Guests who stayed here in the past year loved the location.
Lovingly restored and completely private with its own walled courtyard, the granny flat is a lovely fresh and light filled space located just 200m from the magnificent Clarence river and a short walk/ride into the centre of town. The street is very quiet with plenty of parking and the flat is nestled in a large backyard surrounded by snippets of rural lifestyle including lush gardens, friendly chickens and hardworking bees.

The space
The granny flat has just been renovated. It is clean and spacious and very private. Includes new kitchen and new bathroom. Laundry facilities are also avaiable.
Lovely private courtyard and flat access is walled so complete privacy is assured.
Please note the bedding arrangements are one queen size bed and one double sofa bed.

Guest access
In addition to the flat and courtyard, guests are welcome to use the adjacent laundry facilities as well as the backyard of the main house including, BBQ, wood fired pizza oven and gardens.
We also have a large number of recreational equipment such as, push bikes, kayak, snorkelling gear etc. which guests are welcome to use.

Other things to note
We have a lovely Kelpie cross 'Barney' who is very friendly and completely child safe. He might pop out the back to say hello but if you are uncomfortable with this just say 'off you go Barney' and he will trot back to the main house.

We have a bee hive on site. They are very calm and completely absorbed in their busy lives.

We also have chickens penned behind the flat which supply the flat with lovely fresh eggs, laid the day before your visit. You can't get any fresher!

We have a very relaxed check in/check out policy. Basically if the flat is booked the day immediately before or after your booking we will work out check in and out times with both parties. If there is no booking immediately before or after your booking you are welcome to early check in and/or late check out. To help with this please let us know a round about time for your planned arrival and departure.

Neighbourhood highlights

The flat is located in a very quiet neighbourhood just 200m from the magnificent Clarence River and a public bike/footpath that leads into town and to the beach (about 1.5km)
At the end of our street there is a fantastic coffee shop, medical centre, fish co-op, large boat ramp and picnic area.
About 500m down the road is the town Marina which includes boat hire, cafe, fish monger and fishing tour bookings.
Along the path into town there is a large park, the local ferry wharf and lots of places to fish along the river.

We are an active family who love the outdoors,travelling, good food, music and anything to do with the water. We consider ourselves very lucky to have been part of the Yamba community for the last twenty years. It has been a wonderful place to raise our two children and has given us a wonderful lifestyle that has everything we enjoy. We love our town and our home and we are really excited about the opportunity to share our lovely village with like minded people. We are very relaxed around our home and hope that our guests can feel the same. As hosts we just want to match our guests needs as well as we can. If guests are wanting a private escape, we are happy to leave people to themselves, but if guests are eager to chat and ask about the local scene we are very happy to share our local knowledge and favourite places.
