Towering glass and timber home with direct frontage to Lake Cooroibah on the Noosa river system. Noosaville 8 minutes, Hastings Street 12. From lofty decks gaze into tops of towering trees and across tranquil lake vistas. Sweeping open plan alfresco living. Quiet sandy beach for the kids just in front of the house while the bustle of Hastings Street and Noosa surf beach is minutes away. Kyaks for parents and kids. A short paddle to a wilderness experience near Cooroibah Creek entrance.
Multiple bifold doors open from a sweeping two story lounge to decks reaching for the trees. Sea breezes float through the interior space. The master bedroom is in Balinese style, with its own deck access, huge bathroom and spa.
Noosa does get crowded at times. Tall Gums is away from the crowds but close to the action. Kids love the sandy lake beach, and if you want a change from Noosa Main Beach or the beaches along the Noosa River you just need to step out the door.
Guests use all levels of the house, including decks high in the trees and the atmospheric mezzanine at tree top level.
Interaction with guests
We love to greet guests when we can, and are frequent Airbnb users ourselves.
Other things to note
Kids love the sandy beach and warm shallow waters of the lake just in front of the house. Parents love the quiet bush environment so close to Noosa's humming tourist attractions.

In a previous life I was a secondary teacher and gallery owner. Now I am nine times a grandmother. The grandchildren adore visiting the house, fishing, kayaking and adventuring. I adore having them there.
I'm fascinated by inter-cultural interaction and have travelled to most continents over the last 40 years. I also love reading on the deck and kayaking on the river. Also local aqua-aerobics and having lazy breakfasts by the river at Noosaville or in Hastings Street.
