We have luxurious romantic getaway in a two-bedroom, self-contained converted church. For those seeking a peaceful and laid-back holiday experience in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Old Saint John’s is the ideal choice. Enjoy the tropical scented garden from your back deck, all year round. “Close to Heaven”.

Location - In the Rainforest & Close to Everything
Our property is located in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterlands. We are close to Lamington National Park and the famous Binna Burra and O'Reilly's Resorts. There are hundreds of walking trails and rainforest walks. We'd be more than happy to share with you some of our favourites, only known by the locals.

Whilst enjoying the rainforest you're also just 40 minutes drive from the beaches at Surfer's Paradise and the popular theme parks.

This is also a famous wine area. Our property is surrounded by vineyards, a wine tour is a great way to spend a day or two!

Old Saint John’s Church offers:
- Unique open plan accommodation for up to six guests.
- Television room with DVD library.
- A traditional log fire
- Air conditioning with reverse cycle.
- Brass and four post beds.
- Self contained kitchen and modern facilities.
- Mezzanine floors, and recycled features throughout.

We also have a huge bird aviary if you want to see some of Australia's local and exotic birdlife up close. Wedge-tail eagles also regularly fly over head so it really is a great spot for bird lovers.

At the end of our property is also a popular spot for paragliders and hang gliding, the Australian Championships are held here.

Best way to reach us is by car.
