A perfect Airbnb experience ! A really lovely family, I availed myself of Pamela's kind offer to cook evening meals (for an extra fee), and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening meals and chats ! The house has a fairly spectacular view over the valley, and I imagine that in summer, sitting in the garden would be pretty gorgeous. Your room is a very comfy single room, with a desk, and loads of books ! Although there is no wifi, they have ethernet, and they are happy to give you a data cable, which you can plug in. Pamela offered to take me on a local walk, which sounded lovely, but it was raining ... so I declined ! Another interesting local excursion would be Hebden Bridge, which is a really pretty town just a few miles down the road. Unfortunately HB had experienced horrendous flooding just before I was there, but when the town has recovered, this would be a lovely outing. Street parking is available, and public transport sounds like it is within walking distance. This would be a particularly great Airbnb for anyone working/studying in the local area, who wants a 'home away from home' experience !

I am a retired, mainly stay at home, mum. I enjoy reading, walking and gardening. I grow flowers, fruit, herbs and vegetables bio-dynamically, and support organic methods. I enjoy real food cooking. I offer an evening meal at £6.
