This little cottage was built by my Great Great grandfather in 1870. Restored 5 years ago, the original Cornish miners cottage remains but we have included a lovely spacious living room, modern bathroom with luxury spa, deck & modern kitchen.
Our 2 "fur babies" will frequent the house during your stay so if you don't like cats unfortunately this is not the place for you.
We are located on the outskirts of the quaint little village of Lyndoch. Surrounded by old (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)s, our cottage includes a large deck for relaxing and a large garden with fruit trees...please help yourself. You will also have access to discounted dining at our cafe, the Table Cafe, located just 1 km away in the heart of Lyndoch.
You will have full access to the house excluding the 2nd bedroom and a couple of cupboard spaces.
Interaction with guests
We will be in Lyndoch most of the time at our cafe but if we happen to be out of town we will leave instructions with my folks who live just around the corner.
Other things to note
The Tour Down Under on 19th January will go along Jollytown road 4 times so its an ideal location for the cycling enthusiast!
We are in the country however we have neighbours We want you to have a great time and utilise the alfresco dining and lounge area but be mindful of the neighbours. Our cats Hunter and Dora are lovely and friendly. They appreciate a good scratch if you are a pet lover.
We live and have a cafe in Lyndoch. I am totally in love with the Barossa. I am a 5 generation Lyndochian and the cottage was one of the first built in the Barossa by my forefathers. My partner, James and I met in Balmain Sydney where I also had a cafe....very long story but it leads us to this little cottage. We are the proud parents of Mollee who turns 5 in January.
