The space
This unique home is nestled in the quiet village of Isabella bank alongside the Belize river and inside the protected howler monkey reserve. Moving outward into the outside scenery, a family of 7 howler monkeys can be sighted from time to time right next to the house ,feeding on their favorite "trumpet leaves". Way up in the canopy of the trees, many birds such as the Kill-billed Toucan(OUR NATIONAL BIRD), the Solitary Eagle, the Orange Breasted Falcon are sure to be spotted all around the property.

With a bicycle ride away or if you prefer to take the 10-15 mins walk out of a lovely village, there's a local grocery store where you can purchase your groceries, snacks, drinks, or anything you may need. If you're in search for a little interaction with some of the villagers or an outing from the secluded space you've been enjoying, there's also a village pub in the area; there you can get to meet a few Belizeans, listen to their jokes, & enjoy a taste of our local beer in the mix of it all.
There's also the river close by; it's less than a 2 minutes walk away. You can also enjoy a canoe tour or fishing experience as you take in all the natural scenery of wild life and howler monkeys all near by.
ALSO, CLOSE BY you will find the amazing Belize Zoo, the Howler Monkey Sanctuary, Mayan ruins, Cave-tubing and Zip-lining, local exotic wine makers and a 30 min drive to the Caye Caulker ferry where you can go out for the day and explore the island kayaking, snorkeling/diving on the reef or even rent a sail boat.
