ONE LAST THING:
THE GOLDILOCKS FACTOR

We will routinely make up both beds.
The cost of renting this house is for two people. If you use both beds there will be a post-stay charge for laundry and make up of the second bed. We do this to contain costs when there is only one bed being used and to save you paying for housekeeping that you are not needing. Thank you for your understanding.

Guest access
Guest access is by key to be found in the lock box by the front door. The code will be sent to you on the day of your check-in.

Other things to note
This is a quirky house with some unusual features.

It is designed to take advantage of afternoon 'sea breezes' which cool the house during summer.

IN SUMMER: You can make the space comfortable by :
- opening the front and back doors early in the morning and sing the ceiling fans.
- closing all doors and windows once the day starts too warm up.
- make sure you CLOSE ALL the windows upstairs and downstairs before you turn on the air conditioner in the living room.

POWER ECONOMY: Although this house has solar panels, it does not generate its entire electrical requirements.

Please BE MINDFUL OF TURNING OFF AIR-CONDITIONERS and LIGHTS when not required.

You can help us maintain our reasonable costs by ensuring:
1. You use heavy electrical load items during daylight hours (dishwasher, washing machine) and cool the house with AC during the day.

IN WINTER : you'll find that the upstairs areas are especially cosy, again, if you are heating the rooms please CLOSE THE DOORS and windows.

My work: Travel is my business. Hospitality, my passion.
Speaks Italian
Creating warm, welcoming, functional and pleasantly surprising environments and experiences for others is at the heart of all I do. Travel, art, textiles, yoga and tango - all passions which fire my imagination and life. An art gallerist for many years, I travelled and collected extensively - the creative impulse to adorn reflected in my homes in Perth and Bali (both Airbnb properties). As a professional traveller since 2014, I live, work and sometimes study in unusual and beautiful places, getting to know them intimately, ultimately sharing the experience with others in the small group tours and art retreats that I design and accompany. 'Spice Voyages' currently brings adventurous travellers to Morocco and Sri Lanka, where I've been living for the last 2 years. Ethiopia and India have been previous destinations. 'Creative Living Retreats' brings together professional artist teachers and yogis for week-long Art and Yoga retreats in Bali and Sri Lanka.
