Set on 50 acres of beautiful countryside, this spacious, pet friendly home invites you to unwind and embrace the serenity of rural living. The space
Whether you're gathering around the wood-fired pizza oven for an alfresco dinner (we provide the wood!), soaking in the heated outdoor spa, or unwinding on the expansive deck, every corner of Country House Retreat invites relaxation and fun. Enjoy dining under fairy lights, sipping wine at sunset, a friendly game of table tennis in the games room, and stargazing after a delicious meal.

For outdoor adventures, the Gippsland Lakes are just a 4-minute drive away—perfect for swimming, fishing, or launching your paddleboard or kayak. If you're bringing a larger boat, the Shaving Point boat ramp in nearby Metung is your best launch spot.

The house is fully wheelchair accessible, and we offer a range of mobility aids upon request. Pets are welcome to join you if they are clean and well-behaved.

Nungurner is a 10 minute drive from Metung and 15 minutes from Lakes Entrance so you can easily pop in to get all the supplies you need during your stay, but enjoy being away from the holiday crowds. There are always weekend markets on in the region and beautiful beaches and bushland to explore which we will be happy to point you in the direction of. There are also some fantastic biking trails in our neighbourhood if you're seeking some adventures on two wheels during your stay.
