This little cottage was built by my Great Great grandfather in 1870. Restored 5 years ago, the original Cornish miners cottage remains but we have included a lovely spacious living room, modern bathroom with luxury spa, deck & modern kitchen.
Our 2 "fur babies" will frequent the house during your stay so if you don't like cats unfortunately this is not the place for you.

The space

We are located on the outskirts of the quaint little village of Lyndoch. Surrounded by old (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)s, our cottage includes a large deck for relaxing and a large garden with fruit trees...please help yourself. You will also have access to discounted dining at our cafe, the Table Cafe, located just 1 km away in the heart of Lyndoch.

Guest access

You will have full access to the house excluding the 2nd bedroom and a couple of cupboard spaces.

Interaction with guests

We will be in Lyndoch most of the time at our cafe but if we happen to be out of town we will leave instructions with my folks who live just around the corner.

Other things to note

The Tour Down Under on 19th January will go along Jollytown road 4 times so its an ideal location for the cycling enthusiast!

Lynley was very easy to communicate with and always followed up quickly. They met us on arrival and were warm and friendly. Very keen to make us feel welcome and at home. Bathroom and living room were excellent areas! Loved the big shower and the hot water was fabulous! Spa bath - huge! Lynley and her partner left us more than enough breakfast supplies for our week - which we enjoyed. We didn't get out in the cold weather onto their deck - but in the warmer months, it would be awesome! Heating was more than adequate - 2 split systems heated the whole place. We enjoyed staying in Lyndoch as it was a more relaxed location in the Barossa. Only 20mins by car to Nuriootpa (which is a large country town) and 10 mins in car to lovely Tanunda. We jumped on to the bike path easily and had a lovely ride to many wineries and eateries.

We live and have a cafe in Lyndoch. I am totally in love with the Barossa. I am a 5 generation Lyndochian and the cottage was one of the first built in the Barossa by my forefathers. My partner, James and I met in Balmain Sydney where I also had a cafe....very long story but it leads us to this little cottage. We are the proud parents of Mollee who turns 5 in January.
