a large rear garden with stunning views and is perfect to relax in after a day golfing or touring around the area. There's a wildlife pond and apple trees creating a lovely outdoor space. The back garden is fully enclosed for those with dogs.

The cottage is not in St Andrews, but situated 3 miles from the town centre.

Guest access

Guests have full access to the entire cottage. The place will be yours to enjoy and come and go as you please.

Other things to note

Enjoy your stay here. It's very relaxing and the garden is great for sitting out and enjoying the sun (when it's out)!

The cottage is very cosy & great location for days out in st.andrews. The main road didn't affect us slightly , it had an enclosed backyard for the kids & dog. We had a wonderful time. Deborah & john

This was a great place to stay while in St. Andrews. Andy was a friendly and accommodating host and was flexible when I had a change to my plans. Although the cottage is close to a road, there was never much traffic and it really tapered off at night. This was a great home away from home!

We stayed in Andrew's cottage whilst attending a wedding at the Rufflets hotel. The cottage was lovely and we got some beautiful photos out in the garden before heading to the wedding. The location was really convenient for getting to and from the event at Rufflets, and we would definitely recommend this as a base for going into St Andrews, even though it’s a little bit further out of town. Andrew’s instructions for finding the cottage were really clear and he helpfully provided details of taxi companies in the area.

The accommodation was exactly what we were looking for. It's is ideally situated. You get lovely open views of the countryside yet is only a few mins drive in to St Andrews centre. We wanted a retreat and this place was ideal. The accommodation is lovely and functional. The bed in the master bedroom was sooooo comfy. The kitchen is fully kitted out. Everything worked as it should. If there had been any issues I was confident that our host would have dealt with things swiftly. The rear garden was lawned and had a BBQ. We didn't use it but in summer months can imagine enjoying outside life. The host provided some firewood and lighters so we were able to have a warm fire in the evenings.there was also a lovely touch of a wee dram of whisky provided by the host. I enjoyed a couple of "wee drams" which added to that lovely sense of relaxation and contentment!!! In summary - lovely place, lovely location, lovely host and I look forward to a repeat visit in the future. I recommend both the host and the accommodation.
