Recycle and re purpose with creativity and style is the mantra at the container. A recycled shipping container renovated to a luxury standard utilising local eclectic materials. A one bedroom getaway with a king size bed, french flax linen, organic breakfast hamper supplied, mini bar stocked with Tassie wines, pre packed meals and a wood fire.

The space
"the container" at The Trig... a one bedroom getaway with a king size bed decked out with organic linen sheets, robes, full kitchen facilities, fine Tasmanian wines, TV, IPOD, movies, record player, art supplies, books, games and musical instruments.
You will discover the joy of our bath under the stars with Aesop natural products for your use.
With organic breakfast provisions provided, you can enjoy granola with yogurt, fresh fruit, organic sourdough bread or eggs if you wish.

The Container experience is as busy or relaxed as you choose, onsite you will find lots to do – draw, paint, knit, read or play the guitar, it is endless. Or simply do nothing – just sit and be inspired by your surroundings.
You are only minutes drive away from many top notch vineyards, Hollybank, the Lavender Farm or Barnbugle Dunes.

The Container has a wood fire for heating. You need to be able to manage a wood heater independently.

Lilydale is only 20 minutes from Launceston, in the heart of the Tamar valley wine route, a short drive to the Lavender Farm and Barnbougle Dunes, Jansz and Pipers Brook. Lilydale is a small community with all amenities... supermarket,cafe, newsagency,post office local markets and a pub.. most often guests just want to stay in .... stop and admire the view...

The place is yours , you will find it unlocked with the fire going in the winter...... wine and food available to purchase.... organic breakfast supplied, peace, solitude and space for you to enjoy... add art supplies, musical instruments.. its an adventure!
