The space

Rent ROOM in apartment very bright and from April to September with the
possibility to enjoy a large terrace of 50 square meters, where you
can taste a nice breakfast or nap in the hammock at sunset with a
drink ...
Two modes of rent: a private room of 15 sqm with breakfast, or rather,
when I'm out of town, the entire apartment that, excluding my room,
consists of 43 sqm and is composed of entrance, living room with
kitchenette, bathroom and room previously mentioned (15sqm). The
apartment is located two kilometers from pigneto district
(https://www.airbnb.it/locations/rome/pigneto), in the
south-east area of the city, a multiethnic district called "TORPIGNATTARA" that is well connected to the major
stations.here is a brief history of the neighborhood: In the past, the present-day territory of Torpignattara had various names, including that of "Ad duas lauros", "In comitatu" and "Sub Augusta."
The first, For duas lauros, it must be the Latin Christian writer Tertullian (150-220), which, in remembering seditious, certainly not Christians, who had conspired against the emperor is addressed to the Gentiles with a question: "Inter duas lauros obsident Caesarem? "(" by the two laurels tend the ambush to the Emperor? "). In fact, in this area there was the imperial residence or villa, which still existed then, in the middle of the Christian era.
The Emperor Valentinian III, was killed in 455, during a conspiracy, just at this location while engaged in archery exercises on the parade ground of his residence "to duas lauros" [2]. The locations included, besides the imperial residence, even the villas, the castrates (military camps) and the campus martius, where they carried out regular trainings and exercises of the military units.
Between 1943 and 1945, Torpignattara was the protagonist of the Resistance against the German occupation of Rome. This was so intense that the soldiers of the Wehrmacht often gave up to go into the streets of the area due to continuous guerrilla raids. From Casilina the Allies entered Rome declared an open city.
In the sixties Torpignattara is one of the scenarios of the novels of Pier Paolo Pasolini. As a matter of Torpignattara the restaurant was frequented by Pasolini, Ninetto Davoli and Franco and Sergio Citti, who lived in the area.
The request is for 30 euro per day for the single room (one person, next guests 15 euros) and 60 euro per
day for the apartment (two guests. next guests 15 euros per person) The house with parquet flooring and wooden
furniture has orange as the dominant color. The bedroom overlooks a
delightful courtyard that ensures privacy and silence and during the
morning is very pleasant to open the windows also in winter, to get
warm from the sun lying in bed!
Bed linen and towels are both provided.
If required, a third bed is possible.(inflatable)

The apartment is good if you don't need to cook or wash clothes, but that combined with the hour+ it takes to reach any of Rome's attractions diminishes the value over hostels. It's worth considering whether the privacy and security of this apartment is worth the time and money o…

Response from Claudia:
Passa a italianoChiudi schermo intero This review leaves me very puzzled: 1) who takes a room should read before you book it its characteristics, and no wonder only once reached the spot certain restrictions, such as the 'limited use of the kitchen only to breakfast, but I will, however, explain why this restriction: I do not have a separate kitchen from the other rooms but a kitchenette located in the living room, and I live at my house, and the living room is the room where I spend most of my time and where I often work. When you rent both rooms and I have not rather do not want us to use the kitchen after breakfast, because most of the time guests have not left clean, they rummaged through drawers and created disorder, and this has resulted in a loss of greater and greater fatigue time to clean it, I do not add costs for cleaning, thus maintaining a popular price in favor of the guests, and I can say that even granting the use of the kitchen only for breakfast I found little respect for this space. I also want to point out that the breakfast's on me doing the guests find croissants, cereal biscuits, milk yogurt honey jam barley juice, tea is coffee, so it takes a lot of courage to say that it is cheaper to go to a hostel, Mr. guest is invited to take a ride on the internet and see the cost of a hostel in Rome, where it is often in dormitories, and where the 'hygiene is poor, i would also like to know why Mr. guest did not enjoyed "privacy" guests in the house were two in all, he's another guy, each with its own private room 2) l 'use of washing machine is permitted to those staying a minimum of 5 nights (although this can be clearly learned on my airbnb page before booking the room) however on the second day not only he has loaded the washing machine putting out the my laundry and throwing it in bulk crumpled in a corner, without asking, please, and IF he could start, but a message asking directly sent me, that does not work and has had the courage in the private feedback to airbnb to claim that this restriction is the It costs a lot of money and time! Fifty meters from my house there is a laundry in 30 minutes and 5 € washes and dries holed from 30 kg !!!!! 3) to reach the center is difficult to put an hour, we see that Mr. host is lost every day .... To get to the central station where for example you can go on foot to the Colosseum, there is a tram that puts us 20 minutes.

Very nice apartment. The roof terrace is wonderful. The location felt a bit far away, but totally worth it to be able to stay in Rome for that price.

Claudia is very sweet and helpful. Very comfortable room I stayed in. There's a trick to opening the apartment door but is nothing too crazy. If I was to go back to Rome I would definitely stay at her place again.
