Imagine having this pool to yourself, a huge hot tub to yourself ! Everyone who stays here just doesnt want to leave. This beautiful location has been described as 'in the middle of nowhere, yet in the middle of everywhere'. If you are looking for a base to explore Andalusia then you have found it. This unique property dates back over 200 years which becomes apparent as you explore its charm and individuality. An amazing place to stay and then come back and stay again.

The space
The room is just beautiful, original beams with a high vaulted ceiling. It has a view onto the inner courtyard from the window and views across the land and swimming pool from the Juliet Balcony doors. The room has its own private shower room with good sized shower cubicle and rain shower.

Guest access
You have your own private entrance door, a beamed sitting room with wood burning stove for the colder months and air conditioning for when its warm. There is a table with coffee machine, and a mini fridge with a selection of goodies ! x

During your stay
When you book we will give you a dedicated watsapp number so you can contact us at any stage of your stay. We are always on hand to give advice or help in anyway where we can.

Other things to note
Please be aware that if you are tall you will need to be careful when walking up and down the stairs and through some doorways as the property is very old and low in some places ! Also we have three very friendly spaniels who feel that anyone who comes here have come to see them so if you are not a dog lover, please do not book to come here. They will not be allowed in your private spaces, but they are around !

Cortijo La Serena is located 10 minutes drive up into the mountains off of junction 16 Villanueva Del Rosario. We are approximately 10 minutes drive to the villages of Villanueva Del Rosario and Villanueva Del Trabuco, we are approximately 15 minutes drive from Archidona and approximately 25 minutes drive from Antequera. Further afield you will find Cordoba, Granada, Seville and Ronda. If you would like a day at the beach we are approximately 40 minutes drive down to the costa del sol and Malaga Airport.
