Facts about this booking:
Three emails via the airbnb system were sent to Jason prior to his check in stating my staff would show them into the house and that there was a welcome / information booklet on the desk that would tell them everything about my house and surrounding area.
My daughter indeed showed them into their house and explained everything as well.
About an hour after Jason and his friend checked in, I received an email via the airbnb system from Jason asking me, personally to come over and give them some ideas on where to go.
I sent an email immediately back telling them I would come now.
I arrived in the house 7 minutes later and there was nobody in the house. They left all the lights on and aircons running and went out.
I sat in the house waiting for them for about 1 hour. While I was there, I sent them two more emails asking where they were because I was at the house. Next I sent texts explaining places to eat, the super market, the ATM machines and if they needed anything more to call me or text me anytime. (all of this info is also in my information booklet in the house as I explained in my initial emails)
My maids cleaned once per day in the house throughout their stay and my gardener tidied up the garden. These three staff members were available to speak to on a daily basis if there was something not to their satisfaction in the house, Jason never said anything to them.
I live next door, so I'm quite easy to find.
My telephone numbers, my house manager's number and our emails are all available for communication. I state very clearly, if you need anything, please contact me.
NOT ONCE did Jason contact me during his stay.
For proof of my claim, I have all the correspondence saved in the airbnb system. Further to this I have texts and (Hidden by Airbnb) messages to his number.
Wi-fi, fridge, wires and door locks are easy maintenance repairs and can be solved only if the guests let the host know. I do not include mind reading in my talents.
Jason is a first time user in airbnb and has no reviews. I have 133 positive reviews.
I am not interested in hosting guests who do not let the host know if they are experiencing a problem in my property during their stay. A house in the tropical island of Bali is a running operation that can experience maintenance issues. I endeavour to solve any issues for my guests as fast as I can once you inform me.
Never contacting me once during your stay but instead waiting until the end of your trip to post a bad review about my place shows the true nature and character of Jason. Should anyone reading this review wish to do the same as Jason, please do not choose my place for your stay.
Airbnb has been a very positive, amazing experience for me & my family and in return for my guests since I joined in 2011. This is clear in all my reviews & reviews I have given about others. Open communication & sharing is for me what airbnb is all about.
I do not recommend Jason Manfield who has left a review in this manner. Future hosts beware.
