The space
Welcome to King Vista! This Scandinavian inspired home was thoughtfully designed to minimize the carbon footprint. With geothermal heating and cooling, in floor radiant heating, air source heated pool, as well as EV car charging, you can feel one with nature at this rural retreat! The home was built on the top of a ridge overlooking the Niagara Escarpment to the West and with views to the cities of Toronto, Mississauga and Brampton to the south. Everywhere you look, there is a beautiful vista to enjoy and the perfect sunset. Set on 50 acres of rolling hills, this is a private estate where you can truly get away from it all! The entire west side of the home is glass. The second level of the home has a walkout to enjoy the outdoors from every bedroom and common area. The open concept main floor allows guests to enjoy maximum views and allows for easy entertaining between the kitchen, living room and outdoor pool area. The floating staircase is an architectural feature of the home that maintains the views from one side of the house to the other! There is a main floor primary bedroom as well as 3 additional guest rooms upstairs and 1 on the lower level for a total of 5 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 8 guests. Each guest suite on the two main levels has its own ensuite. The overflow bedroom on the lower level has a shared bathroom with steam room. Indoor/outdoor living was thoughtfully designed with the terrace and pool located directly off the kitchen. The terrace with outdoor dining and living area also has automated screens to enjoy the summer evenings outdoors. There is a built in SONOS sound system on the main floor that extends to the outdoor terrace. The heated saltwater pool and saltwater hot tub are the perfect complement to enjoy the outdoor space. The pool is available from May to October and the hot tub is open all year! There is a gravel fire pit area that offers a stunning lookout point with Panoramic views to the West and to the South. On the second level there is also a large outdoor terrace with artificial turf which is the perfect spot for morning yoga or coffee. It is also a great retreat for evening cocktails. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen has everything you need for entertaining. Top of the line appliances including an induction cooktop that boils water in under a minute! There is a large island with prep sink, two dishwashers, a separate pantry with coffee bar, in kitchen dining with seating for 8, as well as a large dining table in the living area that can also accommodate 8 guests. We can also provide chef services for a special catered meal. The lower level of the home is an entertainer's dream complete with a media room, dining area, full size gym, ping pong table, an additional guest bedroom, plus a full size bathroom with steam room. This vacation home is perfect for family and friends. It's also well suited for yoga and fitness retreats as well as small corporate gatherings. Filming and photo shoots can also be arranged upon request.
