Our delightful flat, tucked away in a calm street, is literally just steps away from the center of Montignac, the tourist office, all shops, and restaurants. The museum Lascaux IV with cave paintings is 5 min. away, Sarlat, Beynac, Hautefort and Les Eyzies a short drive.

Dating back more than 250 years, our lovingly restored self-catering holiday studio is situated in one part of two interconnected town houses with views onto a charming back garden. Your private access from the street to the accommodation on the 1st and 2nd floor passes through a former horse stable with an authentic stone floor.
Our studio offers two bedrooms and sleeps 4-6. Carefully renovated, the old charm has been preserved with original oak beams, old wooden floors and a rustic fireplace.
1st floor: dining area with a large fireplace and kitchenette with a refrigerator/cooker/microwave/coffee machine/toaster. There is a large bathroom with separate bathtub, shower and WC. 1 Bedroom, sleeps 2, twin beds. A balcony with beautiful views of the garden planted with palms, banana shrub and fruit trees.
2nd floor: Beautifully renovated spacious room with parquet floors, high ceilings and oak beams, sleeps 2 (max. 4), double bed, additional sofa bed, table and chairs. Two large roof windows create a bright, serene atmosphere.
You're welcome to share the garden with sun chairs. The accommodation is on the first and second floor. You have direct access to the garden with your own table & chairs and BBQ.
Weekly rental (480-high/400-mid/320-low) for 4 persons. All shops and commodities at 200m. Linen provided. Walking, canoeing, bike hire, public swimming pool at 3 min. Car is recommended. Closest train stations: Brive, Périgueux, Le Lardin.Condat, Thenon. 20 minutes from exit 17 (Thenon) on the A89.
The Vézèrere valley contains 147 prehistoric sites dating from the Palaeolithic and 25 decorated caves, and is part of the UNESCO world heritage sites.
Visit romantic places like Sarlat in the evening, discover the abbey at Saint Amand de Coly, a stop on the St. Jacob's Pilgrims Trail, while a rehearsal for the Classical Music Festival is going on, dine at Layotte in Tursac and enjoy a substantial home cooked meal with wild flowers and fern salad, visit some of the well - at least 1,500 castles, or paddle past an ancient cliff dwelling in a canoe - there is plenty to do and even more to see, and we'll be happy to advise you and give you tips for what to see off the beaten tracks.
