Mary's home was beautiful, clean, and had everything you could ever need when traveling. Mary was great to communicate with and even offered suggestions on where to eat, shops around town, and local events. We would definitely stay there again!

The stay at Mary's was great. The house was indeed spacious as was the hospitality. There was a lively card game going on when we got there so I joined in on the fun and,was well accepted. I will be moving to Marysville soon and Mary was very helpful with names and suggestions on places,to live. I would recommend this House on the Hill.

Wow!!! Mary and Mike were super hosts. Their home is large, spacious, and beautiful. They have a large game room with a TV, table, pool table and and sofa. There is a small room off the game room with bottled water and a refrigerator for guests. Her home is close to everything in the town and it is safe walking at night. She offered us the use of her kitchen and since it was a 3 day weekend, fixed a breakfast casserole and shared it with us before we restarted our journey. We felt as if she were family. I would recommend her house to anyone traveling on HWY 36 and my husband and I would definitely stay with her again.

Mary is the best hostess ever. We traveled for business, and she spent time and energy doing some promotion for us, which we greatly appreciated. She knows everybody in town, it seems, and loves to share the history of Marysville with visitors. This is our second time staying here, and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Mary's house is beautiful, spacious, cozy, and well located if you are driving halfway across Kansas and need a genuine oasis on a Sunday evening. I was a bit late getting to Mary's, and all the restaurants in town were closed. Without batting an eye she offered me leftover roast beef and vegetables that she had just put in the fridge. YUM. She hung out and we chatted while I ate and had a great time. It wasn't long before it was revealed that she had made four dozen cookies that day and a plate of them appeared. YUM again.

Mary was an excellent host, and her home was comfortable and spacious. Her and Michael were good company for conversation, and privacy was always given when wanted. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and sleep was peaceful. Thanks to her water recirculation system, showers were instantly hot and refreshing, and plenty of towels were provided. Parking was always available curbside, and her home was located centrally in Marysville for easy access to local businesses. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future for any visit to Kansas. She was truly a warm and kind host, and happy to share her home with guests; I am very grateful for the experience.

Interaction with guests

We both work, but Mary's schedule is fairly flexible and she is home most evenings. If you want privacy, you can have that. If you want someone to visit with, we are always happy to get to know our guests. Mary loves to play Cribbage, so if you're a fan, she'll be up for a game. Michael & Mary both enjoy shooting a little pool and will be happy to join you in a game.

My friends tell me that I am a care giver! Seems I like to help them with things and I'm always feeding them. I ride a motorcycle, enjoy travel, give me a beach and I'm pretty happy. I work at a home décor, boutique, kitchen store. I enjoy music & recently started taking piano lessons. I am a member of our local theater group and enjoy working with them. I enjoy playing cards and love meeting new people.
