My husband Len and I own a beef producing farm where we practise organic and ethical farming principles and also raise Braunvieh and Tarentaise stud cattle. Originally, in the late 1800's the property was run as a dairy farm and we have converted the old dairy shed into a quaint BnB and had the greatest time decorating and furnishing it to reflect the history and character of the building. We understand that the building was the third dairy to be built here with the second old dairy still standing close by where the cows were milked by hand. We have been having fun collecting farm memorabilia and old bits and pieces as we intend to turn this older building into a little museum and under cover BBQ/outdoor entertainment area for our guests to enjoy in the future.
