Description

The space

Multiple bifold doors open from a sweeping two story lounge to decks reaching for the trees. Sea breezes float through the interior space. The master bedroom is in Balinese style, with its own deck access, huge bathroom and spa.

Noosa does get crowded at times. Tall gums is away from the crowds but close to the action. Kids love the sandy lake beach, and if you want a change from Noosa Main Beach or the beaches along the Noosa River you just need to step out the door.

Guest access

Guests use all levels of the house, including decks high in the trees.

Interaction with guests

We love to greet guests, and are frequent Airbnb users ourselves

The neighbourhood

Noosa is internationally known as a destination for families, romantic couples and international visitors. Beaches (sea and river), boutique shopping, unbelievable variety of restaurants, fishing, boating, day tours (Fraser Island, Noosa Everglades, Aussie World, Australia Zoo, Cooloola National Park), Noosa festivals (jazz, food, Noosa Long Weekend, Triathlon, Festival of Surfing)

Other things to note

Kids love the sandy beach and warm shallow waters of the lake just in front of the house. Parents love the quiet bush environment so close to Noosa's humming tourist attractions.

Really nice and large house with two en-suite king size rooms. Location is great for those looking for something about 20 minutes drive out of Noosa main beach. The house could do with a bit of a deep clean and touch up of paint etc as it has an unloved feel to it. Also, no Wi-Fi is slightly annoying as there is very limited 4G. Great for the price though so would definitely recommend to big families on a budget. Master room was very nice!

Beautiful spacious house, very comfortable. You need to bring your own toiletries though. Great for a big group. The lake is very shallow and not good for swimming. We just did some canoeing and catching crabs. It's a bit of a drive to Noosa but worth it as it's so tranquil there with beautiful views of the trees and lake. You can't help but feel very relaxed. The master bedroom is very luxurious with spa and gorgeous outlook. The kids loved having their own space downstairs and up on the mezzanine. We had friends come for a visit and there was plenty of room for entertaining. The kitchen is huge so you can cook up a storm if you wish.

The house is beautiful, and very spacious, but a long way from anything else such as beaches (20 minute drive to Noosa). Only one bedroom is air-conditioned but all have fans. The kitchen was great, with plenty of crockery and cutlery. The lake is pretty to look at and walk around, but not useful for swimming or fishing.

This house was magnificent. It was just what we wanted. We wanted a house that could accommodate our extended family which it did easily. It was right on the waterfront, very peaceful with lovely views. The house had everything we required.

In a previous life I was a secondary teacher and gallery owner. Now I am nine times a grandmother. The grandchildren adore visiting the house, fishing, kayaking and adventuring. I adore having them there.
I'm fascinated by inter-cultural interaction and have travelled to most continents over the last 40 years. I also love reading on the deck and kayaking on the river. Also local aqua-aerobics and having lazy breakfasts by the river at Noosaville or in Hastings Street.
