We loved staying at Luca & Viola's place. It's magical! The house is beautiful and it's surrounded by a huge garden of olive trees. Luca & Viola make their own olive oil out of their own harvest. We even witnessed the harvest and other guests even chose to participate. They have invited us to go to the mill with them which can be an amazing and unique experience for most. The breakfast is nice and so is Lamporecchio. It's a beautiful small town, free of tourist bus and you can get a taste of real local Tuscan life. Viola also works at the local pizzeria where you can eat "real" Italian pizza. I highly recommend staying there if you're after spending time in an authentic tuscan village, away from tourist places. Within the vicinity (by car) you can visit places like Vinci, Lucca and San Miniato, the latter being highly recommended. One thing you should know as a guest is that the rooms on the bottom floor (we stayed in "Camera Limone") are connected by a door, which is of course locked, but you can hear into the other rooms. We were lucky enough to be neighbours with a lovely French couple who was very respectful and silent because we could hear everything from eachother's rooms. But in general people visiting these places aren't there to stay up late or to party so this shouldn't be a big problem. It's just good that you, as visitor know this. If you are ok with that, you will love staying here, and you should!

The house was beautiful and the view from the patio was incredible at night. The surroundings with endless olive trees was also amazing, especially during the sunset. The room itself was lovely, clean and comfortable. I recommend visiting the small and charming Vinci town which is in a short driving distance.

This place is amazing. It's beautiful. If you make stay here, make sure to eat in the small restaurant up the hill. We had a lot of fun and would have loved to stay a little longer:)

Such an amazing property! We enjoyed the nice room which is exactly as described. Luca and Viola are such welcoming and gracious hosts. We really enjoyed being able to relax by the pool with the breath-taking views. The common areas included the dinning area for daily breakfast and a delicious dinner prepared by Luca. We spent 5 nights and took day trips to Lucca, Pisa and Florence. A car would be advisable, and driving to Empoli to take the train to a number of nearby towns is a best practice. Their dog, Aisha, is a really sweet dog that keeps to herself but will be your best friend if you give her a few treats, of course with Luca and Viola's consent!
