This rustic little workers cottage is located in the peaceful surrounds of the sunshine coast hinterland. Perfect for an authentic hinterland escape, there is a firepit, plenty of outdoor entertaining space, a BBQ and creek to explore; whilst only being an 8 minute drive from Maleny township.

The space
Enjoy the peaceful surrounds, sunny upper deck, the bird choir in the morning, the creek, the BBQ and the firepit on a starry night.
The lounge is cosy, with a heater that has a 'fireplace look'. There is a large collection of DVD's and some games for you to enjoy (no TV reception, only DVD's).
The two bedrooms are quite spacious for a small cottage, the main bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bed and a single. Both bedrooms have lovely French doors that open onto the upper deck. There is air conditioning in the main bedroom and living area.
The lounge, kitchen and bathroom are all downstairs (because its only a workers cottage there are *no laundry facilities* there is a laundromat in town though if you need). The lower deck wraps around the lounge area which is has glass sliding doors that take in the beautiful surrounds.
Wifi dongle is available.

The cottage is located down a long gravel driveway, easy for 4Wheel drive and if you are a confident driver still suitable for two-wheel drive, but not suitable for lowered cars. You'll be free to use the cottage lawn and the portion of the creek that is on the cottage block. Whilst the block is quite private the driveway entrance is shared. You will pass a blue house on the way down to the cottage and you will also notice the neighbours with the horse corral nearby so please be mindful of helping to maintain the peacefulness of this spot together.

Explore the cottage block but please take care as you wander. It can be slippery at times, especially by the creek. You may also chance upon wildlife so tread carefully and pull on some boots if you wish to explore. The creek can also flood during periods of heavy rain so please be safe and keep your distance in bad weather.

You will notice a few humps that look like speed bumps but they are actually to divert rain run-off. Please so very slowly over these so you don't scrape the bottom of your car.
